Yakuo personality differs from any of his family members, but is more on the crazy side than others. When he is around others his manipulative side comes out, quickly finding any and all weaknesses in a person to twist them and use them as he likes. This first stemmed from being around his older brother and watching him around people. Underneath the manipulative and calm center, is a man filled with demented ideas and tactics. If one is unfortunate to catch him in one of his blood driven moods, they would find that he is much more sadistic than he appears to be.
Through all the sadistic thoughts and manipulative actions and thoughts, Yakuo can be a laid back person and even the best of friends. Nothing deters him from doing what he needs to do.
Honest to a Point: Whatever he has to say about a person or event he will be right up front and does not pull any punches. He would tell grown adult that if they had a story or info wrong and correct them. But when it comes down to helping a friend or someone in trouble he can lie with the best of them. But he can’t lie to his mother or grandpa.
Yakuo is a cynical person, a being whom only notices the negative things in life. And believes it to be better than being an optimistic person, believing them to be delusional people whom cling unto nothing but blind faith. He is an individual whom has more pride than it is good for. A prideful person, whom gets angry easily from being underestimated and the like.
The easiest part of Yakuo's personality to pin down is his tendency to be exceedingly [borderline stupidly] brave. Yakuo does not back down from any situation in which he can protect someone or something, such situations seeming to light a fire within him when they occur. And due to his stubborn nature, he cannot back down from them even if they grow out of hand, thus his bravery closely borders stupidity. It has been said that he would be likely to go against a Kage themselves if one [or even more than one] were to threaten something he cared about. Bearing that in mind, he also finds it exceedingly difficult to back down from any sort of challenge or dare, no matter how impractical or impossible it seems to be. This has indeed gotten him into many situations which were far over his head, quite a number of which, he barely managed to talk or fight his way out of.
He is oft criticized or berated by people who claim he has no common sense to keep him out of these situations. Yet this is both true and untrue, he is simply too prideful to back down, it would after all, be an insult to his name and pride if he were to do such a thing. One of the few things he absolutely cannot stand is an insult, be it to himself or to someone he cares for and often he will answer such an insult with a challenge to battle or some other ridiculous type of game, even if there is very little of a chance that he can win, which is highly likely to get him into a great deal of trouble or personal injury. He is not malicious with these acts though, he has good intentions, it is just that often these aspects of his personality conflict with his rationale.
Likes:
Drinking- Simply put, Yakuo loves to drink and makes a sport out of it. Sake, whiskey or anything alcoholic he will drink, as long as the time calls for it however. When he is not on duty, it is known he is at the bar drinking his ass off with the other ninja.
Nights- If its one thing Yakuo appreciates is the calming mood of the night, even though he will never express it himself. Only at night would one find him at peace and observe him...well observe the only beauty of the world.
Sparring- Of course being him pushes him to spar with just about anyone who wants to spar with him. Quick to start it and drag them out, Yakuo makes a small sport with Sparring and will only spar with those he sees potential in.
Dislikes:
Hangovers- Where there is good aspects of drinking, there are also bad and Hangovers are one of them. He hates it when he gets Hangovers enough to where he will pass out in just about any location after he had drunken more than any human should.
Weaklings- Simply put and to the point, Weaklings are Yakuo's number one pet peeve and even more so its enough to throw him into a fit of rage. Growing up around those with power and even in the position that he has within his family, he had no time for weaklings and was even taught to put them down.
Lectures from other people- Number two pet peeve of Yakuo is lectures from other people, especially from those younger than his age and even more so from those older than him. Feeling as if he has the answers to everything, when he does do something wrong, he generally looks at them with an annoyed looked and walks off.
Motivations:
FREEDOM; The typical dreams or goals of any average person, typically consists of either becoming rich, famous, or finding true love. However, he claims that he has absolutely no interests in such 'worthless' goals. And when asked for what his are... one would be shocked by how unusual his answer is. Above all else, he deeply desires for what he refers as 'True Freedom'. He constantly seeks it, wanting to attain it... no matter what the costs may be. The reasons behind such a desire are simple. He wants to break off the chains which society had put on him. Those chains grew heavier with every passing day, until eventually he had became overwhelmed with the fear of losing himself. Being part of a high class family, he had often been told to act as such. Thus he never had the option of doing whatever he wanted. Since when he had became a teenager, the accumulated emotions gained from such a neglected childhood, were burst out with the imbalance of hormones. As such, he is now referred as a 'rebel', doing whatever he desires... despite whether those desires causes troubles to others or himself.
EXCITEMENT; There are two different kinds of people, those whom find comfort in leading dull, peaceful lives... and those whom seek chaotic, exciting lives. Whenever one is subjugated to following orders, never doing anything for oneself during the entirety of their lives... excitement is greatly sought after by those individuals. But despite his desire for excitement, he rarely ever experiences it. Which explains the nearly constant apathetic face shown to others, devoid of any actual will; often being compared as lifeless. He requires a much more stimulating sense of excitement than other people, often these things are highly risky... often being illegal; some which may be referred as morally wrong by others. He adores everything about the feeling of excitement, the sweat, the adrenaline, the happiness, the loud thumping of his own heart... it is only then, that he can feel as if he is truly alive; which is why he doesn't care about how he obtains that emotion of his.

Loss of Freedom- One thing Yakuo fears the most is losing the one thing he loves the most, his freedom.
Death- No one likes it and no one wants to experience it, the fear of death has been stuck inside of his head since his first near death experience and ever since then it has stuck within a deep part of his sub conscience.
Agoraphobia- Agoraphobia is the fear of never being able to escape. Even though the principal of there always being three ways to escape, Yakuo has never had the luck of having any of them, resulting in him always making sure he has a way of escape...less he breaks down and results in him going into a fit of rage.

Yakuo has a very versatile, yet wild look that not only describes who he is it also shows it. Starting with his hair and facial features, he sports a very wild, yet mildly grown head of hair its natural and current color being Crimson Red. This coloration was given to him by his mother who had also had Crimson Red hair, now for his eyes however they are a gift from both his mother and father. The natural color of his eyes are Silver which give him a potent, yet wild look which are a natural trait from his Mother. The secondary coloring only occurs when he is in a very displeased mood [I.E. Anger, Disappointment, or overall crappy] and its color is Yellow, a trait given to him by his Father.
Moving on to his clothing, Yakuo sports a long sleeved black jacket which has a bit of fur going over his shoulder and ending at his shoulder blade. This jacket however stops at his mid section, showing parts of his sculpted stomach and upper torso. The apparel that encompasses his lower body is simply a pair of black pants that sit atop of black boots, which were modified to be combat proficient instead of heavy so he could utilize his speed efficiently.
