Re: The Grand Ball
Serena nodded, slowly absorbing what she'd heard. "Yeah, I know what necromancy is. But I never thought there would be someone who would know it, since it is a magic frowned upon by many," she stated and then looked back at the pile of kitten bones. She felt quite sorry for the poor feline, dying so young. More so, she never knew that even animals might have a dying wish to be put at rest. "Anyways, what is it that the kitten wants you to do?"

"It, wants me to give it the chance to see now since it never got that chance when it was ali- Wait you heard about necromancy??!"he asked, a bit of surprise and fear in his voice. But then he remembered the kitten's body in his hand. "I hope you find it all right if I ask you how you heard of necromancy after I reanimate this body...and you will be fine to see this come back to life?" he asked her to make sure she wanted to be around for it. Unknowing to both however, the spirits that continue to haunt zecarayus have put the illusion over his and seranas eyes that the building was on the ground when in fact it was floating in the middle of the air, in the hopes of tricking one of them to fall to their demise.(Honestly though, did anyone else know that the ball was being held in the ST guild in the air??)
"Those who do not fear power, are too easily destroyed by it."
"Humans are the biggest monsters. How else can you explain a dragon's need to burn down their homes, a demon's need to slaughter them, or a god's attempt at brainwashing them to devote loyalty? It is because we have the greatest chance to destroy them with whatever else gets in our way, and slayers are not the only method how."-Zecarayus Trevelean

Alyia Nystrom Words @Angel of luck |
Alyia had wrapped her arms around herself in an attempt to keep herself warm though it seemed for naught the winds was still chilling her skin. Warmth though soon invaded her body as a cloth was draped over her shoulders. The angel looked up and saw that Cirven had taken off his cloak and placed it over her shoulders. With a swift nod the girl wrapped the cloak around her small frame letting the warmth that still resided within the piece of clothing to seep into her skin and warm her. Alyia watch her blue haired companion look back up at the stars, absobing everything that he was telling her. He had a simular past to her. Death followrd behind him. With a faint smile the angel knew he wasn't looking for redemption from those he knew he was looking for redeption from the people that he was the cause of their death. Moving over to the male mage the angel placed a small hand on his arm, "Cirven, the stars won't answer. They never have. You have to look inside of yourself, but if you want their forgiveness you need to forgive yourself first. How can you expect them to forgive you if you can't forgive yourself and move on? If your sister and mother and father loved you as much you say that they might have they have already forgiven you and they are waiting for you to forgive yourself. Redemption comes in steps, in your case you need to forgive yourself." The angel smiled softly up at Cirven before pulling at his arm and moving him so that she could step forwards and hug the taller mage. She could only hope that her words could get through to him and he could start on the path of redemption. Alyia didn't say much else as there was not much else to say. |

Re: The Grand Ball
Blue seemed rather proud of himself for having been recognized, though Shuhei honestly had no idea who he was. It was simply, just easy to tell that he was from Fairy Tail. "Uhm, Sure." He replied while scratching his head just before the Exceed lucky appeared atop the boys head. The two seemed to be quite the pair. Entertaining, but childish. Anastasia seemed to be entertained by them as well, her reaction to Lucky like any girl introduced to a kitten. Shuhei chuckled, thinking of Leon and how opposite he was to little lucky. While the two interacted, Shuhei took notice of Anastasia's Guild mark and the marks upon it.
Baffled by the self inflicted marks upon her arm, Shuhei decided to read her body language more closely. Shuhei's eyes were capable of seeing the most subtle of hints and was capable of interpreting them very well, a gift of his lineage. Anastasia seemed timid and perhaps self conscious, a trait common among young women. The not so subtle hints were that she was extremely passionate of her craft. Her creations and her music, precious to her and the opportunity to use those things as a mage, must have been very exciting for her. From what he knew, she was a new member of the Guild and recent events have not been easy on young new mages. Perhaps she felt overwhelmed or belittled. Whatever it was, her feelings made her feel some resentment towards Blue Pegasus, and Shuhei felt ashamed for letting that happen. His focus was disrupted when Anastasia spoke to him again. "Heh, I've never been a lord of anything." He said, smiling softly.
"But I could use a dance partner." Shuhei requested, His eyes widening and his tone lightening. Taking her hand Shuhei raised her hand and bowed slightly with his other hand behind his back. Shuhei felt awkward playing along with the whole, ballroom etiquette and it maybe showed a little in his awkward smile. "If lover boy doesn't mind, that is." Shuhei said jokingly as he straightened himself and looked towards Blue. "I'll look forward to seeing you again, Blue S. Coldsummer." Shuhei winked at Blue and wrapped his arm around Anastasia's and began walking toward the Dance floor, assuming she would be too timid to refuse a dance with her Guild Master, or at least a dance with whom she thought was her Guild Master.

Re: The Grand Ball
Cirven slowly broke from staring at the stars to look at the hand that had touched him and then to Alyia. He felt that they really could understand each other's pasts and all of the sadness that they held in. He was surprised though that she had acted similar to how he would have earlier when she spoke about her past.
"I have to forgive.. Myself..?" He thought in his head as she spoke. He closed his eyes as she helped him come to this realization and saw all those he had lost smiling at him and waving. He started to step forward but was really being moved around by Alyia and felt himself be embraced by something. The hug caused him to snap back to reality and away from his thoughts.
"Thanks." He wrapped his arms around her and embraced her back figuring she needed it just as much as he did after thinking of their pasts. He couldn't help but have a blush of red on his face. "You know, you are like the shortest Guildmaster I have ever met." He said to tease her and show her that he was back to himself.

Re: The Grand Ball
Serena shrugged, not caring which came first. "I'm fine with it. The body is just bones so, as long as it isn't the full corpse with blood I should be alright," she said and glanced Astrid who was just curled up on the floor, keeping watch outside and on the two of them. Something about their current position seemed a bit odd to the lion, but nothing too out of the ordinary, at least.

"Yeah, don't like organs spilling out either, but regardless I have to do this." he said to serana. He then took a deep breath and began to cast the spell. He moved his free hand around the kit's remains and then the bones started to slightly glow, then brighter at the ends of each joint. The whole process itself created a soft blue light that illuminated his hand that reflected in his eyes as he focused on the spell. Then, he hovered his hand above the remains and pulled up. All at once the bones came together as they should and held slightly in the air over his hand. Then he lowered his free hand slowly and let the skeleton move on it's own. However, the skeleton trembled like a leaf in the wind even though their was no wind, and opened it's mouth as if it tried to meow, but instead it fell back apart in zecarayus's hand. "Damn..." he said to himself a little frusturated, The problem is it needs to be able to stabilize as much as gain mana since it's so small, and that requires a gas or an liquid at least, he thought to himself, he then looked at serana. "By chance, what kind of magic do you know?" he asked her, she stuck around this far, she could help maybe?

Re: The Grand Ball
While the dance floor finally started to get packed with the attending mages, Frederick was about to bash his own head into the balcony's railing. Just because he was unable to cope with the feelings he simply didn't understand, or better yet didn't knew how to remember. And maybe that was the reason he was so agitated with what just happened, because by his own doing he had forgotten completely how it was to actually like someone. Not tolerate or appreciate, but actual affection.
His attention got suddenly turned towards a new person, who had entered the fray of the balcony. Who simply just like him was there to stare into the night sky, only to sink deep in her own thoughts without realizing she was actually talking out loud.
'girl, I wouldn't know about your problems' responded Frederick to the white haired girl 'but unless you share the same thought pattern with a vulcan, I highly doubt you are an actual idiot.'
At this moment Frederick was still unaware who else had joined the ball, mostly because the balcony he was one was located at the other side of the guild. From where the sky ships could dock. Meaning that he still had no idea that his life long nemesis Shuhei had joined to fray. A nemesis he himself had created the moment he had orchestrated to attack on the former guild hall of Blue Pegasus.

Re: The Grand Ball
Akeya tensed as Akryn kept keeping up that aggressive behaviour, giving a very convincing image that he would try to fight both her and Zack at the same time just to get to Frederick, even when he had no way of knowing whether he would be able to succeed in killing the man if he went that far. Akryn wasn't always the most perfect of teammates, but at least she had worked together with him for long enough that she didn't feel too enthusiastic at the concept of having to fight him. Not that she didn't believe that she could take him on, but it wouldn't be very enjoyable.
However she wasn't going to let Akryn do something that he would most certainly end up regretting, which would cost not only him but the entirety of Blue Pegasus, because of his hatred for this man. Yes, Frederick was known to have committed horrible deeds in the past, but the important part there was that it was in the past. Before he had been admitted into Sabertooth, provided a new home and shelter against those who would want to get revenge on him. The fact that he showed up here was a sign that Sabertooth expected nobody to try something as treacherous as attempting to kill somebody else during this Ball. Akryn wasn't going to be the one who proved them wrong, and not only Akeya but also Zack were here to make sure of it.
And so Akeya kept her gaze on Akryn, waiting for the slightest sign that he would begin to try and get to Frederick. The quicker they managed to subdue him the least trouble it would cause, and the easier it would be. While she wasn't using her magic just yet she was keeping a careful eye on all the magic that she was sensing in the room, and also where the shadows were that she could use if necessary.
When Akryn finally relented, saying that he would allow Frederick to live, at least for now, Akeya nearly sighed in relief. If he had kept up his murderous intent it could have resulted in one giant catastrophe. She was honestly glad that they had managed to make him change his mind before it got to that point, because while she and Zack could most likely have taken him down quickly she wasn't sure how much damage he could already have done before that point. His chances of being able to assault his actual target were low, but even making a scene by fighting other mages would already have been followed by problems for the rest of Blue Pegasus. Unless they somehow managed to hide who it was that had begun to wreak havoc.
The half dragon, however, didn't actually show that relief, instead nodding and releasing the tension that had formed in her body as she had prepared to act against her teammate. He was the one who had designed the outfit she was currently wearing, minus the gem on her throat and the blindfold covering her eyes. At her request he had designed it in such a way that if necessary it would not hinder her movements. A simple precaution, one for a more cautious soul, but if she never had to make use of that little trait of her dress she'd call it a win.
Her hand no longer clenched around her partner's arm she watched him as he tried to put up a fake grin, although it wasn't a very good attempt. A stranger might have fallen for it, but Akeya was pretty sure that anybody who had known Akryn for longer than, say, a week, could have told you that that wasn't how he usually smiled. For one thing, his eye normally didn't sparkle. She'd have to try and give him some advice in hiding one's true thoughts and emotions, for if they had to do an infiltration mission at some point.
At his request for her to dance with him Akeya raised her eyebrows underneath her blindfold, although Akryn at least would probably be able to recognize the reaction. Familiarity worked both ways, after all. The real question was whether she would say yes or not. While he had said that he would allow Frederick to live he still was clearly not happy, which might affect his actions whether he wanted them to or not. And dancing wasn't something that either of them did on a usual basis. Well, at least Akryn didn't. Akeya herself was a bit more of a maybe in regards to that question. Either way, it might not be the best idea to then immediately try and go dance after a nearly avoided disaster...
Then again, he had already asked her to dance before the whole situation with Frederick started, and he had also looked forward to it at that point. And when she let him persuade her to attend the ball she had already suspected and accepted that she would have to dance at some point. Honestly she herself didn't mind dancing that much, and now that she was in a location where she could not do what she deemed more practical she had no qualms against it. So maybe she should just stop thinking about it too much and just say yes. As Zack began his...interesting...performance, Akeya looked at him through her blindfold, then returned her focus to Akryn.
"All right then, although you'll have to lead."

Alyia Nystrom Words @Angel of luck |
Alyia only nodded, words were not needed any longer as the two just stayed there for a minute longer in the silence before it was broken by Cirven's voice making a small joke about her height. Pulling out of the hug the angel looked up at the blue haired mage with narrowed eyes as she scowled up at him. "I may be small but I can still kick ass. Remember, karma's a bitch. In my case it's literal." With a playful and teasing smile the angel pulled the cloak around her and turned to head back inside. "I better go back in. Got to make sure that Venir hasn't infected everyone with her cheery personality." Alyia smiled and chuckled at her comment about Venir. Sure her partner was a joy and a lot of fun to be around, but her personality could be over powering and contagious. With the cloak still around her, the angel made her way back into the bathroom. She looked over the banister at the mass of bodies on the first floor before smiling and looking back at Cirven, motioning for him to follow her. The angel slowly made her way to the stairs that lead up to the second floor. She was ready to go back to the main floor. |

Re: The Grand Ball
All he could do was laugh at the small angel in front of him. It was funny to him how a angel and a demon could get along so well when in what stories he knew of them meeting ever they always ended in fighting each other. Maybe those stories were only a lies to get people to think they were like that? Or maybe Alyia and him were different compared to those of the past. Either way it didn't matter. They were close friends and he intended to keep it that way and support Eclipse Soul as long as they supported him.
"Do all Guildmasters make fun of their Aces like that?" He shrugged and then followed her. "Oh, so we are continuing our date down stairs? Thought we were all danced out?" He teased her a bit more as he followed her to the stairs.
He looked around the lower floor as they went down to see that more people had shown up for this ball. He didn't necessarily notice many of them though. "So we are finding the one woman who is shorter than you, right? Sure we can see her over everyone else?" He continued to joke around.

Re: The Grand Ball
Chapter 5: Liberation of the Soul Rock with Me BGM: Anastasia's Theme |
"Oh, that's good," she said with a big smile as she was leaned in towards Blue for a moment. The creature huffed in the direction of the suitors before turning to look towards his charge. ~ Anastasia. Return Sir Hendrix. I'm pretty sure you're done with it for the rest of the night. ~ the creature announced directly into her head. While it's true that she most likely wouldn't need it for musical or combative reasons, she placed a hand upon the creature's head. "Oh, thank you for liking my song," she said with a delighted smile upon her face. "My name is Anastasia," she said before turning to pack up the guitar into the case latched upon the side of the creature. She put the Stratocaster away and returned her hand to the creature's head. As soon as the guitar was secured, the creature grumbled. ~ Now only call me when you actually need something. Attention isn't something you need, Anastasia, so don't summon me again just to 'shred a chord'. ~ the creature stated trying to use the 'hip lingo' that humans are using these days. With that, the creature eyeballs the three suitors for a moment and quickly showed it's teeth before calmly walking away. Anastasia noticed Blue's reaction towards the large animal, causing her to snicker. "Oh, don't worry about Sasha. He's big and loveable and won't tear you to pieces as long as you don't harm me," she said with a big smile upon her face. While Sasha is a bit rough around the corners, he does perform his job as a guardian well. "And Sasha is neither dog nor cat. It's a Shisa," she said with horrible pronunciation of the word. The last male that got grabby nearly lost an arm into the creature's mouth; but due to Anastasia needing the boy alive to complete the job, she didn't let the creature have his way with it. Her nyanplifiers twitched a bit before nodding her head. "You like them? These are probably my best creations so far," she said proudly. Though, they seem to have a terrible issue with water, as does the rest of her electronics that she had created in the past. But then, when the blush came over her face, causing her to place her palms upon her cheeks and turn away from Blue. While she thought Blue was a handsome guy, she didn't really see the guy like that. Well, to be truthful, she didn't really see any of the guys here like that. But oh, the idea tickled her pink to have a boyfriend. But the blushing was quickly overturned by the spectacle she was about to witness. The Speed Demon of the Blue Pegasus appeared to out-stage Anastasia with a song and dance number. This caused a pained expression to come across. Zack's dancing wasn't the painful part of this entire ordeal. It was the one-liners being spouted off by the Speed Demon that brought cringes and physical pain throughout Anastasia's very timbre. It wasn't until Zack quipped with 'Somebody stop me' did Anastasia's limit. The girl began physically shaking in agony. "Somebody... please.... stop him.." Anastasia said with the final straw escaping the man's lips. The painful one-liners. The best part of the entire ordeal was when it was over. Oh, the music was fine and it would have made her toes tap if it wasn't for those one-liners. The one-liners made the entire thing painful to experience. Her annoyance was quickly culled the moment Shuhei requested a dance partner. Clearing her throat, she noticed a boy about her age approach them. He seemed to be roughly her age. "Well, thank you so much, Blake. I'm glad you liked it," she said with a genuine smile upon her face. Unfortunately for Blake, he had some rather bad timing. Turning her eyes back to Shuhei, she sighed outward. "Only so many times you could hint at that," she said bluntly. The first time, it rendered a cute reaction, the second time it just gets old. A small wave was given towards both Blue and Blake, with her eyes fixated on Blue as she was carted off to the dance floor with Shuhei. "You must have really vied for my attention, hm, Lord Shuhei?" she asked with a little bit of sarcasm in her voice. This wasn't quite what she was expecting when she wanted 'Prince Charming' to sweep her off of her feet. "Enough to drag me away from other potential suitors, hm?" she said, now in a more mischievous manner. A fox-like grin came across her face as she said this. |

Re: The Grand Ball
The well dressed, for once, woman continued shuffling around the outskirts of the room as she did hellos and greetings with people that were flocking in. But after seeing one woman in particular Aiyana made a beeline for her; Mao Nakiri. Her best friend was at the ball! Of course it was kind of obvious that she would have showed up, the inquisitive woman was part of the guild hosting it after all! She made her to her quickly, and politely took a seat across from her at a table before speaking up. "Hey Mao! How've you been!" It was short and sweet, but she had learned that that was what worked best with Mao unless something long winded was needed. The all black ensemble of clothing looked good on Mao, although a part of the scarf was twirled around her finger as the tailed woman nervously wound it around out of habit. 'Maybe if I'm lucky I can talk her into a dance too!' The single thought was all she had as she awaited her best friend's response.

Re: The Grand Ball
The blonde nun smiled softly when Elyx complimented her on managing the ball so far. "Thank you... although I'll be happy when its over and nobodies been hurt, or worse. Floating guild hall, alcohol, not a good combination..." she said before clutching her skull and covering her mouth, doubling over as if she were about to throw up. She slowly stood up panting, her body having not thrown up, but it felt to her like she had all the same. "Wh-What was..." asked Kiersa, her eyes wide with confusion and dread. Something or someone had just cast a spell that had made her body go into such a violent reaction...
The Paragon quickly flagged over one of the Sabertooth guards. "Check the exterior now... some... something's going on..." the nun quietly ordered, the guard nodding and hurrying away to spread the word to the rest of the guards who were patrolling the outside of the Guild Hall and its balconies. She stood there panting for a little bit, her hands shaking a little before she brought herself back under control. She looked to the two Aces and feigned a smile. "A-Apologies for that..." she said before more people appeared... Vexel and Emilia. The Demon Slayer appeared to already know Elyx... and Emilia... the blonde nun blinked at the sight of her. "That dress suits you Miss Leirynaut." Kiersa complimented her.
She quickly ran through her head if it had been Vexel's approach that her body had been reacting to, but put that thought away. If that had been the case, then every time a Demon Slayer mage came near her in the past, she would've reacted the same way... since she hadn't that meant that someone in or near the Guild Hall had been casting some form of magic that went against all that was Holy... Whoever they were, they were going to be in so much trouble...

Re: The Grand Ball
❊ BACK TO NEVERLAND ❊
With handshake and introduction through, Venir let her hand once again fall to her waist. Elyx's moment of informality went by unnoticed by the white haired mage, "Don't worry, I can find her if I really wanted to." She shrugged but trusted that the red head couldn't be causing much more trouble than Venir was. After all, she had completely neglected to realize the other Ace that had joined their company. "Oh my I'm so sorry!" Feeling unbelievably rude at having not realize Kiersa's approach and introduction sooner, Venir could only bow her head in apology. To think she had been so unintentionally rude to one of her hosts! The Sabertooth mage did have a point though, it was rather hot in the room, and Venir had no doubt that she'd break under the pressure if Alyia had asked to organize and manage such a large ball as well. "It's still lovely, try not to stress yourself out so much-" Kiersa had doubled over for a reason which Venir could only assume was stress and not some other magical cause.
"A-Are you okay?" Red eyes gone wide with worry, one hand reached out to attempt to touch her but paused midway as if she wasn't allowed or rather it would rude, the two hardly knew each other save for the last few moments. Another pair had approached, the once gathering of two having grown larger. It wasn't as if crowds or anything of the like scared her, she enjoyed making friends whenever she could, but it was getting hot and the mage was getting antsy. Besides she was more of a one on one person when it came to interactions, when too many new people flooded her at once she often times found herself unsure of who she wanted to get to know first. Giving a smile wave to the approaching pair Venir would have left the group at that point if she hadn't caught sight of another rather concerning pair.
Her attention turning from what appeared to be a sudden reunion between Elyx, Kiersa, and the new set of strangers, Venir could only frown. Alyia and Cirven were together looking...."Like a couple!" Color rose to Venir's cheeks at having not realized sooner that the two viewed each other in such a way..."Alyia! My Guild Master! My closest friend!" Either reading into the situation between the pair too much or too little, Venir was able to at least discern that they were looking for someone... Probably her....Not wanting to get in the way of Alyia and Cirven, truly Alyia's best wing man, Venir's attention once more returned to the the reunion before her. She moved about slightly, not enough to completely intrude into their conversation or seem odd, but she moved enough so that she was angled just right so that Alyia and Cirven wouldn't be able to spot her. She was on the rather small side anyways...

Re: The Grand Ball
One of the Sabertooth guards met up with another undercover guard that watched serana and zecarayus from afar. After hearing the report, the new sabertooth guard told the under cover one to continue his watch of the two and follow them if they move. The new sabertooth guard returned to the blond nun, and after she stabilized he gave her his report from the under covered guard.
I was keeping watch of the balconies like said and noticed the two mages enter the balcony, the female a Blue Pegasus and the other a male Fairy Tail. Normally it is a place for a couple to be out so I kept my eyes off them, only glancing occasionally. However, I saw the fairy tail mage actually climb on the balcony reaching his hand into the gutter! I was going to approach them, but the female mage showed no expression of concern or fear for the fairy tail mage, and we both know fairy tail is known to do brave but stupid things. Anyways he seemed to found what actually was the skeletal remains of a small animal. It should be noted that if this is because of our harpie member then it may be best to keep her away from pet shops in the future. Their is one more thing though, the fairy tail mage seemed to cast a spell on the skeletal remains or close to the sort, for the bones came to life in his hands. I am unsure what kind of magic this is and I am keeping watch of the two until further orders.
The guard she sent out asked, "Guild ace, your orders?"

Re: The Grand Ball
Shuhei chuckled lightly in response to Anastasia's inquiries and blushed slightly, though it would be difficult to see. The music slowed, nearing the end of the current festive tunes to which Zack was dancing horribly. "As eager for your attention, as you were to be rid of theirs." He said jokingly in reference to the other mages crude behavior. Shuhei lowered his arm and took Anastasia's hand, raising it as they walked on to the dance floor. He gave his empty wine glass to a passerby who may or may not have been a waiter based on the way he was dressed... Looking towards the conductor of the band, who looked back at him, Shuhei shot him a subtle wink as he held Anastasia's hand slightly higher, so that the conductor would see her. The man would smile and nod towards Shuhei before turning back towards the band, making various gestures with his wand. "Though I must admit, Anastasia." He said, turning slowly towards her, and continued as he placed his hand on her waist. "Anyone would be a fool, to not vie for your attention." Slowly, the music began to play and Shuhei took the first step in to their waltz.
The waltz began slowly, simple yet elegant. Swaying side to side amongst a small spaced out crowd of other dancers. Inhaling deeply, Shuhei dimmed the light within the Hall with his magic and his steps began to radiate and sparkle with a soft light, illuminating the surface around them on which they danced. Taking notice, the crowd of dancers permitted Shuhei and Anastasia in to the center of the ballroom and some even ceased to dance entirely, to watch the two Blue Pegasus mages. It was apparent that this was not Shuhei's first waltz, his Royal training coming to surface through a dance he'd not practiced in a decade. The waltz accelerated, and the sparkles turned in to flares that circled them and illuminated Anastasia's gown, sparkling and radiant with many shades of blue. It was his intention to draw all eyes unto the lady, who'd previously been ignored.
The two spun in circles, changing direction with the tune as they waltzed in a wide circle the crowd had made for them. Nearly all eyes were on the two near the Waltz's end. "How do you feel?" Shuhei inquired as they danced, gazing in to her. She was an open book to him. Every movement wrote another page and every word a chapter. Though the more he continued to read her thoughts, the more he felt compelled to continue her story, unable to predict the ending. It was no coincidence that Shuhei felt drawn to her when he heard her sing.

Re: The Grand Ball
Alyia Nystrom Words @Angel of Luck |
The blonde looked back at Cirven and laughed at him, ignoring his previous comment about continuing the 'date' downstairs on the main floor. "Venir is in her adult form, she's about the same height as me, but she wears heeled boots so she is going to be a little taller tonight." The angel looked around trying to sspot her friend and smiled as she spotted her. Alyia began to make her way over to where she had last seen her partner, knowing that the girl probably hadn't moved as there were two people on either side of her keeping her in place. The white haired mage was probably talking to them and wouldn't want to be ruse and sudden'y leave. Not that she knew that Cirven and Alyia were coming to find her. The angel ducked and weaved between the people, moving at a quick pace and nearly reaching her friend, only to get caught in a mass of people that were making their way to the floor of the ballroom as a waltz song came on. The girl started to panic. People were fine now, she could stand them, but as the noise and the closeness of them started to gain in quantity the angel started to lose her calm features. With fear now written on her face the angel looked around for Venir or Cirven. Someone to snag her out of the mass of bodies that were pushing past her small frame. The only thing that Alyia had to cling to to make her feel safe was the cloak that Cirven had draped over her shoulders when they were outside. Eyes not closed she could feel bump after bump pushing her body away from the direction that she wanted to go. The fear that she had once thought she had conquered rose back up in the back of her throat and she began to breath with a fast pace. Rapid breaths wracking her form. Damn her and her limited height. |

Re: The Grand Ball
"Its possible for her to be taller?" He continued to tease as he tried stay as close to Alyia as possible. He didn't want to lose her in the mass of people especially with the music blaring which would mess with his senses if he tried to use them to find her.
With his height he managed to see his friend in the nun and Ace of Sabertooth, Kiersa but before he could move towards her Alyia darted off into the crowd of people. He reached out to group her hand but only managed to accidentally touch a woman's rear, to which her date did not like. After spending a few minutes avoiding a fight with the woman's date he had realized that Alyia was completely out of his view.
He snickered as the crowd of people started dancing and he had to push through them to get by. It was irritating with all the different smells between people, all the noise and all the people bumping into him dancing. It was different for him with his height where he could see over most people there where as he knew Alyia would have trouble with the bodies of others feeling like walls.
He then saw a group of people dancing but in the middle of them there seemed to be a gap. He was curious about this and moved over towards it to find Alyia with a face full of fear. He knew it wasn't a good sign and quickly thought of what he could do quickly before possibly causing any issues with how fearful she was. "Alyia!" He yelled out hoping she would hear him through all the noise so she didn't get scared of him picking her up and getting her out of the crowd. He lifted her onto his back and piggybacked her out of the crowd and next to Venir and Kiersa accidentally.
He gave an awkward wave to Kiersa with a smile on his face while also calling her the nickname he always used to call her. "Yo Snow White." He then lowered Alyia off of his back and onto the ground making sure to help her stand. He didn't notice Venir at all mostly due to Alyia being the way she was. Subconsciously he embraced her in front of everyone in an attempt to help her feel more secure. "Hey Alyia, we are out of there now." It was only as they were hugging that he thought about exactly what he was doing but at this point it was already too late.

Her grin remained on her face as she followed Kite's lead and lifted her arms before placing them on this shoulders, in turn wrapping them around his neck. Thanks to these horrible shoes, she managed to reach his towering height. Following him, she found herself swaying to the sound of light music. A moment passed by as they, along with people around them swayed to the music with their partners, but alas, that moment had to pass, and it did. The music toned into a faster beat and an upbeat song played through the large speakers. The movement of people around became faster as the black haired female chuckled, "Can't dance like this on this song, can we now?"
Her movement stopped as she parted away from Kite and stood in the middle of the dancing crowd, "Slaying dragons is much more easier than dancing if you ask me." She just stood there awkwardly not knowing what to do, "Sooo...let's go there." She pointed towards the bar that held many beverages, "I'm thirsty."

Re: The Grand Ball
The Grand Ball BGM: BGM Title |
Sasha's mind felt a little more flustered she had ever had it been before. It was almost strange hat she managed to find herself out to somewhere without a little hesitation in the idea that she would fall once or twice maybe, but she was a little more self controlled than that. After all she was the master of teasing perversions... Well to her she was. She had yet to meet anyone else who was about or even more perverted in thought than she was, but should she happen to, it would be a little more like how she had reacted prior to coming out to the balcony in the first place; flustered and idiotic to say the least and more so to the fact that it was something new to her to have happen. Maybe it was just easier to say that Sasha was more so the aggressor in teasing someone, but the receiving end was something new to her. As she had come to begin to relax and speak freely, she had just as easily jumped and let out a little squeaking sound. To her surprise, she apparently wasn't alone and hadn't noticed that fact at all. She looked over to where the sound of the voice had come from and she had recognized him as the man that Raven had previously been dancing with. She was slightly red faced from the embarrassment of speaking aloud like that, but her thoughts focused on why he had left so abruptly to come out here. Looking up at him, he was really.. well handsome wouldn't cut it. She could see by first glance what Raven saw in him, and she smiled and and chuckled a bit as she scratched her cheek with one finger. "Ehehe.. with how mixed up my mind is right now, sir.. that wouldn't be a far stretch." She turned herself around and leaned up against the balcony, resting her elbows on the top as she tried to relax herself some from the past situation. "I had seen you dancing with Raven earlier, sir. It.. was very nice to watch. A smooth dancing pair, indeed~" She giggled a bit at her comment and quickly pushed of from the balcony and gave him a curtsy and smiled a little. "I'm sorry, I forgot to introduce myself.. I'm Sasha Martin, a part of the Combat division of the Rune Knights. It's a pleasure to meet you, sir." She rose from the curtsy and took a coupel steps closer and placed her hands behind her back and pressed against her back and hair gently. "You know~ Raven's a hell a gal. I spent some time with her, and she's a sweet girl. Considerate, generous, playful if she's in the mood for it.. and uh.. most of all~" She paused and leaned in toward him, despite the fact she didn't have to, she did it for effect. "She's got a hell a soft chest." She would quickly lean back from him and giggle with a wink, holding out one hand with her index finger raised. "I would know, I've had the unexpected chance to uh.. test their quality.. so to speak. If you would mind me suggesting something.. She looks to be preetty find of you too sir, so I would sweep her off her feet in front of everyone and show them you mean business in showing that you want her for yourself. Nothin' wrong with that, and slip in a nice kiss. That'll seal the deal for sure!" Though not one for relationship advice, she did care for making sure Raven was happy, as she would do for any other friend so it seemed to be a really nice gesture on her part... or she would at least hope it would stay that way. |

Elyx turned his head to the side with a somewhat cat-like facial expression, his surroundings of wind showing a confusingly huge amount of the air being disturbed. Keirsa didn't seem to think it was normal on her own anyways, he owed her the least by at least helping her. Well, I'll find her eventually then. Thanks! The Violinist said to Venir before turning over to the other Guild Ace, now a bit concerned on another situation at hand. The fact that there was someone out there using magic in the ball, it didn't seem like such a good idea. If Kiersa had no idea of something like that in the first place, then it might as well not be classified as something designed for entertainment. Healing magic was rare, believed to be a myth to some, so the chances of that were rather slim as well. Attacking magic, that was not a rare sort of magic at all, rather common in fact. Hence Guilds, wars, training, and everything within all of those bounds. I... Think you need a little help Kiersa. Mind if I get to help with shutting down the user of magic? Elyx explained with a smile then placed on his face once again. He did owe her and Raven quite much for letting him in, And if Kai did anything stupid, Raven would jump him once again. It was quite a nasty beating based on what the Violinist saw last time, and Kai acted like that was normal. How many of those did he get? Regardless, Elyx knew that Kai deserved every last punch, for something as small as a tuxedo that he didn't want to wear?
He was prepared to bring out his Violin into the fray, but then again, he remembered that he was in a bad enough position as it is, being a Neutral mage and all. To cast magic on his own in front of two-three if Kiersa is included-people would probably flip and expose him into the light. Then the Violinist would be forced to make some sort of quick escape, and there was the possibility of a certain slayer among the mages. If that were the case, he was as good as dead, that one would end his life through eating him... It was a rather embarrassing thought, that being his death. Regardless, the point was, he needed to avoid using magic. It's the least I could do, you brought me here after all. Consider me an assistant. The Violinist promised with a smile and a playful solute with his right hand, just to let it flop besides him once again.

Re: The Grand Ball
The Paragon heard the report and grimaced at the description of the magic used on the kitten's remains. "Necromancy... that explains what happened... what is happening..." she grumbled, rubbing her forehead as she considered what to do. She couldn't risk an incident with Fairy Tail over the actions of this one mage... and they were in enough bother as it was with Blue Pegasus, if this other mage decided to condone what the Fairy Tail mage had done... On the other hand, she couldn't just let them walk free for practicing such unholy magic at this event...
She looked to the guard. "Inform the Fairy Tail mage that he is to stop using his necromancy here tonight... then escort him, gently, to the Fairy Tail guild master or one of their Aces, whichever one you can find first, and then explain the situation to them. We'll let them handle their own." she ordered, the guard nodding and heading off to do his job. The blonde nun took in a slow breath to compose herself. "It's alright, thank you." she said to Venir with a soft smile before shaking her head at Elyx. "You're a guest. Thank you for the offer, but you're here to enjoy yourself. The only work you need do tonight is maybe play that violin of yours if Raven has anything to say about it." said Kiersa before jumping on the spot slightly at an old nickname for her.
She spun around, immediately regretting that particular decision as she put a hand to her mouth, swallowing it back down before she caused an incident, and saw Cirven, with the Eclipse Soul Guild Master... on his shoulders. As soon as she'd sorted herself out she gave a small bow to the Guild Master. "Good evening miss... I hope you're enjoying yourself tonight... even with this blasphemous heathen wandering the halls tonight." she said with a smirk aimed at Cirven... then she thought of something, her eyes widening. "Umm... do they know you're here yet?" she asked of the blue haired man, not saying names, but hoping that he got the gist of it.
This could get very awkward, very quickly... she'd already averted one disaster involving guild masters, Kiersa didn't exactly feel up to trying to avert another... especially in the condition she was feeling right now.

Re: The Grand Ball
The guard went up the stairs toward the balcony with zecarayus and serana. Zecarayus, who noticed the guard, slid the bones into the nearby rose bushes before he approached them. "Excuse me, by orders of the paragon you are to come with me to go to your superiors." "For what reason exactly?" zecarayus asked, curious about why someone as high as the paragon would ask this. Then the guard said it, as if a voice from his past, "For using necromancy." The breath left zecarayus, the last time he was told that...no, this is not thedas, this is fiore. "Will you come with me now?" the guard asked to get zecarayus's attention. "Ah yes I will, it was a pleasure meeting you serana and your panther." he said to searana and astrid before he went with the guard.
Unknown to both the guard and zecarayus the raven flew from outside to into the building, perched on one of the higher posts. It's four eyes kept watch of the inside the building, its purpose? Simple, make zecarayus loose it. As he walked with the guard he saw the bird perched looking down on him. If that bird is here, then the nightingale is not to far away which means.. a trap. He then started to cough, the guard asks him, "What's wrong?" "Oh it's *cough cough*...not sure." zecarayus faked, then when the guard was close enough, zecarayus grabbed him with both hands and casted a fear spell. The guard's eyes went black and he started to flail in terror for a brief moment until two other guards quickly subdued the afflicted guard without it creating any disturbance. However zecarayus was gone, and now headed to the bottom floor and blended into the mass of people there, unaccounted for by any guardsmen and hoped to find his guild or a way out of the ballroom. One of the guard's returned to the guild ace to tell her the necromancer was now unaccounted for.

Note: Until I get this in his character sheet, his name is changed to nevarran. Same soul though!

Re: The Grand Ball
Emilia let out a small grunt of sorts as Keirsa complimented her dress. "Thanks. You too." She looked around, visibly out of place at an event like this. "So.... this is the ball. Keirsa, how big of trouble would I get in if I went and smashed the lacrima that guy is using for his personal little band here? I mean he did shout for somebody to stop him." She looked down at the nun with a mischievous grin on her face. She wasn't bothered by her collapse or any of the mention of necromancy or such. The issues the nun was having seemed like a personal problem.
She honestly wanted to just walk up and slug him, but that'd be "unladylike" and would probably give the nun a heart attack. She could sense that the guy was pretty powerful as well, so she'd have to settle with smashing his stupid lacrima. Before that though, Vexel seemed to be familiar with this Elyx guy. She looked between him and Vexel "Oh, you two know each other from uh.... where did you come from before joining Sabertooth anyway, Vex?"
