Housekeeping! (Solo/Job)

Shohei had a crumbled piece of scrap paper crunched between his index finger and thumb, as usual. Not to mention two earphones plugged loosely into both his left and right ear. It was his first time in Clover Town, so he was unfamiliar with the place. "So this is the place of the almighty Blue Pegasus? No wonder they're called that, they certainly stand out. Shohei thought as he kept his emotionless, blank face. Looking at the tall and small buildings surrounding him. The almost crowded streets, and the delicacies's scents filling the air from local restaurants. Truly a remarkable place, but he was only here to complete a job given anonymously. Shohei turned a corner, walking down a street where apartments and townhouses stood. "Her house should be one of them. . ."  Shohei said aloud to himself softly.

He found himself at a dead end, it was a open area but the most cheap houses settled here. He figured the one with the leaks was it. Shohei then gazed down at his crumbled sheet of scrap paper, crunching it even harder with his index finger and thumb as he concentrated. He then quoted what was written on the paper, "I'm going away on vacation and I just can't find a house maintenance done while I'm gone, please, will anyone out there help me. Watch out for Frank though, he's the neighbors dog that always finds a way in somehow, as long as you keep out of sight, but find a way to stop him from coming back without killing him. Also, there's a pesky fly problem. And finally, I have a leaky roof. Good luck.. " Shohei said it oblivious of the obstacles he must face. He sighed as he crumbled the sheet of scrap paper up and stuffed it in his small pockets as he opened the door to the apartment. His left eye winced as some dust spurred into his eye. That is when he heard buzzing and steps from the apartment next to him.

'Monster Dice' :

That is when he heard scratching on the door. Shohei blinked and walked over to it without caution. He swiftly opened the door only to find a hellish dog slobbering and snarling with aggravation in it's eyes. The is when it lunged at Shohei, but about a foot away he slammed the door allowing the beast to hit the door. Shohei panted, in- and exhaling extremely fast as a drop of sweat rolled down his forehead. "A dog? Heck no! That's a beast from the devil himself!" Shohei calmed down with a scowl on his face, he got up and locked the door. As he turned around a drop of warmish water dropped on his nose, he winced softly as it did so. Shohei looked up, "That must be the leak she was talking about. Jeez, not only is she being harassed by a hell hound, she's having problems with this cheap apartmen-" Shohei paused, his face started to slowly move downwards only to spot a snarling hell hound ready to pounce, "How did-?! But?!" Just then the beast lunged at him, leaping high into the air just when Shohei ducked as the beast flew over his head, hitting the wall. Shohei got up trembling and ran over to the window, opened it. That is when the beast lunged at him, Shohei quickly sidestepped with a look of relief on his face as the beast flew out of the window. Shohei peeked out to see if it was okay, disappointed to see it was only limping. Why couldn't it have broken a bone or two? Shohei then slammed the window shut and locked it.

It was late and his mission was complete. It was at sunset already and could the dog barking from the neighbor's home. Shohei could care less about the leak, that was another problem he didn't have to solve. He got up from the couch placed at the side of the room and walked towards the door. He slowly opened it inward, just enough to peek outside. The dog was apparently sleeping. Shohei frowned and opened the door all the way, walking outside and locked and shut it before tiptoeing down the metal stairs. It echoed little due to his swiftness. But it still made noise and the dog was constantly twitching his ears each time Shohei made a noise. Sooner then he expected, he made it downstairs successfully. He then trotted away from the beast as fast as he could so it wouldn't wake up. It was a hellish one, but it was a job well done.
