Be a Model! (Adessa & Ao)

Adessa sighed as she was walking towards the East Forest. This was one of the more interesting jobs on the board and needed a partner. Kariline was too rough for it, but Ao was a team member that looked like she could have the temperament to do said job properly. Yes she chose Ao Lin, the catgirl to join her on this quest. At first she seemed happy to join a team mate. Probably with the lure of doing said job would make people happy. .

However the problems started when she found out what the job entailed. Now she was dragging a crying and screaming girl to the job. Thank god for ear plugs, they were a life saver. Adessa continued dragging the catgirl with minimal effort, but wished she would stop already. Besides it is not every day one gets to model for a bikini shoot. It was going to be a unique experience! Adessa said, “Ao, this will be a fun experience. Thousands of people will marvel at you for months to come.”

Ao was in a really happy mood when Adessa had invited her to a job, Ao thought that she had finally gotten a good friend to do a job together. But her happiness was soon spoiled, as she got told what the job was. She lost her confidence and got embarrassed, but this was Adessa so even when Ao tried she couldn't get away. She kept crying and flailing her arms when Adessa pulled her towards East forest.

When Ao heard Adessa said: “Ao, this will be a fun experience. Thousands of people will marvel at you for months to come.” Ao burst into tears and sent out a sonic scream which shook the woods. No, please no Adessa, i don't want to do this, even if you bribe me i won't. Ao couldn't hold back anymore but nothing she did shook Adessa. Ao pulled her hat down and just sobbed silently.

Adessa was simply listening to Ao complain, the girl needed to break out of her shell for once. There was no need to show fear, it was illogical to do so. Instead she continued dragging down the forest and into where the photo shoot was. Adessa answered, “Well I guess you instead want to do the one that involves taking care of the pet spiders. I was interested in that job as well, I think that we shall go there instead.”

And with that Adessa stopped in her tracks and turned around back to Magnolia with a smile on her face. Adessa started to comment, “I wonder what kind of spider it will be. You know the spiders near Clover can reach the size of your head? Ooh I can’t wait to see, it even described having more than one of them.” Ao had a choice, bikini modeling or taking care of spiders. Adessa was gambling on Ao’s fears of aracnaphobia.

When Ao heard the word spiders, she stopped crying right away. Just seeing spiders made Ao really nervous and scared, so without a second thought she said: Alright Adessa you win, i'll do that stupid modeling thing. Just don't show it to anyone in the guild. She sighed, there was no way she could live over this embarrassment but she preferred to be embarrassed to being scared. Adessa didn't stop pulling her even when she didn't resist anymore, Could you stop pulling, my butt is aching already. Ao looked up to Adessa with her dark blue eyes completely open.

They did soon arrive at the photo shoot, it wouldn't have been so bad if it wasn't a bikini shoot, but there was no way for Ao to back out of it. She did seem a little reluctant to actually talk to anyone there, so she hoped that Adessa would do the talking.

Adessa smiled evilly, she won and now there was no way Ao could escape now. There was just a simple promise that she would intend to keep. Adessa said, “I’ll even pinky promise on that. Would that make you feel better?” Adessa offered her hand as a pinky and shook on it if needed. And she also let go of her hand, but instead squeezed her butt commenting, “And we wouldn’t want a cute butt like yours sore now don’t we?”

Adessa arrived with Ao on tow regardless of choice, “We are here for the photo shoot.” Soon everything became a blur of makeup, measurements and posing for the cameras that would soon be up. Maybe this was going to be too quick for Ao, but Adessa was trying to help her break out of her self-hating fear. There really wasn’t much else to do, but check up on Ao. She walked in wearing a teal colored bikini and said to AO, “How are you holding up?”

Ao was pulled into a small tent like structure, there she was seated down in front of a mirror. A woman came behind her and took off her hat, she was surprised to notice the cat ears, but then smiled. Sweetie, why didn't you tell us you have these ears. Ao was shocked but ready, now she would be made fun of and sent away. But instead: Cat ears are very fashionable at the moment, you will bring us even more money. Now Ao was really shocked, she wanted to thank her but couldn't even say anything, she was just too happy, someone complimented her again.

After the make up had been done and her hair combed, she had put on a red bikini. Just as she was looking herself in the mirror, Adessa came into the tent. And asked her how she was holding up. Ao looked at her with a smile, I am doing fantastically, should we get the photo shoot done then?

Adessa smiled softly and hugged Ao softly, “You are so damn you cute you know that?” She gave Ao a good squeeze for good luck. This was definitely going to be hard on her when she faced the crowd, but she needed to face such fear herself. Adessa had no problems herself, it was basically a short walk to the stage, a few pictures as people stared at you and then off you go. Adessa actually even gave a small show, her butt swayed and her curvaceous features would win many hearts today. She made an impression, but now slightly worried about Ao.

Adessa just said, “Just have fun out there Ao, this mission is much better than others we could have.” Adessa just simple watched as little Ao walked to the stage. Adessa was already putting his clothes back to go home, but watched Ao’s performance attentively. This was going to be interesting.

Ao blushed as Adessa hugged her, she wasn't expecting a hug, especially when they were dressed like this. Adessa let go of her fairly soon and with that Ao went. She walked onto the stage, nervous, but confident at the same time. People were staring at her, but she tried to ignore that fact. Weirdly the photos they were taking didn't annoy her at all, she didn't care about that at all. The blush that started with Adessas hug, didn't wear off though. Her face was a little red through all of the walking and posing. She wasn't even half as brave as Adessa but managed.

As she walked off the stage, she held her hand on her chest, listening to her heart beat. It was a weird sensation, she had done something she would have never done alone. Ao smiled at Adessa, with her eyes sparkling, Thank you for bringing me here, it helped. After thanking Adessa, she went off to change her clothes.

Adessa smiled, “Of course Ao. Let’s go home.” Adessa walked with AO home for rest of the way home, it was funny to be honest. She seemed a lot happier and maybe a bit more confident now. It also showed Ao that the world was not going to condemn her for her ears. They even thought it was very cute on her in fact! She just said, “I told you your cat ears were cute.” The walk was uneventful aside from not needing to drag Ao anymore which was nice, but also boring at the same time. She wondered if there was anybody to test At Lamia Scale…

The next day though began with Adessa buying a magazine with Adessa and Ao in it. She looked at the pages with a satisfactory grin before yelling out, “If anyone wants to see the cutest girl in a bikini, turn to page 30!” Adessa kept her word, she didn’t show the magazine to anyone. Telling the whole guild was fair game.

The walk back to Lamia Scale was uneventful and fairly boring. Ao could only think of the photo shoot, nothing else came into her mind, well except for tacos a couple of times. In those times she would have a dreamy look on her face, not being able to focus at all. During the walk Ao and Adessa didn't talk much. The only things that Adessa said were compliments to Ao, about her ears. She had never thought of them as cute, but it seemed that others did. She was happy for her ears now, though this wouldn't stop her from wearing her beanie hats, she loved them even more. With that thought Ao pulled her hat down onto her face, not for hiding but for fun, she loved doing it. Soon they arrived back to Lamia and Ao went to sleep almost instantly.

Next day when Ao woke up, she noticed a copy of the magazine on her bed side. As she looked through the pictures, she was fairly embarrassed and blushed. Then she heard Adessa yelling: “If anyone wants to see the cutest girl in a bikini, turn to page 30!” Ao sighed, Well i'll just sleep more then, as she fell back onto the bed, There really isn't a way to keep Adessa under control.
