    Job:

Hands behind their heads, Elyx and Ignite were being given a free "Escort" over to visit Allison. The security of the guild was tight it seemed, anyone who claimed to be a Neutral Guild mage would instantly be given hostile treatment. Five of them were behind the both of them. The She Phoenix was clearly not happy with walking along as if they had just been arrested, and the boy could not blame her either. It would be nice if the Magic Council did not treat them like outlaws. Maybe that was what they partially were, but that didn't mean they weren't human. They were given the Rising Star position as well, what currently was wrong? Just to see Allison, sheesh, is that so hard to ask? He asked out loud before being given a shush, in which he turned his back around to give a glare. The guard flinched, but then pushed his spear further behind his back. If it weren't for the fact that he was surrounded by a whole guild that could wipe the both of them out instantly, he would give a nice beating to the guard for not even letting him speak, even though it was clear that they were allowed to. What kind of dictatorship did the guards run? It was like Shadelle all over again. Ignite looked like she wanted to stab something, her normally light orange eyes were a dark purple, her anger inside of her body. Acting helpless when she could slaughter the ones holding them hostage, it would take a snap of her fingers, but for the sake of Allison, remained silent. This was going to be a simple check in and check out before they go back to Black Rose, and if the guards dared follow them outside of their guild, they can most certainly expect a good jumping. They would be lucky to be left for dead. A smile remained on his own face however, he was not worried about anything, he knew that the guards weren't able to touch him or Ignite without reason. And they were certainly not going to give any of the guards reason either, it was not worth it, definitely not worth the trouble.

    ❊ BACK TO NEVERLAND ❊
It was only natural that after the most recent attack upon the Pheonix Mountains that security be a little tighter than it normally was. If not for the Acnolgia worshiping cult things would have been a little more peaceful in the mountain range, and more specifically the Eclipse Soul guild. Most of the guilds members had been preoccupied with reconstruction not for their guild but for their city. Karakuri City might as well have been Eclipse Soul's city considering that if not for the formation of the guild of redemption the city would be nothing more than another monk filled city. While, other members had been tasked with reconstruction, Venir on the other hand had a task that had taken up much of, if not all of her time.

"Uggggggh! This is all so confusing!" She scratched at the back of her white locks, pulling her white coat further about her. The chilly climate of the Phoenix Mountains was as cold as ever as she hiked her way back up the mountain towards her home. She had taken a break for the day, well a break from her guild masters task to assist in the reconstruction in the valley below. Luckily, Venir had made the walk up the mountain so many times that it went by rather fast, and she was significantly quicker than the average person. Enough so that she caught up with a group of guards who were making their way up the mountain at what Venir could only describe as a snails pace. "Excuse me!" Polite as ever the woman slipped through the guards, most of them recognizing the ace on sight. A few of them gave a few mutters of acknowledgement, some stuttering out a jumble of words, and only one of them tried to stop her from proceeding forward. "Why?" She questioned, voice a little louder than intended as she slipped by the guards only to see two rather familiar figures. "Elyx! Ignite!" She chirped, a smile gracing her lips after spotting the pair. It took her only a moment to realize the situation, "Oh my! Don't tell me you were escorting these two to the guild?" She sounded almost like a scolding mother, her hands on her hips as her red eyes bore holes into the guards, "That's no way to treat guests of Eclipse Soul! These two are allies and friends that have proven their worth to us, their not some petty criminals. Honestly, if not for them I probably wouldn't be here right now." A few of the guards gave muttered apologies, not wanting to upset the equivalent of their boss.

"I'll escort him from here," She frowned for a moment feeling like she might have been a tad too harsh, "You did well." She added before giving the guards a pleasant wave of her hand and a bright smile to match. With the guards dejectedly making their descent down the mountain Venir turned her attention to the Black Rose mages, "Sorry about that." She gave a quick bow of her head, this Venir was rather different than the Venir from their previous jobs. A lot had happened since then and when she was at her own guild on her own turf, Venir did have a certain image to uphold especially now thanks to her guild masters rather difficult task.

"What brings you two all the way here?"

A familiar voice forced them all to stop in their tracks, and a bright one at that. Elyx closed his eyes as he was able to recall who it was, and it was quite a pleasure to see her again, especially at this moment. Maybe the message could be given to her again, it wouldn't be fair for him not to tell her, but in private though. If the both of them were caught saying anything out loud, the assassin from Black Rose might kill the Guildmaster herself of Eclipse Soul. That member was not one Elyx would consider a member, one he told Kakuma about this, he knew she would understand what he was talking about. But for now, he remained silent except for his slight chuckle and his eyes closing as he listened to the other Ace scolding the guards behind him and the She Phoenix. The both of them placed their hands back to the sides of their bodies. Though he was rather surprised, his light brown eyes raising a little bit, he didn't know he saved someones life. Humbleness took over him, his head hanging down in embarrassment as he scratched the back of his head. Once the guards fled the scene, Ignite was the first one to react, a nasty word spouting out of her mouth, a swear one at that. The Violinist was the first to cover her mouth from that terrible mutter, hopefully Venir didn't hear such vulgar language. Ignite! No swearing! He exclaimed before looking over to the other mage, now even more embarrassed for the She Phoenix's actions. It also took him a quick amount of time to change the subject.

Hey Ven, I am the Guild Ace of Black Rose, and I came with a warning. Elyx explained before looking around to confirm that no one would be listening in on their conversation. Fortunately, he couldn't sense any magic flow near the both of them that did not belong to any of the three of them. An assassin from my guild has been confirmed to be posing as a member of Eclipse Soul. There is no bounty on you all, and it turns out, he is trying to assassinate your Guildmaster. He sent me this message, yet it has no sender. It basically explains his motives, and I guess he would expect a reward for this. This is heavily frowned upon, and I have come personally to try to track him down... But in secret, I'd rather not end up on the Sorcerers Weekly in a wrong way...

    ❊ BACK TO NEVERLAND ❊
Ignite was as rowdy as ever not that it was unpleasant. It was hard to find such open people these days, especially one's that would be open with her. Venir was by far one of the most approachable people in her guild but even then there was a certain glass barrier between her and her comrades. It wasn't just the position she held within the guild that created this barrier but a plethora of other things as well, and of course there was the new sort of barrier in which Venir had erected around herself thanks to a certain task. "It's fine, I'd be mad to if I had those guys marching me up the mountain like that!" Venir quickly interjected wanting to save the phoenix from any further scolding. She might not have cursed, or even gotten very angry at the guards, but she certainly would have been irritated enough to loudly complain to Alyia.

There was a sudden change in direction of conversation caught her attention, Elyx's voice sounding significantly more serious than it had moments ago. Enough so that she held back her little quip on already knowing that he was the ace of Black Rose. Her own visage became icy, seemingly more natural on her cold features than her warm smile had been. Though, he bore what should have been bad news the white haired mage showed no visible reaction save for mock shock as she cast a glance towards the tree's. "Is that so?" She was tense, taking a few steps towards Elyx and the phoenix, "I think it'd be best if we head into the guild. It's much warmer there." No comment yet as to his revelation, but shed be sure he'd get an earful later. To think that her very task possibly dealt with the same person in which Elyx had mentioned. What a strange coincidence, but not an entirely unwelcome one. Slipping between the Phoenix and Elyx, she grasped both their hands with her own pulling them in close, "There are lots of little birds out here in the open." Her voice was but a whisper. There may not have been any mages near but there were plenty of ways in which one might eavesdrop. Immediately she released their hands skipping a forward a few steps, a bright smile planting itself on her face once more, "Come on! You guys haven't seen my room yet!" With that she skipped off towards the direction of the rather imposing guild castle.

Time to play along it seemed, Ignite figured that part as well. Awesome! He Elyx, why don't you show her your room someday? The She Phoenix teased, knowing full well why he would not be able to do such a thing. The snowy-haired mage was not the problem, it was the fact that he purposely isolated his mansion from the world in order to make sure that he had a place he could truly call home. Besides, with all of the music stands and messy music sheets, he probably would have accidentally tripped someone who came into the room, especially if he allowed them to take off their shoes or boots, letting them walk around with socks. Such an unfortunate fate that would be. Ignite, shut up. You know why, and don't make me remind you without words now. He would answer, half-jokingly during the second part. As they were being dragged, it was like they expected, not even close to a house like Venir had made the destination seem like, but a castle sort of area. The boy smiled, it seemed quick action was going to be taken about this. If anyone were to die because of the assassin, he would have to take all of the responsibility due to him being unable to stop the murder. Black Rose would not approve of such a thing, and could even involve jail time if this sort of act were committed. The assassin wouldn't probably mind anyways, he would get what he wanted, and putting him behind the bars would just about guarantee his safety from attackers that came from Eclipse Soul. He wouldn't really be punished, which is why the boy set out to do this himself, and not get Kakuma on the case. Hey Venir, I know this is too soon of news, and for it to be one of your best friends, I know it must be hard. I'll answer any question I can and do anything I can for you to bring this to justice, you know this territory better than I do, so I ask for you to lead the way with questioning.

    ❊ BACK TO NEVERLAND ❊
The white haired mage sent the two a rather cryptic look at their own banter, temporarily breaking her act. Why wasn't she allowed to go to his room? Chopping it up nothing more than some strange Black Rose policy, Venir lead the two towards her own guild that could be just as strange when it came to outsiders. Security outside of the guild was obviously very high with the guards, but even inside the guild security was high though this was no different than it had been previously. There were countless rooms and places where even a basic member could not get access to. Visitors weren't exactly welcomed very warmly either, in fact the average member wasn't permitted to have one without permission or job purposes. Luckily, Elyx happened to be with a rather privileged member. One that happened to have access to certain parts of the guild, and leniency that other members did not receive.

    ~*~

It wasn't until they had reached a tower that Venir replied to Elyx's earlier words, quietly ushering the pair up countless flights of steps. At the top of the stairs lay a single wooden door and inside revealed Venir's rather plain room filled with nothing but necessities, a few stuffed animals, and a wall of completed job posters. "Sorry about that." She chirped shutting the door behind her, "Gotta keep the whole situation quiet while in the guild." It would do no good to alert the assassin that she knew he was there or cause any unnecessary panic, "Alyia already knew in fact I've been investigating it for sometime with no luck. However, now that you two are here I'm sure my luck will turn around!" Alyia for the time being was safe within the guild master chambers seeing as only Alyia had access to them. Not even Venir could get within those walls unless Alyia wished it. "So tell me everything you know from the beginning." She flopped down on her bed, almost comedic with how serious she looked despite the rather relaxed position she held upon the mattress curled up with blankets and stuffed animals.

So we get the VIP room now? The Violinist joked with a small smirk on his face, then sat down on the ground with his legs crossed and a smile on his face now. Lowering his left arm, he placed his knapsack down by sliding it down his arm, then let it hit the ground right next to him before opening it up, his fingers opening up in between the little opening of the bag. Once he craned his arm inside, the claw of the skill crane caught onto a triplet set of chocolate bars, one for him, one for Ignite, and one for Venir. Pulling his hand out, he would hand one over to Ignite and attempt to give Venir the chocolate bar, the choice of taking it up or not was her choice. Regardless, he listened to her explanation nodding along as he was understanding the situation. Seems like two Guild Aces trying to solve the problems of the Guildmasters, well, that was partially their role after all. The Violinist chuckled a little bit as the snowy-haired mage thought her luck might change because of them, there were times in which he felt like he was being given a little bit more credit than what he deserved. Once he was asked about what happened from the beginning, his smile grew shy as it began to fade away as it then made his lips seal in a straight form. This was serious business that they were all dealing with. His Codename is Chaos, as you may expect, he is an illusion mage. More likely than not, he would have a blue hoodie on his body, which is used to hide his face a lot. That's nothing different from how he acts in Black Rose. However, the letter he gave to me here had no send or coordinates, probably knowing it could be traced. I can tell you this much though, he's not after Alyia alone, there are many rogues with him as well due to my magic sensory. Tracking him down in the crowd is something I'm unsure about, but I know how to beat him once we find him. That's where I need your help, I need to find this man, and this area is definitely not familiar territory.

    ❊ BACK TO NEVERLAND ❊
Save for the splendid view of the Phoenix Mountains from the Aces tower, there was hardly anything VIP about her room. Everything was rather plain, but not in a bad way just in a typical sort of homey way. If anything the room seemed like it didn't get much attention, a tiny layer of dust was upon her desk and everything else was so orderly that it seemed like no one ever touched it. "Thank you!" She snatched the bar of chocolate happily, not realizing how hungry she had been until now. She munched on the sweet as she in turn listened to Elyx's story, giving an occasional nod of her head to show that she was still listening. "Well," She licked any stray remnants of the chocolate off of her fingers, "At least that means Black Rose isn't trying to assassinate Alyia. In which case Cirven would probably have to kill you." It wasn't meant to be a joke, and it was an all too serious matter. A war between their two guilds would not be a pretty outcome.

"I can only wonder what Chaos' motive for killing Alyia might be." She slipped off of her bed, scratching at her white locks as she thought over what a failed assassin from Black Rose might want with her Guild Master. In fact why would a whole group of people want her guild master dead? "So confusing." She gave up trying to figure that out and instead turned to Elyx. The master detective required her help? "Good point Eclipse Soul is pretty big." She herself knew every twist and turn like the back of her hand, while to others the large guild might have been a little overwhelming, "But you're in luck as I made a discovery the other day that I haven't had enough courage to check yet...." Being a rather old and ancient look castle there was one thing that even Eclipse Soul had acquired, a myriad of hidden passageways that even the Ace, and surely even Alyia did not know of at least not yet. Venir had found them on one of her previous investigations, in fact she was sure that passageways lead down to an almost dungeon like structure beneath the castle.

"If you'd follow me I have something cool to show you."

He smiled as his chocolate bar was accepted, the simple slip of the wrapper from between his fingers so faint, it was a rather scary. But seeing the treat being enjoyed by both her and the She Phoenix made him snicker a little bit, hopefully it was quiet enough. From there, Ven continued by saying that it was good that it was not Black Rose that was after Alyia, or that some Cirven guy would have to kill him. At this point in time threats weren't really common nowadays, though he would love to avoid as many fights as he possibly could. Come on now, don't count me short because I'm not in your guild, I can hold off well on my own as well. The Violinist complained a little bit, but nothing too annoying in his tone. Nor did he want to even chuckle in a joking way, nothing able possible genocide was humorous.

From there, Ven seemed to have thought out loud, wondering about the motivations of Chaos. His deduction skills had an idea, but to prevent any further discussion about this and leading to possibly false conclusions, the boy decided to zipper his mouth until he was exposed to the truth. The both of them had two parts of a whole to this puzzle, Venir with location and experience of Eclipse Soul, Elyx with experience with Chaos and possibly the rogues that were brought with him. What caused him to shoot his light brown eyes open was the fact that there was apparently something she discovered that she never quite looked over, and the Violinist was the first person that would be shown this? Well that was rather unfortunate, so much was being exposed to him, didn't she fear about anything a bounty hunter could do with this data? He meant in general though, Elyx would never take advantage of someones kindness. All right, lead the way Ven. The bounty hunter asked with Ignite stepping right beside him, just about as interested as he was for this discovery that was made. Maybe it was something useful for them all to use, or maybe it was just some Eclipse Soul secret. The fact that the both of them would be exposed to it though was rather exciting.

    ❊ BACK TO NEVERLAND ❊

Slipping off of her bed, Venir shed off both the blankets and her white coat no longer chilled from the journey up to the guild. While, the outside climate was cold year around it was almost always cozy within the guild walls, lacrima heating the building and its inhabitants year around. With coat discarded the white haired mage was clad in in a dark sweater, shorts, and her usual red pendant hung about her neck. "This way!" She chirped once more leading the pair out of her room and down the long, descending flight of stairs. Opening the door that lead out of her tower, the ace peaked around, looking to the left and then to the right for any people. "All clear." She motioned for them to follow again.

    Click, clack, click, clack

Save for the clacking of her tall heeled boots against the worn stone floors, Venir was uncannily quiet as she lead them through her guild. Its large size could have housed countless mages but walking through the empty halls made it seem rather ghost like. "Right turn." She was more or less talking to herself, as if saying the directions out loud might help her remember where she was going. She made another sharp right this time taking them down one of the older corridors in the castle, one that clearly not many had walked down in some time. There were a few tables here and there, decorated with things of the past or long lost items whose owners had forgotten where they placed them. Suddenly, Venir halted the clacking of her heels ceasing. Before them lay nothing but a wall, the corridor seemingly a dead end.

    "I hope you're ready."

Dead serious the mage turned her red gaze back towards the wall, taking a deep breath before prodding at the stone. Until, one of the stones slid in and the wall shook as it moved. "This one is just a dead end." The wall had opened to reveal a continuation of the path, a secret passageway of sorts. "However, after going through the guild there seems to be countless passageways that lead to places that they shouldn't." Venir had yet to find one that lead to the guild masters chambers but she was sure that the assassins were looking for one just as hard as she had been. "I suspect that this is how they're moving about the guild, and that their base of operations is in the largest structure of hidden passages." It was at this point that Venir frowned clearly not enthralled about where she believed the assassins to be lurking.

So this was how they were moving along, Venir certainly found quite the secret. If Chaos were here, and that many rogues were located in here as well, it made him wonder who else was in here. His head was tilted to the side as he looked over to the innards of the passages, his smile beginning to show his teeth. So this is where he could possibly be hiding. I can sense magic flow, we best be careful. Black Rose mages don't exactly fight in frontal combat, fighting from behind is more of our style. He explained before entering the scene, Ignite following right behind him. Her body gave off a nice dark orange glow for light, which was good since they needed to see, but it was bad since any enemies could try to use that light to differentiate them all from the three of them. Footsteps echoed as they were to walk through, it was so silent in this dark passageway. Along the path, they would have to deal with a few forks, this was a nice security system that did not even cost a jewel. Instead, all they had to do was get their victims get lost, then have them die a natural death. If he were correct, they would most likely die due to hunger or thirst. Sadly, there was a third option. It was so silent in here, if the victims get caught so far into the cave and spend about three or four days in it, they might eventually begin to go insane. Insanity makes people do things they shouldn't do for the sake of survival, and sadly, they might resort to putting themselves out of their misery if they were that insane. Suddenly, more footsteps could be heard along a fork sort of path. There was no time to sense the air, a choice had to be made now if they wanted to escape. Dang it! To the right! NOW! He ordered as his soles clicked with the ground heavily and made their way to the right cave. Wrong choice, the enemy was there, and now they were trapped... Unless they were willing to fight...

She knew he was from Black Rose yet somehow she always found herself rather shocked when he talked about it. Not to mention she still had a rather tough time wrapping her head around Elyx of all people being some sort of sneaky assassin, bounty hunter. Between him and Ignite there was hardly anything covert about their magic. Still, she supposed he knew more about how assassins might work and act than she did. Considering she herself hadn't even explored the passageways she didn't bother leading the way in and instead lead Elyx take the lead in this one. Ignite's glow was a welcomed one, lightning the way through what appeared to be a never ending corridor filled with various forks, and twists and turns. "I hope you're memorizing where we're going." She had lost track a few forks ago, and she no longer had much of a sense as to where they might be within the guild anymore. It did feel as though they were gradually descending, as if they were now almost beneath the guild. "I'd rather not be stuck down here." She shuddered at the thought, down in the dark with nothing but the occasional scurrying rats? Well, she would have Elyx and Ignite with her but that wasn't much of a comfort.

For a while there was nothing but the sound of their boots upon the cold stone floor, but soon the sounds of others footsteps echoed down the corridor. Giving a small squeak Venir followed after Elyx making the hard right as he had suggested. As both he and Ignite stopped, Venir nearly ran into the pair unsure as to why they would stop if their enemies happened to be in the corridors as well. It wasn't until she peered around the taller mages that she realized that their enemies were already there. "Oh no." She turned around at the sound of more footsteps, a group of people appearing behind them. "Looks like we're surrounded." She breathed out taking a step back so that her back met with Elyx and Ignite's, "I got the back group." Most of them seemed to be....villagers from Kakakuri City! She didn't give it much thought figuring she'd attack now and question them later.

Looks like we get the ones in the front. The boy explained to Ignite, his smile finally revealing all of his teeth. The attackers were all attempting an assault from all sides, which might have been effective against the correct enemies. Unfortunately for them however, they chose to deal with two Guild Aces and a She Phoenix, and though they were able to outnumber, the fact that they heavily lacked in power was going to be their downfall. It was quite a treat for him to have his Violin in his grip already, now all he had to do was play it. Minor problem with that however... He was going to have to see his left hand. The Violin required two arms and hands to be able to be played. An expert Violinist doesn't need to see their right hand, but a powerful one doesn't need to see either. Elyx may have been able to use his right hand without looking, but that only gave him access to four notes. Little he was used to the dark, but this time, as he placed the bow on the string gently, avoided the bridge to increase intonation, and avoided placing too much weight onto the bow, and his fingers may have not been placed exactly where they needed to be, but he was able to manipulate the air in the cave to work in his favor. Wind Lerale... Air Lock! And with that, the air swarmed in front of his group, causing them to be trapped in a bubble of air. Eventually, they would all begin to suffocate on the very air that they breathe and be knocked out. This spell shouldn't kill them though, only child would die due to this spell, and none were present in this case. As the bubble tried to rise, it kept on slamming against the ceiling, inflicting a bit more damage and shaking up the enemies trapped in it. Seems like they won't be moving for a while. And Ignite wasn't even needed either. Good, her fire would have brought lot more attention onto them, and though they lost a bit of stealth, they didn't set off any sort of alarm or give any big signal.

Snapping the charm off of her bracelet, the little item formed into her usual staff. It was slightly larger in her adult form, the golden star still glinting in the poor lighting, and the white wings on either side of the star were slightly larger. Her familiar card holster appeared on her leg though it was not in its usual frilled garter belt but rather a dark leather holster. It would appear that even small details of her magic would change depending upon her form. Quickly she slipped out two cards from her holster, knowing the feel of each card by heart. She had known how her magic worked, what each card did even when she didn't have any memories. She supposed that somethings in this world transcended the mind's knowledge, apparently her ability to use her magic was one of those unexplainable things. Placing the two cards upon her staff Venir took a deep breath. These were villagers of a city just outside of the Eclipse Soul guild, she couldn't harm them at least not permanently, and killing was never an option when it came to Venir. It limited her options to only a few things, she couldn't exactly bring out her sword as that could seriously harm them. Which meant that she'd have to do this the hard way.

The cards absorbed into her staff with their usual flash, and a moment later Venir sprung into action. "Shoot!" Little balls of pink energy flew from the tip of her staff, hitting various villagers but not hard enough for them to be seriously harmed. Not giving them a moment of reprieve Venir dashed forward, "The Dash" assisting her with its speed. She may not have a sword at her disposal but her staff was made of a rather curious but sturdy metal.

    ~*~

"Ah who knew my staff could be used like a baseball bat?"

Venir huffed and puffed from the effort, leaning over hands on knee's. Numerous lumps decorated the villagers heads, some of them having the indents of a star upon their foreheads. She picked through the lot of them trying to find one conscious enough to question, apparently she had forgotten about her companions and their own enemies in which they had to deal with.

The air was making sure that the people didn't breathe. The way the barrier worked was that is keep all of the current oxygen inside of it, while forcing all other amounts of oxygen out. They all shared that supply of air to breathe, then their bodies will end up bringing out Carbon Dioxide. Eventually, they will replace the barrier with carbon dioxide, and they will end up passing out due to the fact that they have no oxygen in their system for quite a while. Great interrogation system, but like every great human to ever exist, the thought never occurred in his mind. There was the tool in front of him, but he was unable to use it. No one was perfect, no matter how much power they had. The Violinist was a minor example of that, though there were probably many better examples of that. Instead, he turned his back over to Venir, Ignites body following his gaze as he saw her tugging onto the knocked out bodies of the ones that she knocked out. It looked good a reputation, considering how he did not witness how she beat them down, but the fact that there were so many of them lying down on the ground. Seems like we might have brought a bit of attention onto ourselves. Can you explain what you're doing before we try to make a break for it? There is probably backup on the way, especially with my swirling barrier of wind. I can guarantee that it will not die down before they come, they'll know something is up. Elyx explained before walking up to her from behind, placed his hands behind his back, then leaned his body forward before turning his head to the side, so that he would be looking to her. A puzzled expression was on his face, he had no clue that what she was doing was much more beneficial than anything he ever did to contribute to the current job that they were in. His mouth was small and collected with this face, no expression other than question could be shown in it if one were to check real closely.

    Snap, Snap, Snap

Venir snapped her fingers at one of the the unconscious villagers, and then proceeded to none to gently shake him. Finally, startled eyes opened up wide and focused on the red eyes of Venir. "E-Eh!? W-Where am I!?" The man began, quaking in Venir's grasp as she held him by the collar of his shirt. His confused exclamation was met with an equally confused ruby stare. The man glanced around, clearly trying to figure out where he was, and more importantly why he was there, and why his head hurt so badly. It took a few moments for even Venir to figure out why these villagers were here, some of them she recognized on on sight alone. Once she realized it she immediately let the man go, apologizing for any harm she had brought upon him as well as requesting a rather large favor.

"You know who I am right? Good. You're in Eclipse Soul right now. I need you to gather these guys up and get out of here as quickly as possible."

The sound of wind finally caught her ears, meaning that the two mages didn't have very long till enemy reinforcements showed up. "Just a little interrogating. I think they might have put the villagers under some sort of spell to get them to fight for these assassins...Don't worry nothing like a little head trauma to clear up a spell that effects your mind." She sounded almost too pleased about that. The sound of more footsteps approaching down one of the halls however got her moving, "Right! Get away time!" It would do neither of them any good to fight in the closed corridors where the enemies had the field advantage. Grasping both Elyx and Ignite's hands she took off at full speed willing to drag them if necessary. She had made a sharp turn around one of the many corridors in the elaborate tunnel system but a sudden cracking beneath her feet made her pause and glance down just in time to see the ancient stones falling down into an apparent chasm, bringing the mage and possibly her two companions down as well.

    "Ahhhh!"

Interrogation! Ven had a good point in this case, maybe that was the better method to go about for this situation. Those who were trapped in the Air lock might be able to answer some questions. But then again, like he had said before, there was not enough time to stay here any further. Elyx placed his body back up before nodding one time, willing to give her a bit of time, though admittedly, he was a little bit anxious about the current situation. Fortunately for him, though a bit to his surprise as well, Ven gripped both the wrists of the Violinist and the She Phoenix, attempting to make a grand escape alongside them. Neither of them were able to get the correct footing in time to help support Venir while they were all running, which must have felt bad. Ignite was smiling though, it seemed she was enjoying herself, and that made him feel warm inside as well. A sudden crackle broke off that small moment before the boy realized what was going on. A trap! Shoot! He exclaimed loudly, his voice echoing throughout the ruins in order to bring the attention of all the other enemies towards them, just to add a bit of salt to the wound. He, naturally, didn't mean to do that, but regardless of his intentions, that was what he most likely did. Too late to turn his back now, unless there was another noise to make a distraction elsewhere in the ruins, they were probably going to have to face some heavy resistance later on. As the floor below them was crumbling, the little amount of reaction time among the group was wasted with panic. When the ground no longer below them, the boy felt the tips of his fingers slip against the edge of the ground remaining. Sadly, to no avail, he fell along with Ignite and Venir... The fall was not going to be pretty, and he couldn't prepare to cushion it either since he needed to see his Violin. This might be the place to seal his coffin... I'm sorry... Adrelissa... He thought to himself before closing his eyes, not even making any yell for help. If he were going to die, he will do it with acceptance.

Unfortunately, it would appear that Venir had indeed managed to drag both Ignite and Elyx down with her. There seemed to be nothing but darkness beneath them, a never ending chasm but that couldn't have been possible. There had to be a bottom to the chasm, though it was clearly quite a ways down if she couldn't see it. Of course with Venir's great luck a stray falling stone had managed to hit her just right in her head, it had to have been some sort of divine retribution for hitting those men earlier. Still, the stone had hit just right so that all Venir felt was the weightless feeling of falling, and all had went black.

    ~*~

    Warmth

It was the first feeling that Venir registered through the throbbing of her head, and the ache in her body. She felt almost dazed and sleepy, perhaps a bit delirious, yet she was rather comfortable nestled up against what she could only describe as a ball of warmth that felt almost like her bed, "Just a few more minutes Alyia. I'm not a kid!" She grumbled, hand reaching out as if to swat at Alyia, her face pressing into that oh so pleasant warmth. However, her hand made contact with something that was most certainly not her guild master, it was far too soft. Instinctively, she squeezed trying to discern just what it was that she was grasping, a stuffed animal maybe? Slowly, but surely the mage was becoming more conscious and much more aware. A searing pain through her head which made her seethe in pain, and recall her fall. As well as realize that she was not in her bed...

"Oh no then...." She gulped, realizing just what it was that she was snuggled against, and what she might have been grasping. Her only comfort was that she couldn't hurt worse than she was already hurting but that didn't save her from the mortifying embarrassment. "I'll just pretend to still be asleep..." However, by then she had already retracted her hand, clearly somewhat awake. At least it would take their enemies some time to get down there safely unless they wanted to risk the free fall as well.

If there was one thing about darkness that he was never able to understand, is that it normally gave the impression of darkness. The reason why he was unable to understand it was due to the fact that he had heard of rumors that when you have died, you would be seeing some sort of light. Then again, those cases were due to those who recovered from CPR, which was not technically a death. Their heart was not pumping blood all right, but the brain was still alive since there was still a certain amount of remaining oxygen in it. So here he was, surprised to be alive, a slight groan escaping from his lips as he was able to stand back up. The area the both of them were in was dark, quite hard to determine exactly where they were. How... How long were we asleep? Ignite? Ven? The boy called out the best he could do, only for a bit of blood to be coughed from his mouth. His body felt terrible, the rocky ground below him ripped a bit of his jacket open, but no further, which meant his body was protected, but due to the impact, things might not function too well for the first few moments. His eyesight was slightly off key as well, but he looked forward through the darkness to see Venir doing something she probably shouldn't be doing... Was Ignite asleep?

Ignite in the meantime was in fact, sleeping soundly. A gently chuckle would be emitted from the She Phoenix as Ven was mistaking that part of her body as something else, fortunately, her waking was slow. Her light orange eyes were slowly opening, and then shot up quickly as she felt a hand on her, and the fact that it was somewhere it shouldn't be, that made things much worse. Perverted little bandit! She exclaimed towards the unknown assailant as her right palm filled itself with fire. Venir lucked out however, the palm ended up hitting the only other human shield, Elyx jumped in the middle of the strike to prevent it from hitting their partner. Sadly, he was sent spinning with his body on fire before coming in contact with the wall, an explosion right after the fact. ...Ow... Heavily injured, but at least Ignite didn't hurt the Eclipse Soul mage. Whoa! Sorry! I thought I felt someone touching me... Er... Inappropriately... I guess I was just imagining it... She explained, not getting the full story, and things were okay like that. The She Phoenix slowly walked over to the halfway broken Elyx to pull him up onto his feet, his head resting on her shoulder. The her eyes looked over to Venir. Looks like we lost our navigator, we're going to need you to get up out of here. The way Elyx is right now... I doubt he can even walk on his own.

    ❊ BACK TO NEVERLAND ❊

In the back of her head she could hear Elyx calling out to her and Ignite but she didn't dare move a muscle as the she phoenix began to stir. At Ignite's words Venir visibly paled bracing herself for the worst. She knew the Phoenix could pack quite the punch, literally. However, not a single hit came Venir's way but she was sure she had heard someone else get hit. In the process of punching Elyx, Venir had more or less rolled off of Ignite, and to the side. It was there that she faked a yawn as if she had just woken up. "What's going on?" She asked sleepily, sending out a silent prayer for Elyx. Her head was still pounding, and a few scratches/bruises decorated her alabaster skin but overall she could have been much worse. Between the three of them Ignite seemed the most unaffected by their free fall. On the other hand Elyx seemed to be in the worst condition, the punch from earlier clearly not helping.

    "Are you okay!?"

She scrambled up to her feet, pausing for a moment to retain her balance as a wave of dizziness washed over her. Rushing over to Elyx and Ignite, the latter holding up the former. "That's not good! I might have something that can help though." She dug through her card holster pulling out a card, and showing it to Ignite. The card was well worn, like all of her cards, but on the face of it a red cross was depicted on it, along with the words, "The Heal" written in an ornate scrawl. She held her hand out, her staff coming to her side, and placed the card upon the golden star. "I'm not sure how much this will help." She admitted as the card was absorbed with a small flash of white light. Putting all of her concentration into it the white haired mage held up her staff so only the tip of the star poked at Elyx's head. A soft but warm light emanated from it but before long it disappeared,

"I think it might have healed a scratch or two..."

Elyx was groaning a softly as his eyes were half closed, that last hit played quite a number onto him. Fortunately, there were currently no surrounding enemies that wanted them dead, so they would be able to handle the walking without him being too much of a shackle. If the other enemies wanted to make the same fall and sleep for the next few hours, they were more than welcome to. But for the three of them, they were going to play their cards a little bit better than they just did before. The fact that Venir tried to heal him, regardless of how much other pain he felt, it was the thought that made the boy grin just a slight bit. Two miner burns on his right arm were no longer hurting him any further, and they were itching as well, and if he were to try to relieve it, he would have felt much more pain anyways. Ignite did her best to keep him up, remembering his training to help a fallen victim who can barely walk. Put their arm over yours and let them put their weight on yours, that was the most effective method to avoid hurting a conscious person while they were barely able to walk.

Thank you Venir, lets press on forward. You think you can do it Elyx? The She Phoenix asked before looking down to him. He replied with just simply a nod of his head as he closed his eyes, trying to get a little bit more rest. That was the key to recovery after all. Ignite smiled as he saw him beginning to gently sleep, and to help him further, she bent down and put all his weight on her back, giving him a piggyback ride before standing up again with him on her back. His gentle breaths could be heard as his head was on her shoulder. It was adorable for her to hear,no matter how many times she woke up just to hear that in the morning. It was something that she could figure out, how come sleeping made people seem adorable? That's the not the point right now though, so she shook her head before looking over to Venir.

    ❊ BACK TO NEVERLAND ❊

At the least Elyx didn't seem to be on the brink of death, and a few of the burns on his arms had healed up rather nicely. Of course he still wasn't in any condition to walk. If anything it seemed as if he was slipping back into unconsciousness. "Wow that was a pretty bad fall, I guess Ignite and I are fairly lucky or Elyx is terribly unlucky." The thought ran through her throbbing head, not quite as chipper as she had been before. Venir was going to offer to help carry Elyx, not that she could have done much in her petite form but as always Ignite seemed to be a walking wonder. "I keep forgetting how strong you are." Venir wasn't sure if she could give Elyx a piggy back ride, not necessarily because she was lacking in strength but rather it was the size difference. Even in her older form, Venir was awfully short enough so that if she were to try to give anyone a piggy back ride, she'd probably topple over.

"I suppose I'll lead the way."

At long last Venir finally cast a glance around their surroundings, none of it seeming familiar. At first it seemed like some sort of large underground cavern but at closer inspection Venir realized that this also had to be a part of the guild. The floor was made of stone bricks, as well as the walls, and there were stone pillars that grew into the darkness above. There were even light lacrimas on some of the pillars so Ignite wasn't the only source of light within the cavernous like hall. "I wonder if this might have been the original guild hall or perhaps....."She eyes the manacles hanging from some of the pillars, "A dungeon?" She shuddered as she lead the way until the sound of voices caught her ears. Following the voices, Venir crept onwards until a door came into view. It wooden and ancient, so old that there were rusted iron bars on the window of the door. "Shhhhh." Venir held a single finger up to her lips, to indicate to the phoenix to be silent. Standing on the very tips of her toes, Venir was just able to see the inside of a room filled with a few people, one of them standing at the head of a table lecturing the others.

Ignite followed Ven through the hallways and other scenes, but did not pay any sort of attention to them as they were traveling. The She Phoenix was worried about the one she knocked out just recently, she honestly thought someone was trying to sexually grab her, so she just reacted. The reason why she was able to confirm that Elyx was not the one who did it was due to the fact that if he wanted to try something, he would have done it a long time ago while she was still dumb and had no idea what lust was. But instead, he raised her to be smart and understand what areas that a man should never touch on a woman. Instinct and teachings took over from that point. It did seem like no one else could have done it, maybe her vision was too blurry when she woke up. The She Phoenix shook her head to knock her away from the thoughts of those possibilities. That was not the relative topic at hand as of this current moment. Fortunately, Ven was able to catch her into the real world again when told to be silent, which she did obey. Unfortunately, Elyx was on her back, so she was unable to look up to where Venir was standing. Talking was still an option, provided the She Phoenix decided to keep her voice low while she did it. Ven, what do you see up there? Is there anything that we can heal Elyx with? The She Phoenix asked as she looked upwards, but remained in place. Her voice slightly echoed, but that was why she kept it in a whisper. Hopefully it would only be Venir that heard her voice. Anything would seem to work at this point, just as long as it serves a bit of use? Information? Medicine? Anything at all to benefit us, or make the enemy suffer? The She Phoenix pressed, there was nothing else that she could do anyways, except for maybe looking around, but what good would that do? So instead, she decided to just watch the other mage from below and ask questions that more than likely have no answer.

"Well, I think I see our guy....There's a ton of other people in there. I think he's lecturing them or telling them to do something...."

She kept her post at the door for a moment or two longer before realizing that there was no other exit in that room save for the one that her and Ignite stood at. "We need to move I have an idea..." Venir slipped away from the door, the voices within beginning to stir. Moving quickly but quietly Venir lead Ignite around a corner just as the old oaken door creaked open. "Whew..." She breathed out, peeking around the corner to watch the flood of lackey's leave. Once they were out of sight Venir let loose another breath of air in clear relief. "I think it'd be best if we leave Elyx here..." The little tucked away corner wasn't exactly her first choice but bringing Elyx into the room where the traitor was would be more of a hindrance than a help. "That guy should still be in there, he sent the others out to go looking for us. I have no doubt that if we give his butt a good kicking the others guys won't mess with us anymore." Just double check she peeked around the corner once more; the coast was clear.

Once more she dashed as quietly as she could around the corner, back pressed to the wall as she edged closer to the oaken door, occasionally checking to make sure Ignite was with her. Staff gripped tightly in her hand, Venir grasped the door handle with her free hand, "1, 2, 3." She whispered and on three she pulled the door open, startling the traitor within. He sat at his desk, various papers scattered about it. Upon first glance Venir did not recognize him but after staring some more she did somewhat recognize him. She had only seen him in passing glances while at the guild, he had always been a distant member in his short time there. Enough so that he had even managed to elude Venir's attention, the very woman who prided herself on knowing every single members name by heart.

"It appears that I've been caught...You don't honestly think you two can stop me? Surely, you must want your Guild Master dead! You can take her place afterwards! What do you say huh? Let me kill her and in exchange you'll have control of an entire guild!"
