Die A Hero, Or Live Long Enough To See Yourself Become The Villain
Her face contoured into a hardly amused vex at his arrogant words and his distasteful compliment hardly cushioned the blow. She didn’t like him already and his actions would only cast an even more negative impression… He really could've saved himself her judgment if he just kept his mouth shut-- He got up and stepped towards her. Famine watch as his hand lifted-- and reached straight for her breasts… Quickly and without any indication aside from the blinking of her eyes she cast a spell on herself.
His fingers, as though she were nothing but a hallucination, phased right through her form where he attempted to lay his palm to Famine’s chest to her and grope her bosom. She clicked her tongue to the palate in her mouth, a ‘tch’ of detest escaping from her…-Man… quite the approach with a woman. All she could think was such a disgusting creature he was.
Famine’s head turned, so to attempt and keep an eye on him as he whirled around behind her. The guild master quickly picked up the glint of the scythe blade as it had been summoned. Though, in her intangible form she did not flinch nor made an effort to move. Every slash from the first to the sixth all sliced through her ghost like projection and inflicted no touch or feeling--aside maybe that of perhaps a little tickle…
Great...Now he was downright attacking her in her own guild. She quickly raised a hand, fanning off her mages who had risen from their seat at the sight of the man attempting to assault her.
There was a pause and she focused a mental, calculating, eye on both her and her offender's status. From her angle, facing the long and narrow windows she knew her shadow draped behind her, where Vlad stood precisely. A smile touched her lips-- not one of an innocent or pure delight but something malevolent-- like the glinting of a freshly sharpened knife in the darkness. Just as quickly as she had conjured the energy a barrage of five jagged spikes rose up from the shadow-cast ground, each aiming to piece him at a new angle…. And when either of them struck she was sure he would have second thoughts about coming so close to the unhinged maker mage…
She slid forwards, turning her front back towards him as she divided the space between them by three meters or so. Famine reached a hand out to her side, tracing her line in the air. Like she’d cut a rift between worlds a shadowy, depthless portal opened, and what drifted out was none other than the Tome she had named herself after. The book, as if possessing levitating capabilities hovered to her side and whirred its ancient pages open to her. As the text now hovered within her range she reached a palm out and touched the parchment. Famine quickly felt more power well up inside her. She had uncorked the strength, speed, and endurance of the third horseman himself… Anyone who could sense magic could tell that her capabilities had grown a great deal.
“I’d think twice about coming near me again. -I don’t do meaningless battles. Should I even bother to waste another drop of energy on you?... All I’ve seen you do is brawl like an egotistic, irrational child.” The words lashed off her tongue harsh and coldly, gaze unmoving from Vlad.
Though she were standing in oil and dropped a match a massive violet aura ignited beneath her soles and engulfed her form: Famine’s Aura, there true magical potential unleashed. Just being in vicinity of her would harm and strike the dark haired mage standing before her with sickness… and he would suffer a five percent loss to his health every post he remained in her presence, throwing swings she’d be smart enough to evade… until he inevitably could not stand to fight her anymore. That…. That was where she would end his life-- if he was even deservant of such a kind deed.
“Someone who makes an entrance by attacking their peers and their own master is hardly worth taking into this…...syndicate. What is it that you want from this place, and what else can you possibly give me for sanctuary here?”

Name: The Horseman’s Body
Rank: D-Rank
Type: Supportive, Buff, Passive
Description:
Each of the horsemen had an extremely powerful body; sure, their weapons were amazingly powerful, but nothing would’ve come of them if they all didn’t have a powerful and durable body. This passive ability that is activated only by holding the weapon grants the user an extremely powerful and durable body; not on par with that of the horsemen, of course, but it greatly strengthens their overall abilities - speed, strength and endurance. While with this weapon, the user becomes faster than any sprinter, stronger than any weight lifter, and can withstand and last longer than any boxer or fighter of any kind; in other words, they become peak humans in all of those qualities.
Strengths:
* Grants the wielder of the Tome the body of a peak human in multiple aspects.
Weaknesses:
* This passive ability only works while the Tome is within the users grasp, meaning that without this weapon, it cannot be used.

Name: Famine’s Aura
Rank: C-Rank
Type: Supportive
Description:
Famine was perhaps the most patient and sadistic of the four horsemen who would represent decay and suffering. While the incantations themselves were terrifying enough, Famine’s constant use of them caused an unexpected side effect; a decaying aura. Anyone who came into contact with or even got close to Famine would find themselves beginning to feel nauseous. This feeling would only become more pronounced and more threatening the longer they spent in the Horseman’s presence, eventually to the point where they lacked the strength to fight on. While the Tome of Famine does not grant this effect as a passive like Famine once had, it can be activated at will by the Tome’s wielder.
Anyone who is within 10 meters of the caster will begin to feel nauseous. For every post that passes the opponent will lose 5% of their maximum HP and will have their strength and durability drained by a further 10%.
Anyone who comes into direct contact with the caster will immediately vomit. They suffer from 10% HP loss every post and their strength and durability is decreased by 25% for 5 posts. Spells the victim tries to cast will cost an additional 5% of magical energy. The first effect does not stack on top of this.
Furthermore, any soil, water or element within the range of this spell will become cursed and begin rotting, making it inedible and unusable for slayers and mages alike.
Strengths:
* A great method of weakening an enemy both physically and mentally by making them feel so ill that they’d wished they’d not left their beds that morning.
*Rots the surrounding area, making it inedible to Slayers and impossible to manipulate and use by mages.
Weaknesses:
* This spell only has a range of 10 meters, thus anyone out of that range will not be affected.
* Famine would not distinguish between friend or foe on the battlefield with exception of the fellow horsemen. As such, all allies except those who wield a weapon of a Horseman are as equally afflicted by the spell as an enemy would be.
