Description: Lightning Dragon Slayer magic is a Lost Magic that is either passed down by a Great Dragon, or implanted into the caster by a Dragon Slayer Lacrima. As the name suggests, Dragon Slayer magic is used to slay the great winged reptilian beasts using Lightning based magic imbued with a Dragons own magical power.
Hirai is an Iron based mage who has been imbued with the power of the Lightning Dragon Zeuslogia through a Lightning Dragon Slayer Lacrima. It focuses on the properties of Lightning, granting Hirai the ability to increase his speed and even become a bolt of lightning himself. Some effects of lightning magic include stunning an opponent or dealing damage over time courtesy of pulses of electrical energy being pumped through a target.
Strengths:
- Lightning based magic is attracted to the iron-based spells, making for a potentially devastating combination with Hirai’s Iron magic.
- Thanks to the Lightning Dragon Slayer Lacrima, Hirai is able to consume electricity in order to regenerate his magical energy and eventually hit Dragon Force, a powerful bodily change that covers his body in thick iron scales, whilst also increasing his spell power by 50% and boosting all stats into the next range on the character scaling.
- Lightning based magic deals an extra 50% damage to water and wind based mages as water conducts the electricity and wind magic only makes the lightning more erratic and powerful.
- Lightning magic allows Hirai to change his body completely into lightning, allowing him to move at considerably faster speeds for short periods of time.
Weaknesses:
- God/Demon Slayers of the same element are able to consume Hirai’s spells while Hirai is unable to do the same to them without causing himself considerable harm in the process.
- Dragon Force, again, is both a weakness as well as a strength due to its drawback. While powerful, Hirai is left with only 5% MP once it ends. This means that, should Hirai fail to finish his opponent through the duration, he’ll be left in a very difficult position once it runs out.
- Earth based magic takes 25% less damage from lightning based magic.
- Metal based defensive magic can be used as a lightning rod, attracting the lightning magic and earthing it, thus rendering it useless.
- Hirai cannot eat his own lightning mangic to regenerate his magical energy. It must be from an outside source.
Abilities/Powers:
Dragon Force: A powerful bodily change that covers his body in thick iron scales and nullifies MP cost for spells whilst also increasing his spell power by 50% and boosting all stats into the next range on the character scaling. Requires Hirai to eat 25% of his element for 5 posts in a row to activate and lasts for 7 posts. Once Dragon Force runs out Hirai is left with just 5% MP.
Magic Regeneration: By finding and eating his element during a post, Hirai is able to regenerate a portion of his MP.
Lightning Arc: Hirai is able to turn into pure lightning and bounce between any metal objects he has created on the battlefield that are still intact. Hirai can only reach objects that are within 10 meters from where he is and he cannot pass through or strike a living being while in this form. Hirai’s lightning colour is silver.

Rank: D
Type: Support
Description: Hirai becomes a bolt of lightning and is able to jump up to 10 meters from where he is currently located. He is unable to attack while in this form, although he can perform an attack as soon as he’s out of it.
Strengths:
- This spell does not require Hirai to have set up a metal object nearby in order to travel, making it considerably more useful and less predictable.
- The 10 meter movement is made within a second, making it an insanely fast movement and potentially causing opponents to lose track of him if they’re in close range.
- The opponent cannot attack Hirai when he is in mid-movement.
Weaknesses:
- Hirai cannot pass through or harm anyone while in this form.
- Hirai cannot cast any spells whatsoever while in mid-movement.
- Hirai cannot use Iron-based spells immediately after casting this spell. He must perform a lightning spell or a non-element attack first.

- C - Lightning Dragon’s Chains:
Name: Lightning Dragon’s Chains
Rank: C
Type: Offence
Description: Hirai creates a bolt of lightning in his right hand and launches it at an opponent. The lightning magic will chain to up to three enemies, dealing C-rank damage and stunning the first enemy it strikes and dealing D-rank damage to the others. The chain can only travel as far as 10 metres from target to target.
Strengths:
- Particularly powerful against Water-based mages, gaining a 50% damage boost on them.
- Chaining allows the user to deal damage to up to three targets with one spell.
- The spell stuns the first target it strikes for 2 posts.
- Striking a metal-based mage will cause the lightning to be conducted, and allow the magic to be chained 1 extra time, dealing D-rank damage to the fourth target.
Weaknesses:
- Earth Based mages of equal or higher rank are completely unaffected by this spell.
- The spell only stuns the first target it strikes.
- A well timed, grounded Metal-based spell can cause the spell to become earthed, making it useless.
- Electric based mages take 50% damage from the spell due to natural resistance.
- Neither Electric nor Earth based mages are affected by the stun effect if they are struck first.

- B - Roar of the Lightning Dragon:
Name: Roar of the Lightning Dragon
Rank: B
Type: Ranged Offence
Description: Although not as strong as his Iron Dragon’s Roar, the Lightning Roar has another effect. Hirai positions himself with his legs at shoulders width apart, then takes a deep inhale before releasing a powerful blast of Lightning Dragon Slayer magic that can reach up to 100 meters away at a speed of 50 m/s and reaches 5 meters wide after the first 2 meters of travel. The static energy in the blast will paralyze and slow any opponent within 5 meters of the roar for a post. Anyone caught in the roar will take B-rank damage and be paralyzed and slowed for 2 posts.
Strengths:
- Hirai’s most status inducing ranged spell, the Roar of the Lightning Dragon deals B-rank damage as well as paralyzing and slowing anyone within5 meters of it.
- The Roar has a range of 100 meters, travels at a speed of 50 m/s and a width of 5 meters, making it very difficult to dodge if an opponent is in its line of fire.
- It takes little time to charge up before use, thus can be used as a quick but powerful game changer.
Weaknesses:
- The blast travels in a straight line, meaning that if an opponent predicts and times it right, they can dodge clear of it.
- The Lightning Dragon’s Roar is essentially a single target spell meaning that unless two opponents are stood side by side there is little chance of hitting more than one opponent with this spell.
- Hirai cannot use this spell if he goes into non-Lightning Dragon Force.
- A fast opponent could strike Hirai in the gut as he’s inhaling, stopping the spell before it is even cast and immediately taking advantage of his stunned state.
