Ice-Make: The Dragoon

Description: Blue's Ice-Make Magic is a type of Molding Magic which uses the element of ice. It allows Blue to create a multitude of objects out of ice to be used for offensive, defensive or miscellaneous purposes. Outside of combat, the user can also change their surroundings using ice, such as covering the ground with ice. The ice also can be used as dressing for wounds, staunching bleeding and preventing the swelling of an injury. As with all Maker Magic, Ice-Make is versatile and has endless possibilities for creation. It can be used in a variety of unorthodox ways, depending on the creativity of the user. Blue's personal style of Ice-Make is something he's taken to calling the "Dragoon" which mostly refers to his err...ostentaious choice of details when it comes to molding his creations. As inferred by the name, a lot of his creations have a dragon motif to them. His Ice-Make Magic is also unique in that it grows colder and increases in freezing capability in accordance with rising emotion (usually anger, but can also be determination or sheer will). Offensively, Blue uses his Ice-Make to create various weapons and structures to attack with. As a personal preference he likes to create weapons as an extension of his own body (i.e. a sword, lance, or a bow that forms off his arm), but he can form separate items just as well.
Strengths:
- Extremely versatile. The only limiter on what he can create with his Ice-Make is his own mind.
- Bests Water Magic of equal or lower rank outright and can match most other Ice Magic (other than Slayers' of course).
- Effective against Earth and Plant Magic due to the brittle nature of them when frozen. Deals 25% more damage against these types.
- Can overpower Wind Magic if angry enough since his Magic grows colder based off of emotion. At 50% health or less Blue gains a 25% damage increase against Wind Magic.
Weaknesses:
- Needs the use of his hands to perform the seal to start his Spells.
- Weak to Fire-based Magic.
- Ice Slayers can consume his ice, recharging themselves and leaving him at a disadvantage.
- His Ice-Make is Static, so his creations can't home in on targets. All ranged attacks have to be aimed manually.
- Extreme volcanic climates render his Ice-Make next-to-useless
Abilities/Powers:
- Explosive Make. Blue's Ice-Make Magic has a special property that allows his spells to first freeze, then shatter forcefully, increasing blunt damage to its target. His higher-tiered AoE spells are quite potent due to this. Deals half the parent Spell's damage to the target (ex: if Spell is D-rank, deals an extra 0.5x times D-rank damage) within an area of 5m in all directions.
- The Cold Never Bothered Me Anyway... Seriously though, Blue does have an increased resistance to all things cold. He's easily capable of traversing Arctic climates without wearing anything and not having it bother him at all. I'd say he has ice in his veins...but he's much to hot-headed for that to be true.
- Small Package, Big Punch. Just because Blue lost his Dragon Slayer Magic doesn't undo all the training his foster father put him through when he was young. Blue's been fighting for as long as he can remember, and though he may not look it (at the intimidating height of 4'11), the boy has incredible physical strength and stamina.
- Unlimited Make. Ice-Make's utility both in and outside of combat is endless. Blue can create any item he can think of out of ice with his Magic. From handcuffs and keys to furniture and other miscellaneous things. He can even perfectly (or damn near it) recreate items he's had no knowledge of before, as long as he's seen them once.

Type: Ice, Offensive / Supportive
Description: Blue's only Spell that doesn't require him to form the Ice-Make seal before performing. It isn't even necessarily an Ice-Make spell, rather an ability gained from his proficiency with his Magic. After making physical contact with something, Blue expels some of his Magic Power, freezing it solid. This is most often used on surfaces such as walls and floors, but can be used on people, items, and even Spells with varying difficulty. Deals damage equal to his current rank when used offensively.
Strengths:
- Versatile. Freeze is applicable in a wide variety of situations and even on people.
- Can be used to weaken things' composition, making it easier to break them. When used on Weapons or Armor, it reduces the rank of Spell they're able to resist by one rank (i.e. making Legendary weapons only able to resist C-rank Spells instead of B-rank ones.)
- Can freeze Spells that are equal to his rank or lower, negating their damage.
Weaknesses:
- Requires some sort of physical contact with the object/person/spell in order to use.
- Can only freeze Fire spells one rank below himself and lower.
- Ice doesn't discriminate. If he freezes something his allies are in contact with (like a floor or a body of water), they'll be just as hindered as any foe the effect was intended for.
- More often than not, the target isn't actually frozen solid when this is used offensively due to them breaking contact before the frost spreads too far.

- Name: Ice-Make: Cestus
Rank: D
Type: Ice, Offensive
Description: After forming the Ice-Make seal, Blue glides a hand over his arm, creating a dense gauntlet of ice to cover it. He then delivers a brutal punch with this frozen cestus, dealing D-rank damage and leaving a patch of ice that freezes jaggedly outwards, which then explodes, causing more damage and increasing the knockback capabilities of the Spell drastically.
Strengths:
- Can be used dually, with both hands.
- Deals extra tiered damage via Explosive Ice (see above).
- Hits hard. Even as a basic Spell, the heavy nature of the gauntlet coupled with Blue's physical attributes makes this attack sting.
Weaknesses:
- Fire Spells of higher rank can melt this Spell , rendering it nothing more than a punch. A hard punch...but still just a non-elemental punch.
- Ice Slayers can devour the magic enhancing Blue's punch, to the same effect as the weakness above.
- Limited to use only in close quarters.
- Fire Spells of equal rank will begin to melt the cestus, reducing it's damage by 50%

Name: Ice-Make: Shell
Rank: D
Type: Ice, Defensive / Offensive
Description: With the formation of the Ice-Make seal, Blue rapidly and forcefully makes a large, jagged coccoon-like structure around himself (and others, if he chooses). It's capable of both protecting him from damage, and dealing it out to anyone who comes in contact with it.
Strengths:
- Able to protect Blue and whoever's inside of the shell with him from all directions. Can resist 2 D-rank Spells or 1 C-rank Spell before breaking.
- If activated nearby enemies, Shell deals D-ranked damage and knocks them back upon creation.
- If used while moving, the Spell turns into a jagged, rolling sphere of destruction.
- Can explode outwards on Blue's command, ending the shield and sending jagged ice flying in all directions in a 15 meter radius. Deals D-ranked damage to all it hits.
Weaknesses:
- Fire Spells of higher rank can melt the Shell.
- Shell is completely sealed, rendering Blue unable to cast Spells inside of it.
- Allies who are inside of the Shell are also hindered by this.
- Blue can't steer the Shell when it's used as a runaway wrecking ball.
- It's possible for him to injure allies outside of the Shell by casting it near enough to them or shattering it.

Name: Ice-Make: Blade

Type: Ice, Offensive
Description: Blue first forms the Ice-Make seal, and then molds his magic to rapidly create a sharp blade made of ice. The appearance of the weapon generally varies from use-to-use. From a simple blade that sprouts from the top his forearm, to a basic longsword, to a more intricate sabre or something of the sort. Unfortunately this is a Spell that oft suffers from Blue's "unique" sense of "style". Deals D-ranked damage every time he slashes a target with it.
Strengths:
- Sharp. Blades created from this spell hold an extremely keen edge, easily capable of slicing through rock and holding up against other forged swords made of metal.
- Versatile. From a shortsword formed on his arm to a broadsword of decent length, the type of simple weapons he can create with this Spell are numerous.
- Deals extra tiered damage via Explosive Make (see above) by leaving trails of ice behind after cutting that shatter and further damage targets.
Weaknesses:
- Fire. If a flame spell of higher rank makes contact it will melt the blade outright. One of equal rank will steam and begin to thaw the weapon, reducing damage done by 50%.
- Ice Slayers can also consume this Spell, empowering them and leaving Blue at a disadvantage.
- Limited range based on the length of the weapon he creates.
- Can only be used at melee range.

Description: After forming the Ice-Make seal, Blue begins molding his magic and thrusts his hands outwards, creating 6 spears of ice that rush rapidly towards his target and attempt to pierce them from different angles.
Strengths:
- Ice shatters after impaling a target, dealing extra tiered damage via Explosive Make (see above).
- Can be used in conjunction with Ice-Make: Bulwark to launch lancess from the front of the shield. This increases this spell's damage by 1.5x times D-rank damage.
- Piercing Power. Lances can easily punch holes through solid rock.
Weaknesses:
- Any Fire-based spell of equal or higher rank can easily melt away the spears.
- Ice Slayers can nullify this attack by eating it.
- Has to be aimed manually and cannot home in on targets.
- If used with Ice-Make: Bulwark, can only be fired in the direction the front of the shield is facing.

- Name: Ice-Make: Halberd
Rank: C
Type: Ice, Offensive
Description: Blue smashes a fist into his open palm, forming the Ice-Make seal. He then immediately begins molding his Magic, winding up for an attack while at the same time creating a long jagged weapon that crudely resembles a halberd. He then brings it down on top of his target, dealing 1.5x times C-rank damage and often crushing the ground beneath it due to its immense weight.
Strengths:
- Heavy. The halberd hits hard due to how dense the ice is, which is why it does extra damage.
- Deals extra damage via Explosive Make.
- Fast. Though the halberd is weighty, Blue purposely holds off on finishing the creation until he swings downwards, allowing it to deal max damage and still be fired off quickly.
Weaknesses:
- A Fire spell of equal rank will begin to melt the halberd, reducing the damage done by half.
- One shot! Though it may be a heavy hitter, it's only good for one crushing attack, after which it explodes and is unable to be used until the cooldown is over.
- When it shatters the halberd fires ice out in a 5m radius due to Explosive Make, so if an ally is very near the target they might be hit as well.
- Ice Slayers can eat the halberd.

Name: Ice-Make: Bulwark
Rank: C
Type: Ice, Defensive
Description: Beginning with the Ice-Make seal, Blue then slams both hands down on the ground, rapidly creating a large, ultra-cold shield of ice to protect himself (and others if he chooses) from incoming damage.
Strengths:
- Versatile. Upon his choosing, Blue can spend half of the spells' MP to create spikes that spring outward on the shield's front side to damage anyone in physical contact with it for C-rank damage.
- Durable. Can withstand 1 B-rank Spell, 2 C-rank, or 4 D-rank Spells.
- Size Matters. Being 20x20 feet, the shield is big enough to protect anyone behind it and even guard from AoE damage.
Weaknesses:
- Fire. It still protects the caster from damage from one Fire spell of one rank higher or less (though the shield will steam and begin to melt afterwards), but any higher than that and the bulwark will be nullified outright.
- Ice Slayers can consume the shield, recharging themselves.
- Only defends those who are behind the shield.
- Spikes only do damage if the target is in direct contact with the front of the shield.

Name: Ice-Make: Cannon
Rank: C
Type: Ice, Offensive / Ranged
Description: Blue molds his Magic to create a large cannon made of ice that's attaches to whatever surface he casts it on. It blasts out a large shell at incredible speed towards his desired target, doing C-ranked damage and exploding on impact. The Cannon can also utilize whatever material it's attached to as ammunition, making this Spell very versatile and effective even against Slayers who can consume his ice normally. Blue can also opt to create several slightly smaller cannons instead of one to attack multiple targets or hit a single one with a barrage. It's maximum range is 30m and the speed at which it shoots is 10mps.
Strengths:
- Cannon can use either ice, or whatever material it's attached to as ammunition. The type depends on the setting obviously, but is usually either rock debris or metal.
- Is capable of punching holes in even solid metal due to the incredible force and speed of the shot(s).
- Can be split into 4 separate guns, dealing 1.5x times C-ranked damage over four shots.
Weaknesses:
- Fire spells of equal rank will begin to melt the cannon(s), reducing their effectiveness. Ones of higher rank will melt them away outright.
- Due to the static nature of his Ice-Make, this Spell has to be aimed manually and can't move position after its been cast.
- Ice Slayers can eat the cannon itself, and the shot IF he chooses to use ice as ammo.
- Friendly Fire. If allies are near the point of impact for the shot they can be damaged by the explosion.

Name: Ice-Make: Fist

Type: Ice, Offensive
Description: Quickly after forming the Ice-Make seal, Blue slaps a surface with his hand(s). He channels Magic Power through whatever he's touching, causing a series of 6 large arms with clenched fists (made of ice, of course) to explode out of it and attack his target. Blue can create them all from the same point, or split them up to attack in a barrage from different angles. He can also opt to create one gigantic fist instead of several smaller ones.
Strengths:
- Good for sneak attacks, as it can attack from directly underneath his target.
- Hard to avoid if Blue chooses to make them all strike from separate angles.
- Destructive. When creating the single larger fist this spell deals 1.5x times C-ranked damage and is capable of punching through metal.
Weaknesses:
- Fire spells of equal rank will begin to melt the fist(s), reducing their damage to D-ranked. Fire spells of higher rank will melt them away outright.
- Being a Static Ice-Make Spell, the arms can't move after they are first cast.
- Ice Slayers can eat the arms to recharge themselves.
- Only really effective on enemies that are on the ground or near a viable surface. Airborne enemies usually have an easier time of avoiding this attack.
