So you can throw me to the wolves
    Tomorrow I will come back
    Leader of the whole pack
    Beat me black and blue
    Every wound will shape me
Every scar will build my throne

The cool air flowing through Ardere's lungs, his red eyes stayed fixed upon the vast ocean before him. Waiting for the others to arrive, he folded his armor-covered arms. He stood at the edge of the Shadow Island, near a run-down old dock. The wooden structure was torn to shreds, likely due to monster attacks. Mythical creatures roamed in abundance on this island, thus making it a perfect candidate for what he was trying to start. It was a dark, wild place full of dangerous life. The island was in need of some light. He aimed to utilize the darkness and shadow of the place he stood in to his advantage. An organization of the nature and magnitude of what he aimed to create required such.

I hope they come. He muttered to himself, wondering if any of the people he invited would come. No. That thought was incorrect, he knew at least one of them would show. The Fire King invited six other mages to this location, in hopes they would see his point of view. Some he knew well, others he had barely or never even met before. He saw this as an opportunity to accomplish something great, or at the very least establish alliances. This meeting was beyond guilds, and beyond himself. Standing there in his red armor with the gold trim, his white cloak flapped in the wind as Clarent as stuck to his side like an extra limb. While it was a peaceful arrangement, the land he walked was not so.

The skies were clear above the island, as the sun began to set with a variety of orange and purple, swirling along the edge of the earth as if it were a part of the sea he viewed. He chose to meet under the cover of night, but doing so made it more dangerous for even the stronger mages to be present on Shadow Island. Ardere was confident in his motives and his tactics for acting upon them, but he could not help but rake his teeth across the inside of his cheeks. Even a mage with his experience felt anxiety and the occasional nerve. But deep within the pit of his stomach, there would dwell a sense of hope and even excitement. Today was a new start. He only hoped all six of them would respond to his letter.

And while you are sitting indoors
waiting for the storm to pass
I will be outside dancing in the rain

Astrid had honestly almost thrown this very important letter away. Not because she thought it to be unimportant or anything, quite the opposite actually. But while shifting through her daily mail of bills, ads, and other equally as dull letters she had almost missed this individual invitation. The elf was rather tired these days with her piles upon piles of work, so something like this was not irregular for her to do. In fact if she hadn’t had caught the fancy writing upon the envelope within the last seconds before dumping it into the garbage she might have not seen this at all. Luckily Ardere had handwriting that seemed to stand out. Not that she currently knew it was the Infinity Hydra guild master that had called her here, as the person’s signature was some sort of weird metaphor. A metaphor that the slayer did not know to fit any mages she knew personally. And with the name being surrounded by mystery she was almost tempted to push it to the side. She was not up for anymore games right now. She was a busy woman, far too busy for someone who wouldn’t even bother to put their actual name on an invitation. She didn’t want to walk into any more traps, thank you. With Erika recently coming back into her life she didn’t need anything else to distract her from her goals… But even though she tried to forget about it the letter’s message managed to stick within her mind no matter what. Damn her curiosity.
It called for those who enjoyed helping others, and the guild master was very much such a person. In fact, it was basically her job to do so, as well as just her main goal in life. Though maybe quite stupid eventually the letter won her over after a few days of hard thinking. She would just go to see what this was about. If she didn’t agree, she would just leave. And it’s not like she did not have the power to do so if need be by force.
The worst that would happen, is that she would go home.

A ship was not needed when you had enough speed to run upon water. As a white dragon slayer ‘fast’ was just her middle name. And while running over an entire ocean might seem excessive to some, as someone who suffered from motion sickness, it was a big hurdle she was willing to take in order to not look as sick as a dog in front of these apparent powerful mages.
It took no time at all to reach her destination. A couple minutes maybe? She wasn’t sure. While traveling at the speed of light your time estimation is usually a little off.
Seemingly from out of nowhere a silver light would emerge from the distance of the water and stop suddenly before Ardere. The light would fade and rematerialize into the elf herself, silver hair falling neatly behind her back. Being almost an entire foot smaller than the fire king she would have to look up to him, purple eyes tracing his fancy armor. For some reason, he looked familiar. But she couldn’t quite put her finger on it. Still he practically oozed an aura of important about him, causing the silvernette to become suddenly aware of her posture and overall appearance. She stood straight, neatly folding her hands in front of her. “Bonjour, monsieur. May i assume you are the one who sent me the letter?” She asked, head tilting slightly with curiosity. At least he didn’t look as shady as she thought he would. In fact the complete opposite. Astrid paused, taking a moment to look around the shadowy land. No one else was here yet… So she was the first one? Oh my, seems she was a bit too fast for once… “Though my guess is that i am not the only one, seeing as how you referenced an entire group.”

(Y'all have fancy templates and stuffs)

A day off. He was coming up on starting his one hundredth job since he joined Sabertooth and Mashyuu was taking a much needed break. Kenna, his lover and one of two house mates in Beanstalk village was out, dealing with something that she had asked Mashyuu to stay out of so she could prove to herself that she didn't need him to fight her battles, he knew she didn't need him but hated to see her get hurt. Still she asked him to remain out of her job for once and as much as it pained him, he would do as she asked, Luna and Imai, the other members of the Sabertooth team the Olympians were trying to decide on a job to do and Itsu, along with Mashyuu sat on his front porch, watching the kids run around while adult farmers tilled their fields. He was about to start helping, almost effortlessly aiming to get moving when a small child ran up to his porch and handed Mashyuu a letter with handwriting he hadn't seen before. "Eh I don't recognize this. Not the magic council, and not Kite then. Lets see..." He mumbled to himself while handing the child who delivered the letter a few jewels as a payment. Quickly the glowing blue eyes of the brown haired man scanned the sheet inside the envelope while Itsu snuck in next to him and read along. "It's Arde, he's on Shadow Island. Easy." Itsu chimed in and patted Mashyuu on the back as she walked away to go play with the children. How the hell she knew that, Mashyuu would never know or ever ask about. Instead he simply went back into his house and got dressed in his brown martial arts gi and spiked boots along with stone bracers and black leather fighting gloves with strips of silver steel inlaid on the gloves.

Mashyuu pointed to the ground next to his house and a rock, flat on all sides, almost like a sheet of paper rose up and floated. Quickly he jumped on and took off high into the sky, headed towards the island. It wasn't too far for Mashyuu as he could soar over land masses thanks to his bracers. Wind whipped past him as bugs splattered on his face and he winced like he was trying to fight back a sneeze. Mashyuu rapidly slapped his face and cleared it from insects when he saw a streak of silver appear off in the distance on the island. "Oh boy, that is some real magical power over there! One is for sure Ardere,
I cant tell who the other is. This is gonna be really exciting!"
The God Slayer shouted and took aim for the docks of the island, coming down not long after Astrid arrived. In the dark Mashyuu frowned and let the golden light his Light Dragon Slayer lacrima allowed him to use flare up, pushing off of him in deep waves as he floated on his stone above the others. "YO! Ardere! I'm here, it's good to see you when Sabertooth isn't in danger for once!" He shouted and jumped off his flying stone. Mashyuu did a front flip through the air and landed on the wooden dock firmly, his large legs dug into the wood like roots of a tree dug into soil.

A wide smile crept over Mashyuu's lips the moment he realized that whatever this was, was going to be special. Wizard Saints were fine but Mashyuu didn't put much stock in titles all things considered. The Saints never helped anyone Mashyuu cared about, and if they had, they didn't announce they were a Saint. It always seemed like it was the little man doing all the hard work. Mashyuu laid his vibrant, neon blue eyes on Astrid and felt his heart skip a beat. "My, my I don't think we have ever met before. That is rare for me. Hi, I'm Mashyuu from Sabertooth. It is a true pleasure and honor to stand before you...ummm.
Sorry, I don't think I caught your name yet... You are?"

Hera would appear on Shadow Island out of a huge stream of flames that came through the heavens; literally lightning up the island of eternal night in a bright orange for a moment up above as the streak of flames traveled brilliantly for a moment and then out of sight as it would land somewhere on the island and take form of a young woman; about 18 or so looks wise. She had long pink hair, and sunglasses on her head of course; because somehow it was always nightime on this island. Such a phenomenon......even though it's 3PM right now, here it's night all the time.....would be worth some magical investigation for the guild on this one! they were after all, Fairy Tail; the guild of magical secrets. Priding themselves on having or knowing of magical knowledge or happenings that no one else did. She'd have to come back here later with some guildmates or perhaps some others from this new group she was about to be a part of.

Her figure was that of a high school track star, with curves and all. As she formed up, her hand was still on fire as she waved it out annoyed with a whoosh as it smoked a bit. She had an annoyed look as she was still working out the kinks of flame travel; Dragon Slayers specialized in turning their bodies into their element or using it from their body; but her Dad was way better with his Instant Lightning Transmission than she was with her Hermes Fire. Apparently, with this technique; he used to appear anywhere he'd been before in an instant bolt of lightning. Even flying across galaxies as a lightning bolt or to other worlds and planets. She definitely did NOT trust herself to do that. He also used to take other people with him...which was out of the option in her mind as all she imagined is her setting a bunch of people holding hands with her in a big circle on fire. She knew it was possible but...she still had some kinks to work out with flame travel for sure.

Holding up a single thumb as it lit up like a candle in the darkness; the mage held up the message in front of her by candlelight and read it again. Looking around; her superhuman hearing and smell picked up various different sounds up ahead that sounded like language and not like nature. Blowing a huge bubble after putting some gum in her mouth; the sound of it 'popping' would approach the group as Hera literally walked right up on them chewing some gum.

She let her eyes show Ardere all the love in the world, as she was surprised to see him. Her dad and him were great friends, so it was like seeing a family member or someone you hadn't seen in awhile everytime she laid eyes on him. Even if she had just seen him...that effect never changed. Another friend of her late Dad's as well was here...Mashyuu. Damn he was handsome. If she wasn't with Ezra......he was so stoic it was striking. Then it was....the Guilmaster of Golden Phoenix?! Whoa! So she.....she really is an elf! Hera had seen her in a magazine or two, but never up close like this. Her girlfriend Summer was a member of that Guild. She hadn't seen her in so long, even though they used to hang out all the time. Whoa.....elf-chan!!! Hera's eyes lit up comically as she looked at Astrid, joining the circle of the group with her arms crossed; blowing another bubble briefly before she talked.

"Well well, you've stumbled into good company haven't ya?" her voice had flavor to it naturally as a fire mage, but still feminine as she teased Astrid about the two clearly "hot" guys she was around, with a soft smile and nodded to her generally pleased to be around her. Taking the gum out of her mouth and flicking it off into the woods. She would then remain silent and lean on a tree near Mashyuu and Astrid with her arms crossed. "Hera, Hera Reyold." she would say to Astrid from the tree near Mashyuu the other young lady with snow white hair; as she was the only one here who she wasn't on a first name basis with yet.

After a few moments of silence, Hera would hold her hand out and make a flame; staring into it as it reflected in her eyes. Her face didn't show any emotion though, she just did this to pass the time and create a fireglow for everyone if they needed it.

Comments, Concerns, Etc.: Hero charging on in!

There was no such thing as a day off for Hero Yamamoto. Why was that? In this world, there was no shortage of people who desperately needed to be protected and this man happened to be the one constantly going at it without rest. Titan had finally achieved a level of strength which allowed him to protect the people around him, the coveted S-class. He had come so very far in only a year that he literally never had time to take a genuine break. In a way, perhaps he was thankful for that. If he ever had a chance to breathe, he may have broken under the pressure of the losses of people in his travels. Movement unyielding gave him the resolve to push through those hard times, though there were side effects to this lifestyle he did not yet know how to control. After all, it was only one week ago that he almost destroyed Peace Village had it not been for that young man Mashyuu snapping him out of his breakdown. Something deep within the giant was trying to claw its way out... and it worried him greatly; he had to find a way to control it, for his sake and for the sake of all those around him.

But what was this man doing right now? At the moment, he was walking through Magnolia, enjoying the sights of the constant festivities and happy people. Knowing that Hero contributed to the longevity of this atmosphere made him feel proud and happy to be alive. Every now and then, kids ran up to him and dragged him along to play, to which of course he did. In fact, it was fun having ten kids at a time climbing onto his shoulders while he jumped around and performed interesting tricks with his magic. To think that a man from such dark beginnings would arrive at this checkpoint in his life. This was proof of his dedication, his desire to improve and learn and guide and protect with an unbreakable smile. Hero became quite the personality among the people of Fiore now that he thought about it. Yamamoto could have never seen himself doing this a year ago.

While playing with children by the great tree in the center of the city, a young lady ran up to him with a haste-filled expression and instantaneously the giant grew serious. The children all jumped off of him and looked at the woman who stopped to breathe.

"What is it, young lady? Is there something wrong?!"

She snapped up and immediately started to shake her head left and right, her medium-long hair bobbing wildly to and fro.

"No, sir! This letter requests your attention. I just wanted to get it to you as soon as possible."

Then the giant laughed heartily and pressed his hand against his forehead. He got serious before even knowing what it was about! The children mimicked his laughter at the same time as he was and then he spoke again.

"I see! Thank you, young lady. Don't be in such a rush next time, though! It is alright after all, because I am here."

Titan took the letter and then the girl nodded and smiled before running off to a nearby restaurant. Upon opening the letter, it was obviously not from the Magic Council because it was written more like an invitation. The contents were simple and to the point. What made the man want to go right away was this thought alone: he was not the only person who had this desire to protect and serve. Judging by the way this was written, he was likely not the only one who got this letter; that was an excitable notion. Shadow Island, huh? He had not been there before but he knew exactly where it was since he had passed by it on numerous occasions previously. With the location in his mind, Hero told the children he had to leave for a while but he would be back to play some more. He then gave them all a thumb up, which they mimicked, and then he darted off as a ball of golden light toward that darkened landmass.

In minutes, Yamamoto had already reached the ocean and then he began running across it, the waves parting at each footstep he made. The fresh water felt wonderful upon the bottoms of his bare feet and on his face. After a few more minutes running, he finally saw Shadow Island coming up fast  in the distance; in order to get there, Hero launched himself off the water and high into the air, where he then aimed himself at the ground where there were already a few people standing together. Upon landing, a giant gust of wind pushed outward from his position before he stood upright and looked at the people whom were there. Astrid, one of the young Guild Masters of Golden Phoenix was there, along with Mashyuu who he met recently. The third person was easily identifiable by their armor: Ardere Kasai, the Guild Master of Infinity Hydra and the third God of Ishval. That was a pretty big name to have been called by. The other was... someone the giant did not actually recognize immediately, though after a few seconds he realized who the woman was: Hera Reyold, the daughter of that Mage who died trying to face Acnologia on his own. That was yet another big name to have in attendance. This was going to be quite the group, he thought to himself. Hero then announced himself briefly while the gust of wind was just beginning to settle.

"I have arrived. Hero Yamamoto, fashionably late and in attendance!"

"A letter?" The CEO of the West Fiore Trading Company spoke out as his secretary Alisha held out a envelope to him. "You would think that they would come in person with wasting all that time. Maybe even just send a messenger to talk with or something, right pillow chest?" He called Alisha by one of the nicknames he had for her which caused the woman to scoff at him and leave the envelope on his desk while leaving him in his office alone at his desk. "Hmm.. Guess I need a new nick name for her.." He mumbled to himself as he opened the envelope and unfolded the paper. He quickly scanned over the words on the paper and raised his eyebrow to it. He couldn't exactly figure out who it was and with his good track record of people who just wanted him dead he did not exactly want to go on a trip somewhere where he was possibly walking into a trap but the issue was he was like most others and curiosity got the best of him.

He had other issues though as the leader of the trading company to deal with. They had multiple jobs to fill in with people, he had to deal with paperwork and he had to even deal with other's who could possibly need him specifically for a job or something else. It was pretty boring to him but he knew he had to do it. Well, he had to do it at times. He came through the door of his office and walked to Alisha's desk that was not too far from his. "Alisha." He spoke out her name causing her to glare at him. She knew that nothing good came after he called her by her name. "Sir..." Cirven gave the girl a grin. "I need you to deal with all my stuff while I am gone, please. That letter was a friend who needed some help with something urgent." He lied to her but he just wanted to get out of the building for some time while doing something that had the potential of adventure to it. "Urgent? Like what?" She questioned him and put him on the spot but she was dealing with someone who knew how to talk better than they knew how to do most things so he had a plan. "Their dog died and they needed help burying it. The pooch was a real member of the family named Scruffles." Alisha's eyes started to tear up. "A dog died?!" Cirven was caught off guard by how the woman acted and then she shot up and practically pushed him out of the room. "Go! go and help them in their time of need!" He couldn't get a word in as she kept telling him to go and pushed him out the door to the area. "Wait! There was more!" She stopped pushing him and paid attention to him. "So can you like put your head on those and sleep on them or something?" He pointed at her large assets as he spoke and she quickly slapped him and shut the door leading into the room in his face. "Taking that as a yes." He called out and then turned away from the door and left the WFTC headquarters.

Not too long later a serpent dragon would fly over Shadow Island looking to be searching for something. A figure would jump off of the dragon from the sky and move quickly towards the silver light being basically projected off of the island like some sort of beacon. Cirven would land near Ardere and the others with sparks of black electricity coming off from his body from the use of his ability to fly through electromagnetism. "I know you right?" Cirven stared at Ardere not caring if he interrupted anything. He was invited after all. "Oh yeah, you are that armored guy from that guild masters meeting thing and the guy who helped during that Sabertooth attack! Ardere, right?" He turned his view to see Mashyuu was there and gave the man a wave of his hand. "Yo, Mash. How's it hanging? To the left or right? Maybe stuck to something?" His focus broke from his recent job ally to the others there already. He eyed the elf woman who he felt would probably think he was one due to his pointed ears but she could probably tell he was something more due to his dual colored eyes maybe. He wasn't big on elf knowledge at all. Either way he gave the woman a wave of his hand and a nod while doing the same for the bald man who was also present.

The last person he stared at curiously. He couldn't put hit foot on it exactly but he felt like he should know the girl lighting up the area with a handful of fire in some way. "Who are you? Your face is familiar somehow to me somehow..." He questioned the girl out loud and not caring what the others thought if that wasn't obvious enough.

    Every wound will shape me
Every scar will build my throne

The first of the many he had invited to this island of shadows had arrived. It was not who Ardere expected, but there was no sense of disappointment. In fact, he was rather delighted to see Astrid Foss arrive first. She was one of the few to receive letters that he had only barely even met. Bonjour mademoiselle. It was I indeed. Giving a slight bow, the fire mage's Minstrel accent was a bit rusty, but still better than the average Fioran or a Midian for that matter. Midi being his native country, his accent still showed occasionally. Nice to see you made it. We'll be waiting for the others here. Shouldn't be long. Folding his arms, the wind began to pick up, prompting his deep brown hair to flicker.

The next arrival presented themselves in a far more extravagant manner than the Golden Phoenix guild master. Mashyuu was a man of high energy, which was something the samurai enjoyed. Always good too see you Mash, but don't be too hasty. Danger always lurks. A smile crossed his pale lips as he gave a slight wave to the man from Sabertooth, the next Paragon arriving behind him. The burst of flames and heat gave away the identity of the newcomer instantly, not to mention her potent scent. Hera Reyold was perhaps the strongest of the group in terms of raw power, but she still had some experience to catch up in. It's been too long Hera. Last time we saw each other, was under the wings of a dragon. Hopefully we dont find ourselves stuck in that position again.

Looking over to see another one blasting across the ocean, Ardere was beginning to wonder if meeting by the dock was even important at all. Letting out a slight sigh, he shook his head. They were powerful, but the mages he invited were goofs sometimes, and he adored that about them. Yamamoto-sama. It's a pleasure. We should be getting only one or two more arrivals. Speak of the Devil. The final face was one he only knew through the grapevine, making him the odd man out, but his knowledge and influence extended well beyond the requirements for their goals. That'd be me. Good to formally meet you,
    Cirven.
Laughing and rubbing the back of his neck, the fire mage twisted his lips before changing his tone to a more serious one. It seems our last arrival will be a bit late, for now you guys can follow me.

Leading the group into the forest, the trees formed a dense brush throughout the island, dark and filled with an ominous energy. The monsters lurking beyond it kept their distance, as they could feel the powerful energy of the group of mages. Their combined power was more than enough to challenge an army of monsters, but that was not their aim here. Ardere lead the group not too far into the island, until they arrived at what appeared to be an abandoned fortress. It was unclear currently what country claimed this fortress before it was abandoned, but the structure was massive and made of a strong mix of stone and iron. The building was perhaps a hundred years old, yet it still stood strong even with the holes in the walls and vines littered across it's exterior. This here is an old Pergrande military base. It's been long since abandoned as even they couldn't take the monster attacks back then. I figured it would be a suitable place for us to meet. Let's go inside and begin, shall we? A devilish smirk plastered across his lips, the brown haired mage began to move.

Wolfe had received a letter on his desk from his guild master Ardere that seemed to ask him to meet him and some others on Shadow Island to talk about some kind grouping he was looking into. As Wolfe read the letter he only recognized like two names on the list that were not his own, and one of them was Ardere. Wolfe was more than happy to meet up with them and see what this was all about. From the names on the list it looked like a who’s who of powerful mages, or at least from the few names he had known from the list. Unfortunately he didn’t know any of them personally besides Ardere, but from some of the stuff he had heard and read up on since his return he had heard of a few of the names, and they were all associated with high ranking mages. So Wolfe figured Ardere had something up his sleeve, but he wasn’t sure, but he figured he would explain everything at the gathering, and it would be pretty interesting.

Wolfe ended up taking a nap later that day, as sometimes since he had been back he would feel more downed than he thought he should and would end up having to take some down time. Wolfe was starting to figure it was some kind of long term damage he must of received when he was tortured during his capture. Unfortunately he didn’t even remember anything from that, only a blur of pain that seemed to last days before he was able to escape. So now he was feeling one of those moments and decided to take a nap. So Wolfe laid his head down for a rest and was out like a light, and deep into dreams within what seemed like no time at all. Once again Wolfe started to have dreams that were different from normal dreams, as they seemed so lucid and surreal as he saw and felt things that seemed tied to magic itself. He had a dream like this right when Sabertooth’s guild hall fell and he could feel the shift of power, and the rise of the elders, and knew he needed to be at Ardere’s side to help him. This dream seemed similar in that he felt the surge of power and magic as it converged upon one spot and he could tell the magic was a force that would force change. He couldn’t tell how, but he felt change was coming and this power would be the power that forced it, and he then saw human looking shapes that seemed to surge the power of magic he felt and one of them felt like it came from inside of him and then suddenly Wolfe jolted up from his sleep. Wolfe was disoriented for a few seconds before he gathered himself and looked at the time to realize he was late to Ardere’ gathering and jumped up and grabbed his boots and put them on, and in just boots and his black pants he ran out of his house and in mid step just a few feet outside of his door there was a blinding burst of light and Wolfe was gone as he shifted into a bolt of lightning and shot into the sky and was gone.

It only took a few minutes before he made it to Shadow Island and was just above the area that Ardere had put on the paper but no one was there, but he could feel a larger surge of powers from just a little further inland and continued through the sky until he saw the group of mages standing in front of a larger building, Ardere among them, and knew he was in the right place. Then Wolfe shot down as a bolt of lightning and hit the ground only meters from Ardere and with a blinding flash of light as the lightning hit the ground Wolfe was now standing there. Wolfe was only rocking his black pants, and black boots and he looked a little confused for a second as he turned to Ardere ”I am sorry brother, I fell asleep and obviously rushed here. I even ran out before grabbing a shirt. I am sorry I am not proper. I hope this will not offend anyone.” Wolfe gave Ardere a slight nod as he turned to face the others ”The same apology goes out to you all for both my tardiness and not being in proper dress. I am Wolfe.” Wolfe gave them a slight bow and then waited to see what was going on. Making sure to follow Ardere into the building after introducing himself and hearing anything anyone else had to say.

[excuse the bad post, currently working with an ear infection]

And while you are sitting indoors
waiting for the storm to pass
I will be outside dancing in the rain

The woman returned Ardere's greeting with a bow of her own before she too turned back to the water to watch and see who would turn up next, awaiting for everyone one else to arrive. Though hopefully it would not take too much longer. This island was a little... unnerving to say the least with it's weirdly dim lighting 24/7. You would think as a light mage Astrid wouldn't be scared of such childish things like the dark, but honestly once one got to really know her you could hardly call her an adult at all.
The next person to arrive caught her by surprise. Well rather, his powers and their auras had caught her by surprise, as she could recognize some of the power that he held as her own. White Dragon Slayer, but at the same time, another god slayer power mixed in. Watching Mashyuu land purple eyes traced him over, unable to help but recognize that though one held an elemental difference, they both almost had the same powers. This was sure to be interesting. It was a rare sight to see hybrid slayers much like herself.
The next power to wash over the land was powerful indeed. It even managed to give the elf girl a good case of the goosebumps, feeling that amount of energy in one place. And in came the pink haired dragon slayer herself. Hera Reyold. The girl who needed no introduction. Astrid had heard about her and her father, mostly from Elyx, as apparently the two men had been friends before Heero's untimely demise.
Blinking and realizing she might have been staring at the two for a little bit too long Astrid became somewhat bashful, using a finger to play nervously with her silver locks and turn her gaze away from them. "I-I'm Astrid Foss, of Golden Phoenix" she paused to also give them a proper bow in greeting. "It's a pleasure to meet both of you, and i hope to enjoy this good company."
Her own guild member was next, Hero. Not to be confused with the aforementioned Heero. While not being as well acquainted with him as she should be seeing as he was her guild mate, it was still nice to see a familiar face. Especially when the next two mages who arrived were ones she couldn't even recall hearing of. One of which seemed to have pointed ears much like herself. Though she doubted he too was an elf. He gave off a completely different aura than her own race, and elves were usually good about spotting their own species. Maybe he was a different species? She wasn't sure, but she guessed she would find out one way or another. She returned his wave anyway, and turn her attention to their late arrival. Their shirtless arrival. At least he apologized for being late, though maybe a shirt would have been nice. He looked... Well, rather exposed. Not that Astrid minded much, as it was socially acceptable for men to not wear shirts. But you know, the first impression was everything.
Seeing as their greetings were pretty much complete the slayer turned in place and began to follow Ard closely, unable to shake the feeling if she were to stray too far away from the group she would get stranded somewhere on this island like a child in a mall.

Mashyuu started to chuckle at Astrid, it had been some time since he met someone who bowed to him. In fact after he thought about it, that had never happened before. He furrowed his brow for a moment until Hera appeared in a lick of massive flames. Slowly Mashyuu let out a low whistle and gave her a slow clap. "That was some entrance Hera. Looking good as ever. When your ready for a date just let me know." He said while giving her a wink, ever the flirt Mashyuu only half meant everything he just said... aside for the part about the entrance. Before he could spit out any more to say, Hero and Cirven showed up. Mashyuu and Hero had done a job together once before and the God Slayer knew that the man was indeed powerful, if not a little trigger happy. "Cirven, my man! How ya been? Save any more damsels in distress?" He asked with a wide smile on his face while waving his hand at the wrist at Hero to at least show that he had seen the bald man. "Maybe but I'm sure that whatever danger is here is nothing that we as a unit can't handle. I haven't worked with everyone here...well I have. Aside from Astrid here, but everyone else. I know what we are capable of. Lets get down to brass tacks, why did you call us all here exactly?"

Once the group had assembled they all traveled with Ardere deeper into the island. Mashyuu had to admit he was curious to see what the fire king had in store for the assembled Wizards. Mashyuu's eyes lit up at the sight of the fortress and his heart skipped a beat. He had quickly come to develop a love for all sorts of structures just like the one they were looking at now. "This is awesome! We could really spruce it up....do we need to clear it out? Are there monsters in here!?" Mashyuu wondered while he looked at everyone else, a light flutter filled his chest, rarely if ever did he feel like this, only really when he met Kenna and when he had the few chances to destroy Gods and send them back to their own planes of reality.

WHAT, as if you could handle all this old timer!" she fumed angrily at Mashyuu and grabbed a hold of both of her boobs with both hands shaking them and sticking her tongue out at one of her new partners for fun.

As the entire group assembled before her; she couldn't help but to smile at Astrid's hair twirl and look away as she introduced herself. Nodding to Hero as she couldn't help but to stare. Good...LORD the moonlight reflected off of his bald head. It literally sparkled.

Comically, Hera appeared on her tippy toes just behind Hero. Inspecting his bald head up close. What does he use to shave....a magic sword...damn it's all gone! As she did this she would look over Hero's shoulder. When another of her new teammates, one with sharp features and two eyes that were actually different colors got in her face. She would only blink from the back of Hero at him and smile.

"Hmmmmmm, I dunno I think I'd remember you." she smiled honestly at him. "I'm distracted right now because....I just."

"Sorry I've just never seen someone so....bald." as she stood on her tippy toes, she put a finger to his bald head repeatedly. Her rack basically resting on his back now. "Elf-chan...you ever seen anyone so bald?" she asked Astrid without looking at her. As Ardere informed them that he'd found somewhere not out in the middle of the woods for them to talk, Hera would nod and follow with everyone else. The magical output of the group walking together was like a beacon. The walk was uneventful, as Hera was literally seen walking behind Hero and with her eyes glued to his bald head.

"Ardere....yo Unc! Uncle! This'll be you in a few years, I'm sure of it!" she jogged up next to Ardere and pat him on the shoulder. "Imagine how BADASS you'll look with all that armor and a bald head....tell em Hero, girls love it ammi right?" she strolled next to Ardere for awhile before back pedaling toward Cirven mid-walk. "So....I look familiar....you....got any knowledge of my family? Heero? Alyia? Those names ring bells? Maybe you knew one of my parents...who knows." she said as she kept walking and shrugged.

When a literal bolt of lightning just fell right in front of them, the noise alone caused Hera to spin backward with a holy shit coming from her mouth; and grabbing onto Astrid, the nearest and only other girl in their troupe by the hand. Girls always gravitated toward one another when terrified for some reason. Holding onto her hand with her rack pretty much swallowing up one of Astrid's arms, she held on tightly as Wolfe introduced himself. He was the 7th member. She wondered when they would show up. She didn't like this one....he'd scared her. Hera checked herself briefly to see if she'd pissed herself from the sound of the lightning bolt hitting the ground so close...but she was all clear.

"Damn fool......doesn't even wear a shirt." she looked up and down his chiseled body, eyes resting on his abs and belt area. Only breaking her stare when Mashyuu said they'd clear the castle if they had too. "What yea right! There won't be a castle left when I'm done!!!" Hera flexed one arm, not much of a muscle but she proudly blew a bubble that popped as she continued to walk, now between Cirven and Astrid.

The group's little stroll through Shadow Island was pretty much a silent one, at least to those who couldn't feel the tension and/or hear the sounds of beasts that moved out of the way of their path. It made the demon feel a bit like the group was on some sort of pedestal that even the beasts of the island could feel from just their presence which was a feeling and sight that Cirven was never really a part of until now. It felt somewhat weird to him though because of how their group looked. You had two pointy-eared people who gave off a look of being barely human at all, a young woman who seemed to bounce around from thing to thing like a rubber ball going from wall to wall, a armored man who looked to be wearing more armor than he needed just for a stroll through an island, a giant bald man who gave off a weird presence to him and honestly the most regular looking person in the group was Mashyuu which was saying a lot because he was not that regular at all. This is what Cirven thought anyone looking at them would think and see which made him smirk. It was a ragtag group of powerful individuals that still had no idea why they had come together technically.

Cirven's other thoughts were focused on two things; How a man could wear so much armor and not feel awkward with their movements and who exactly the energetic young woman was to him. This caused him to look back and forth between the two as they made their way to their destination which turned out to be an abandoned castle. He was looking around the area until Hera made her way up to him again and spoke of Heero and Alyia. He didn't know Heero personally but he had heard of the man a good amount in his travels and of some of his feats. Alyia on the other hand was completely different. The angel was someone he considered pretty close to him and had recently found a way into his crew in the body of another woman who she basically was a inner voice for now. "Wait..." He looked at Hera and could see what looked like Alyia a bit. "There is no way you are Alyia's kid!
She is barely twenty-one! If you are her's you must have had some type of super food that gave you the fastest growth spurt ever!
" He practically yelled out but was cut off by the sound of lightning crashing into the ground near them.

He dropped his focus on Hera who had latched onto Astrid near him and looked towards the shirtless man. "So you are with Armordere over there?" He randomly spurted out a nickname he thought of for Ardere. "That's a good thing you are because with the amount of power we have here I doubt you would have lasted long if we to fight or anything similar. Glad to see another lightning user on board, by the way." Cirven gave a quick display of his black lightning that came off of his body to show that they had a similar magic.

His ear then caught Mashyuu speaking about the possibility of having to clean out the castle area. "Clean it out? It's more like we would be redecorating the place. You know this would be what would happen after working together a few times, Rocky." He spoke out to Mashyuu calling him the nickname he had started to call him. "So why exactly are we here anyways? Is it to clean out a new vacation spot for you, Armordere? If it is,
I charge by the hour and it will probably take me around...
" Cirven looked around the castle. "Probably less than that. There are other fees too." The demon didn't know what they were there for at all but figured he'd joke around with the person who called them there or at least he was hoping he was with what he said because he didn't know if it was a true thing or not either.

Post by Ardere Kasai 3rd July 2017, 5:18 pm

As they stood before the massive castle, ridden with holes and vines alike, Ardere noticed the scent of a familiar man. Just in the nick of time, his one and only Ace showed his face. It's about time you showed up, and you're the one in my guild... He chuckled to himself, then proceeded to pat the lightning mage on the back before making his way to the entrance. Looking to the very large man in the group, he pushed open the large twin doors. Duck your head if you have to, big guy. The hero of the group was quite the titan in terms of size, and magic strength of course, but it should not be an issue in the large structure.

Astrid and Wolfe seemed to be content with their summons, but the samurai noted Mash and Cirven were the more curious ones. Hera as always, was the most energetic regardless of her opinion on the matter. As soon as we get inside, friend. I'll explain it all. As he entered the building, his eye twitched a bit at Cirven's new nickname for him. While he was not all that opposed to fun nick names, he seemed to be attracting a myriad of strange ones as of late. Even Hera jumped in on the fun, comparing him to the baldness of the gargantuan from Golden Phoenix. Sighing slightly and rubbing his neck, he smiled nervously. Noting to himself, he gritted his teeth. 'I'm not that old...' Compared to the other guild masters he was the older one, but he was still well in his prime, that much was certain.

Giving the place a good look around, bats and bugs scattered due to their entrance. Walking along, torn paintings and armaments littered the walls. It truly was a former fortress, and every good fortress had a meeting room for strategy and command. This was their destination. It would not take long to reach. There shouldn't be any monsters, at least not yet. Adjusting his sleeves a bit, the fire mage stood in front of the group. The meeting room was fit with a large round table perfect for discussion, and the table's integrity was far beyond that of most of the castle. So. As for the reason I brought you all here. Looking out to all of them, he folded his arms before speaking. All of you are pretty powerful mages, with a vast sphere of influence. I've ever met or been very well informed of all of you. But I think the most important part about you all, is that you represent your ideals so well. Each of you seems to have a different goal in life. Mine is to make the world a safer place, I'm sure some of you share the same goal. Or perhaps you wish to gain money, power, maybe even recognition. Perhaps it would be in our best interests to help each other achieve these goals, thus making the world a safer place in the process. And for those of you not so concerned with that, the missions and endeavors we would find ourselves taking on would surely meet your standards. Of course, I would also like to hear your ideas on the things mages such as us could accomplish. We may have alliances and saints, but there really is no group like the one I am proposing. We would simply be paragons. Paragons of power, and our ideals. What say you?

Wolfe turned to take a solid look at everyone one good time as Ardere patted him on the shoulder ”Yeah brother, sorry about that. I know I know… but you know me, I am never on time, but always there when you need me.” Wolfe also heard the comments from the other members of the group. He made sure to give a smirk at Hera as he spoke ”Yeah I know I might be a fool, but at least I am a good looking fool?” Wolfe made sure also acknowledge Cirven’s comment as well ”Well obviously. I would hope anyone worth their salt in a fight would have felt the power here and decided that would be a bad idea. But alas, I was also invited by Ardere and I assume he had good reason to call me here, much like all of you.” Wolfe then smirked a little at his comment about another lightning user and his quick display of his dark lightning. Wolfe re response held up his hand so his palm was about a foot in front of his face and for a second Wolfe's eyes sparked as the skin around his hand, all the way down to his elbow, disappeared to reveal a hand made of living lightning. There were no bones, blood, veins, or muscles, only moving electricity in the shape of a normal arm and hand with with moving fingers and all. Wolfe's lightning also had a dark taint to it almost exactly like Cirven's. Then just as quickly as the skin had disappeared, then skin formed over his arm and hand again and it looked normal once again. Wolfe then gave Cirven a grin to show he was also happy to see another lightning user in the group as he then turned to follow Ardere into the building. Wolfe nodded with a half bow at both Hero and Astrid as he turned past them to let them know he had acknowledged them as well and show enough respect as ignoring them would be disrespectful.

As they walked in after Ardere Wolfe took a few quick steps to land himself walked next to Mashyuu how he gave a pat on the back and a hearty handshake as they exchanged a few quick words. It was good to at least recognize at least one other mage their besides Ardere. Wolfe followed Ardere as he lead them through the hallways of this former fortress making sure to note little things here and there till finally they were all lead into a larger room where a large round table in the middle. Wolfe watched as Ardere made his way to the other side of the table and crossed his arms before he went into his explanation of why he had called all of them there. Wolfe listened intently at Ardere’s words and began to see the bigger picture of what his guild master was trying to do. He might not remember anything before only about a month ago, but in the short time he had spent with Ardere since his return and everything he could find on fill about him from RAINE Wolfe had painted a picture of someone who valued righteousness and justice above all else. This was his attempt to put together a group of powerful mages that obviously shared in his visions of these things as well, or least in some relatable fashion.

After Ardere was done speaking Wolfe walked over to Ardere and stood to next to him and as he turned to look at Wolfe he nodded and put his right hand on Ardere’s shoulder ”You know my current predicament about my memory, but it seems I left some old journal entrees in RAINE’s databanks and after listening to them and with the time I have spent with you since returning. I know I once followed you without question as it seemed my moral compass was broken as was I, and you gave me both direction and a chance to use my powers for something better than myself. So as I once did before, I feel honored to help you build this vision with you and anyone else in this group who would also stand by your side.” Wolfe knew if Ardere had picked these people, there had been a reason and he took it on the same faith he felt in Ardere that those of this group who also accepted his request would be both strong, but more importantly, great allies. Wolfe took a step back and turned to the group as he gave them a nod with a slight bow and waited to see who else would join himself in helping to build Ardere’s dream.

Comments, Concerns, Etc.: Hero charging on in!

Two other people arrived after him, which made him glad that he wasn't the only one whom was late. The man clad in red armor, Ardere, spoke briefly and invited everyone to join him at a different location deeper into the island. Along the way, there were some interesting conversations coming up, such as the fact that Hero was correct in his assumption of the red-haired woman's identity. Also, as much as it was quite difficult to hold in his expressions, the giant managed to hold it in professionally while that same woman was admiring his bald head. For the time being however, he felt it was best to remain silent and wait to arrive at the site of the group's meeting before opening his mouth, which did not take too long. The indigenous creatures of the island lingered within the trees but kept their distance. It seemed they knew this particular group was very dangerous.

A few minutes later, the team arrived upon a large castle withered by time and walked right in without delay, though Ardere did briefly talk about the history of the place. Upon walking in, the place was fortunately large enough to house Titan even though simply jumping would cause his head to hit the ceiling. Luckily there were no chairs either so Yamamoto didn't have to be the odd one out standing while everyone else sat. The reputable Wizard Saint began to speak after everyone finished walking into the large room, talking over why all of the mages here were invited. Hmm... a group that handled threats beyond the scope of the Magic Council. That sounded like a risky but interesting concept.  Hero could understand this however, considering how the Council worked. Hero spoke after Wolfe had, his voice considerably different in tone from his short introduction earlier.

"I have nothing personally to gain from this, as I came knowing that the scope of this group was going to reach far beyond our individual desires. You can count me in, Ardere, so long as you remain true to the ideals which brought us all together. For that is also by extension why I came."
