A demon and a god wait in line.

The Job:

Faust held the flier in his hand, the winter winds blew strong today in the city of Rose Garden. People were bustling around the area with no sense of direction. He stood there in the center of a busy intersection where dozens of these flyers filled the ground and the air. One would think that the government had massacred a whole forest just to make these dumb pieces of paper. ”Pfft” He crumpled up the paper and threw it at some man with his back turned to Faust, before the man even turned to see who had threw it Faust had already slipped into the crowd and begun to make his way towards the passport office. He had no need to leave the country at the moment but who would know if he wished to slip away to some exotic area in the near future, plus Fiore was just one small country to spread chaos in, a passport would open doors to let his plans spread. As he neared the office he noticed a very long line there, his eyes rolled due to his annoyance at the situation but he guessed he would stand here and wait like a normal person for once in his life.

As he stood in line a small child from the woman in front constantly kept turning around looking at Faust. After a few times of this occurring the little boy started to make faces at him, sticking his tongue out, picking his nose, causing his eyes to look funky, all trying to get a ruse out of Faust. The ice demon just kept a plain face, he was annoyed but if he let his anger actually come out he would be carted away by the Rune Knights with bloodstained cloths on. His mother finally started to do her job and grabbed the boys hand yanking him to stand next to her, wise move on her part. The line slowly crept along, before he even noticed the small bit of commotion from people being shoved out of the way a kiss was planted on his cheek causing his eyes to open up wide. He turned around to see standing there Ren, one of the most powerful mages of Savage Skull. A woman of her powers standing in the same line as magicless swine was almost unheard of. He personally had never met the woman but had heard her name whispered in the shadows of the guild along with seeing her image a few times in some of the portraits lining the walls. He took a step back to allow the woman to slid in line in front of him. “Ren, a pleasure to see you here. Do you have plans to travel as well?” He had little care for the response that she would give him, he was just trying to make small talk while the two wasted this day in their lives waiting in line.

Faust noticed the kid falling down a breeze seemed to blow through, no doubt Ren’s doing. A smile crossed his face, the brat deserved it and more. The line was nearing the passport office, it would not be too much longer until they were finally at the end of their wait. Ren talked about how she wanted a passport just in case she needed to go somewhere else to do work, similar mindset to Faust in that regards. “Yea, I understand that. It is more or less the same reason I plan on getting one myself. Sometimes even a country as large as Fiore can get a bit dull.” The two were now right outside the door to the office. He knew that they were not letting those that were part of dark guilds to get a passport so he had drawn up some fake papers so that he could hopefully still get one. The papers were tucked into his jacket’s pocket safe and sound from the rest of the world.

Faust walked up to the office. He handed his fake papers, Matthew Giger, a D rank mage from Fairy Tail. THE woman looked over the papers for a moment, put her stamps on a few things and quickly handed him the papers. "You are all set Mr. Giger. Hope you enjoy your visits to the rest of EArthland." She gave him a warm smile and handed him a black and blue passport with his face on it. He took the passport and walked outside. Before he knew what was happeneing he felt an all too familar occurance happen. He was wisked away faster than he could blink. Next thing he knew he was standing on the rooftop of a building overlooking the passport office, or what was left of it at least. The office seemed to have been attacked, judging by the look on the one who teleported him he could guess who had done such a feat. A smile crossed his face as he saw the little boy that was bugging him knocked out unconcious his mother crying, what a little brat deserved to die now before he actually got old enough to be a real dick. Faust looked at Ren with an evil grin. "Well Ms. Ren where to next?"
