((More detail in General Appearance section))
Personality: Akihime can at once seem like a very simple human being while being capable of showing more complexity of character than anyone would have guessed at first glance. Her attitude can be described as bright, with a genuine positive outlook on the world and the people in it; her glasses are certainly rose-tinted, and her head is full of fantasies that can at times heavily contrast with what's actually going on. Possessing an imagination both endless as it is vivid, Akihime tends to put people onto a pedestal, particularly her mentor figures and those wizards of impressive magical stature. She is a believer of legends and of old fashioned notions such as 'chivalry' and 'justice' and 'good triumphing over evil'. Akihime can come off as a bit naive in that regard, but her intentions are good and her heart, though appearing somewhat weak and childlike, is actually quite strong.
She possesses a certain gift for the arts, and had she not fallen in love with the romance of being a wizard and the adventurer lifestyle, of completing jobs and helping others, Akihime would've chosen to become a professional artist or writer. Drawing and creating things is a hobby of hers as well as a relaxation technique, especially after a stressful job or emotionally draining moment.
Akihime is of a unique character where she has difficulty holding in her emotions - both elation and anger, frustration and worry, she is a pot of water without a lid that is likely to boil over in obvious ways. Her control over her emotions is poorest in high octane situations, or moments when it would probably be best for her to emotionally remove herself and take a step back. She is capable of doing it, it will just take maturity, patience and practice to gain mastery of herself.
She is fortunate, however, that her emotions can sometimes fuel her fighting strength and can aid her in doing something she may not've had the force of will to do before.
An incredible loyalty resides within this wizard, she makes the kind of bonds with people that, in her eyes, are designed to last throughout the ages. She can be open and friendly and endlessly compassionate, opting to force herself to stay positive, as she knows perfectly well that she can spiral into a dark place if she lets the bad things overwhelm her.
She can be something of a bookworm, and enjoys a myriad of literature from comics to Sorcerer Weekly to classical stories, and will often read on a train or in the car on the way to the next job.
When it comes to combat, this bubbly, bright personality can at once become serious - her battle style hovering between reckless and clever, often willing to risk serious bodily harm if it'll land that critical hit on the target. She battles with a dogged determination, and can sometimes get so caught up in the fight she may not always recognize when best to draw back or run away. She has something to prove, and wishes to impress the people and mentor-type figures she looks up to so much. She can sometimes value herself based on the praise or criticism of the higher-ups. Putting in shear hard work does have it's pay offs, however; her reflexes are sharp and her thoughts are usually quite clear - until someone makes it personal. Then she is no longer quite so well put together, and it's best that she has a partner to fight alongside her, someone who can bring her back out of her emotions to focus on what really matters.
In terms of leadership - both in the role and following someone else's lead, Akihime can be relatively flexible. Unless she disagrees with the leader, if they're the guild master or even a guild member, she's likely to grit her teeth and bear it rather than cause conflict. She is not the challenging type, and should she be under the command of someone she respects or admires, there is no order too severe for her to follow, often trusting in their judgment completely.
As a leader, however, Akihime's intentions may be good, but her judgment calls may not always be the best, and will likely rely on someone close to her to aid her in decision-making, knowing better than to let herself be overwhelmed by trying to handle it solo.

- Spoiler:
- Animals - Having always been a lover of dogs and cats growing up, this expanded to include nearly all creatures, even the dangerous ones, throughout her adventures.
- Books - Another prior childhood love carrying over into young adulthood, Akihime has always loved stories, particularly the adventurous kinds.
- Sketching - A relaxation technique of hers, drawing allows her to focus her mind and relax her thoughts.
- Legends and Ballads - They provide her with a sense of hope and reaffirm her strong position on justice and what it means to her to be considered a hero.
- Cooking - As passionate about excellent homemade food as she is about drawing, cooking is another relaxation technique with even better benefits - a delicious meal afterwards!
- Packing lunches for her teammates - when out on a job, she takes it upon herself to prepare nice meals for herself and the other mages in the team, not expecting anything out of it, just a gesture of kindness and camaraderie.
- Animals - Having always been a lover of dogs and cats growing up, this expanded to include nearly all creatures, even the dangerous ones, throughout her adventures.
- Spoiler:
- Rude or bigoted people, she doesn't find it fair to judge others based on their outward appearances or preferences.
- Snakes, Reptiles - Nothing against them personally, Akihime just isn't able to warm up to cold-blooded creatures, and the way snakes move tends to freak her out.
- Abnormally large bugs/insects - pretty self explanatory. Nothing like seeing a giant cockroach while out on a job to shake up her resolve or make her wuss out like a little girl.
- Burning food - Nothing can make her so unhappy than to accidentally burn food. Considering her current skills, this is a rare occasion, and she usually feels even worse if she burns food she had planned to serve someone else.
- Senseless death or destruction - Akihime refuses to take lives, as it goes against her idea of justice, and destroying property is not high on her list either. She can't help but feel bad whenever something gets busted up on the job, and she has trouble dealing with death, particularly of her guildmates.
- Rude or bigoted people, she doesn't find it fair to judge others based on their outward appearances or preferences.
Motivations:
- Justice - one of her defining characteristics is a willingness to live out the chivalrous life of a knight or legendary hero from all of the books she's read and the legends she's listened to. She wants to be looked up to as a symbol of hope and peace and morality.
- To find a sense of family within the guild, she seeks to fit in and be accepted and loved unconditionally like she expects a family to do. She can become very very attached to her guild if they can fulfill the role of 'family' in her life, which is thus far, devoid of such a crucial thing.
- Disappointing others - A powerful motivation for her is her fear of disappointing her friends and her superiors, she wants to stay within their favor, and while she can get a little extreme about it, she usually tries to manage this within reason.
Fears:
- Drowning - Akihime cannot swim, thus this is a reasonable fear of hers. This will not stop her from going into public pools, however, though it may take a little coaxing to get her farther than the shallows when at the beach.
- Thunderstorms - Without any true reason to be afraid of them, Akihime's fear of thunderstorms is a childhood thing, and represents loneliness or a feeling of abandonment due to an unfortunate past. The noise also makes her jumpy.
- Her friends and family dying - Akihime fears being alone above everything else, so to lose any of the bonds she's made in the guild would be truly awful for her to try and handle. It cause her to cling tighter and may make her extra protective of those who remain.

Eyes: A bright blue
Skin Tone: Fair/light
Appearance:
- Spoiler:
- Akihime is a fair-skinned young woman with bright blue eyes, dark reddish brown hair and a nice, hourglass figure (think Lucy though with slightly smaller breasts). She invests a lot of money in taking care of her skin and reducing or preventing scars during training, but it's impossible to have trained so hard and not get any. The most prominent is one on her right hip bone, which is more of a scar from a large puncture mark than a typical jagged slash-shaped scar or wound she usually gets when practicing with her mentor.
Her eyes are large and clear, rimmed by dark eyelashes and accentuate her fair facial features, her expression usually seen as benign or innocent, and she is often underestimated for just how young she looks [s]and sometimes behaves.[/s]
As for her clothing, Akihime wears a pleated green skirt that stops an inch above the knee, with storm-blue leggings underneath that stretch down to the middle of her calves. Her blouse is a white tank top, and she wears a pale red hooded jacket overtop of it with blue and light green accents. Her shoes are generally dirty and scuffed canvas sneakers. She carries her sword in it's unreleased state as a keychain/charm type of thing on a plain carved wooden-beaded bracelet around her left wrist.
