Strange Vulcan! (Ao/Talen/Adessa)

It was an interesting day at the spooky forest, but honestly was it really that scary. Sure it was dark and made weird noises everyone in a while, but Adessa was here with a goal in mind. There were Vulcan sightings all over this location and they were attacking nearby villages. There was however another ulterior reason she wanted to be here and it was fairly simply. She wanted to dissect a Vulcan in the name of science! What organs did they have and could she find enough samples to start genetically altering them? Ooh what new discoveries would she find?

She looked at the 2 team mates, one was screaming catgirl that reeked with cuteness. She needed to vivisect her one day and learn her secrets. The other was a man named Talen that was now officially Adessa’s guinea pig. And there would be so many wonderful tests with him. She was whistling in the street with a bag of corn dogs. They could take one if they asked, but it was to lure primates out. Hopefully the lure of food would bring one out. Adessa just happily said, “If we find Vulcans, can you guys try to keep them as intact as possible? I want to study it.~”

Talen felt nervous as he walked through the dark forest with the female mage and scientist. It was not because of the dark atmosphere of the forest, it was because he was not sure how powerful the other two were, and if they would be able to keep up if a fight broke out. He had heard that Ao was a powerful mage from Kariline, but had yet to really talk to or even interact with they shy mage. Adessa on the other had he had talk to on quite a few occasions. He was her guinea pig, a job that he did not particularly enjoy, however he did it to help protect the rest of the guild. Talen had never really seen Adessa in combat, he know that she used tiny robots to morph her body into weapons in combat, but he was not sure how good she was in a fight.

The first thing that they needed to do was find the Vulcans that had been causing the villagers problems. Well, Talen thought to himself, this is a perfect opportunity to summon her. Talen took out one of his silver keys, then raised it. "Gate of the Huntress, I open thee, Artemis!" The spirit walked out of the doorway, brown hair blowing slightly in a nonexistent breeze, before she picked up Talen in a tight hug, shaking him a little as she did so. "I missed you so much!!" the women said, "You have not summoned me since you joined that stupid guild." Artemis put Talen down and looked him over, "Oh, have you been eating well? have you been showering every night?" "Artemis." Talen interrupted softly. "And behind the ears?" "Artemis!" Talen said more forcefully. Artemis sighed, briefly closing her eyes. "What is it Talen?" "We need your help to find some Vulcans for a mission." Artemis smiled as she replied, "It should only take me a few minuets to find them." Artemis went to work, looking to the ground until she found a fresh Vulcan trail.

Artemis quickly lead the three guild members to a small clearing, motioning for them to keep quiet. The spirit pointed into the clearing, and three Vulcans could be seen, eating what appeared to be some of the food they had stolen form the villagers. Talen waited to see what the other two would do.

'Monster Dice' :

Ao was walking behind Talen and Adessa, in the Spooky forest. Just the name made chills go down Aos back, but actually being there, it was a horrifying experience for the car girl. She let out a small yelp for almost every little sound or movement she saw or heard. And thanks to her heightened hearing, she heard a lot of scary sounds. Her entire body was shaking, but Ao still kept walking behind her team mates as being alone near the edge was scarier than being with others in the middle of the forest.

Something happened that did make being in the forest just a little bit better and that was Talen summoning a celestial spirit called Artemis. The little one sided talk they had between them made Ao giggle a little bit, showing her happier side. The spirit quickly tracked down some vulcans and it seemed like they were eating. Ao didn't want to rush in or attack first really, she was a little nervous. She had actually never seen a Vulcan in her life before. This was a first time experience and Ao seemed to just be staring, with her eyes full of curiosity. She looked at Adessa, straight into her eyes, making one of the cutest faces she could and asked: Could you attack them first, i will support you?

Adessa suddenly wanted a blood sample from this summon, but promised that she wouldn’t needle stick Talen or his property for being the first to accept Miku. Instead there was a needle made from one of her fingers as she muttered, “Must get sample from Artemis.” Her hand was shaking violently as she tried to get self-control in her hand. It was so perfect too, she was mothering Talen. She then then groaned and put the needle away.

Adessa then lit up and smiled… abnormally wide in fact. This was a Vulcan huh? Well now it was going to her lab dead or alive. Adessa said, “I thought you’d never ask!” Adessa made a crossbow out of her hand and fired a crossbow bolt straight into the youngest Vulcans skull. Children make better samples, but she wanted as many as possible. She started laughing psychotically as she charged, her hand now converting to a sword. She was charging the Vulcan with a smile in her face as the mother Vulcan swiped at Adessa. She ducked under it a jumped up to a tree. She was laughing like a child in a candy store. This was Adessa letting herself loose. Combat and bloodshed truly invigorated her.

Adessa's eyes lit up as she started to attack the Vulcans, first shooting the youngest in the head, and then jumping into a tree to avoid another Vulcan. Talen shook his head, a little scared of the scientist.

Artemis looked at Adessa with a look of slight disgust, "Is that the kind of people in your guild? Maybe you should not have joined this guild..." "Artemis, now is not the time." "Fine." Artemis took out her bow and then an arrow. She closed her eyes and murmured something, causing the arrow head glowed a faint green. Artemis then fired the arrow at the feet of the Vulcan that had Adessa in a tree. As soon as the arrow landed in the earth, thick roots came up and ensnared the Vulcan, preventing it from moving. Next Artemis fired an arrow at the remaining Vulcan, the arrow buried itself a few inches into the beasts arm, but it only seemed to make it angrier. The Vulcan started to charge at the spirit, she did not even flinch, she placed another three arrows into the beast. The Vulcan slowed down and fell over right in front of Artemis, not moving. Artemis looked down and saw that the creature was still breathing, she pulled out another arrow and used it to slit the Vulcan's throat, bowing her head a little as she did so.

As the second Vulcan died, and the first one pulled against the roots holding it down. With a roar, it gave a mighty pull, and freed itself of the roots. "Oh great." Artemis said sounding annoyed. "These guys are a bit stronger then I expected."

Ao was just staring at both Adessa and Talens spirit fighting. She wasn't really in the mood to fight and was scared that she would mess up. The others seemed to be doing really well, so it looked like Ao wasn't needed. She relaxed as she watched them fight, Ao herself liked to fight, but at the same time was never the one to start a fight. The fight was unfolding in front of her eyes. It was getting a little too gruesome for Ao, but she could handle it.

When the bigger Vulcan got trapped, Ao sighed in relief, she had thought it would take more to knock it out but it didn't, well. As the Vulcan broke out of the binding, Ao yelped in fear and shock. She had hoped that had been the last of it. But when he noticed Adessa and Talen have problems with it, she decided to step in. The Vulcan seemed to be focused on the others, giving Ao the perfect opportunity to attack. She jumped from the bushes, running behind the Vulcan, getting ready to attack. Ao pulled in some air, opened her mouth and yelled: ''Sound Pulse.'' A wave of sound erupted from her mouth, hitting the Vulcan and sending it flying. The spell had released a loud sound, which probably hurt her team mates. Ao was sorry for it, but at the same time, at least Adessa knew it. And had hopefully taken some precautions.

This mission is canceled.
