PVP Guidelines

1. Always leave your attacks open ended.
- Guideline:
Acceptable - Heero sprints at you and attempts to punch you in the face.
Unacceptable - Heero sprints at you and socks you squarely in the nose.
Acceptable - Zeno sends a Fireball whizzing through the air towards you!
Unacceptable - Zeno throws a Fireball that hits you square in the chest and sends you flying!
2. Always keep track of Magic Power. You'll start at 100%!

3. Be aware of 'levels' of Strength
- Guideline:
Example: Jellal (H-Ranked) is able to dodge Racer (S-Ranked), at point blank range. Although Racer is using Superhuman Speed Magic, Jellal still easily weaves the blows without being touched.
Example: Heero uses a C-Ranked spell, boosted by 50%. A C+50% spell is coming at you. You defend with a C spell, but you have a casted Spell effect or Buff on you that boosts your spellpower by 60%. Your C+60% easily defends against Heero's spell completely.
4. "+" Passives
- Guideline:
Shuhei is H-Ranked. His STR, SPD, and durability are classed as H. But he is a Slayer.
Shuhei's strength, speed, and durability are now classed as H+.
Shuhei can partially turn his body into Light at will, as the White Dragon Slayer.
Shuhei's speed is now classed as H++.
One "+" for Slayer.
Heero is H-Ranked his STR, SPD, and durability are classed as H. But he is a Slayer.
Heero's strength, speed, and durability are now classed as H+.
Heero also has 'Monkey King's Descendant' as his lineage. Increasing his STR and SPD to superhuman levels passively.
Heero's strength, speed, and durability are now classed as H++.
Ex. Simon (Kirahunter), has God Leg Magick. Gifting him with superhuman speed.
Simon's STR is classed at B.
Simon's SPD is classed at B+.
Simon also has a passive boost 'Phoenix Speed' in his magic.
This classes his speed at B++.
Ex. Passive boosts to your character NEVER change, as they are drawn directly from your Magic and Lineage.
Ex. What Passive boosts your Magic provides will be decided by you and your Moderator upon Magic Creation. Certain Magics may give a "+" in one area, while nothing in another.
5. Transformations
- Guideline:
If something is increased by 50%, it is your (Base Character Rank) +50%.
If something is increased by 100% it is increased by one Rank.
Two C's = B. Two B's = A. Two A's = S. Two S's = H.
Alexander and Kyll are both S-Ranked.
Kyll increases her Strength by 50%.
Kyll during battle lands a flying elbow on Alexander.
Alexander has no spells that increase his passive S-Ranked DEF or Durability active.
Kyll's S Ranked +50% STR steamrolls through Alexander's S-Ranked DEF. As he is socked by Kyll's flying elbow attack.
6. Battle Stats

At the end of every post, separate the actual battle into OOC with an.

Magic Power (MP or Mana) Remaining: 100%
Status: (OK)

Status: (Slowed, Sleepy, Dizzy, Leg Paralyzed, Arm Paralyzed, Blinded etc. etc. etc.)
Subtract as the DUELISTS, deem necessary concerning HP%. Everyone is in control of their own HP. No exceptions. The only exception to this is if one duelist believes another should have taken more damage. In this instance if it cannot be resolved by the Duelists, a Staff Member (Judge) may be called to ask someone to take more HP% damage or be KOed completely.
7. Magical Specifications & Classifications
- Guideline:
Do not attempt to classify anyone's magick into anyone's sphere of metagame that you know or are used too.
If you wish to know what their Magick is Weak too, and Strong against. You must learn your opponent as they must learn you. Check their Signature for a Link to their Magick or check the 'Approved Magic' area and find your opponents Magick there.
8. Casting
- Guideline:
Whenever you are casting a spell or enchantment, summoning a Weapon, using a Weapon Ability, using a Technique, or a Buff or Ability becomes active MAKE IT KNOWN.
Here's 3 different ways any born wizard can cast Magic!
Ex. The Voice (Say it aloud!) - "Lightning Dragon's Roar!",
Ex. The Mind (Put it in Italics) - At that moment, Heero used 'Lightning Dragon's Roar'.
Ex. The Soul (For your stronger spells, Make it glow with "Blur" code) - "Lightning Wind Dragon's Roar!!!".- *PRO TIP*:
Ex. Toss the actual spell in the OOC Battle Stats Area with a quick Copy & Paste from your Magic. It should look like this. Use "Spoiler=" code. You can call it 'Spells Used' at the end. Fill this one big Spoiler with all the spells and enchantments used on any given post. If Heero used Lightning Dragon's Roar AND Lightning Dragon's Wing Slash in one post and he was posting Spells Used, the spoiler would look like this!- Spells Used:
Name: Roar of the Lightning Dragon (雷竜の咆哮 Rairyū no Hōkō)

Type: Slayer
Description: Heero leans back and inhales a massive amount of air, his cheeks and chest swelling with air as a yellow Dragon's head magic circle spins above his mouth whilst he leans back. Static electricity builds up in the air around him as this happens, short circuiting most machinery whilst he gathers air and lightning. A 400 ft tall and wide yellow beam of raw lightning, sparkling with blue lightning rips forth from his mouth as the environment is filled with the distinct and terrifying noise of a Dragon's Roar. The beam is extremely fast, and will tear through up to half a mile ft as Heero exhales it. Easily able to level a row of houses in a city or town if he's not holding back. It explodes in a 300 ft area burst of yellow Lightning on contact. When Dragon Forced the Roar becomes "Shining Roar of the Lightning Dragon", and deals even more damage, it's impact burst range doubling and it's travel distance is boosted up too an astounding 1 mile. Heero may also unleash a 'Lightning Storm Roar'; and in place of a beam will unleash a series of 100 yellow lightning bolts that skip and dance around wildly out of his control and shred through a 300 ft area for S-Ranked damage. This form can be used in conjunction with 'Lightning Dragon's Mark' and the yellow lightning bolts will skip around slamming into anyone marked. If used in this fashion without marked targets, Heero can deal serious harm to his allies if not careful.
Strengths: Is relatively quick to use. Deals massive damage; the equivalent of two S-Ranked spells if caught directly in the path of the roar. Can be guided by Heero turning and following targets while exhaling the beam. Explodes where it is as Heero finishes exhaling. Heero can breath the beam out for a maximum of 20 seconds. The roar has two versions.
Weaknesses: Easy to see coming. The beam although hundreds of feet long and wide in range can be dodged. The impact explosion of lightning will go off somewhere else if dodged, potentially leveling or destroying something or somewhere Heero didn't intend if he misses. Can be defended against by an S-Ranked Wind magic effect. Or escaped by means of an S-Ranked Teleportation effect. Has a cooldown of 7 posts.
Name: Lightning Dragon's Wing Slash (雷竜ウィングスラッシュ Rairyū U~ingusurasshu)

Description: Heero crossing his arms like an "X" in front of him as energy leaps up and begins to chop through the ground pushing everything back from him. A surge of yellow lightning surrounds Heero as the ground rumbles for a few split seconds as a yellow Dragon's head magic circle appears for just a moment as Heero himself blasts forward, through the circle; somersaulting too many times and too fast to count. When he reaches a target area, he throws his arms out too the side with his fists balled; two huge crescents of yellow lightning slice like the moon as they twist off of his elbows and back; giving the impressing that Heero has lightning wings up too 20 meters high for a split second before the lightning crescents off of Heero towards his left and right. The Lightning is traveling so fast; that impact damage is unavoidable with this spell, even if you dodge it you'll have to stay on the move and avoid falling debris all around you. It cuts a massive "X" into the ground the size of a parking lot around Heero if he's standing on the ground when he used this. The gigantic "X" in the ground in front of him sizzles and smokes with orange embers; dancing upwards into the breeze as Heero gets a toothy grin towards you. Can be used mid-air, the twin crescents can travel only up too 20 feet mid-air. When used aerially the twin crescents of lightning twist into an "X" up to 20 feet away from Heero and explode in a 30 foot explosion of concentrated A-Ranked yellow lighting that sparkles blue at it's frame.
Strengths: Deals up too 200 ft range of area Lightning damage when used standing on the ground. Can send foes bouncing into the air as the lightning slams them down into the ground and whips them back up once, setting them up for another or continuance of a combo. Useful for spreading Lightning damage of a large distance quickly on the ground. An excellent intimidation technique as the large "X" burned into the ground over a town square distance burning with embers causes fear to rise. Can knock a large group of Wizards below Heero's Rank out quickly.
Weaknesses: Can be nullified and blasted away by Wind spells of A-Rank and above. Has terrible range mid-air, and is somewhat easier to escape in the air due to the range being smaller and the impact area being more focused. Has a cooldown of 5 posts.
You do not HAVE to do any of these methods, nor ALL of these methods. But to avoid confusion about WHEN moves happened, you should ALWAYS be using at least ONE of the methods. Posting 'Spells Used' at the end of posts is by NO means, required, merely optional and helpful.
