Job Title: Peace Through Tyranny
Alignment: Dark
Rank: 10-Year
Job Type: International Job
Job Location: Earthland: Enca
Solo Word Count: 10,000 words
Group Word Count: 20,000 words
Additional Requirements: Secrecy is required. There must be no living witnesses or the mission is a failure. Also, ensure that traitorous general is involved in an unfortunate, life-claiming accident. The less it looks like a murder, the better.
Job Description:
”Anyone who knows something of the geopolitical situation of Ishgar will know that Enca enjoys a… unique form of government, one that is presently best for its people, especially in the present difficult times. The Gran Almirante has been doing everything to make sure this country works, but there are those who would see all that work of love and service to the country go to waste. State intelligence has received news that a band of pro-royalists, interested in restoring Enca to the decadent and wasteful time when kings ruled over it, have been mobilizing in the mountains. They have even recruited the services of a powerful mercenary, and are trying to build their strength in order to begin controlled strikes against government positions in the country, a cat-and-mouse game for which we have no time. One of the ‘higher-ups’ in the military government is complicit in this matter, which creates a rather unfortunate vulnerability for all of us. You have two major tasks: firstly, this higher-up, a traitor of the same rank as me, will be supposedly traveling to see some family members, when in reality, he is going to have a secret rendezvous with the rebels. Make sure he has a most unfortunate accident on the way. If it looks like a murder, people might get suspicious, but I’m sure I don’t have to tell you how to do your job. Secondly, proceed to the rebel camp and get rid of the revolution as swiftly as possible; make sure there are no surviving witnesses, as we don’t know to whom the traitor has leaked state secrets. Should word of this intended revolution get to the ears of the Gran Almirante, some of us ‘higher-ups’ might lose a number of presently enjoyed benefits, and being under constant surveillance isn’t quite comfortable. As such, your orders are simple: locate the revolutionaries, wipe them out, and leave no survivors. Destroy all evidence. And do it as discreetly as possible. We don’t want this to become an international event. By ‘discretely’, I simply mean nobody else, asides from the both of us, should be alive to know that this happened. And while you can be sure no move will be made to silence you, we both are aware that it’s bad for business to try to use anything you learn as leverage. Information regarding the rebels’ general location is enclosed in this letter.
All the best.”
Enemies:
Most enemy details can be filled in by the player.
Reward: 300,000 jewels OR a custom Artifact(+) weapon/armor/item - Must specify which when handing in the job.

-A concerned Encan General
Enemies:
Most enemy details can be filled in by the player.
- Rebel Footman x 10:
The bread-and-butter of the revolutionary forces. They don’t have any proper military training, and are only armed with makeshift weapons, but make up for it with their willingness to die for their cause. Please make sure that this willingness is not left unrequited.
Enemy Rank: Weak
- Freedom Fighter x 5:
These guys know the killing end of a weapon and have some basic combat training. They are armed with guns and knives. Give them a final lesson on why it’s bad to play with sharp things.
Enemy Rank: Normal
- Revolutionary Leaders x 3:
These guys know what they’re doing. Two of them even know how to use magic, and while the third doesn’t, they are no less dangerous because of their ferocity and weapon skill. These are wild dogs, and wild dogs are best put down.
Enemy Rank: Strong
- Mercenary Veteran:
This bastard is the primary reason the revolutionaries feel confident that they will succeed in their venture. While Encan by birth, they have spent most of their lives abroad, and have successfully taken part in many small-scale battles all over Ishgar, now intending to put their skills to use in toppling the government. Make them realize why this is a fatal error. Emphasis on the ‘fatal’.
Enemy Rank: Boss
Reward: 300,000 jewels OR a custom Artifact(+) weapon/armor/item - Must specify which when handing in the job.
