Zeno squinted his eyes a bit as the raw power of Acnologia came roaring down from the skies onto Warden. Magical pressure erupted from the red-eyed demon as it whipped up a heavy whirlwind across the area far and wide. Zeno's cape waved violently in the wind, but the Wizard Saint didn't flinch.
As soon as Warden took that one decisive step forward, Zeno retaliated with an even greater burst of aura of his own. His vision of Warden may have been obscured, but so was Warden's vision of him.
That brief moment was all the time he needed. In that instant, as Warden blinked through the space between them, arcane magic rushed out of Zeno in several ways. His shining arcane armor had a slight glow to it, indicating that his Arcane Immunity was active. Zeno's right hand was engulfed in arcane energy with the handle of Retribution attached to his gauntlet. This was one of the most special forms of his unique artifact. The energy released from the handle would form a gauntlet of pure arcane upon his right arm, making him able to block blades, shatter armor, and tear through shields with his hand alone. Hovering next to the left side of his body was an exact replica of the gauntlet, which he could telekinetically control. A card was on the ground not far from his feet, covered up by the settling dust. Some other cards were hidden up his sleeves as well.
Zeno observed as Warden emerged from the dust right next to him. The sword made its way for his shoulder, Zeno didn't even move or blink, yet before it even connected Warden kicked over to the other side to swing at Zeno in an upward motion.
That's when he sprung his trap. Zeno didn't move to block or dodge Warden's attack at all. The speed and physical power Zeno had to bring forth in order to surpass Warden's was surprising to say the least, but he managed. As The River Styx slashed at his armor, it didn't even leave a scratch; Zeno's Arcane Immunity protected him from any damage the blade could deal. The whole scene was but a flicker; when the blade initially touched the armor, the hovering arcane gauntlet had already grabbed Warden's leg and yanked it down. As the blade scratched at Zeno's side, Warden's foot made contact with the card on the ground: "Major Arcana: The Tower", and his right fist, powered by the arcane gauntlet, flashed forward to deal a shattering blow to the nose.
The final motions of Zeno's counter attack happened simultaneously. By the time Warden would finish his unsuccesful upward strike to cut his opponent in half, Zeno would have connected his face-breaking right cross, and the arcane crystals of The Tower would have risen from the ground to keep Warden tethered in place until he'd break out. If Warden would choose not to, the crystals would just rise up and imprison his entire body within moments.
Zeno was not counting on the full imprisonment though. Trapping Warden's lower body for a moment would be enough. It would prevent him from flying backwards after Zeno's punch and allow Zeno to either follow up with another attack or create some distance.

Description: Zeno can activate an instant aura that makes him immune to damage from spells of equal or lower power until the end of the duration. The aura is cancelled out upon violent contact with a spell of equal rank.

- Immune to A rank magic or lower.
- Immune to S rank magic impact.
Weaknesses:
- Buffs of a different magic type cannot be applied to Zeno when this spell is active.
- S Rank magic cancels out the aura.
- H Rank magic still applies the same amount of damage.

Name:( Arcane ) Retribution
Type: Artifact
Description: A long silver zweihänder handle without a blade hanging from a chain around the owner's waist. The owner can pull it off the chain to use it as a weapon, and reattach it when he wishes not to use it. Retribution enhances the user's magical powers and allows the user to unleash latent magical powers in the form of raw energy corresponding to the user's type of magic. As it is currently in Zeno's posession, it unleashes Arcane energy. The Arcane energy is unleashed in the form of one-handed or two-handed weapons. Blades, axes, spears, etc. of Arcane energy are released from the handle.
Strengths:
- Allows the user to create any type of one- or two-handed weapons.
- The weapons can deal cut, blunt and pierce damage with a burning effect.
- Has a very light weight.
- Can only be used by the owner of the Artifact, it can only be passed down onto someone else willingly by the previous owner.
- Can resist spells up to A Rank attacks.
Weaknesses:
- Duration for the energy release: 12 posts
- Cooldown for the energy release: 6 posts
- Unusable during cooldown.
- Can be broken by S Rank or higher attacks.
- Arcane Replica:
Name: Arcane Replica
Type: Major Arcana
Rank: S
Description: Energy is projected from the handle as a replica of Retribution. It becomes a hovering weapon of pure arcane energy that can take on the shape of a different weapon than the current form of the real Retribution. The shape, however, cannot be changed. When Zeno attacks with the real Retribution, he automatically attacks with the replica as well as if he controls is through telekenesis, while it is actually projected energy from Retribution. The replica and the real one always attack simultaneously, never separately.
Strengths:
- Hovering S Rank Spellweapon
- Can break through A Rank defenses
- Heavily damages S Rank defenses
Weaknesses:
- Duration: 5 posts
- Cooldown: 5 post
- Can be broken by an overpowering S rank impact.
- Only attacks when Retribution attacks.

Name: The Tower
Rank: B Rank
Type: Major Arcana
Description: One of the Major Arcana cards appears in the Holder's hand in the regular position after which it dissolves and becomes a swirling mass of blue Arcane energy around the Holder's hand. The Holder then fires it onto a surface after which Arcane crystals rise out of the ground attaching to anything it hits. The crystals then rapidly imprison and immobilize the attached object or person within an Arcane crystalline structure. ( Ex.: Holder fires the energy onto the ground,Arcane crystals rise out of the ground, attach to a foot, imprison the whole lower body in an Arcane crystalline structure. )
Strengths:
- The crystal tower can only be destroyed by A-Rank or higher Spells.
- The Arcane crystals are incredibly heavy.
Weaknesses:
- The structure can be shattered by A-Rank or higher Spells without splash damage.
