The Blue Pegasus guild hall was busy today. Flyers had been placed all around the hall a week prior, telling of a special guest who would be stopping by from sorcerer weekly, looking for new female wizards to be on the cover of the magazine. Although Artemis didn't particularly care to much. She was fine not being the center of attention, but there was one thing about the magazine she cared about. She had walked to the cafeteria to get some food, not knowing that's where the photographer and designer was setting up shop, looking for the new talent. Thus the line was long, Artemis had to worm her way through the cafeteria just to get to the food. Heck she didn't even know they had this many female members. But she eventually got her food and sat down to eat. She was just about to take a bite when.
"You right there!" said an unfamiliar voice. It was high pitched and shrill with an air of superiority to it, and obviously came from a woman. The designer approached Artemis, her mouth wide open to take a bite out of her sandwich.
"You! You are perfect come with me!" said the designer, grabbing Artemis by the arm and tearing her away from her food, despite her protest.
"Robert, we got our girl, let us be off, if we are lucky we will make it to Magnolia before nightfall." said Chanelle. The photographer got up and the trio left in a hurry, Artemis being dragged along like a doll, despite her protests. Although the jealous looks of her guild mates, where engraved into her memory.
---A couple hours later---
The ride to Magnolia was a hasty one. And the photographer, Robert was deep in conversation with Chanelle about the shoot. What dresses and outfits Artemis would wear, what forest clearing they would use, and stuff like that. It was all so confusing, how did she get into this mess again. They arrive at the clearing at around 3 pm, and the set up began. The clearing was right on the edge of a huge lake, the other side of which Artemis couldn't see. The designer Chanelle pulled her to the side.
"I'm am so sorry for just dragging you along my dear, we are on a tight schedule. What is your name?" asked the designer in a sweet yet demanding voice.
"A-Artemis." replied Artemis meekly.
"Ah, well then Artemis, what type of magic do you have?"
"Well... umm... It's a type of nature magic known as Shaman magic, I can control nature and I have animal like senses."
"Ah! That is perfect, you see. The theme of the shoot is to fit with my new nature inspired line! I saw your looks and I just couldn't help but think: 'There! That's the face and body I want for my new line!' and I just couldn't help myself. I hate to have you!"
"Well... uh.. thanks... I guess."
"No need to be so coy! Once we get you out of those baggy clothes and into some of my new designs you will look stunning! I bet you can't wait to show off that wonderful body of yours!"
"Wait what?" asked Artemis, but it mostly seemed like she was ignored as she was whisked away and thrown into a collapsible dressing room.
"You have 5 minutes until you need to be at make up! Have fun darling!" shouted the designer.
"What have I been thrown into." muttered Artemis to herself. There was currently only one outfit in the dressing room. Artemis guess that's what she was suppose to get changed into.
---Ten Minutes Later---
"Where is that girl! She should of been at make up 5 minutes ago!" shouted the designer.
"Umm... she won't leave the dressing room." said one of the staff.
"What! Why not! Oh nevermind! I'll just go look for myself."
Chanelle angrily walked to the dressing room and knocked on the wall. There was a curtain separating the inside of the dressing room to the outside world.
"Artemis what are you doing! You needed to be at make up 5 minutes ago!"
"I'm not coming out!"
"Why not!"
"T-This outfit. I-It doesn't leave much to the imagination!"
Chanelle just rolled her eyes and forced the curtain open, despite the scream Artemis let out in response. Artemis was wearing heeled roman-style sandals, and a ocean blue mini skirt that rid up just enough where you could see the lower part of black bikini, with a lotus flower right in the front and held tightly against her body. On top she was wearing very short shirt, where if Artemis wasn't wearing a bikini top, she would have no doubt people would see the lower part of her breasts. The shirt itself was sleeveless, relatively low cut and had a lotus flower design. The bikini top could easily been seen covering the spots the shirt did not. It was also black and even though it was hidden by the shirt, had a lotus flower on each side.
"W-What does this have to do with nature!" shouted Artemis.
"Don't you see? It's for swimwear with nature designs on it! Why else would be be at a lake?"
"I-I don't know! I'm not leaving this dressing room! This stuff is embarrassing and hugs my body to tightly!"
"Alright fine... Can we at least get a shoot of you in this?" We can just say it's a preview and tack on an interview. I won't make you wear anything else if you agree to this." sighed Chanelle.
"R-Really?"
"Yes I promise."
"A-Alright." said Artemis, slowly walking out of the dressing room. Her arms crossed over her chest she followed the designer over to the make up area and got her make up on. And after about an hour of taking pictures, Artemis ran back into the dressing room and got changed back to her normal clothes for the interview.
It was a pretty quick interview. It touched on what she did in her guild, why she chose her guild, what her magic was and what her dreams for the future was. By the time everything was done the sun was setting and her and Chanelle where helping Robert looking over pictures.
"You know Artemis, despire being a bit of a pain you really are photogenic, you should think about doing this more often." said Chanelle.
"These pictures of you are quite good and your blushing during the shoot adds quite an adorable factor to it."
"Thanks but I-I think I'm good. This was one experience I don't think I want to repeat."
"Suit yourself, but if you ever change your mind, you know who to call."
And like that, The weirdest day in Artemis' life came to a close.
