With the majority of vulcans dispatched, all that really seemed to be left was taking care of the puppy itself. However, noticing Emilia's reaction, something had clearly gone wrong somehow. Something always has to go wrong. With a sigh, Eli started to move towards the scene, trying to see what all the rush was. When he noticed the vulcan going after Brielle, he understood the urgency and started to run. It looked like Emilia was getting it's attention already, so Brielle should be safe. Still, he didn't like the idea of the small girl and dog being caught that close to the creature unguarded. Throwing a card from his pocket, Eli suddenly dissappeared, re-appearing in front of Brielle between her and the vulcan. He shook his head slightly. "Oh Emilia, like you could call that ball and chain of yours a real weapon."

Turning to face Brielle, he gave her and the puppy both a brief smile. "Good job, I knew you could handle it. We'll take care of this guy now, ok? So you make sure you take good care of our little friend instead." Walking forward, he watched as the vulcan leapt at Emilia, deciding he should probably do something about that. Throwing a card out from his pocket over the vaulting creature, a large rock suddenly appeared above it and started to tumble down, attempting to fall down onto the creature's back. He wanted to simply shut down it's movement and the vulcan itself as well. He was running low on magical power, and wanted to take care of this before he was out entirely.

The path of the leaping vulcan was definitely easy enough for Eli to predict, and as such, his terra card hit it perfectly on the back. With a surprised yelp, the creature plummeted to the ground in front of Emilia, dazed from the impact. It growled a Emilia as she took a step forward. The growl was interrupted by a loud thump as Emi kicked the pinned creature in the head. It whimpered a bit, as it realized the situation it was in and gave up on the fight. Well that was a disappointingly short fight. Emilia thought to herself. While she certainly would have enjoyed to have gone a bit longer, for the puppy's sake, it was probably best that the fight had ended quickly.

Emilia chuckled and looked at Eli. "Well so far everything I've hit with it considers it a very good weapon. Same goes for everything my pop hit with it." She chuckled, then walked over to the others. "Well, I think that oughta take care of the vulcans around here. We should probably get out before more show up and scare our little friend to death." She turned and started to walk out of the forest, expecting Brielle and Eli to follow. She had had enough with this stupid forest and its stupid vulcans for now. They weren't really that threatening with three people here. Maybe she could come alone sometime to train by beating on the things.

Within a moment's notice a familiar blond haired mage presented himself into the battle with the same form of confidence that would bring comfort to anyone. As Eli neared the younger mage of the team, his words were ones of comfort and confidence. There was no denying the smile that crossed Brielle's pink lips as she gazed up at the Validus before reality kicked in once more. The Vulcan was still at large within the forest and the whimpers of the puppy were only growing louder. Ceasing to stop its cries of fear, the small animal began to fidget wildly within the girl's arms as the battle commenced. The events occurring could certainly be described as nothing short of chaotic - each passing second counting for the conclusion to this mission. The puppies whines could attract more of the creatures that the two elder mages were keeping at bay at the moment, and the McCloud took the opportunity to gently her fingers along the small animal before lifting it up gently for it to gaze into her eyes.

The small being continued to fidget for but a moment before taking note of Brielle's pair of striking electric blue orbs. Its wet nose twitching slightly as it began to sniff the air, a small and much more quieter whine escaped the puppies lips before its tongue graced its snout. The small animal seemed to find comfort in the raven haired girls stare; whatever rays of sunlight that dared to peer through the roof of the forest seemed to give her eyes a soft glow that would calm the soul. Although this was a small puppy that adored every human that it met. In this particular moment from here on out, however, it was not one to be fond of the strange creatures creating such foreign sounds with intimidating appearances. Finding itself being lowered and adjusted into the familiarity of a comfortable hold, the puppy licked its lips as it took note of the noise having died down.

Brielle simply sighed in relief in the grace of the moment - the battle was over all thanks to her teammates that she had come to adore. It was indeed a tiring day filled to the brink with whines, whimpers, screeches, roars... One thing was for certain and that was that Brielle McCloud had enough of Vulcans for one lifetime. Feeling yet another chill travel along the center of her spine a dissatisfied mumble sounded within her system before she began to traverse forth behind Emilia, taking note that Eli would be one to follow as well. "I have had enough Vulcans to last a lifetime..." The girl admitted this fact with a forced smile that hinted exhaustion, yet a form of happiness lingered within the underlying mass of other emotions swirling through her system. The puppy simply panted with its tongue hanging out of the side of its mouth, completely content that the mayhem was over now. The raven haired mage then felt an genuine smile align her lips once more in a much more peaceful environment.

Thank you both so very much...
