History:
Gindrunth, The Deathlord, was a terrible dragon during the Great Dragon War of ancient times. Controlling four of the five common magical elements, the dragon visited disaster upon dragon and human alike, craving death more than any end goal. The four elements melded together in devastating ways, more than capable of satisfying his hunger and quickly reaping lives at every turn. Even if Gindrunth was to be the only creature remaining alive, he would crave even the spilling of his own blood to accomplish the very last death.

Because of Gindrunth’s indiscriminate violence, many campaigns were levied against him in hopes of ending his reign of terror. He inspired teamwork in peoples who would normally war, pulling the kingdoms together just to fell him. Races bonded and learned to work off of their strengths and weaknesses. It was a time of great peace amongst men, even in the face of death. Many continued to die, but the attempts never relented. At long last, a large group was successful and Gindrunth got to taste the only thing he loved in this world.

A power like his couldn’t simply vanish with his body, so as the party looted his cave for treasures and his body for scales, they were shocked to see the carcass collapse in on itself and condense down into a small crystal that looked like his wicked eye, buzzing with elemental fury. It seemed Gindrunth, The Deathlord’s will would continue on, even if he was no longer there to direct it. He would certainly keep watch.

Several centuries ago Pergrande faced a difficult time as the laws against magic were strictened. Even to possess magic was a crime against the kingdom itself and after several hidden witches were discovered to be living in Pergrande in secret its governors decided to start a campaign to eradicate these same witches from their country, making it illegal to declare yourself a non-mage if you possessed magical powers in Pergrande, thus leading to the Pergrande Witch Trials. These trials were horrific, specifically focused on women, and several were accused, twenty witches being executed before the Magic Council stepped in and negotiated their release to end the unnecessary murders. Despite the murders being stopped, it is believed that a cluster of witches came together to perform a ritual to create a power designed to stop the murders, scared that their power would be lost. A pure manifestation of witchcraft in it's truest form, however, this magic was quickly found to be too powerful, capable of mass devastation, and instead was sealed away in a single witch. Bound with several Hexes in order to contain its power, it now lives on in the descendant of the chosen witch, where now, after many years, its binds are beginning to weaken and its power begins to seep out ...

Abilities:

True Craft
During the ritual, the pure magic of several witches was bonded together to create a new type of magic. Born from the essence of a witch, the bearer of this scroll has a deep affiliation to curse magic and the elemental components used to create it. As a result, the way the magic is cast is different from other magic, as it is much more complex and capable of recreating the structure of Caster magic into something much more intricate and destructive. This user gains access to a new magic type called "Hex" and is able to use this magic type to create new magics. Hex type magic is a combination of pure witchcraft and the power designed to destroy those who would harm Witches. This magic type enables the user to use "Summon", "Take Over", and "Caster" type spells in magics that are using this "Hex" type. The benefit levels for Hex Magic are specified below:

Witch's Essence
As this magic is stronger than normal magic when used to enhance one's own constitution, the strength of the caster increases more so when compared to a normal Take Over. This means that instead of the usual Take Over melee damage values, the user's Partial Take Overs will now use 2x summon melee damage for a take over of their rank and Full Take Overs will use 3x the summon melee damage for a take over of their rank. Additionally, all Take Over buffs will automatically be doubled to twice their original value. This applies to the Take Over buff itself only, and not any buffs applied in the Take Over's abilities.

The combination of all these witches' powers means that the Hex user can maintain even more spells in their arsenal. As a result, the wielder of this lineage is granted 4 additional user rank advanced spells to be distributed among their magics, 2 of which rank to H+ Rank and 2 of which rank to S+ Rank. Additionally, they also receive 5 user rank spell slots for one of their magics that rank up with this up to S, though using these spells will cost double the regular base MP and the spells in question will not benefit from spell cost reductions, and 1 extra signature spell for every magic that they apply the "Hex" magic type to, also ranking with the user up to S. If these additional spell slots are created as "Caster" type spells, they each receive an additional base effect on top of the other effects they possess.

The suffering that was caused by Pergrande was great, and this rage lives on in the descendant of the chosen witch. This intense rage fuels the magic power designed towards destruction, increasing the user's base Spell Damage by 50%. Because their magic is naturally designed to curse their enemies, if a target is hit by any of the user's spells they suffer from a 5% HP drain for a max of user rank duration (Capped at H rank. This drain does not stack).

Hex Resistance
Witches are the masters of magic and have the means to obtain such magic power even at their own expense. As such, once per post, the wielder of this lineage can take user rank advanced damage (Up to H+ Rank) on their body to regain mana equal to 50% of the damage taken. For example, the wielder can take on 60HP of damage to themselves to regain 30MP of mana. This is limited to once per post and cannot exceed the maximum amount of mana in their mana pool. HP sacrificed through this ability cannot be regained for the duration of the same thread, the HP lost being subtracted from the user's total max HP permanently.

Deep in Sakuramori there is said to be an enchanted lake, the waters from which are said to have incredible magical power. It is extremely hard to find and many have died in search of it. The few who have found and swam in said lake have found their own abilities heightened in extraordinary ways. One traveller, in particular, was able to bottle a small vial of such water, but not before the water cast him out and turned the water toxic to him. As such, he could no benefit from the vial, and so sold it on into the hands of a new owner.

A cloak that, while appearing to be made from the finest of Bellan silks, seems tattered around the edges, obviously worn and used for a long time, it's very distinct yellow color perhaps being the first thing that one notices while mustering this piece of clothing. Still, it feels and looks mundane enough to be mistaken for just any old piece of cloth, and yet, nothing could be further from the truth. This fact, while not necessarily accessible to just any beholder, will become more than apparent if the cloak is worn by an individual. Once put on, the individual's mind will be flooded with a madness-inducing cascade of whispers, dozens, hundreds of voices that all seem to claw at the wearer's sanity, seeking to tear it apart by a constant barrage of voices. While it is impossible to make out what the individual voices are saying, one will have the feeling that the whispers are bringing forth insecurities, fears, and mistakes, repeating their discouraging lines again and again, like a depraved form of prayer to an equally depraved deity. Still, if one is brave enough to face the whispers that lurk in their own mind, the cloak bestows powers of similar otherworldliness to the voices, able to fracture and twist the fabric of reality around oneself and within the consciousness of sentient beings, reshaping it according to the user's will.

Description:
Death comes. And with it, who knows? Does the soul move on? Does it transcend to another realm? Is there such a place as Heaven, Hell, or even Limbo? Or is it simply nothing? Who knows, the soul goes somewhere, but its destination is a surprise to everyone - unless you are a necromancer. Necromancy is the practice of magic that involves communication with the dead. There are many specific lines of necromancers that exist all around the world, that wield their powers in various ways. This particular line of necromancy has an affiliation with a specific type of the undead – liches. Liches are known to be corpses that have once again come to life, they are skeletons infused with curious dark magic that gives them life. They are powerful beings, capable of dealing immense damage to their foes, to control such a creature would surely be incredible power.

Abilities:

⛧ Commander of the Undead ⛧
The wielder of this lineage is truly one who holds great command over beings no longer living, capable to rule over the great and powerful and pull such beings into their realm. As such, they are able to summon a very specific summoning key known as the Lich King. The Lich King is an incredible force of nature, a warrior capable of great destruction. Because of the lineage holder's mastery of the undead, they are able to summon them regardless of whether they have used up their summon spell limitations. This particular key can be wielded outside of magic benefit limits, it does however take up one of the maximum unknown summoning key slots that an account can have.

Unknown Summoning Key – The Lich King:

⛧ Powerful Necromancy ⛧
Necromancy is an art that can often be greatly destructive, used to cause great devastation and chaos to the world around it. To wield such power is to surely be a force of undeniable misery. As a result, the wielder of this lineage receives a 200% buff to their Spell Damage passively. Additionally, the bearer of the lineage gains a 50% increase to their base Spell Damage.

⛧ Book of the Dead ⛧
The wielder of this lineage is a master of the dark arts, and through its heritage receives a Book of the Dead. This book is filled with pages upon pages about the dark arts, it's knowledge hence being passed onto the wielder. As such the user gains an additional user rank advanced spell per magic they possess, which is added to the same magic, which ranks with the user up to H+ Rank. Further, the user also gains an additional user rank advanced spell per magic they possess. This spell ranks up with the user up to S+ Rank. Additionally, the user gains an extra user-rank Signature Spell for each of their Magics, which ranks with them up to S. Lastly, the user gains 5 additional user-rank spell slots for a single one of their magics, which will rank with the user up to S Rank. Using these 5 additional spells will cost double the regular base MP, and the spells are unaffected by decreases to spell cost.

⛧ Dead Royalties Wealth ⛧
To rule over Liches, it is important that the wielder of this lineage gains power. Another form of power in today's existence is wealth, as such, with the power of dark arts, they are able to manipulate their fortune and gain more wealth to use for their own needs. As such the wielder of this lineage will receive 100% more Jewels from any jobs they complete. Additionally, they are able to contribute to this gain of power by gathering powerful items to aid their rulership. When doing jobs, the wielder will also receive a custom piece of equipment equivalent to the rank of the job, following the Tables and FAQ section, that is seemingly found on the job. Equipment gained this way cannot be sold in any shop or traded to other players, but can freely be traded amongst the user's own characters.

⛧ The Cursed Undead ⛧
Liches are creatures that are inhuman, and they are not to be considered living but cursed undead. A true master of Liches can summon weaker Liches to their aid, these Lesser Liches deal user rank advanced Multi Target damage (Up to H+), attacking their targets with their rustic swords. Injuries caused by these lesser liches will burn a target's MP and HP for 10% once per post, up to user rank advanced duration (Up to H+). They will also have their speed debuffed for user rank advanced active debuff for the same duration. They can move up to user rank advanced MT range and at user rank advanced MT speed, and once per post, the wielder of this lineage can swap places with one of these lesser liches through teleportation, however, this is limited to user rank advanced burst range (Up to H+).

Wanting revenge she sought out a means to end the new lord's reign. Disappearing for several years, it is said that Ophidia was found by a coven of witches and after begging the witches, she disappeared without a trace. Not long after this, the new King's corpse was discovered. Rumour states that when he was found, his body was covered head to toe in snakes, biting him over and over, pouring copious amounts venom into his body.
