Description & Appearance:
For as long as anyone remembers there has been folklore within the desert kingdoms that has been passed from generation to generation by word of mouth. It tells a tale about a goddess that fell in love with a mortal man. This, of course, was a huge taboo within the realms of the divine. Mortals were often selfish creatures that cared only for themselves. Apart from that they were fragile and died in the blink of an eye to a deity. Still the heart wanted what it wanted, she watched the man and even saved his life a few times by doing things that she shouldn't have. It eventually was noticed by the other deities and she was told to choose which world she would walk in.
The high god told her if she turned her back on her family for the mortal there would be no returning for her, she would be branded a traitor. He did say that he would make sure the two would meet if the mortal was chosen, but, it would be as strangers and she might not like what she seen without her rose tinted glasses. She was advised to choose wisely because there would be no second chance. Over several weeks she pondered her decision but finally decided she wanted to live as a mortal with him. The high god gave her a saddened look when he learned of her decision, but nodded before giving her what she wanted. He even kept to his word and made sure the two met, it turned out the male was the son of a noble. Quickly they fell in love and started courting.
It was then that the happy part of the story ended, the kindness that she had seen as a goddess and at the beginning of their relationship was only a mask that the man showed the outside world. He was a darkened soul, twisted with hatred and the selfish need for power. One night a few months later she overheard her love making plans to sell her to another man to gain more power and wealth within the kingdoms. Her heart finally broke fully and she understood what the high god finally meant, she realised it wasn't worth everything she had given up. She cried her first three tears, the first for the loss of her family, the second for her loss of innocence, as she had been a fool, the third was her selfish wish to return home. That night she ran from her mansion home into the desert praying to her family for their help.
Her prayers fell on deaf ears until she fell to exhaustion near the middle of the desert when she once more saw the high god. "Most mortals are such selfish creatures, they wear masks that can hide any blemish of their soul. We could have told you sooner, but I believed you needed to see this first hand to understand I didn't give my warning lightly.", he said kneeling before the dying woman. "Your wish to protect your ideals will live on after your body has passed and I am here to finally bring you home.", he explained. It was then she cried her fourth tear, a tear of joy and hope, that even in the darkest of times a person should try and defy their fate and look for the light. Within the lore it said she died that night but what was left behind was a gold and silver pendant that looked like fire, within the pendant was the four jewelled tears the goddess had cried during her time as a mortal woman.

The elemental heart was once an extremely powerful artifact. It was said to be have been taken from a realm where all the elements met. The adventurer in question took a chip of the crystallized elements and returned to Earthland where he made it into a necklace in the hopes to gain some of the power of the elements themselves. Over many years he won many journeys and found lost treasures by sheer luck, went to war and survived injuries no normal person should be able to. What the adventurer didn't realize was his abuse of this power would soon drain it to the point of breaking. On one fateful journey he called on the power and for the first time it failed him, shattering in the process. This once powerful artifact is now just a shadow of what it once was, but that doesn't mean that it can not aid its owner.

Description:
This lacrima seems to appear as a black orb with a sanguine finish that gives it an eery look, almost as if it is bleeding. The orb itself appears clasped like its clasped by a skeletal, ivory hand, and no matter how hard one tries to separate the two, the skeletal hand will never let go or release the orb that it holds.
History:
A king had insulted and shunned his wife on All Hallow’s Eve by replacing her with another woman. Understandably, she was beyond upset and wanted revenge. Advisors were concerned about the future and so warned the king, who dismissed their worries as paranoia, all the while not knowing the history of his former wife or the dark powers that had awoken due to her anger. For years the former queen would remain close to her former husband and his new beautiful young wife, disguising herself and playing handmaiden when it was needed, but all the while plotting the downfall of the man whom she used to love unconditionally.
It was a few years later that her patience would be rewarded, as the queen wanted to get a seasonally themed gift for her husband. The woman offered her what appeared as a boney hand grasping an onyx orb covered in a sanguine red sheen. The queen was entranced by it, believing it would be a perfect gift for her husband and at the All Hallow’s Eve ball presented it to him. The king and queen fell sick the very next day, and over the following months, their skin started to decay and become necrotic. The very next All Hallow’s Eve the kingdom was in mourning, the mysterious illness that had plagued the rulers claimed them, and not wishing to wait because of rumors of plague and curse, the king and queen were buried that very evening.
The 'gift', meanwhile, had vanished from history, only appearing sporadically when someone of renown had died, and strangely, they all suffered from the same mysterious illness of the original owners ... and all met the same fate the very next Halloween.

Was this made by dwarves to bash things? Was it made to bash dwarves? No one knows, but the craftsmanship is exquisite even if it is a little brutish to wield. The wood used is unlike any common tree. It has no rings, but instead has a subtle vine and leaf pattern and its thin grain is capable of being polished marble-smooth without the use of lacquer. The blade is carved out of some sort of mineral that is dark blue in color and harder than diamonds. Despite that, it is carved and sharpened smoothly with minimal chipping.

There once was a young servant boy that lived loooong ago in Desierto. He served some of the more affluent folk, but he was never jealous of their wealth and status. Unlike most servants, he was just happy to be employed, and he greatly enjoyed his work. He was an appreciative and kind soul that took life as it came at him, rolling with the punches. Even upon his death, he was nothing but thankful and only saddened that he could no longer perform his duties. So beloved was he that his employers saw that his burial was a good one and that all the rituals were performed flawlessly. They spare no expense to make sure his afterlife was everything he deserved and that his tomb was immaculate, and thanks to them his body and soul were preserved and he received his eternal reward among the field of reeds.
That is, until filthy raiders broke into his tomb and messed up all his junk and removed his name. The next time his soul returned to his body to rest, it was trapped there. No longer could he come and go between his wonderful afterlife and his secure deathly home. Now that his soul was once again trapped in his mummified, ancient remains, he decided to make the best of it just like he always had in life. Being the jovial sort, he adopted a new name, Mortemer, and took to roaming the land of the living once more in search of someone to serve.
