Stop that Traitor Person...Thing...Err..What?

It was early morning and Wolfe was sitting in the guildhall at one of the tables with his normal ten plus plates of of food sitting in front o him. He had a small metallic object in his hand that was projecting a hologram of his AI, RAINE, as she explained the curtain status of his current projects as well and the current news that was known around Fiore. Wolf was taking bites of food with his other hand as he listened to the little project talk. He was well into his plates as six of them were pushed to the side and cleaned off with not even a crumb to be found on them.

It was now two days after the big Halloween event here at Infinity Hydra, and the place had calmed down a lot now that it was over. Wolfe looked around for a second and noticed the spots he had set up his mini Tesla-Coils for the event, which he since taken down. However, the other equipment was still up and he was going to soon be putting RAINE into full action on for the guild soon. This guild was new to him, but he had a feeling he was going to be just fine here, maybe even better than fine.

In the meantime he was going to have to pick up a job soon to get himself into the swing of things, but not before he finished his food. So he brought back his attention to the small hologram lady and eating as he then started to ask RAINE to run a scan of the hall and locate all the other areas he would need to drop one of her devices so she would be able to project over 100% of the guildhall so she could perform her job, and also to find all the book in the library and cont them so they could find a good system to transfer all that info into her system for the same purpose. Wolfe already had an idea, but knowing how many was still a good idea. Wolfe was so involved in his thoughts and food he was oblivious to what and who was around him.

Wolfe took his time as he finished his full meal of 11 plates and got all the basic stuff he needed done with RAINE as he stood up and took a look around. The guildhall area he was in was actually pretty quite right now as he looked around. Which he couldn't complain, as quite meant there were no issues, and no one could complain about that. Wolfe put his tablet in his pocket of his pants and turned and started to make his way out of the main are of the hall. Since today was a slow day he was thinking of finishing the last few machines needed for RAINE and maybe even searching the area for a hidden treasure of a home. He needed to get his stuff here and get it unpacked so he could get back onto his project and finish his motorcycle.

As Wolfe slowly made his way closer to the main door the sweet silence was broken by the sounds of loud voices on the other side of the door. He wasn't sure what was going on, but it was probably nothing important and he he paid it no mind as he pushed open the doors and passed out of the guildhall and into a huge mess.

It took only second for Wolfe to realize he was wrong, very wrong. Something was up and it was most defiantly and issue of some sort. There was a mob out here and it was getting bigger every few seconds. As Wolfe looked around he noticed they were starting to notice him and were starting to yell at him. Wolfe took a step back with a shocked look on his face, but realized quick that he needed to stop what ever was happening and stop it now. Wolfe spoke out "WOAH WOAH!!! what is going on here and why is everyone going crazy?!?!" It took less then a second for him to be swallowed by the yelling and screaming of the mob saying all kinds of things. He was only able to make a few things out with all the yelling, but it seemed  someone had been making their way through town and been doing something bad, something enough to stir up a crowd, no not a crowd, but a mob. Wolfe wasn't sure what he was going to do next as they all seemed to have their eyes peering him down. As he was the new guy it would be easy to pin it on hi, so this was most likely not going to end well, and pretty quickly too. In all the confusion he didn't even see his fellow guild mate Tyriel as she was also standing just outside the door.

Wolfe wasn't sure what to do as he stood there, but his attention was then shifted from the mob to his guild mate as he heard her voice, and turned to look at her. He remembered her from the other night as the witch, Tyriel was her name and she was an Ace of of the guild, and a fellow B rank mage like himself. He listened as the crowd made comments about the guild being a dark guild and then as Tyriel made her pleas that the guild was nothing like that. Wolfe knew it was nothing like a dark guild as well. Ardere had instilled i him the goals of Infinity Hydra, and what he had hoped to accomplish with the guild, and right now the part about protecting family and guild was on the top of that list.

Wolfe watched as Tyriel made a shield using a magic that very much resembled archive, but at the same time seemed very different and used it to create a wall between the mob and her, making sure the door to the guild was behind her. However, he didn't have time to think much over it as the mob made a move and went to attack her and again the he watched as she fell to her knees. Wolfe could see in her eyes as she tried to hold her magic and how she seemed to almost get lost in moment like it was maybe too much. The thought started to get to him and with each passing second arc of electricity started to erupt from Wolfe. With each second the arcs became larger and started to crackle, and the closer mob people started to take notice and turned to look at him. After a few moment most of the mob was now looking at Wolfe as full out arcs of lightning were shooting out from his body and then *BOOOM* as a lightning bolt came crashing down from the sky and hit Wolfe were he was standing, causing all the people to jump back a few feet and back he now had their full attention "NOW LISTEN HERE!!! i will ot stand by and watch you attack her or anyone else like this. I am new here and i know i don't know this land well or this town, but i assure you this is no dark guild, or i wouldn't be here. If there is an issue then we will discuss this like adults. I refuse to believe that if something is wrong that it was our fault, and if it was then you better believe we will find out who, and why, and we will fix the problem..... mobbing this woman is not how you fix a problem!! Now please take some order and explain to me what is wrong and how it can be fixed..." Wolfe walked up so he was standing in front of her wall and between her and the mob as he slowly calmed down and the arcs of lightning faded away "i am sorry i did what i just did but i needed you all to stop and pay attention to me. Now i beg you, please come forward and talk to me and explain what is wrong. However, please give me one second to help my guild mate." Wolfe then turned and looked at Tryriel on the ground. The mob seemed to finally snap out of their blood lust as they gained some sense of decency.

Wolfe then without even a second though phase stepped and appeared on the other side of her wall and walked up to her and picker her up him his arms and carried her over to one of the chairs to the side and slowly placed her on the chair as he knelt down next to her "Hey. Are you ok Tyriel? please just take a second and calm down here. I will talk to them and figure this out and then we can talk and figure out what to do. I promise i wont let them hurt you or anyone else here. ok?" Wolfe gave her a smile and a nod as he turned and walked back to the group and started to discuss with the what had happened.

It didn't take long before he noticed a trend between their stories. Someone with the Infinity Hydra guild mark had made their way to the town and had been making a mess for everyone and making sure they all thought this was the guild's fault. After a few Wolfe calmed the group and asked them to wait there while he talked things over with  his guild mates so they could figure out how to deal with the issue.  Wolfe turned back to look at Tyriel waiting for her to gather herself before he would hit her with the information.

Wolfe gave Tyriel a few minutes to gather herself before he had the crowd calm down and wait over to the side as he came back over to her. As he reached her he looked down at her as spoke to her "Ok, well as it looks.... we have a traitor... i know i am new here, but my suggestion would be for these people to stay here at the guildhall while we investigate. Since this person or persons can be anyone, i suggest check each of them as they pass, and since they are here, the traitor can't use them against us. Plus it will make sure they are safe. Besides that, i leave this up to you. You are an Ace, and therefor the hand that leads us. I know you were just surprised before, so it just got to you. I will join you and help take these traitors down. Think of me as your weapon so to say. Also, i promise to let no harm come to our Ace." Wolfe smiled as her as he offered her his hand to help her off of the chair in a gentlemanly fashion.

Wolfe then walked over and started talking to each person and asking them a few key questions to make sure they were who they said they were. He listened to their heart rates, and the flow of electricity that surged through every person to see if either increased during the answering of his questions.

After he and a everyone else was done with them he turned to Tyriel to let her make the final choice about what to do with the common town folks while they went after these damn traitors. After she agreed Wolfe help lead them into the main hall area and had them all take a seat and explained that himself and his Ace Tyriel would take care of the issue personally and be back ASAP.

Wolfe then left the room and met with Tryiel again "Ok, you lead the way into town and i have your back. i promise i will give this my all." Wolfe gave her a slight bow as he smiled at her.

Wolfe walked around a bit as he looked over all the people before he made his way back to Tyriel. As he walked up he noticed her using her magic again, and once again he took notice of how it was like archive, but at the same time wasn't. Wolfe saw that she was obviously watching a scene of an office and there was something else on the screen. Wolfe was trying not to pry, so he waited till she made her way down the stairs and said something about them still being not too far. Wolfe walked up to her "Ok Tyriel, 2 things, yes lets get going, and as soon as your ready i can take you to town..... Trust me, i can move really quick, so it will be our best way to get there ASAP. Second, if you don't mind me asking. Your magic, it is very much like Archive, but i know archive magic very well, however, it is also very different at the same time. What is it? and to sweeten the pot, i would like to show you something when we get back. Based on your magic, i think you might like it." Wolfe smiled as he walked outside and when she was ready he picked her up and started to phase step with her in his hands.

The phasing was normal for Wolfe now, but it would be an interesting feeling for Tyriel. Once they had made their way to the outskirts of the city Wolfe stopped and let Tyriel down as he looked around. As he looked around he thought about how they should proceed. At this point they had to assume there was at least 2 people involved, the traitor, who could be a man or woman and then at least one other of the opposite sex since there were claims of both causing issues. This then brought into light 2 more questions. If there were more., how many? and the big question obviously, which is why? Which both questions stumped Wolfe personally. From what he knew this guild was fairly new compared to the others he knew of, so what would cause someone to become a traitor, and if they went traitor.... was it to another guild, cause that could bring all kinds of new issues with it. The most important right now being that 2 people could turn into 20 or 30 real quick.

Wolfe turned to Tyriel to let her call the shots. He didn't care how they went about this, but he only had 2 goals. To stop the traitor and anyone with them, and to protect Tyriel. He knew she could protect herself, and it wasn't because he thought she was weak. It was because she was an Ace, and that meant she was important, and that meant Wolfe would protect her from anything.

Her attention was brought to Wolfe as he said two things, one being that he could get them into town quickly. She nodded her head in agreement, and the second shocked her quite a bit, causing her eyes to get wide. It was true, her magic was no typical Archive. She exhaled and looked at the man, he seemed to know quite abit about archive as it was. " There is legend, that all magic derived from ONE magic... Well.. My magic certainly isn't that ONE magic. But it is just as ancient. My magic was the beginning of all Archive and Script Magic. " She said as she crossed her arm's and continued, " Once used and taught by advisers to royalty, my magic was passed down and taught in secret. It has been and forever will be sought out by dark guilds to use against the Magic Council. " She just stared at the younger man, realizing she gave away too much as it was. Now, she was strong enough now to be able to stop anyone from seeking her out ever again. She allowed him to pick her up and carry her as he flashed into town. Her eyes gaped open and she let her hand seek him out to grasp onto his clothing hard. Her heart wouldn't stop beating so fast and she came to the sudden realization that they now stood within town. That really was fast. Her cheeks flared a deep red as he let her down, her grip on his shirt releasing. She smoothed out her hair, letting it fall behind her shoulders and she studied the area. Out above them she seen smoke rising from a building and smelt burning in the distance. That was their best bet. She pointed it out to Wolfe and sprinted forward, they had to get there in time, everything was riding on their shoulders at this moment. The trust of Infinity Hydra. Her eyes grew determined as she sprinted forward through the town. The village wasn't HUGE but it was no small town either. Big enough for a renegade traitor to hide within it's walls.

Wolfe listened as Tyriel explained her magic to him. He had never heard of any of this before, but it made sense. Archive had to have some sort of origin, and most magic was based on a more powerful, primal, and extensive version of itself. Most of the magic wielded by mages today was watered down versions of what they once were. For one reason or another a lot of it was lost to time, and considered forbidden and locked away. Take Wolfe's magic for instance. Even though other lightning mages existed out there, and even the lightning slayers were around, but none of them were anything like Wolfe. He thought about this as he made his way towards the town, but he didn't have time to really think too much about it in depth right now.

Wolfe saw the smoke just as she did, and as soon as she took off after it he started to phase step behind her making sure to check down each alley they passed. He was following her lead as she was the Ace, but her safety was his first priority, and he wouldn't let her get hurt. He wasn't sure just what to expect as they made their way. He had to assume they were walking into a trap. The traitor knew they couldn't haven gotten too far by now and that someone would be sent out after them. So if it was him, he would have set some traps up, so Wolfe was making sure to be careful and watch out for anything that looked out of place.

As they were coming up on the building with the smoke coming from it, he could swear he saw a few shadows in the darkness moving around, which meant that the traitor most likely had friends, or maybe even another guild was helping if the traitor was jumping ship to a different guild. As they continued Wolfe spoke out his concern "Tyriel, be careful. If i was the traitor i would set a trap to slow whoever was coming after me down. So make sure to watch out and be careful. Plus i think i saw some moment in the shadows, so their is a good chance that the traitor has a friends, or maybe even members of a different guild if they were defecting. Please just be careful, however, i have your back" Wolfe took a look to his left then right as they made their way, and just as he said he had her back he looked at her back, and for a second his eyes moved and made their way to a certain area of her "back" and he smiled, but then caught himself and looked back up to the area around them to make sure they were jumped.

'Monster Dice' :

Wolfe came to a sudden stop as he saw Tyriel stop and turned to see the 3 people she was now looking at. Wolfe went to take a step but noticed she was starting to talk to them and Wolfe just stood his ground and was waiting for her to make her move. She was his Ace, and he was here to back her up. However, as she was talking to them Wolfe noticed 2 more people appear, one on the roof of each buildings next to them. Tyriel wouldn't be bale to see them, as they were right above her, but since Wolfe was just behind her he caught them out of the corner of his eye. He took a second to focus on the static in the air and his suspicions were confirmed as he felt the two people above them.

Wolfe waited as he could tell Tyriel was about to make her move. He waited and just as she cast her spell Wolfe phase stepped up to the roof to the right of them and just as the mage was about to cast a spell down at Tyriel. Wolfe wasn't about to let that happen and he raised his foot and kicked the guy in the back and into the air across the gap between the two buildings and into the other guy on the other roof and they both fell backwards on top of the roof. Wolfe just smirked as he glanced down and saw Tyriel had knocked all 3 of them down.

Wolfe arched his back and held out his hands as he felt the power of his element surge through him. Then suddenly a bolt of lightning came crashing down from the sky and struck Wolfe. Small arcs of lightning began to arc off of Wolfe as lowered his hands and turned his attention to the 2 guys on the opposite roof that were now getting up. Wolfe just smirked as he stepped forward and jumped across the gap and landed on the other roof and dashed at the two men. The first of the two took a high swing as he aimed for Wolfe's head, but he never had a chance as Wolfe ducked under it and jumped from his ducking position at the 2nd guy and landed a solid gut shot. The man just made a gargling sound as he vomited from the impact and fell over passed out. Wolfe then turned and as the first guy took another swing, Wolfe blocked it and with his other hand he reached out and grabbed the man's hair and pulled his head down as he brought up his knee and planted a knee right to the man's face. The man went limp and fell over as Wolfe released his hair.

He then walked over to the gap and did a little hop off the roof and landed a few feet in front of Tyriel, and right between 2 bodies on the ground. He kicked one for good measure to make sure they weren't getting up, and then turned to the other and did the same. He then walked over to the 3rd and picked them up and pinned them to the wall so Tyriel could question the girl is she wanted.

Wolfe took a few steps back and crossed his arms over his chest and and watched as Tryiel took control of the situation and started to dig the information out of this woman. Wolfe could tell she was letting her emotions take the reins as she worked this woman for information. It was something Wolfe could appreciate, but didn't know himself. He always left emotions out of the exhaustion when he fought or dealt with people. The one and only time he ever let his emotions get involved was when he attacked his father and blew up the house so many years ago. Since then he had promise not to allow himself to go that route as he knew if he did, the next time he would do 100 time or even now 1000 times as much damage.

Wolfe then felt more presences coming up quickly behind them. Wolfe moved his arms so one was in front of him and his other behind his back as he took a quick bow towards Tyriel "My lady, i have more trash to take out if you don't mind." With a flash he was gone as he phase stepped backwards still bowing. He was now about 50 yards back in an opening as he slowly stood straight up again and stood there for a second before 3 bodies descended upon him. He without even dropping his arms or moving his feet dodged the incoming attacks. He leaned back and then moved the top half of his body in a motion to the right and circled around till he was in a bowing position again. He dodged a punch and two kicks as he moved his in this fashion. Then without so much as a warning Wolfe went on the offensive. as he shot his hand forward and grabbed the leg of the guy in front of him and as he straighten out he pulled the man's leg up and out from under him and as he flew up Wolfe side stepped and spun his body as he lifted his left leg and caught he man in the back with a sniping kick and sent him flying through the air. He was now facing his other two opponents and just as they both went to punch and kick him he ducked and dashed forward and placed a punch into each of their stomachs and as they both took a step backwards from the blow he brought both his fist up and landed an uppercut to their chins sending them both off their feet and onto their backs on the ground.

Wolfe slowly stood back up as both of the bodies went limp from them being knocked out and Wolfe did a quick spin and held out his hand to catch a nasty looking fireball with the palm of his hand causing an explosion. As the smoke and chaos settled Wolfe stood there with a slightly anger look on his face as the laughing of two people could be heard about 20 yards away from the top of a building as a man and woman couldn't help but laugh at Wolfe. There wasn't even a sound as Wolfe phase stepped and a second later the man was flying off the roof of the building and through a wall into a random building. The woman didn't even have time to realize what had happened to the guy before Wolfe caught her with a spinning backhand and sent her flying off the roof and to the ground where she rolled for about 10 feet before she stopped moving.

There was another flash and within a second or so Wolfe was once again standing next to Tyriel with his arms like they were before and bowing once again waiting for her to give the next command.
