Interesting, a camp for the mages to all gather and hang. Ignite had showed him quite the interesting place, maybe they could hang around for a little bit. The location of course was from an area he never visited and heard of. Something called Divide Island, which he can only assume meant it had something to do with something splitting. The land possibly? Well if that were the case, the islands that were split would become their own islands, it would not be a jointed island that is considered split. Regardless, they were invited to check out the scenery, which honestly did not seem like a bad vacation idea. The She Phoenix seemed to think so as well, since she was the one that presented the paper to him. Rising up from his bed with a straight back, he would roll himself out of the bed and smile as he then walked over to his closet and opened it. While he was looking through the closet, he would be lost once again in his own thoughts. This was sort of familiar now that he thought about it. It was not something recent for sure, otherwise he would have remembered it. Possibly something in Shadelle? Maybe, not that he bothered to remember many things from that tribe. But where else could he have this weird vibe from? It was not such a good one as well, maybe it would not hurt to do a little bit more than dress himself for a camp. There were going to be mages after all, and the fliers that the scientist sent did not clarify that the mages were legal, neutral, or dark. For all he knew, they could have been using them all as some sort of test subject and need mixed variables. Provided that be the case, there was sure to be some quick backstabbing. Tilting his head to the side, he would think about what he would need. Probably... Everything now that he thought about it. If there were scientists that were after him as well as mages, he needed every single tool and weapon that he had. Though he did not have too many, he had a versatile set of things to work with anyways.

Celestial Spirits keys were going to be crucial for this camp, they were going to help with the guild pet and Ignite, outnumbering the enemies. Then Aiyana can summon things on her own as well, plus Elyx with his own Wind Phoenix, there will be a whole army of summons and beings to help them get out of there. Realizing this, he would already have some peace of mind. His lips formed into a smile, though he was still going to prepare for the worst anyways. Welcome to Fiore, you have to be careful all of the time.

He tipped over to the clothing to see what he would find inside of it. The first thing for the boy to do is grab a pair of pants. He got a long, acid blue pair of jeans, nothing too skinny since he knew that he would need the movement, and tight pants cut off his movement in an instant. The jeans were also placed and wrapped with a nice white belt as well to keep his pants from falling off once it begins to hold things. The first thing that Elyx placed on both sides of his pants were his two sword sheathes, in which he holds some rather light weapons, but any weapon alone can make the pants fall. These two weapons were Knight Iris and Mystic Knight Iris. Once he clicked the sheathes in place, he looked over to his armory and clicked open the lock in order to pull out both blades. There was a mirror right there, and the boy could not help but laugh since he looked like a survivor of the end of the world, ready for combat with his swords, but he did not even have a shirt on due to the extreme weather and the lack of movement that his jacket would provide. A few battle scars would be nice to help enhance the look, but other than that, the boy would have to just deal with it as it is. The next thing Elyx added onto his set of moves was the shirt itself, a white T-Shirt with no special features, this was to keep his body cool since he was planning to wear a jacket. It was not cold or anything, at least, it was not a cold day in Black Rose once the boy got used to the weather system or anything, but the boy liked to keep his jacket since that is where the items are located. To somewhat help his case, the jacket was white as well, so it was not going to burn him to a crisp like some other wares might be able to do. Once he zipped the jacket up to the right amount, about halfway up his chest, he looked at how his hair was. An utter mess as usual when someone were to get up in the morning. Well, it was not like there were many clients to see today. Kakuma did not like to think of herself as a higher power over anyone, she tried to make things as democratic as possible, giving everyone a fair choice and answer for the guild. That is one of the reasons why the guild is legal. The other though... In which Elyx can be associated with dark wizards and possibly get blamed for their actions, that was not exactly the most lighthearted of thoughts. The final piece of equipment he placed onto his body was Leviathan Iris Armor, the armor designed to somewhat limit his movement for an exchange of amazing amounts of defensives and an okay amount of healing power. Cassie could help him with the defenses, but the fact that he had this option as well was amazing. This was how Elyx saw it. This was how he saw it. With Cassies Overshield ability, she was able to block almost double of what Leviathan Iris can. Now, with Leviathan Iris, that would be about five hits before actually getting to Elyx. There was some sort of other defense that he remembered that he could use to set it up to around 7 or 8, but that did not seem to be coming to his mind right now. He shrugged it off and ignored it as he stood back up and looked in the mirror again as he looked at his golden armor, then nodded to himself in the mirror with approval. He was now set off to the camp. Probably the most prepared mage out of them all.

And who could forget about the Celestial Spirit Keys, which he had placed in his right pocket, a chain holding it so that the pouch of keys would not suddenly be sent flying, nor would they have to endure someone trying to steal from them. Originally, it was just meant for Iza, he took major security measures just to make sure the Tanuki does not do anything to the little keys. But now he'll realize that she is not the only reason for the chain if he did not equip it, thus making him very wary of the chain and will make sure to guard the keys at all costs. There were spirits in the keys with their own personalities and feelings. All right Elyx, are you ready to go? I do not want to be late for the camp you know!

Does it mention us needing to be there at some sort of specific time? The Wind Slayer would ask as he tilted his head to the side. He thought he had read it clearly, and he did not even remember a single number digit appearing on the piece of paper. Ignite would confirm his question to be rightly asked, scratching the back of her head as she weakly replied to him. No, but why are we just going to stand here when we could be out there at the camp having fun and meeting new mages! Come on, lets GO! She would impatiently demand.

Divide Island was surprisingly not too far away from Black Rose. It was merely walking distance to that of a normal human, let alone an S ranked mage walking alongside a She Phoenix. It placed a smile onto his face to see it so close, and with such a sight as well. Still though, it did not make sense as to how it could be called one Island when it was split into two. It might as well have been two islands. Unless there was a tiny little bridge that connected one to another that he was missing, but based on his previous experiences and current knowledge of Fiore, he figured that such possibilities were unlikely. Still however, the place did look rather bright and sunny, especially for a place with a lot of mountains. If he had to guess, the camp was located on top of one of the mountains. This bold prediction came from the fact that there were probably going to be plenty of mages who were to arrive at the camp. However, they were all going to be mages, those who had the strength to endure the climbing with such ease. If it were like a Boot Camp, their bodies would be prepared to go back up and down the mountain over and over again. Anyone who was not a mage would clearly show it with their lack of stamina, thus forcing them to get out of there before they lose too much energy. It was a training camp for mages for a reason, it was highly unlikely that tolerance for such endurance would be weak. It was just for their own good though, they have to develop the skills of a mage the way any other mage did, all the way from the bottom and climbing up all the way towards the top. There were no shortcuts to the road to success, or some sort of quote like that.

Then again, the way he heard of that quote was form a photo of a Lacrima powered truck back in Shadelle where it showed that truck having a similar quote to that attached to it on the side. The truck crashed because it was too short, and there was a highway where it could have taken a detour. Sure, it might have been longer, but it was clearly the better path, and definitely a not a shortcut. There was a term that many people used currently for such situations. It went by the name, Irony. Well deserved as well, if you dare promote such a thing, you best be ready to back it up. Otherwise, you would be labeled as a hypocrite, one of the worst titles to carry onto your head.

And so the both of them would make their climb up the mountain. A bit of a bumpy path since it was a landform, but it was a straight road designed to lead them to the top for sure. Admittedly, due to its age, it might not be the most stable area that one could find themselves in. Ignite almost ended up on the receiving end of danger as she almost slipped off the edge of the road and would have had to endure a 500 meter current drop. They did not even scratch the surface of how far up they would have to go, but such a height would have killed her regardless. Fortunately, Elyx slid his body onto the rock and swiped his right palm downwards, swinging it like a pendulum so that his palm would meet hers, and their hands would connect as Ignite's life had been saved once again. This time, the Wind Slayer would not blame her, and so he would grin as he pulled her back up, despite this probably not being a moment to laugh. Even during the worst of times, they were still able to recover. So how long is camp supposed to last again? I mean, it is training, I doubt we would cover it in only a day. Elyx would ask, his hands behind his head as he looked up to the sky. It was not what one would call a good day, since it was kind of dark as they were climbing up. That was odd, since it was supposed to currently be morning. At noon, the sun should be directly above their heads, so why was it getting darker? This was something that he jotted down in the back of his mind, but then he'd forget as he then received an answer from the She Phoenix. Turning his head at her direction, he would notice the piece of paper in her hands. All right, it seems lik she was checking.

It does not have a certain amount of time placed on it. Odd considering events such as this probably would explain it. Ignite explained. Not bothering to let herself stress over it, she would smile before folding the piece of paper. Maybe you are wrong and they are planning to make this whole camp thing last for a day. Mages are pretty busy, and they do have to work on jobs to obtain their living you know. Case and point taken. However, the Wind Slayer would tilt his head as they neared the top of the mountain they were climbing after about half an hour. It still did not make sense to him, but without evidence, the conversation would only end up in circles.

As they made it to the top, the whole camp site would be made, though it was definitely fancier than expected. Fancier as in there were houses already set up for mages, it seemed like this truly was an invite only sort of thing. The homing was rather familiar to each other, a small dorm that seemed like an apartment sized room could fill it. Still though, it beat the typical camping scenarios where mages had to sleep under the stars and hope they they were the strongest to get the tent. It seems like this was going to last for more than a day. So, why exactly did they have to stay for more than one day? It was clearly going to be more than about a week per say, that would explain why each of them had their own housing. Though he did not agree with their logic, this was how he was going to train. It made him question the structure of the mountains and how it connected to sat, the bathroom. There was also the question of electricity, but before giving the chance to ask, Ignite would already dash towards the center circle where there was a pile of sticks. Seems there would be a bonfire or something of the sort. But taking a little bit closer of a look, his light brown eyes would lock onto the water surrounding it. Wet sticks? Why was there water around it? Then again, there might be a water mage who might have put out the fire. Wait, no, this whole thing starts today, was there possibly one who passed by here recently? And why was there a fire set up in the first place while they were still a bit early, and the whole training was supposed to start at one, not noon. for a fire to be put up already was unusual, and this time, he was not so willing to let it go. However, the Wind Slayer would not be given a chance to observe the scene further as he was then greeted by a mage from behind him.

Hey there, are you okay? Your eyes seemed to be staring into space.
The male voice would explain, and though he was behind the Lerale mage, he was still able to identify his eyes and their location. Shaking his head to act like he was alright, a smile would appear on his face before turning around to meet the mage who had addressed him. A blonde, spiky haired and everything, it was sort of like looking into a mirror. His clothes were a bit more modern compared to the Wind Slayer, but that was their only real difference. Everything was brought down to color.

Yeah, just thinking of a few things back home, ya know? How the babysitter will handle my sisters cat and all. Know what I mean? The Wind Slayer would explain, in a lie of course. Why would he try to stir up trouble in this training camp? It was going to be stressful enough at the end of it anyways. The other mage tilted his head to the side, seemed like a common trait among them nowadays. His flow of magic was surprisingly equal to Elyx's if they were to end up in a fight, the battle would be one he would have to think out will if he wanted to ensure a victory. Fortunately, this was not going to be the case since he seemed rather nice. Then again, who would be from a Dark Guild and scream it to the world? This thought alone made the Wind Slayer's muscles tend up a little bit, making sure that nothing would happen to him. Using his sensing, all within 75 meters will be sensed by him, his perfect all seeing eye ability pretty much had him covered. I know how you feel. Though you probably should know something. In this life, you must do what you can to survive you know. Though lying may seem like a good idea, when you confront a stranger, you can only rely on their words and hope that they are being honest. The male mage would explain before bringing his head back to normal, placing his hands into his pockets. Then his lips would reveal a smile onto his face, showing forgiveness. What magic did he have to be able to see through the Wind Slayer's lie? Possibly telepathy? Mind-Reading? Or maybe Elyx was just a bad liar. All three of them sounded bad, but when balanced on a three way spectrum, he knew which one he would hope was not the case.

Sorry about that, you can never be too careful. I'm just thinking abou- Elyx would try to explain what he was actually thinking of, but the blonde mage placed his palm out as a signal to stop him. The Wind Slayer would form his lips into a small shaped "o" before he then would question why he had been stopped. The puddle, I assume you mean to say? It is kind of odd, but at least we know there is a Water mage around here. Still though, I would not give it too much thought, in all honesty, it's not worth it. Know what I mean? He would ask before giving the brunette a slight punch to the shoulder, a friendly one that made him emit a chuckle from his lips. Maybe the blonde was right, it should not be a topic of concern. At least, not for now. So Elyx decided to officially drop it.

The name is Tyme. I don't have a guild, but from the land I come from, my tribe is pretty well know. It goes by the name, Haydelle. If you have ever heard of it. Well, of course Elyx has heard of it, well that last part. But the fact that Haydelle existed? There was no way! So many questions shot through his mind before the Wind Slayer would be able to force out some of the questions, or at least try before he was then cut off with a chuckle from Tyme. So you come from Shadelle? Then I guess it does make sense as to why you don't know us... Hopefully you don't hold a grudge against me, do you? I had nothing to do with- And now a cutoff from Elyx himself, and man did it feel good to be the one to snatch the drivers seat from this interesting being. However, he did not hold some sort of grudge against him or his tribe until just now. Hold it right there. First off, I do not go to Shadelle anymore, I am not a member of their tribe and do not care to return as a member of it. It is only in my blood, but that is all. He would state before then holding up a pair of fingers, his pointer and middle ones. It was to show that he was going to list things, hopefully it did not last too long. Secondly, I did not even know of Haydelle for a while, so why would I hold a grudge against it? They never did any harm to be me personally, so I do not care to have any sort of anger problems with them. And just like that, maybe the Wind Slayer might have made his first friend from a different tribe. But now that he thought about it, this was sort of like how Alcore made friends with the other tribes as well, a risky tactic that had huge consequences if he were caught. However, he grew to be the most famous mage of all the tribes. As for Elyx, he did not even belong to Shadelle anymore, he could befriend as many tribes as he felt. This did however spark a new set of questions, like how many of the supposably dead tribes are still out there? Did Cain hide the truth from him and the tribe? Possibly, since it would probably be hard to only have Elyx be ignorant to it. Many kids talked about different things, none of them could keep a secret to save their life. So provided none of them had the knowledge, none of them were able to spread it. You can't give what you don't have.

So your tribe works with only one name. That is cool, mine works with a first and last name. My name is Elyx, Elyx Reiaki to be formal. The Wind Slayer would explain with a smile on his face, and just like that, these both became acquaintances at the very least. But before the both of them were able to carry out their conversation any further, a third of them would arrive. She had white hair that was let loose and free. Her clothing was simply a kimono and wooden sandals, maybe it would not be such a good idea to have her running too much. Then again, her clothing style was her choice, and surprisingly enough, based on his magic sensing abilities, he was able to identify the amount of magic that she had in her body. And he had to admit, he was in much shock, just the same amount that he had, which was devastating. All of the powerful mages that still had work to do seemed to arrive here. But what business did she have here with the both of them? Hello there. I could not help but over here that you both are from tribes as well? I come from Klaydelle, have either of you heard of it? She would ask with a quiet voice. The three of them together looked a bit odd, but if what the girl claimed was true, they all belonged to the tribes. And they all were at peace, no fighting over borders or anything. Despite their differences, the feeling they had around each other felt so natural. I have heard of Klaydelle, it's rather near Shadelle. Though those two are constantly at each others necks. It is so stupid in my opinion. Elyx would explain before looking over to Tyme, who shrugged and shook his head, raising his palms to amplify the fact that he no idea. I have never heard of it sadly, but if Elyx claims it exists, then I guess it does. Kind of weird how I don't know of Klaydelle, but I do of Shadelle. He would explain before shrugging of that weird fact. A smile would appear on his face before he then looked back at the girl. And what might your name be? He would ask, rightly so. If she was listening to their conversation, it was very likely that she was also able to hear them spill their name to each other. So it was only fair that she spilled her own as well. The girl gave a shy smile, a very small one, but one that was noticeable by the both of them. How exactly did she reach so much power when it comes to magic again, while she does not seem to have the strength to hold up a conversation. My name is Kitten, though many like to call me Neko.

So that made three of them from a tribe. Now maybe they could work together to get through the training. With a versatile set of mages with different sorts of magic, to create a course that will benefit them all would be hard. Maybe they would all receive an individual set of courses to do. If that were the case, getting to each other would not be so easy. Then again, the ones running the thing can't possibly outnumber them and look over all of them at the same time, could then? Well, Elyx has been surprised before by this sort of thing, maybe this was no different. Still though, he did not want to accept things like that so quickly, an optimistic view of life must be kept at all costs. Well Neko, we will be going to undergo quite a bit of training, eh? Feeling ready for the task? Elyx would ask as he lightly hopped up and down, warming up his body. The girl would close her eyes with her small shy smile still clipped in place as she gave him her quiet reply, it was almost drowned out by the soft sound of the rocky ground and his boots. Maybe, I do not know yet. I want to find out though. She would explain, a bit vague of an answer given to him. Was that why she came here, to see if she were capable of going through some sort of training camp? With her level of magic, the Wind Slayer felt confident in his abilities. Still, any chance to improve himself he would take without giving it a second thought. So for that to be the case, maybe it was best he leave Neko alone about it.

And you Tyme? How do you feel about this? The Lerale magician would ask before turninghis head over to the blonde mage, who only placing his palm over his lips as he took time to think about it. Was it that hard a question? Then again, none of them knew what exactly they were going to do, nor did they know the ones who were even executing the training camp. Maybe if he had a bit of distance cut between the directors and himself, he could make a better assumption. But for now, the Blonde would just shrug before giving his most honest reply. I don't think it would be fair to say I'm ready or not ready when I don't even know what I should be ready for. All I can do is hope for the best. He'd explain, a reasonable answer. As for the brunette himself, he felt like he was able to take on whatever obstacles placed in front of him

Attention Campers! For those who have just arrived, please take this moment to interact with all of the fellow campers as we are setting up the camp site! Once this has been done, we will gladly welcome you to the camp! A lacrima from above would blare out a voice of that of a female. It was not too formal, but her tone told him that they were trying to be as informal when talking to them as possible. Who knows why? Then again, maybe modern mages were just stupid and the people running the thing felt like they had to speak to the campers like children? Oh well, it did not matter, they were able to get their message across. It seemed like just a message in general, so he would then ignore it. Tyme was the one to take the drivers seat in the conversation now.Why don't we go meet that other girl that you were with? I saw you walking with some girl with red hair. She seemed nice. The blonde would announce. Neko turned her head to the side, was this some sort of common trait that the tribes shared? However, naturally, she did not ask anything, her facial expression told the story. Elyx would let out a sigh before he would open his mouth, only for the She Phoenix to suddenly take the wheel from behind him. At this point, he had expected such, so he did not even try to question when she snuck up behind him. I am that nice girl with red hair. My name is Ignite Rosella, I work alongside Elyx right here. She would announce before giving a formal bow. With a smile on his face, Tyme would greet her with a bow as well, respect being shown to her. Neko would just chuckle a little bit as the She Phoenix made her usual entrance. As for Elyx, he would scratch the back of his head in embarrassment before looking over to the entrance. Many mages were entering now, had time really passed that quickly? Or were they all just early as well? either way, they were here, all these mages that he had to try to stand out above, it was not going to be an easy task as he felt their magic flow. None of them seemed impossible however, if he showed the most determination, he would be able to surpass them. And so that was the plan, just try his hardest to shine and he'll have the most development. It was a rather sketchy idea, and the logic behind it was clearly not there. But there was some chance of it randomly happening, the Wind Slayer could only hope that he was right.

It seems like all of the greetings have been set in place, and now it was time for the camp, because according to the sun clock, it was one. this was a trick that Elyx used when he was a Lerale mage, he held up his hand and placed it out onto the ground. The fingers each represented 15 minutes, and the hand itself meant one hour. That was how far back from the sun you had to go back in order to tell the time. So saw the distance between the ground and the sun was three hands long, then you subtract 3 from twelve, and you would have nine A.M, because if it was nine and the sun was out, it was most likely that it was morning. If it were night, it would be the moon, and the trick did not work on the moon. We should meet at the middle to see what the others are doin- A cutoff that did not let him finish speaking would join the fray. The mountain ground because to shake, just a little bit though. It felt weird, but something told him that it was not part of the program. Something seemed to be going on below, but what exactly? His light brown eyes would shift towards Ignite to meet her purple eyes, but in response, she would only shrug. Looking over to Tyme, he would just place his hands in his pocket, giving the same shrug that Ignite did. And finally, he looked over to Neko to see if there was any data from her. Instead of shrugging her shoulders like the others did, she would just simply shake her head from side to side, trying to be subtle about it as well. They all had the same amount of data that he did, meaning it was safe to assume that the other campers had no idea what was going on. Maybe the ones who had the thing set up was trying to bring some sort of dynamic entrance? It would have failed, because now they were all tensed up.

A sudden screech would emit from the speakers all over the scene. It seemed like that was part of the program? To him, it sounded more like someone was being hi jacked. What the hell was going on? Who has the microphone, and what was going on? He, HELP! Evacuate! RUN FOR YOUR LIVES! The voice would exclaim. Now this could mean two things. One, that this was a drill. Or two, that this was actually real and that they should bail out quickly. Both sounded boring in his opinion, but the first one seemed more realistic to him, so he would stand there while some did run.

Well, it seemed like waiting them out was a bad idea, the ground was shaking a lot harder this time. The mountain seemed to have a little bit more than what met the eye. So for such a thing, the four of them and the rest of the campers were now trap on top of the mountain, their exit now being destroyed unless they wanted to plunge all the way to the ground. Some of the campers took such a stupid risk, and sadly, no one was able to save them before gravity took the campers far away from the palms of those who reached them. Desperate attempts were desperate, but fortunately, none of them seemed to be running away now when they witness what had happened to the other mages. It was a shame to learn from only the fall of others, but provided the group understood what their actions could do to them, then maybe it was not such a bad thing, at least, not for them now. For those who lost their lives, well, that was not able to be prevented now. We can not just stay here you know, we will die of starvation. Tyme would say to him, only for Ignite to then add into the conversation. The words that spewed from her lips actually made some sort of sense, while they had no escape, they did have their own homes and loads of supplies. Until there was support to bring them down, they would have to survive on the materials. Well, there was a reason why we were brought here with these buildings. There are bound to be some sort of set of supplies, right? We also would need a leader of the group until help came. The She Phoenix would announce, and heads turned as she had said that. For such an idea to occur to her, it seemed brilliant, and since she was the one who came up with the idea... Wow, was it really that easy to win the favor of others? By merely conceiving of an idea?

A few thought that she should not do it, and those people had logic on their side. But the remaining reclusive few definitely believed that the She Phoenix should lead them. So with that, she would look up to think about it, before then nodding her head, but keeping her face neutral. Maybe Elyx did teach her well about being a leader, making sure you had respect, not favor. Charisma only gets you so far, and though it was important, respect was the most crucial element of being a leader. And so she would make her first announcement. Everyone, we each have one home, plus the rest of the camps homes. We will gather the supplies from their homes and leave that for extras. Seeing the supply of food in the fridges that we have, we are going be able to last a week on it. So at the most, we will have to live on two weeks of food. She announced, and so she would continue with the speech to give the people their orders. The people were circling around the party, the four of them would look around, three with smiles and one with her face neutral. Care to guess which one had which? There were small talkers among the crowd, but they were all positively speaking about her, which was good, they were understanding her logic. Ignite would look to Elyx, as if to say "Am I doing this right? Or am I screwing up?" The Wind Slayer's smile would return the response with a reply that went along the lines of "You are doing a great job, keep going, they are all listening to you." And with that, Ignite would nod her head before giving the next set schedule. We are all going to have different roles and switch accordingly! A third of the camp will guard us and look for help during the afternoon, starting from one to nine! A third of the camp will do the same during the night! And a third will do it from five to one! Anytime we are being attacked, the guards will holler out, which will signal those who are awake of the attack that is going on. We all will be sleeping differently and interacting wit each other differently, but remember that we are now a family! Any grudges you might have held against each other, put those aside, because all of our lives are being put on the line. All right!?

And like that, she would put a victorious fist into the air, and the rest of what she called the "Family" would be raising their fists in the air as they cheered, having hope that they will survive. It was easy to make a speech, sure, but the trouble was when they actually were going to have to survive. If they were able to do it, can they keep their sanity? It was a nice plan, though the interaction will be a bit rough since the sleeping will be varying among each other. But 16 hours of rest while 8 hours of working seemed like a fair trade. 8 of the resting hours could be for sleep, and then the rest would be used to have fun, or as much fun as they could anyways. Just as long as they do not accidentally fall off at least.

So the shifts were set, the four of them would be taking night shifts that was the hardest ones. Many people were taking a liking to her already as their leader. Within only a few hours, they were able to name the family as the "Rosella" family. Rosella was the last name that Elyx gave to Ignite, Ignite Rosella. It was meant to be a symbol to show that she was born of Black Rose, not of anything else. And now there was a whole group of mages that were willing to follow her. Her alone time was important, her and the party at least. Her feet would hang over the ledge of the mountain as she looked up to the sky. You know, this is the first time I am actually going to be able to do something like this. It is kind of hard, thinking that I could be in a nice and warm cozy bed, but I am out here in the cold night as it is starting. It's kind of pathetic in my opinion, maybe I was not ready for such a thing. The She Phoenix would announce, her face neutral as it refused to give away a single bit of emotion. Neko was not so quick to let the She Phoenix say that. You know Ignite, they like you. They look up to you, and rightly so you know. She would say, which left the rest of them to expect her to say something more, but Neko was Neko, and Neko was a quiet one. Tyme was going to pick up on the slack however, he was a bit more expressive and social. Yeah, plus you make the great plan of keeping a full watch for help and to defend. There are about 50 mages on the mountaintop ready for battle instead of 150 sleepless and helpless mages who might as well have dropped dead. If anything, you were the best person to choose for this job. And with that, he would pat the She Phoenix on the back to comfort her. Elyx would smile as he looked up into the starry sky as well, he had faith that she would be able to lead them to victory, help had to be on the way after the tribes and the guilds realized that they were gone. A rescue party was bound to come for them. However, for now, they were going to have to stay up on the mountain and keep on living. Their sanity will have to be constantly checked as well, because if one got too desperate, they might try to fight and even kill each other for supplies. And if someone were sick, Elyx would only have so much power to heal people. He was a Sky Deity Slayer, lucky for them, but if he was the only mage with the ability to heal, many mages were going to be quite sick.

Day 1 of Survival up in the Mountain.

Well, this is probably going to be my first entry. Elyx gave me you, the journal, quite a while ago when I told him I would have a diary. I never really used you, which was just to bug him, but I think he had grown used to it by now. Oh well, at least you have some use now. I am writing in you because I feel like this would be a great trip to remember, and I have to admit, I am not lying when I tell you that I am scared. Say we do not make it by the end of the two weeks, well, at least there would be some purpose for this. To find out what the hell made this whole thing happen in the first place. Anyways, I should probably start filling this with useful information, rather than just some emotions. I obtained the night patrol, my good friends Elyx Reiaki, Tyme, and Neko all told me that I would be a great leader. It gave me comfort, despite me still having doubts on it. Elyx always did mention how stubborn I could be, but I can't help it, this is just beyond something I should be doing. I like being the backseat driver, but now the role of the leader has come to me. With the help of the Wind Slayer and the two other mages, this journey will not be done alone. The people really think that I could lead them, all because I had the idea to make us all a society. How naive, but they have hope. There are currently 167 of us right now, 53 of us a on the night shift. Nothing really too major as I am writing this, there is only one hour left of the night before we have to enter day 2. The most information I can give you was that this was a clear day, nothing came to help us, but nothing also came to attack us. We have food supply for two weeks as of right now. I hope we do not have to wait that long. Provided the mages party and have fun, I guess things will be all right provided they did not go overboard with the food and drinks. I know they won't, there is meat, bread, cheese, and water, not much to work with. Plus, without any certainty that they would be able to have more food, they know better and learned to store it. Seems like they did get the amount of power that they did for a reason. I should not let my guard be so high, I guess it's because I don't know them well enough yet. Is that wrong?

Elyx thought to himself about the tribes, he met two people from two different tribes, one that he did not even know exist. They seemed like good people, and what about his own that he thought were coming after him? There were no more assassin's coming for his life, so why should he stress his whole life into killing Cain? And he blamed all of Shadelle for it at well, threatening to sink it to the ground until Iza then smacked senses back into him. Never will he remember how hard her backhand was, and he dare not try to anger her to that point again. And though he was stronger now, she still had a very good point. Shadelle was a home to many creatures and beings. The thing to do now was let it be and live his own life, making a living that he can enjoy forever to come. It was kind of blissful for these to be his thoughts. Though there currently is much more in his life to do, he still felt like he had completed some sort of bucket list. He could die happy, but he won't die period. There were still some questions. They were about Nea. They were about Adrelissa. They were about Mr. Takaro. And until they were solved, he had no intent on dying. And even after he had his answers, there was a certain insane tanuki that he had to keep in check. She had the attention span of a two year old, and her view of fun is to purposely annoy others, but that was why he was here. To guide her, to stop her from doing such stupid things like that. It was unfortunate that she would act so selfishly just to have fun, putting others at risk, but everyone had their flaws. Elyx definitely did as well, like not being in his home long enough. Not many people know him personally due to his time away from the guild, and that was his fault admittedly, but he recognized it. Once you recognize a problem, you are able to fix it. With a smile on his face, he would have been out of Iceberg right now. The night time sky was twinkling with pretty little stars for him to watch, creating their own performance show for him to enjoy. The night was quiet, which was nice for his chaotic mind since it was so used to noise, he would not think in such a relaxing way. And now he can have peace of mind. His hands in his pockets, the light wind blowing on his clothes, he'd eventually feel the warmth of the air once again rather than the cold. It was gentle on his skin.

The Hive (Solo/Job) Empty Re: The Hive (Solo/Job)

Post by King Elyx 22nd April 2016, 1:52 pm

Seems like the night was silent, for now at least. The parties did seem to last throughout the whole shift, those who stayed up best prepare themselves for their morning shift. The ones who did sleep probably would not suffer as much. Ignite was going to have someone keep a count of the amount of people in their family currently before thinking of any new plans. That person would lie within one per group. Meanwhile, she would also ask about food supplies and the sanity of the mages, seeing if there is anyone planning to stab their backs, and would react to it before it could possibly happen. Having a society was definitely hard, but she seemed to have everything under control. After the shift had ended, the four of them, Elyx, Ignite, Tyme, and Neko would all go try to get some sleep. The next shift of mages would be on guard as the sun rose up, just in time, it seems like the clocks in their dorms were working just fine. With a smile on her face, she would let out a relaxed sigh as she slept on the bed in her dorm, the stress was quickly relieved with the soft touch of a mattress. Meanwhile, the rest of them would remain in their dorms, thinking about the tribes and their structure. So many questions that they had for each other. Lets say that this was going to be their last few weeks of survival, they might as well know the truth from each other, right? But how were they going to approach each other with such questions? For one thing, to just randomly pop up into the scene and say "Yo, I need some information and you have it, so spill" would probably startle each other, especially Neko, who can not seem to string a sentence with a bit of confident in her tone. Thus, this left them to stay up a little bit more before eventually, the sleep that was heavily needed was warning them with another yawn that they needed to go down, all at the same time. Though they were separated by the dorms, their bodies seem to adjust in the same way. And now, they would all go to sleep, sweet dreams.

The guards on the outside did not have a problem for the first few hours. However, on the fifth hour of their shift, a huge swarm of what seemed like Bee's ambushed them. A couple of the mages were injured, one was dead, but that was all. The rest were let off without wounds, but that did not mean they did not lose a mage. One less mouth to feed... And one less hand to get help from.

Post by King Elyx 22nd April 2016, 1:53 pm

Once the four of them woke up from their current state, they had an hour left before the afternoon shift would arrive, meaning that Ignite had seven hours of sleep while Elyx, Tyme, and Neko all had six and a half hours of sleep. Pretty decent, and now they had nine hours to do whatever they could do for fun while stranded on top of the mountain. Many of the guards went to Ignite to tell her of the incident, showing that she was unable to go a single second of the day without being interrupted. So getting up and out of her bed with only undergarments and a loose T-Shirt, she would walk out to investigate what had occurred. They had a right to be worried, now there were three bodies lying on the ground, two of them hurt and one of them dead. With the dead one, there was not much they could do, a proper burial should be set. With the strength of a giant, one of them mages volunteered to punch the ground below them to put it into the ground. The She Phoenix would tell him not to do that however, since that was the area that they were standing on, and if they weaken it too much, they might fall through, an accidental suicide. The best that she could think of was leaving the body in the dorm of the one who had died. This was probably going to reek that dorm of death, so of course they were going to have to take out all of the supplies and place it in one of the other empty dorms. This was going to be a time-consuming process, but at least the dead were respected. The mage that tried to fight fought for their family, it costed him his life, it would be unfair to just toss him over the edge of the mountain. Elyx in the meantime would cast out a bit of magic onto the two hurt mages, not many of them were hurt fortunately, but that did not mean they were quite off the hook yet. For one thing, he was able to hear something odd... Something like, buzzing. The reports of bees were possibly true, and if that were the case, they were standing on top of a beehive, always fun... On the plus side, they know that no mages on the ground can come up. The bad side however was that no mages on the ground can come up... To help them. There's always bad news with good news. Plus, with a swarm of fifteen of the bees now missing, it would only be a matter of time before another attack was declared by them. The family had best get ready.

"So we have met with a fatality, anything we should do to try to prevent it?" Tyme would ask as he would look over to Ignite, the She Phoenix not quite able to come up with a solution. After literally giving it a minute of the, she would sigh as she would shake her head. It was expected, the stress of being a leader was getting to her. Neko would not let her bring herself down just quite yet. With a pat on the back, the white haired mage would encourage her. "It's fine Ignite, you are doing great. There were a lot of the enemies, it was expected that this would happen. With the amount of people who need to sleep and socialize so they don't go crazy, to have fifty was a miracle." Neko would explain, putting a small smile on the face of the She Phoenix. They were a lot better at comfort than Elyx was, that was for sure. Still though, the Wind Slayer could not help but try anyways, hoping that his words would ease and act like medicine. "You know Ignite, you are doing a lot better of a job that I expect you would. I always thought you were laid back, but now look at you. You were able to lead your team in taking down your first set of intruders, keeping them well fed, and keeping them happy as well. You even found a system that can give them a proper burial for all of their hard work. Sure, there are a little bit of tensions due to a recent demise, but that is nothing compared to your efforts and skills." The Wind Slayer would say, the last part could have been a lot better. Something along the lines of him telling her that she made a great leader, and that he had underestimated her. Again however, he was not quite the best at giving comfort, despite the fact that he was able to quickly give remorse. And now they had a few hours to check the group, see how they were doing, become friends with them. If they were lucky, they would be able to return back to their dorms and possibly get some sleep. But they all needed information, and they also needed to lower the tensions. If they could extract as much data about the mages in their family and their personalities, maybe they could find some better method of guarding so that no one would die, or maybe some sort of supply for food. Either way, they were going to socialize, planning to meet back to the center at the last hour to discuss what they have learned.

The Hive (Solo/Job) Empty Re: The Hive (Solo/Job)

Post by King Elyx 22nd April 2016, 1:57 pm

Elyx would start off by observing a few mages, about three of them, and they all were around the scene where the body was dropped off onto the bed. Maybe he should cool them down so that they did not go into a frenzy. Placing his hands in his pcoket and a smile onto his face, he would gently walk over to them before putting out his right hand, opened it and waved it from side to side to greet them. "Hey there, my name is Elyx Reiaki. I want to help you guys out, is there anything that is concerning you that Ignite should know about?" He would ask them. They all were shaking a little bit, they seemed to have the same mentality as Ven did, rather young and tense. Hopefully they knew that just because one was down and two were hurt did not mean that they were guaranteed to suffer the same fate. Anything to prevent them from purposely jumping over the edge in insanity, that was not going to be such a happy ending. Maybe he could ask them about going to one of the parties to try to keep themselves happy. Instead however, one of them, a short mage with long blue hair and a long white dress would then respond to him honestly. "We do not want to be here any more. there has to be some sort of escape, we want to at least try searching for some sort of path down!" She would say a little bit too loudly. The last thing they needed was to make the other people tense. However, that was a rather good point. Maybe he could speak to Ignite about making some search parties. This might cause a few more fatalities, but if they were able to find some sort of exit from the mountains, then they are able to all get out. Or rather, the rest of whatever was left would be able to. Where would they even start though? Maybe if he used Air Step, he could look around the side of the mountains for some kind of opening that he could punch through. A smile on his face would reveal, maybe he could not Air Step his way to the ground, but he was able to use his temporary flight to help them find an exit. It was all up to their climbing skills if they did not have enough magic to get to wherever some crevice would be. So with a smile, he would tell the group, mainly the blue haired girl, what they might have wanted to hear. "We can ask Ignite to make some search parties, if one finds an escape, they will report it to us and we can all be free."

Tyme would in the meantime walk with a smile on his face, aiming to see who he could try to lure in. With a bit of his charm, maybe he could bring in a few fish to gather some data that could be useful for the group, Ignite would love to have some new data and remake her plan, she just seemed like the type of person who would like to improve things. Admittedly, the mage could not be more wrong, the She Phoenix did not enjoy change very much, but every leader had their weakness somewhere. Before he was able to reach someone, a female mage would approach him and started up what seemed to be small chat. The appearance definitely showed that she was not from the tribes. But then again, he did not quite believe she was from the land of Fiore either, because if she were, he would have been able to sense her mark. Something about her seemed a bit off, but for now, she seemed nice. So the blonde decided to play along and take the cheese, maybe she was like him and was from a foreign land. The worst case to happen was that she was a dark mage, and if she were, he would be able to take her down. The thoughts in her mind, he was unable to get into either. Who exactly was she? And who might you be? She would ask in a rather low tone, he could trace a bit of sly activity from just that tone alone. Mainly because of his ears, but somehow, he was unable to hear her thoughts. That was right, Tyme was able to hear the thoughts of others due to his precise hearing. It was a rare sort of magic, but yet he was able to possess it rather well and control his thoughts onto one target, just so the noises of everyone around him did not bother him. Taking the question with his own response, he would make sure to be brief. I am a member of the Rosella family, just like you are. Names are not too important until we get to know each other. He would reply, playing hard to get. It made the other person anxious, and this one seemed no different. However, she did not practically beg him, but instead use reason for him to be convinced to listen to her. Now that is not fair, how do I get to know you without even knowing your name? She would ask him, full well knowing that she was right as well. A few assumptions had him think a bit down onto her, but she has not done anything rash to the group quite yet. And while that was the case, he still had a bit of tension, mages were hard to predict. And for her mind to practically be empty and unable to be heard from, there had to be some sort of spell or ability that allowed this to happen. But for now, he would act like he did not notice such a thing. And so he would give his name, since there did not seem to be any harm in doing so.

My name is Tyme. And what about you, what is your name? The blonde would ask the red-haired mage, who just giggled before closing one eye. It was not really a wink since she did not open it right after the fact. I'm not telling~ She would reply, causing the hearing mage to tilt his head to the side, his eyes half closed while his mouth was turning into the small shape of an "o". Now his question was being sparked, why could she not tell him the name? Or maybe he would have to take his own advice, because he fell for a small trap. The red haired mage full well knew his name, but he was unable to name hers because he was the one who introduced himself first. Now he had to know how this girl was so smart at obtaining names, he normally relied on his looks to bring in the fish. She would attempt to walk away from him with a smile on her face, just merely teasing him now. Tyme would let go of any suspicions that he had, and now was just fueled by his curiousity. Following her from behind, he would poke her shoulder before trying to continue their conversation before she rudely left the scene. Where do you think you are going? Out conversation is not even done yet you know. The Hearing mage would announce to her before placing both of his palms into his pockets. In all honesty, do you think you have an ideas to get us out of here? If help does not arrive to the island, we are going to run out of supplies. He would explain to her. The girl would cross her arms while looking down, seemingly organizing her thoughts in her mind. It took a little bit of time before she would look back up at him, a smile on her face, the sly one she had already shown him before. I can think of a way out of here, but I will only tell you in exchange for something. Lean down so I can whisper what I want. She would explain. Well, if it was for the family, then he must do what he had to in order to extract the information from her. And so he would then tilt his body so that she can stand on her toes, and so she would tell him her request.

Post by King Elyx 22nd April 2016, 4:03 pm

Neko was not a social butterfly, despite saying she would try to talk to some people and get the data out of them, she did not have the confidence to do such a thing. Being a Mana stealing fighter, she was able to look into the magic of other mages, but how much good would that do while they were not in battle? A sigh would emit from her lips as she sat down onto a rock and thought about how she was going to do this. To solve the fear of people, you would have to understand why you were afraid of people. They did not have much to offer if they judged you, they did not pay for the roof that you live under, the food that you cooked and placed onto the table, obtain the jewels that could provide for your very well being, so what should their opinion matter for? If anything, they are just as worthless as what you think they would say if that was how they judged you. Now for those who judged positively, sticking with those people is probably the best idea, they knew a lot better about the feelings of others. Good people with the lack of being tone deaf. Yet still with these thoughts, it was much easier said than done. But fortunately, she would be approached by a lady, a little bit older than Neko. About eighteen or nineteen if she had to guess. The lady looked like a rogue, a dual set of pistols around her waist, one around the left and one onto the right. Her facial expression was neutral, which could have meant either good or bad. Neko felt her tensions bunch up, if she had to get into a fight with this lady, she would gladly do it. Her palms spoke a lot louder than her voice, which not many would believe if she was not willing to even string a monologue together.

The woman however did not try to fight, but instead would place her hands onto her hips. You do not seem to be having too much fun now are you. Your shift is about to go next, don't you as least wanna have some fun? The lady would ask before she sat down next to the white haired mage. It was nice that someone would ask that, but why would the gunslinger care about that stuff was what she was wondering. Still however, not many people back in Klaydelle were this concerned, it was never on their agenda, so they would not bother with such things. Placing her palms onto the warm rocky ground while looking up to the sky, the sun almost in her eyes, she would begin to spark up a conversation by replying to the lady.

And so after a few hours, the three of them would return in a few states. Ignite was waiting after actually holding conversations while the rest of them had a few scenarios. Elyx came with an idea first, he was the first one to offer something to the She Phoenix that they could use for the family. Hey Ignite, I am going to use Air Step to try to look for some sort of opening that might have a road to lead us down the mountain. The Hive below us will be in the way, so search parties are going to be needed. If we take out a few people for the party, then maybe we can get ourselves out of this trouble on our own. Maybe even find the people who were trying to set up the camp. The Wind Slayer would tell her with a smile. Ignite would place her right pointer finger onto her chin while looking up, clearly thinking about what he had said. Within just a few seconds, she had the answer to that problem. That actually does not sound like such a bad idea. I am sure the mages would like to hear of news that they could bail out of there. We can send 10 people on guard to be a search party, if their way out, they can escape before letting us know it is safe to come down. Or if they just barely made it, they can bring us some help. I see you have done well Mr. Reiaki, I'll add a piece of steak onto your plate this evening. She would tease at the end, rubbing his hair playfully with her fist while holding him in a headlock. Elyx's arms would flail without any grace before he was release, his once better spiked hair now frizzed into a punk sort of style, which he was going to have to live with now since he could not quite fix it.

The second one to arrive was Neko, who ended up arriving with a happy smile onto her face, a bright one instead of her subtle small and shy one. It was nice to see that she had joy, maybe there was some information that she was able to extract like the Wind Slayer did. Hey guys! I was able to get one person with a lot of communications, it turns out that help will be arriving within one week according to her sources. She would say before then looking back, and the dual-wielding gunslinger came up from behind her with a nod of the head to prove that the snowy haired mage was correct. Awesome! Now all they had to do was survive until then! But then again... A lot could happen in a week.
