Oh so these things had not been entirely stupid. The hive lord was talking to Deniel right in front of her eyes, after all. The weird and inexplicable stuff she came across as a mage both baffled and excited her. She had run into so many strange things and none of these things could even be dreamt of by a raven demon like her back in her world. Earth, their magic and people in general were all weird creatures. What made them so lovable to Raven? Well, maybe it was the unexpectedness and new twists they tend to present her with. All she knew was that there had not been even one boring day ever since she came to this world. Though aware of the dark sides, she couldn’t help but feel like protecting this world. Her second home must not be burned down like her first.

One hard poke on her left leg suddenly made her jump and turn towards a really small sized carrier who was innocently observing her with its head slightly tilted. “What?” she asked the little critter as it softly squealed. Did it like her or something? The hive lord did say they only hated humans. So being a demon, she was probably well liked? She wondered while subtly kicking the carrier away from her. ‘No, I’m not going to pet you.’

She noticed Deniel running back and the carriers getting into an attacking position. Even the small one that she had kicked away was turning ferocious under the growls and commands of their hive lord. “What the heck, Deniel? I turn my attention away for a second and you cause this sort of mayhem?” she screamed at her companion as she sprinted after him. Towards one of the carriers that dropped down at her, she swung her whip at, splitting it in two. Green liquid like substance came out of it and Raven had to choke back the feeling of wanting to puke. Ugh these things were disgusting.

Raven and Deniel darted through the tunnel, a swarm of insects after them, screeching and squealing angrily at the mages that had hurt one of their hive lords. If they didn’t get out of the mountain before those things caught up, she was sure that the mountain would give away. She noticed the defensive structure the diggers and their mage built, figuring out that they were close to the exit, she increased her speed, leaving no trail as she found her way out into the open, letting her wings free the moment she found light. She rose up in the air and turned to the entrance, waiting for the insects to come out of it. Deniel would probably take care of the things from the ground and she could do it while flying. She had a feeling that it would be safer.

Once the swarm came out, she swung her whip at the few that tried to jump onto her and drew some of them away from where Deniel was to fight without getting him mixed up within her spells.

    "Wrath of the Black Devil!"
Heavy smoke-filled breaths escaped the nostrils of the scaled black monster. Behind him he could hear the screeches of the Hive Lords, as well as the thundering sound of the swarm digging straight through the mountain, carving out alternative paths as well as making the one they had initially made earlier much bigger. As Raven and Deniel each exited the cave, the two went separate paths. Raven had taken to the skies, while Deniel remained on the ground with this thundering footsteps. He took several very long strides so that he could create a bit of distance between him and the entrance. Once he had turned around, he saw the results of his action. Hundreds of tunnels and caves had been almost instantly created by the Hive, with swarms of carriers and hatchlings, each carrier obviously...carrying many more hatchlings than before. The four tanks that they had encountered split themselves up, with two of them going into the skies after Raven, and two staying on the ground to assault Deniel. No sign of the Hive Lords, however. The swarm of bugs poured out into the sky against Raven, while the rest of them crawled on the ground after Deniel. The Black Devil firmly held his ground, as his glowing red eyes glared to the swarm filled with hatred and rage. Clenching his teeth and revealing his fangs through parting his lips, the Black Devil took in a quick breath through the gaps of his teeth, before once again letting out a roar.

It was very similar to the one that he performed against the Hive Lords, but he had done it much louder now that he was no longer holding back against it. It lasted for only about three seconds or so, but had still echoed through the depression and throughout the mountain. The feral roar was unlike any other creature, but was meant to challenge the Hive that approached him and Raven. This roar had also given another purpose, for as he released it, he unleashed an 'inspiring' aura from his body, one that would share a bit of his power with Raven, significantly increasing her strength, speed, durability, and reflexes by almost double. The Swarm had made sure every single one of them exited the cavern, and spread themselves out through the depression and in the sky almost evenly so there were no more pouring out. This made it so Deniel and Raven were surrounded from all directions by the terrifying insects, but they were no longer terrifying to Deniel. The Black Devil feared nothing.

The very first insect of the Hive, a hatching attempted to strike him from the front. Rattling its wings, it leaped from off the ground straight at Deniel. The Black Devil could have very easily cut it in half with one swing of his sword, but he was filled with rage--more so than usual--from the humiliation he felt when he screamed against such puny creatures. Instead of doing that, he clenched his claw around it, catching it while it flew through the air and separated one of its claws from his body. A screech escaped from it as he did so, but to just shut it up, he slammed it on the ground and crushed it under his heel like any other bug. He watched as the steamy green liquid escaped from its crushed corpse, which did not entirely fit under his boot, just most of it, and gained satisfaction from his first kill of today. With his back turned to most of the swarm, although they did not all attack him at once, around five or so of the Hatchlings had gotten him from the back, jumping on his body and beginning to gnaw at his hardened scales. To compensate for it, the wings on his back began to rattle, fiercely enough to shake them from off of his back, and give him room to breathe once more. He would be busy for quite some time against them.

    "A wanderer isn't always lost."
Shortly after Deniel had killed the very first hatchling, he heard a very loud screech just above him. Looking up briefly, he saw the swarm that Raven attracted descending from the sky straight for him. "What the Hell happened!?" He asked himself, but it was intended to be directed towards Raven. He saw that she was no longer part of the battle, which meant one of two things to him: She had an emergency to take care of for her Guild, or she left him to die. Perhaps he would have chosen the former as the option if he had time to think, or if the situation didn't seem so grim. However, what he thought was the latter. She left him to die? As the Black Devil stared straight to a swarm of bugs flying straight at him from the sky, and surrounding him was the other swarm of the Hive...his eyebrows furrowed. Surrounded in all directions by an endless army of bugs and insects, the one thing that he hated more than anything, and left to die at their hands? Unacceptable. Absolutely unacceptable. As the horrific thought of him dying to the hands of these monstrous creatures entered his mind, time seemingly froze. And he began to recall plenty of memories that had flooded him.

    "Abandoned at birth..."

The thought echoed through his head as a vision came to his mind. Suddenly he felt himself in the wasteland of Sin, but in a much more safe place. Walls of True Obsidian surrounded him, and everything was illuminated by torches and candlelight. He was inside of a room, surrounded by four walls, save for a door that lead into the hallway. The typical crimson red carpet that covered the floors of the Obsidian Palace covered up the floor, creating a soft surface for people to step on. The carpet was trimmed with golden designs and colors as well to give it a much more artistic look. The door that lead to the hallway...it was sealed shut. No one could exit, and no one could enter. There were cries of pain and agony, coming from a woman. She was screaming, as if he body had been torn apart. Looking to the center of the room, one could see the woman. She had a loose white dress on, and her legs were spread out far and wide. Her stomach's size gave away the obvious that she was pregnant, and currently giving birth. She had beautiful, long and flowing blonde hair, and sky blue eyes that were currently remained shut. The one who accompanied her seemed to be a middle-aged man. Jet black hair with dirty blonde bangs, blood red eyes similar to Deniel's, and the outfit of a king. Of course. It was Deniel's birth place.

In a brief flash of light, time fast-forwarded itself to when it was all over. Arianna the White Angel was no longer screaming, and she cradled a child in her arms. Diabolos had been kneeling down beside her on the bed she resided in. Another child for the both of them. "It's a boy this time, Arianna..." Diabolos began, watching as the silent child breathed with its eyes closed tight. "Already I'm wondering to see how this one will be once he grows up...what should we do with him?" A wicked, devilish smirk very quickly appeared on to Diabolos's face. "I have an idea..."

Notes: All Durations have been frozen. Flashbacks.

    "A wanderer isn't always lost."

    "Straight into a cell..."

As the current image of the interior of the Obsidian Palace, and his birth, was flashed away, Deniel was given another one. These were not occurrences in which he remembered, rather ones that had happened to him and were being shown to him now. As if he could remember them. And the next one that he was shown was one he was given up to Bellum, and his life forever changed.

Arianna and Diabolos were both surrounded by guards, swords and spears pointed straight at them. However, neither of them showed intentions of fighting. Diabolos stood with his arms crossed, not looking the least bit intimidated. Arianna was holding Deniel as a baby, wrapped up in cloth in her arms. In front of them, outside of the circle of guards, was one of the high-commanding officers of Bellum. "Arianna and Diabolos...how provocative to see you two. What brings you wicked souls here? Seek to wreak more havoc?" Diabolos stepped forward a bit, only to have a sword straight at his neck. Still not the least bit intimidated, he shrugged it off and looked at the commanding officer. "Naaah, not today. But Arianna and I wanna' give you little shits a bit of a gift." Still suspicious of the two, the commanding officer said nothing, and did not order his troops to step away even an inch. Arianna held up her arms, showing them what they had brought. "Behold! One of our children! A Nephalem! He is yours to keep." After their declaration, Arianna and Diabolos were gone in a second, perhaps to bring about ultimate destruction elsewhere.

Shortly after Deniel was handed over to him, the officer to the child Deniel elsewhere so they could decide on what to do with him. Kill him seemed to be the first option that was brought up, as he was the son of Diabolos and Arianna. If he were allowed to live, he could become a serious threat to the world. On the other hand, he was just a newborn baby. Would killing it be truly right? And what if he were raised not to think like Arianna or Diabolos? Another option that came up would to be using him for research. They could learn an endless amount of things coming from a live and well Nephalem, especially things about Arianna and Diabolos. Something that could perhaps help them defeat the two.

The last option was voted upon, so Deniel was locked inside of a cell. Kept away from the rest of the world, for any way that he may attain knowledge or power, Deniel was only kept alive to grow. Grow until the point where the Bellum scientists could experiment on him and learn a thing or two. Despite being locked up was the full intention, it was not so. After six years had gone by, Vergil came into the mix. A respected Bellum warrior, and a Nephalem, Vergil pleaded for his locked away brother. He promised that if he were released, he would raise the boy in isolation so one day he could fight and kill Arianna the White Angel and Diabolos the Black Devil. Naturally, it was passed.

    "A wanderer isn't always lost."

    "Raised in isolation..."

Although not as terrible as the others, and this time it was actually a memory, it was still something that Deniel considered a miserable portion of his life. He was not allowed to venture off on to the beaten path of the place Vergil had raised him, or else he would be punished. He was forcefully taught some things he did not want to know, although he did gain some things that he loved to learn. Regardless, as a kid, he was not properly raised as one. He wanted to go out and explore the world to gain knowledge, but he was not allowed to. Isolated, almost caged. It was like being in prison once again.

    "Told to die..."

Wandering back to his darker thoughts, that's when another year or two passed by. He was a kid, and he couldn't help it. He wanted to see the world. Going against Vergil's will, Deniel wandered away from his isolation. He traveled for miles and miles all by himself, until he finally reached perhaps the worst location he could have visited. A village who was once victimized by Arianna and Diabolos.

When Vergil released Deniel from prison, there were many to witness it. They witnessed the respected man carrying the damn child in his arms. And they watched with fury. Now...as they saw him away from Vergil, they unleashed their hatred on him. Recognizing him, and shouting at him, they began to throw stones at the poor child. Watching, Deniel could see his former self. His innocent self. Sky blue eyes and silver white hair, with a bit of a chubby figure due to his baby fat. He saw himself weeping on the ground, tears streaming out of his innocent eyes as the small figure attempted to shield itself. His frail body was being bruised, and started to bleed from the impact of the stones. All while the people shouted insults at him. Then...a particular one told him to die.

From a distance, all Deniel could see was his former self stand up with hatred first entering his eyes. And from that day fourth, he would be scarred by it forever. He watched as the innocent blue eyes flared with hatred, and began to glow a deep red color. Tremors surrounded Deniel as the rocks were rappelled and in an instant there was an explosion. An explosion of pure Chaos Energy, one that would completely wipe out the village. Buildings were destroyed and set ablaze, and people were killed where they stood, some completely vaporized. And it was from this event that Deniel would be sent straight to Hell. Both when he died, with so much blood on his hands, but also immediately.

For Bellum knew what happened that day. And so did Vergil. Erasing his memory and ripping out his heart, Vergil's promise to the country of Bellum was not accomplished. Surely Deniel would be taken away shortly...and he hoped with all of his soul that the child would survive. Survive and one day conquer Arianna and Diabolos.

    "A wanderer isn't always lost."

    "Put through Hell..."

The most vivid of Deniel's memories, and the one that had the most impact on his life. For most of his life, he lived through this "Hell". Starting at the age of eight all the way until the age of sixteen. Being a much more recent memory, and also one that he had gotten over of for the most part, this sequence was relatively quick. Although much more detailed than the rest. It came in a series of three flashes of light.

The first was Deniel battling in the arena. Not when he fought the monstrous Senji, but perhaps when he was fourteen years old, and was battling another poor and helpless soul. Compared to how he was as a little kid, Deniel had grown significantly stronger and much more powerful than any normal human could have with strength from his adolescence alone. The poor man that had been locked in the arena with him, with thousands of spectators was losing horribly. Watching, Deniel could see a past version of himself winning the fight. With the same jet black hair and blood red eyes filled with hatred, although much more...savage. He wore no shirt, since he did not find a need for it in those days, and his pants were cropped and ripped up. His hair was a complete mess, and there were bruises and scars all over his body, and the way he carried himself was very apathetically. He did not care for any pleasantries or luxuries at the time. All he was concerned with was staying alive. So naturally, he had no time for being concerned with his appearance.

His face was filled with rage as his fist was sent clashing into his oppose's face, before shortly bringing his head right down into his knee to cause blood to gush straight out of his nose. In seconds the vicious Nephalem had defeated him in a matter of seconds, just like the other one. And as the adolescent Nephalem stood there victorious, the crowd had begun to boo from their hatred from them. It was all trivial to Deniel by now, who got used to the fact that not once would he ever get a cheer. Just like any other time, the rage-filled child raised his middle finger up to the crowd to show his discontent and apathy towards them. The fights were the only enjoyment he could receive from this wretched place. For the other days...they were not so pleasant.

One of these days, annually a week, was the torture and experimental day. The day where his body would be tied up so he could not resist, and would be experimented on. The woman who lead it dressed up in a revealing nurse outfit, mainly because experimenting on Deniel gave her a sick, twisted arousal of some kind. Hearing the Nephalem cry out in pain or agony as she made incisions into his flesh, or tested the tolerance of his body always resulted in her laughing in pleasure. It made Deniel sick and utterly disgusted to his stomach, and he could not count the amount of times he cursed at her or swore that he was going to inflict the absolute worst of pains upon her if he ever got free. She was not the least bit intimidated. As far as she knew: he was not going anywhere. However, all of that changed. The day he fought for his freedom, and he got his wish. Although trivial torture compared to what she did upon him, hearing her scream and cry in agony was one of the most satisfying sounds that he had ever heard in his life. And one he would not forget.

    "A wanderer isn't always lost."
The rest of Deniel's memories and experiences were insignificant compared to what his past was like. What was important was the comparison he was about to draw with those situations, and his current one.

    "And now...left to die."

As he was slowly drawn back into reality, the color and speed of the world was becoming visible to him once again. A swarm of giant bugs surrounding him, and another one just above him. The Black Devil was alone once more, with only his sword on his back to help him in this fight. He was outnumbered, quite literally a hundred to one. Perhaps even more so than that. And while the two armies came at him from all directions, those thoughts had rushed through his head like a jolt of lightning.

"Abandoned at birth straight into a cell. Raised in isolation. Told to die. Put through Hell! And now...left to die. Left to die by someone I put my trust into. At the hands of these insects...? Unacceptable. Absolutely unacceptable. I will not stand for this..."

The speed of everything surrounding the Black Devil who was lost in his own thoughts had begun to pick up. Slowly but surely real time became reality once more. "I will not die here...."

    "NOT LIKE THIS!"

Just as the swarms of insects had almost collided with the Black Devil, his body exploded in an inferno of Unholy Energy. Surrounding his body like the fires of Hell, Unholy Energy covered Deniel form head to toe, but still with his body visible underneath. The explosion was powerful enough to knock the two armies of insects back, leaving him unharmed, although it did no damage to them. The fury of the Black Devil was now limitless. As it had been contemplating on its past, and its current situation, rage was the only thing that could fill its soul. Malice entered its thoughts, pure hatred drove his soul. And now it would drive his every action. The Black Devil was slowly beginning to awaken, to consume and take over Deniel's mind: to threaten the boy with completely losing identity of who he once was. But he did not care. Now, all he was focused on was survival. And a complete massacre was about to unfold. Stomping one of his feet on to the ground, the Black Devil raised its head up to the sky where most of the insect swarm had been knocked away, and let out a terrifying roar once more. Unlike the first which he had performed against the swarm and against the Hivelords, this roar was completely savage. It was not speaking some kind of animal language, but rather saying one thing universal. He was completely insane.

Practically forgetting whom he once was, the Black Devil began its massacre with yet another Hatchling. Grabbing on to the first one he saw, the poor soul, the Black Devil abruptly ripped it straight in half by grabbing on to one of its frontal claws and its hind legs. In one brief and powerful pull, the Black Devil snapped its spinal cord in half and tore its flesh apart, letting the blood and inner organs of it gush out and on to the ground.

    "A wanderer isn't always lost."
Taking heavy, infuriated breaths after tearing the hatchling apart, the Black Devil was still not satisfied. He dropped each half of its corpse on to the ground, and then felt something from his backside. Three hatchlings had latched on to his back, and were clawing at his scaled skin. Each one stung a lot more than he had anticipated, and all three together did send violent jolts of pain straight through the Black Devil. So right now he had made a mental note to himself not to let anything from now on attack him, or at least try his best to do so. And he was going to accomplish that by only one way. Grabbing on to the first hatchling from over his shoulder, Deniel violently brought it down to the ground. He gripped on to one of his claws, and then forced it to get right off of his shoulder, launching it over and down to the solid ground, where he lifted up his boot and crushed its head to a million pieces. The green blood of the creature gushed out and splattered a bit on Deniel's boots, but he did not care. At the very same time he did that, he grabbed the other one that was near his ribcage with his left hand. And while he lifted up his boot to crush the first, the second one was given the same fate as the previous one.

He gripped on to each half of its body with a firm and hatred filled hand, and ripped it in half in an instant. Its green blood poured out like a waterfall, mixing in with the blood of the one that was crushed under the Black Devil's boot, along with the bits of skull, skin, and bones inside of it. Digging his heel deeper into the tiny insect's crushed skull further, merely out of the hatred inside of himself that was rising, Deniel decided to deal with the last one. He grabbed on to it with his right hand, and brought it from behind himself up to his face. The tiny creature snarled and tried to claw at him, only to have the Black Devil keep it further away. He had both of his hands around it, near its ribcage, and decided to give this one a much more painful death. Just because he wanted to save the best for last. Tightening his grip on its ribcage, Deniel very slowly and painfully crushed the creature's lungs, piercing it with its own ribs. It let out cries of agony and pain to the rest of the hive, which quickly closed in on Deniel's location. Not really having any time to make it any more painful, Deniel gave his tightest grip around its lungs to smash it into a million pieces while also breaking them open.

Following the death of the two hatchlings, Deniel decided to regroup himself. The deaths of the three were very graphic, but also very swift. That is why the Hive did not reach him just yet. But now they were close and closing in on him. So, using the wings that were ironically of the things he hated, Deniel flew away from his current position and straight through the swarm of flying bugs up into the sky. Raven was no longer there, so it was time for him to assume control of it. ....And the ground.

    "A wanderer isn't always lost."
Soaring straight through the swarm of bugs that were initially coming for him right from above, Deniel get yet another challenging roar. Perhaps there were going to be many more of those, due to the fact that right now his mind was barely thinking with any sort of logic or reasoning. It was purely survival instincts and combat expertise in addition to the emotions of fury, rage, malice, and hatred. While these emotions were not necessarily out of the possibilities for the Black Devil to be filled with, it was certainly not to this extent or level. What brought out this level of anger within him was merely the misconception of the situation, and the way that he conceived it. The negative emotions had gotten the better of him, and now were exploding in a very violent piece of destruction. In some ways, however, this would work to his benefit of dealing with the Hive without being consumed by air sense of fear or insecurity. There would be no mercy. There would be no holding back. And the only thing that would reign supreme in this major conflict with the Hive would be the Black Devil, regardless of whether or not he was outnumbered. Because for certain his strength would not be matched by these vile beasts, and he was about to prove why. For as he soared straight through them swiftly, his wings rattling among theirs and almost blending in, he prepared himself for an ultimate attack that would wipe the face of most of them.

Reaching the very center of the swarm of Hatchlings, whom also had the ability to fly, Deniel activated a spell that would be used in the demise of almost all of them. As each and every one of them turned towards him, and prepared to latch right on to his body and claw their way past his flash, hoping to even devour him, Deniel charged up his assault. It was not particularly a very powerful spell, however, given the strength that he measured from these Hatchlings with his earlier encounter from them they would not stand a chance. Unholy Energy starting at the very core, the center of his body, and pulsing straight through him along with the hatred and rage that he kept up inside of himself, and exploded with ferocious and violent force. All of the insects around him within thirty meters, which were the ones that were not on the ground, were engulfed and practically incinerated by a destructive wave of Unholy Energy. The sheer wrath of Deniel's current disposition enhanced the magnitude and destructiveness of the attack.

The Hatchlings had all unified in a single screech as their very last breaths. In an instant all of them were destroyed from the outside, inside, and all around. Their was almost nothing left of them when it was all said and done, except for the blood within all of them. And this blood rained down on their brothers, the other members of the Hive. Deniel couldn't count just how many Hatchlings that was, but he estimated around fifty or sixty. And the rest of them...he would make very short work of.

    "A wanderer isn't always lost."
With the large number of Hatchlings still dead, Deniel noticed that they were in still in enormous quantities. Getting rid of them was easily, but getting rid of all of them would perhaps be the trickier part. With the large number of the hive that had been flying towards him eliminated it, did clear up his vision about as to what was going on around him. He was surprised that not everything was coming at him at once. However, when he got a much more clear view of the depression, and time to look, he could see why. The Tanks and Hivelords were all near the entrance of the cave, observing what had been happening between their Hive and the Black Devil. They bore witness to a majority of their Hatchlings being slain, much to their dismay. As a result, one of them decided that it would be their time to take matters into their own hands. They let out a challenging hiss to Deniel, causing the rest of the Hive to back off away from him. Allowing Deniel to land on the ground safe and sound without having to worry about being jumped, he looked to see his challenger. All of the Hatchlings and Carriers were backed away, giving plenty of room for the thundering footsteps to enter the large space that they gave the two.

He was approached and challenged by a tank. A monstrous insect with very rough, rigid, and spiked caprice surrounding its body. Inside of its saliva dripping mouth was a mouthful of razor sharp teeth and fangs. It stood on four colossal limbs with a thousand pounds of muscle and armor from its own skin. Near its mutated face was four limbs that extended themselves out to be massive scythe-like limbs that looked like they could cut through solid metal. It was truly a terrifying creature, and what made it worse was its massive size. Deniel himself was only as tall as one of its legs that held up its colossal body, so naturally the creature towered over him, but that was insignificant. The Black Devil did not look the least bit stirred by the challenge. Instead he scowled and gave a small puff of steam through his nostrils. "Execute...NOW!" His frown becoming much more intense as he reached behind his back to draw his sword Armageddon, Deniel's body became engulfed in Unholy Energy. "SPIRIT MERGE!"

This only lasted for a brief moment, before it all died down, but not vanish. It seemed to go straight into Deniel's scales, as if going inside of his body. It was because of this that he was unable to draw his sword Armageddon...for his transformation had begun. Grabbing on to both of the horns sticking out from his crown, the Black Devil gave very low grunts and bellows. His scales had begun to crack and shatter, appearing to be have molten lava on the inside of his body. There were several disgusting sounds made as his back was penetrated from beneath with a pair of new wings. Ripping off the previous ones and replacing them were two leathery bat like wings, tattered and torn from the lava that seemed to cover them. The boots covering his feet all the way up to his knees were completely shattered and broken through with the tons of muscle that were added on to his legs, as well as the claws that extended themselves out of them. From his shoulder area, his flesh was once again penetrated through, but this time not by wings. Instead, another pair of arms came out of his shoulders, one for each, before it seemed like a new pair of armored shoulders had appeared. With the complete agony that he was going through with such a transformation, Deniel tugged as hard as he could on the horns for his head, going as far as to shattering and completely crushing one of them. The jewel that was on his forehead sunk straight into his scales before reappearing at his chest. He was now...the True Black Devil.

    "A wanderer isn't always lost."
Even that was not the end of the agony that Deniel had to live through with his transformation. Suddenly he felt as if he had the worst headache in his life just as spikes shot their way through his frontal lobe and appeared on the outside of his skin. His behind area also felt incredibly painful throughout this whole process. And as the sound of his flesh being pierced and skewered was heard once again, Deniel could feel a massive bit of muscle and skin be added to the weight of his body and curl itself around. Briefly looking below at himself he saw the tail go right between molten covered feet. Even he was caught by surprise of the appearance...he knew he was capable of doing this, but had never once used it before. His body was smoldering with molten lava and cracks, giving him a much more demonic appearance as the smoke and heat waves almost shielded himself from sight, were it not for the strong glow that his body gave off. He had control over three different new limbs: his tail and a pair of extra arms. It did feel unusual to be able to control two more arms than he normally could, but he figured that sooner or later he would get used to it.

Now that the true beast within himself was unleashed, the Black Devil gave a low growl before roaring in response to the Tank's challenge, accepting it. Deniel had no idea if he could speak without using words, but somehow in the Black Devil that unfamiliarity became an ability that he had. He was able to communicate with other creatures using snarls and grunts, although he himself did not get exactly how he was able to do so...he just could. Not only speak it, but understand it. With the challenges laid in place for each other, both the Tank and Deniel revved themselves up for a charge. The large insect dug one of its massive limbs right into the dirt of the depression and skidded its heel across it. The Black Devil firmly placed one of its clawed feet into the ground and slightly ground it against the dirt. The Tank let out heavy breaths that expelled saliva and plenty of vapor in it, while the Black Devil's breath exhaling through its nostrils emitted a small quantity of smoke each time. After revving up for only a few seconds, both the tank and the True Black Devil charged from their locations. The Black Devil took very heavy and large gaps in his steps, with his clawed feet digging into the ground and leaving a mark with every step that it took. The Tank, on the other hand, moved swiftly despite its size with each of its massive legs causing the earth to tremor with every few steps. It seemed as if the match-up was obvious, the victor being the tank, but it would not be so.

Using one of his four arms, Deniel reached behind his back and drew his sword Armageddon straight from it. And then, just as the tank was about to come into contact with him, he veered himself off to the right. Getting a sharp grip right on to one of its scythes, careful not to cut himself, Deniel used Armageddon which had been empowered by a massive amount of Unholy Energy coating it to slice off its scythe clean off of its body.

    "A wanderer isn't always lost."
Expecting to hear a screech that was not unlike most of the other insects, Deniel lowered his guard. This proved to be a grievous mistake as his scaled and smoldering body was met with a blade of massive force. Cutting deep into his flesh, and even being strong enough to pierce through his hardened muscled, the True Black Devil was sent barreling straight towards the edge of the depression. He would have hit it as well were it not for his enhanced strength and durability. Utilizing his sword for a secondary approach, the True Black Devil impaled the blade to slow down his approach to the edge of the depression, in which the Hive had already split themselves apart to make room for him. In addition to his feet he dug his heels straight into the ground, with his claws at his toes digging straight into the soil. Finally coming to a stop a few meters away from the Hive, some of the Hatchlings had thought that this was their chance. Ignoring the condition of the challenge that their Tank had made, they jumped straight for the Black Devil from behind, five of them in total. The Black Devil pulled his blade straight from the ground, and turned his body around with a very sharp pivot. Using the momentum of it into his swing, the Black Devil's blade coated in Unholy Energy not only cut straight through the bodies of the poor five Hatchlings, and vaporized them, but had also killed three more poor Hatchlings that were unfortunate enough to be caught in the way.

Now that he demonstrated his strength and power, the Hatchlings surrounding him no longer had any interest in challenging him until the fight was over. Maybe the Tank could weaken him? Or better yet simply annihilate him. Giving them one last snarl before turning back to the Tank, Deniel sheathed Armageddon on his back once more. Observing to see what had happened in the small interval, he was a bit surprised to see that the Tank's limb that he had cut off had abruptly regenerated itself; perhaps while he was not looking the beast had performed it. Now that he knew he couldn't necessarily underestimate this monster, and had to defeat it all at once with its regenerating its abilities, Deniel prepared himself for yet another charge. The way this fight would be handled between him an the Tank was each of them would charge, time and time again with different attacks each time until one of them managed to overpower the other and was still standing. Both of them revved up just like last time, and once again charged after one another. With the knowledge that its limbs had the ability to regenerate themselves, a much more reckless and direct approach to the Tank was the only way that he could achieve victory.

Instead of veering off to the right, Deniel took the scythes that enclosed right on him straight-on, using two of his arms to obstruct their movement. Their blades sunk into his hands, but did not cut straight through them, and he also had access to two more limbs. Utilizing his other two fists that were currently free, the True Black Devil began to unleash an onslaught of punches.

    "A wanderer isn't always lost."
It did not take Deniel long to realize that his attacks were having no effect. After the first five punches or so, he saw that the Tank was not stirred in any way, and still continued to fight against Deniel's strength so he could slice him in half between his blades. The True Black Devil's demonic blood stained each of its scythe-like limbs, and were quickly dripping away from its palms. He was in a very tight bind, but it was not something that he could escape. Temporarily focusing all of his strength just so he could overpower the tank's limbs for just a moment, Deniel shoved them away from himself, and quickly ducked under them so he could roll away. The Tank paid him no mind, and ran the other way so he could reach the other side of the Depression, so that they may once again charge at each other. Deniel, on all-fours when he ducked, swiftly ran in the opposite direction before returning to running on two of his legs. It was at that moment that he realized that...running on four of his six limbs was not so bad. In fact, it might be preferable in terms of speed. Perhaps he could use that to his advantage...an idea came into the True Black Devil's mind.

As he made his way over to his side of the dueling arena that had been created for him and the Tank, a very sinister grin had developed across his face. The fangs in his mouth formed a wicked curve that appeared to be quite terrifying, and especially given the demonic appearance of the rest of his body as well as the smoldering image that was created. From what he could gather, the Tank's skin was virtually unbeatable unless he used some kind of significant spell. With the rest of the Hive still an issue for him to deal with, he would have to defeat this Tank without using any kind of significant spell that he would have to save for the rest of the Hive. And now, now that he learned that its limbs were invincible and also regenerated, that meant he needed to somehow get beneath that armor and kill it in one strike. Or two very swift ones. It was a tough situation, but now he had an idea as to how to deal with it.

Turning on his heel once more to face the tank, who was already getting ready for another charge, Deniel dropped down to all four of his limbs. Feeling a little unusual, and ridiculous in the position, he did feel some sense of awesomeness and comfort from it; it was not a foreign thing to him, it seemed. And then the final charge between the two began. Deniel, moving much swifter than he had before and with now four of his limbs creating cracks in the ground, he found that there were even small tremors created from it. The enormous Tank and himself charged straight for each other, with the Tank opening its scythes wide so it could slice Deniel straight in half from both sides. However, it would not be so. Just before Deniel came within range of those scythes, he lunged from where he was with a very powerful headbutt. He knocked the Tank right off of its feet and straight on to its side with the force that he gave from it; a smaller being overpowered the larger one, and he revealed its weak spot. Just underneath its belly was a small area that appeared to not be made of the same caprice as its thick armor above its skin. A point in which Deniel would strike.

    "A wanderer isn't always lost."
Seeing the tank on its side and revealing its weak spot to the True Black Devil, the monster let out a very devious smirk as it reached behind his back and held the grip of its sword tightly. Swiftly drawing it from his back, he aimed it directly into the center of its insides...for it had a very brutal plan. Stabbing Armageddon straight through its soft flesh, he watched as the green blood gushed straight out of the wound that was created. And for the first time he heard more of a high-pitched screech coming from the tank rather than a challenging or intimidating roar. That sound gave the True Black Devil a sadistic delight in hearing it, odd for Deniel's demeanor, but not unusual given the fact that the Black Devil was very swiftly taking over his mind. However...he was not finished just yet. He could still feel the beating heart of the Tank. Grabbing on to his sword with yet another hand, a very violent and brutal event occurred inside of its body. Armageddon, stabbed inside, shifted itself and narrowed its blade towards a ninety degree angle so that it could become a scythe. In the process it displaced and sliced several of the organs inside of the Tank right in half, and caused even more blood to gush out of it. With one final attack, the True Black Devil violently ripped out Armageddon from the wound created earlier, further cutting its flesh and spilling out the remaining organs inside of it. A huge pool of green blood developed right under the Tank, and it let out screeches of misery and pain its last breath. The True Black Devil was victorious over the first of the three.

Witnessing the entire fight from beginning to end, the Hive Lords and the Tanks communicated with each other from beginning to end using odors and their own form of language. They would fully understand the language of humans, and speak it--for the most part--but they had their own way of communicating. They first spoke of how the Tank would overpower the True Black Devil, and how there was nothing he could do against them. Especially since he no longer had his companion to help him. He was all alone now. And these suspicions carried between them up until the moment in which Deniel knocked the Tank off of his feet and right on to his side. Panicking a bit at losing one of their most powerful underlings, the Hivelords began to screech for it to get up, as well as snarl commands. However, in vain, the True Black Devil swiftly finished off one of their most powerful warriors, and as if he couldn't get any more arrogant, he did it all with a fitting devilish grin.

After finishing off the first, the True Black Devil gave out a very brief roar to show his victory. It was not all that grand, for he still had the rest of the hive to take care of, but what he had just accomplished was now a start. And the Hive Lords were shouting orders at the rest of the hive. They could not take any more risks. All of them were to attack the True Black Devil at will, and do whatever it takes to finish him off or else risk losing their hive. And perhaps if they had done this earlier it would have worked...but the Hatchlings and some of the carriers were not filled with fear and terror. They did fight, but very reluctantly.

    "A wanderer isn't always lost."
His sword Armageddon still in his hand, the True Black Devil cut the first Hatchling that attacked him right in half. Its organs and green blood spilled everywhere, although he could have honestly cared less. The Hive of Hatchlings and Carriers were now coming for him, but he was not the least bit intimidated. With Armageddon coated in Unholy Energy with every attack, it made every cut a definite kill for each and every one of them. Soon, very soon, they would all be wiped out and the only ones left in his way would be the three remaining tanks and the four Hive Lords. The sword Armageddon flawlessly ripped straight through its skin and incinerated it with the Unholy Energy that covered it, before going straight through its body and out the other side. That was one. The second one came at him from the opposite direction, despite the fact that at this point it was pretty much suicide. They had all witnessed how he had taken down a Tank and several other Hatchlings without much of a problem. And the display of the first one dying was a sure example that not a single one of them could ever stand up to the True Black Devil. Regardless of the doubts that they had in their tiny little minds, they were forced to go through with blindly attacking the demon. Why? Because their Hive Lords had ordered them to do so. And even if it was against their will, they could never defy the Hive Lords. To them it was better to simply have a quick and painless death, or so it seemed, than defy the Hive Lords and be punished for it.

The second one came from behind, and the True Black Devil brought his blade up just behind him in order to impale it. He spun it around so that he held it backwards, and thrust it with great force straight into the Hatchling. The massive blade first impaled it, and then it went through just enough to split in half. With his hand still behind his back the True Black Devil spun Armageddon's hilt so that he could hold it straight in his hand once again. Bringing it around his body in a powerful cut, he split a group of three Hatchlings right in half, with each of them giving a screech as the blade severed one half of their body from the other. That was five already, but they just kept coming. Their numbers were significantly reduced from earlier, but that was in part of him using one of his spells earlier. He could use it right now and reduce their numbers significantly once more, but where exactly was the fun in that? There was no a whole lot compared to cutting each of them up one by one and hearing their individual screeches of their satisfying cries. The True, monstrous, smoldering Black Devil gained an insatiable delight in the suffering of others. Deniel did not...but this being was slowly no longer becoming Deniel. Without even activating Omega Black Devil, his mind was very swiftly being corrupted into that of another being's. And perhaps at the end of this day, that being will very well take over his mind.

It was a possibility, indeed. After swinging his sword to kill five of them, the True Black Devil was met with one of the carriers leaping on to his body and beginning to gnaw at it. Much larger than the Hatchlings, and more powerful, the Carrier did cause him to stagger, but with one fatal blow and split the large insect in half just like the rest. At this point it...one thing was clear.

    "A wanderer isn't always lost."
Only the Tanks or the Hive Lords could ever hope to stand up to him. And even then, the tanks did not appear like they were doing much of a good job. But perhaps the Hive Lords would? Deniel didn't know about whether or not they would or wouldn't, since he had yet to fight one. Although he suspected that he would get the chance to fight all of them once he eliminated their entire Hive. And even though it didn't seem like it, he was doing serious work to their numbers. Another five down. He managed to catch them in a line at the perfect, opportune moment. Holding on to Armageddon with two hands so the recoil of it would not bother him, his blade shot out like a rocket straight from its hilt, although it was still connected by a very thick and durable metal rod. Piercing and skewering each of the Hatchlings one after the other, impaling them all across the blade like a shish-kebab. A very childish simile, indeed, but very true. And once the blade came back with their corpses impaled on it, Deniel swung it to split another Carrier right in half. He had to swing his body around a bit in order to do so, since they all came from different sides, and one after the other. As he did, its green blood spilled over his body. The molten magma and heat coming from them evaporated this blood in mere seconds, however, but he also did note something.

As he turned once again to stop the approach of another carrier, he thought about how all of them shared the same colored blood. The Hatchlings, Tanks, and Carriers...all had the same color of blood. Green. Not like the usual red that existed within most species. He didn't know if the Hivelords shared that common blood, but sooner or later he would find out. Now that Carrier that came for him? It ended just like the rest. Not getting cut in half, no, but being killed. This death was a little more painful than the rest. Deniel had three hands to work with other than the one that was clasped around his sword, so he did not waste their usage. Grabbing on to its jaw that attempted to bite him with two of his four arms, he pulled right against its crunching force. And all while he fended himself off from a small horde of Hatchlings approaching him. The two arms on the left side of his body worked to holding back the force of the Carrier's jaw, while the ones on the right side fended himself off from the Hatchlings.  Three of them came at him, one at a time was their mistake, for they all ended up like the rest. Split in half one way for one, horizontal. The second one was also split in half, vertical. The third one? Split in half. That was all Deniel needed to do was cut them once, so naturally they would all be cut in half. One way or another. As for the carrier that he had been taking care of earlier, he finally focused much more strength on it. His arms mustered up enough force to separate its jaws and break its spine as well, killing that one. The numbers of the hive were seriously starting to dwindle, and he could see it as well. He estimated that they had less than half of their numbers left.

    "A wanderer isn't always lost."
Nidhogg noticed the change in his master's demeanor after Spirit Merging with him. How could he not? He was linked with him spiritually now stronger than ever. However it was not just his outside demeanor that was changing, it was what he held on the inside. The two shared a link directly associated with their minds, and more often than not Deniel let his thoughts wander straight into Nidhogg's. And overall, the ones Nidhogg had been receiving were not that of his master's. Technically they were, but Deniel would never ever think this way, would he?

Destruction! Chaos! Discord! Kill! Murder! Annihilate! Eradicate! All of these inferior beings shall fall before me! I shall murder them all. Then...I will find Raven and murder her, too. And why not kill all of Eclipse Soul while I'm at it!? Hahahah! Killing is fun. Murdering is fun! Watching these puny creatures writhe, squirm, and squeal fills me with such delight!

Deniel would never say such things. Not unless he had been brainwashed or his mind had become corrupt. And in this case it was most likely the latter. What caused that corruption, however? The Black Devil did occasionally corrupt his mind, but the True Black Devil was when that did not necessarily happen. Ever. What exactly caused it in this case? Perhaps it had something to do with the fact that earlier he felt abandoned by Raven. Nidhogg himself knew that could have not been the case, but doubted in his mind that Deniel would ever listen to him. The situation seemed to despairing and hopeless. One that he entrusted his life on appeared to have left him to die at the hands of these horrible creatures, one that Deniel himself was fearful of as well. Of course the Black Devil masked these fears, but deep down inside he was still the same Deniel. The same Nephalem. Deniel Decayuss Thorman. This creature that was massacring the Hive? Not him. Or not completely him, anyway. Usually a Take Over was around 75% him, and 25% something else. But this? It was almost completely reversed, maybe even more so than that. The voice in which Nidhogg heard these thoughts was also not in Deniel's voice either, no. Not even in the slightest. It was deep, insane, and almost sounded like a feral beast attempting to utter words.

Yet despite all of the pain that it put Nidhogg in to watch his master throw away his sanity, he dealt with it. There was nothing Nidhogg could do aside from sick back and watch. He couldn't really talk his master out of this no matter what he did, and not to mention: he needed it. Despite how much harm losing his sanity temporarily could do him on an emotional and psychological level, that was the only solution if he were to make it out of this alive. The True Black Devil was the ultimate key to destruction and chaos, and there was nothing more appropriate than that to get Deniel out of his predicament than Chaos and Discord. So...he had no choice but to watch. Watch as Deniel transformed Armageddon, himself, into a scythe, and cut away at ten more Hatchlings in a row all with a sinister and wicked grin spread across his ruthless and smoldering face.

Nidhogg also noticed that his master had yet to say another word for the longest time. He recalled that the very last words that he spoke was towards Raven, and ever since then, the only way he has spoken was through snarls, grunts, and roars challenging the Hive. Other than that, he didn't utter a single word. Either he didn't want to because he did not deem it necessary, or his mind was just becoming that corrupt. And just like before: Nidhogg was leaning more towards the latter. It was the only 'logical' explanation that he could muster. This draconian and murderous monster fighting the Hive was certainly not Deniel, but it was the only thing that had the ability to fend off the hive to such ability. Nidhogg also noticed...he wasn't being harmed. At all. The most that happened to him was when the Hatchlings started biting him, or the Tank got the upper hand at him. Other than that: he had not taken a single scratch. And any attempt as to harm him from the Hatchlings and the Carriers ultimately resulted in their demise. Their very brutal demise. Grasping on to the next five Hatchlings using five limbs, the True Black Devil crushed them all one after the other. What limbs did he use? Four arms and a tail. Thus far in this battle he had not used his tail just yet, but he did find some use from it; five very foolish Hatchlings decided to assault him, and he was able to grab on to each of them one at a time. One of them came from the back, but he found his tail very useful in this kind of situation.

Such small, inferior creatures... the True Black Devil thought to himself as he stared at each of them squirming in his grasp. Abruptly he crushed each of them, one at a time. First with his right arms, one after the other, and then his left arms. His tail was tightly wrapped around the Hatchling from behind, and it squeezed right on to it with enough force to crush its body from the inside and leave it like an empty sack of skin. His hands and his tail were now both stained in the green blood, but the monster could care less. It filled him with a sense of pleasure and delight, as a matter of a fact. There was blood staining his hands, blood! Something that he adored to see! Something that he yearned to witness. The blood of another creature. That meant that it was dying, or it was going to be. In this case, all of them around him were dropping like flies. A silly metaphor, for they did resemble flies in some ways. They were bugs, and they also had wings similar to flies.

Drawing Armageddon once more, he killed five more members of the Hive, this time they were carriers. Once again they were foolish enough to try and attempt to kill him, only to have it result in their ultimate, brutal demise. Were it not for the smoldering lava cracks on his body, and the intense heat that it gave off, his body would have most likely been covered from head to toe with the green blood right now. But alas, sooner or later it all dissolved away from the heat. Not that he cared.

    "A wanderer isn't always lost."
He did not care. Not even in the slightest. And his earlier comment inside of his own head about these creatures being so inferior echoed inside of his head. As he grabbed on to another Hatchling and ripped its body in half, hearing its spine stretch itself apart and be cut in half as its guts and organs spilled out of its ripped open flesh, he thought about just how weak these creatures were compared to himself. He was the True Black Devil. Seemingly invincible. Inconceivably strong. Indomitable. Even if they call came up on him at the same time these puny creatures would never stand a chance! He was the superior being! He already dwindled their numbers to less than half of what they were originally. Letting out a very low growl as his foul eyes scanned the area for the remaining members of the Hive. Some of them seemed to be cowering in fear at his sight, and did not dare to near him as a result of the fear that he instilled in their tiny little hearts. They had all witness this monster rip their brothers in half one after the other, and do it all with a grin across his face. Fear consumed them, and caused most of them not to move. Regardless of whether or not their Hive Lords had ordered them to do so, they no longer felt it was necessary to risk their own lives. Even if it was for their Hive Lord.

Screaming and shrieking orders at their hive, the Hive Lords attempted to get even a single one of them to move from their spots, but it was no use. They all cowered before the True Black Devil, who had yet to make another move. But none of them dared to try and test out his patience. Shivering and quivering in fear, they all slowly backed away from the True Black Devil. His eyes were on all of them, staring at each of them one after the other, but they were not able to tell when exactly they were. The True Black Devil's eyes...they had no color. No pupils to indicate where exactly they were looking at. It was amazing that he could even see, and not just see...he could see better than almost any other being that existed right now. He could see the fear in their eyes, their bodies, and in each of their hearts. And although fear did give him a sense of pleasure and delight with the fact that he had successfully instilled it into each and every one of them...he felt empty. Emptiness from what? What did this creature feel empty from? The lack of a challenge, most likely. The True Black Devil's sadistic pleasure by torturing these tiny creatures was all but used up. Now it was as much as simply stepping on a spider. None at all. He needed a challenge, and that's when his gaze shifted to the Hive Lords and the Tanks...them.

    They could be his challenge.

    "A wanderer isn't always lost."
Puny... The True Black Devil said in his mind, gazing upon the cowering Hatchlings and hiding Carriers. He frowned upon their fear, for he had none. He did not know the meaning of fear, at least the True Black Devil did not. Deniel did, mostly of insects, but this monster...it was afraid of nothing. They all seemed so small...how could Deniel be afraid of something like that? Cowardly... Their fear was one of the most vile emotions that he had born witness to. He could not understand fear, nor could he feel it, and he considered those who could weak, inferior beings. Vile... Now the sight of their green blood no longer filled him with a twisted sense of pleasure. And all of their organs...spilled everywhere, most of them near him. It was absolute disgusting and vile to see, and anyone else most likely would have vomited at the sight of it. The True Black Devil gave a low growl as he contemplated how disgusting these creatures were, but that was not the end of it. Weak! Perhaps what he considered to be their biggest sin. In his eyes: they were all weak. So weak that all it took from him was one slice from his sword, one crush of his grip, or one pull of his hands, and any one of them would fall from his might. Such frail creatures in such large numbers, and they dared to defy him? Unforgivable. Absolutely unacceptable. About as unacceptable, as being left behind for dead against such inferior creatures. She wanted him to die? That was not about to happen. Not in a million years.

Puny, cowardly, vile, weak creatures! Letting out another snarl, this one sounding much more enraged than the last, the True Black Devil came to a conclusion: they were no longer fun to kill. He previously took his time in slaughtering them because he found entertainment in it, but no longer. How easy, it seemed, that his disposition on them would change to swiftly. Well, when you are insane, that is what tends to happen. Realizing that they had outlived their purpose of being entertaining to him, there was only one solution he could think of: slaughter them all in one attack. With Unholy Energy charging on his two lower hands, the True Black Devil took in a very deep breath, one that he would use to let out a terrifying roar. Temporarily jumping into the air and raising his two hands up, he clapped them both together before swinging them down. There was a flash of light. Of blood red light that filled the night sky, that filled the darkness in the air, and that almost destroyed the entire mountain. This flash of light was very shortly met by a massive explosion with indomitable proportions and destruction. Caught within the explosion were the Tanks, Hive Lords, Hatchlings, and Carriers. The first of the two were relatively unaffected by the massive explosion, mostly temporarily blinded. The Hatchlings and Carriers on the other hand? Annihilated.

Completely annihilated, gone without a trace, in a single second. The flash of light hit them with an enormous amount of destructive energy, completely vaporizing their remaining bodies without a trace. In addition to those who were left alive, the dead ones with their bodies and organs were also vaporized, gone without a trace. And finally, to top it all off: the mountain range which surrounded the depression was completely destroyed so that he may have much more room to fight in once it had all faded away.

    "A wanderer isn't always lost."
The light was gone. And with it, so much more. All of the Hatchlings and Carriers vaporized. The corpses of the already-fallen ones completely gone. The mountain range destroyed. The insides of the cave in which the Hive occupied completely out in the open, and most of the pods also destroyed from the blast. All that was left standing was the True Black Devil, the three remaining tanks, and the four Hive Lords. All of them stood on a seemingly desecrated wasteland. For the building in which the scientists worked, and all of their corpses had been destroyed as well. It seemed as if their battlefield would be a mere piece of dry, rocky land.

The destruction that he wrought? Now that, that was delightful! Purely enjoyable! Entertaining to say the very least! All of them were completely vaporized in one small move, and the land! The precious landscape now destroyed. The pure chaos that he could bring about! The sound of it filled him with a sadistic joy. Imagine what he was capable of after this!? What would he do after he defeated the Hive? Go out into the world. And destroy. Crush, kill, murder! Just for the sheer enjoyment that he would get out of it, he would go out there and kill anything that would get in his way. He would destroy entire villages, cities perhaps! He would became the most feared creature in all of this world.

I can't get enough of this! It's intoxicating! I will kill these seven, and then get off of the island. I will see what this world has to offer...and I shall destroy it all!

With the sadistic grin still twisted across his writhing face, he turned his attention to the Hive Lords and the Tanks. They regained their sights and senses from the previous explosion, and were not happy about the results. Their hive...destroyed. Gone. With only them left. Even their physical lair was gone beyond all sense of repair. This creature, this "True Black Devil" had taken everything from them. The only way he could repay it is if they could take his life. Which is exactly what they would do right now. Laughter. No doubt about it they heard laughter. At first it was very low, and almost inaudible, but it quickly rose itself up. The shoulders of the True Black Devil shook slightly as its head stared down for a brief moment with the grin still across its face. And now that the sounds and expressions of amusements were going, he could not hold it back. Bending each of his wrists and staring up at the sky, shoulders shaking, the True Black Devil unleashed a laughter that was filled with insanity and pure sadism. "Heh....heheh. Hehehehe....hahahah....HAHAH! AHAHAHAHAH! GAAHAHAHAHAH!" His laughter escalated very quickly, for the amount of sadistic joy he felt right now was almost completely overwhelming, so he couldn't take holding it in. He just had to let it loose before he would slaughter the rest of the Hive.

    "A wanderer isn't always lost."
The laughter, after it hit its peak, had very swiftly died down. Now all that filled the air was the deathly silent still moments. "Laughed you did..." This was a different Hive Lord that spoke up, not the one that he managed to scar right in the eye earlier. The True Black Devil almost seemed to be puzzled by the question, as if it were ludicrous to ask. "Laugh? Yes..." Standing his ground with Armageddon in one of his hands, eh prepared to defend himself from anything that they managed to throw at him. "Brothers have been killed. Murdered! Get away with this you shall not!" Seemingly puzzled once again--perhaps even insulted--the True Black Devil snarled in response to their seemingly empty threats. "Get away with it!? Of course I will! I shall eliminate you and your hive once and for all! And THE REST OF THE WORLD!" Sensing a significant change in the voice of the True Black Devil, and the attitude that he had given his fellow Hive Lord just now, the one that he scarred earlier scrunched forward. "Not the same you are. Occupying the body...different mind. Different conscious." The True Black Devil, for the most part, was unaware as to what exactly it meant. It had no recollection of Deniel. Of itself, as a matter of a fact. The only thing that was in its mind right now was that it needed to kill, and kill everything in sight. An instinct created by Deniel with his hatred and rage.

"Destruction! Rage! Kill!" Unable to communicate with words or be able to express what it was talking about any longer, the True Black Devil let out another roar. That was the only true language that it could speak right now. He roared a challenging roar, not doing it to just one, but all of the Hive Lords. And the tanks. Defeating them one at a time would be far too boring, so he needed to kill them all! Kill them all at once! Or one at a time with the rest of them attacking him. Yes...that could work. Then maybe they could provide an adequate challenge. Despite his challenge, the Hive Lords did not accept. The three remaining Tanks, however....did. Perhaps they would prove enough of a challenge. No matter. The Hive Lords could only delay his fight with him for so long; defeating the Tanks would just be one more stepping stone towards defeating them. The three Tanks all stirred from their positions, and spread out. They all walked very slowly in the open piece of land that they had been given, with two of them being on either side of the True Black Devil and the third right in front of him. He managed to kill one of them, what was three more going to be? Not to mention he figured out the strategy to killing them, anyhow.

As they positioned themselves and got ready, so did the True Black Devil. Very quickly he sheathed Armageddon on his back, and then dropped down on four of his six limbs. He gave out a low growl, as his eyes wandered to either side of himself, and then directly in front of him. This next fight was about to start, and it began with all four of its combatants revving themselves up so they could charge. The True Black Devil's only way of defeating these was to act much more like a feral beast than before.

    "A wanderer isn't always lost."
The three of them circled the True Black Devil. None of them making a move just yet, but they were all running. They had not prepared themselves for nothing, and they ran in a full circle around the True Black Devil. Its beastly eyes looked around itself, but never did it turn to face any direction other than the one it was already in. That would cause panic in turn, and would make him waste his energy. So instead he merely watched and waited for the opportune moment when they all came in to strike him. The speed in which they circled him got faster, and faster, accelerating an an astounding amount. Very soon each of them appeared to be a blur, a blur that circled around him and did not stop. The True Black Devil crunched in his current position, and awaited the perfect moment to strike. Rage filled eyes watched, and it waited, and waited, and waited. Anticipating the perfect moment in which he could catch one of them, the True Black Devil darted forward. Primarily his hind legs boosting him off the ground, his muscles in his lower area pushed his entire body off of the ground, in the process shattering part of the Earth beneath him. Shards and pieces of the Earth were shot in the opposite direction in which his smoldering feet had pushed against, leaving an imprint in which he stood. The one that was made out of the Earth was far from a perfect one, and that was due to the force exerted down upon it.

Charging forward after his clawed feet had pushed him off of the ground at great speed, the True Black Devil became surrounded in dark red Energy. After charging off of the ground, the destructive form of Energy had swiftly materialized itself right in front of the Black Devil's facial area, although it was transparent so he could see through it. Appearing as almost a meteor falling from the sky, except he was charging forward at a great pace, the True Black Devil smashed straight into one of the Tanks. First the Unholy Energy, followed very shortly by his forehead, the True Black Devil headbutted the swiftly moving Tank to catch if off guard, and knock it off course. The force was enough to practically toss it in the opposite direction, with it landing on its back. Shortly afterwards the second one was sure to come after him, and to compensate for it, he did have another limb. The second Tank came charging for him shortly after, and once he had successfully knocked away the first Tank, the second he dealt with using his tail. Circling his body around in a full three hundred and sixty degree motion, only two of his limbs as to swiftly pivot himself, the True Black Devil's mighty and muscular tail smashed straight into the second tank that came charging from the same direction as the first. Knocking it off course, with his tail still covered in Unholy Energy to enhance its force, that just left the third.

The third one the True Black Devil met dead-on, slightly getting off of his four limbs. He stood up on two, but at a very harsh angle so that he could lean himself in preparation for the force. The third tank colliding with him, and its scythes attempting to encircle him, the True Black Devil's heels were pushed in the opposite direction. If he did not lean his body in and plant his feet firmly, he would have most likely been knocked off balance. His heels digging into the Earth and creating shards and shatters from the force created, he eventually stopped the Tank's charge. Two of his palms had been cut into, and were bleeding from the scythes, but that was not a bother to him. Making sure to put his other two hands to use, he grabbed on to the face of the enormous creature, and used strength far superior compared to the size of the Tank to flip it over on its side and away from him. The true fight had now begun.

    "A wanderer isn't always lost."
Shortly after knocking the very last one on his side utilizing his enormous strength, The True Black Devil went for him. His fellow Tanks were on their backs or sides as well, and once flung there, it was very difficult for them to get back on to their feet once again. Their colossal bodies and weight was exceptionally difficult to flip over, and the entire point of them were to be immovable juggernauts that could not be stirred. However, since no being they have faced before managed to accomplish such a task, they were not particularly experienced in the ways of getting back on their feet after falling. The True Black Devil pushed himself off of the ground and flung himself towards one that was on its side. Burying his claws deep inside of the softer flesh that was contained in its underbelly, he latched himself right on to it with blood seeping out and past his claws. Making a much more savage approach to defeating this one as he did the other ones, the True Black Devil opened up its mouth, and then sank its teeth deep into the flesh of the Tank's underbelly. The taste of its blood was absolutely disgusting and vile, but that was not the reason the True Black Devil had done it. Blood gushed out of the wounds and on to his mouth and teeth, further causing him to feel disgusted by these creatures. With his fangs inside of its flesh, he removed them, and once again bit straight down on to it.

With his teeth inside for a second time, the True Black Devil was about to use the numerous holes in the flesh created so he could rip off a majority of its underbelly's flesh using his teeth. Just before the True Black Devil could begin tugging and pulling the flesh apart, something caught him before he was able to do anything. One of the other tanks had finally managed to get back on its feet, and with its enormous scythe, he flung the True Black Devil off of its brother. After struggling for a few minutes, the Tank had poured all of its strength into rocking itself to one side, which caused a very small tip in its balance over in one direction. Using that small tip the Tank gave it one more attempt, until finally it was back on its enormous limbs. Seeing one of its brothers being bitten into by the True Black Devil, the tank charged, and positioned one of its scythe limbs in between the Devil's body, and the underbelly of the other tank. With its scythe swiftly in position, it violently jerked its body and muscles to rip the Black Devil's teeth right off of the other tank's underbelly, and send him flying in the opposite direction.

Smoldering scales sliding across the Earth and cracking it upon the impact, before shortly displacing it as his body flew, the True Black Devil very swiftly recovered himself from the powerful assault. In the moment that he did, he felt his power being drained briefly. The lava covering his body had started to dissipate, and he felt his power waning. His time here was coming to an end...but not for long. The True Black Devil had been storing up energy from every strike that he made, and every insect that he killed. And now with an enormous amount of it stored up, he could use it all. Perhaps not even all of it. Using a majority of that energy stored up, the True Black Devil extended his time here.

    "A wanderer isn't always lost."
"Destruction!" It started out in his arms and feet. The glowing and smoldering material of lava engraved into gaps of his skin that flowed like a river straight into the jewel in his chest began to dissipate. In inferior quantities at first, only at his toes, but it had rapidly begun to drain. Like a draining pipe, the lava on his scales had drained themselves, no longer giving off the bright yellow glow and smoke to conceal a majority of his body. As it started to go towards his chest area, the True Black Devil became alarmed given the current situation. If it lost its power and strength, it would no longer exist...the body would be given back to Deniel. And most likely that moron would kill the three of them. So, he decided to use that pocket of energy. For every blow that he had dealt so far to the Hive had built up a single stack of "Take Over Energy" as Deniel called it, but the True Black Devil could care less. This energy was separate to his Magic Power, and when enough of it had built up, it had the capabilities of forcing his Magic Power to once again use a spell that needed time to recharge. This was done by the Energy that was built up assisting the Magic Power in activating the spell, and permanently eliminating itself in the process, like the body burning fat for energy. And upon the utterance of the word Destruction, sounding much more like a distinct mumble, the lava on his body flowed like a river back to their initial positions. The smoldering image was created once again, with a yellow and orange glow right behind a wall of smoke.

The Tank that he had previously chewed the flesh on managed to get back on its feet, and so did the third. He was able to distinguish the one that he attacked as blood was dripping fast from its underbelly and down on to the ground, and that became his mark. He would kill that one first. Dropping down to four of his six limbs once more, he gave a few stomps on the ground using all four of them.

The fight had begun once more. All four beasts roared at each other, with three of them giving the same roar at their target. The fourth one, the True Black Devil, unleashed a saliva-spitting savage roar that was unlike any other creature that they had heard before. Without any further notice, the Black Devil went for the tank that was in the center. Pushing himself off of all four of his limbs in a charge, this time not covered in Unholy Energy but still powerful, he had gone for the center one for a specific reason. He recognized that one to be the one that he assaulted earlier, not just from the blood dripping down, but also from its scent. The True Black Devil was such an animal, he had begun to chose to recognize these creatures by their unique scent rather than anything else.
