Description:
A creature of imposing, yet odd nature, appearing like the rotten corpse of a long-dead dragon, bones and tattered wings being proof enough of that fact. A dragon, however, this being is certainly not. Not anymore, at least. The spirit of a self-proclaimed nature goddess resides within this massive corpse, the being that possesses it calling herself Derevina. She can communicate with anyone she chooses via telepathy, and her voice, distinctly female, is composed, dignified, and unmistakably ancient. Derevina conducts herself respectfully... if she is respected, though she commands an attribute of nature that is often associated with death: Decay. The fact that Derevina is deeply connected with this element leads to her often being misunderstood, feared, and even shunned by the civilizations of Earthland, many a folktale being woven around the black dragon of death that wanders the wastelands of the world and brings misery to all who behold it. Indeed, some cultures that met their downfall at her behest have called her "The Black Dragon of Apocalypse".

The truth is, of course, different from this misconception, perhaps tragically so. Like her sisters, she simply represents an integral aspect of nature, the cycle of birth, life, death, and rebirth which continues for eternity, though the resentment that has been harbored against her has made her somewhat bitter. She is not easily trusting, but is fiercely loyal to those who accept her. Still, death and decay seem to follow in her wake, and flora withers and dies where she treads, giving clear representation to the power at her ready disposal, which she employs to great destructiveness in battle. Derevina's only goal is to wander the world and put to rest nature that has reached the end of its life.

Description: The power that dwells within Derevina has been feared and scorned for centuries untold, and for good reason. While death is an integral part of nature, all living things nonetheless fear it. This power can manifest as pure might for not only Derevina, but also the one she is bonded to, bestowing upon both the corrupted blessings of nature. Her user and Derevina receive a 50% increase to their base MP and base Spell Damage.

Name: Avatar of Decay

Description: The loyal bond Derevina can create with another being is a result of her arcane gifts granted by nature, enabling her to enter a pact with her user, transforming into her avatar, an avatar of death. Derevina can see and hear through the eyes of her chosen avatar at will, and the avatar can do the same. She can telepathically communicate with her user at any distance. Derevina can occupy the form of her avatar and possess them when she is not engaged in combat, the user's eyes glowing a deep azure blue while this is in effect. This bond of trust, this sacred contract between the goddess and her chosen enables Derevina's user to designate a single one of their magics to be blessed by Derevina's gifts of death. This magic is automatically treated as a Solitary "Bond" type magic for Derevina (without receiving the magic type benefit), meaning that Derevina can utilize spells from that magic at will. All rules for "Bond" type magic apply. Derevina's chosen avatar receives the power to control their life force and expend it in previously unknown ways. The magic in question and the user of the magic, in addition to receiving its regular magic type benefits, also receive the full Solitary benefit of a "Blood" type magic. All rules for "Blood" type magic apply. The magic designated as a target for this ability must be denoted as such in the magic application itself.

Description: Derevina gathers energy within her form, magical force black as charcoal rising from the surrounding area in strings that appear somewhat like smoke, before releasing it in a massive burst of corrupted energy around her position. All organic tissue touched by this wave is immediately corroded and continues to rot, flora and fauna alike being drained of their life as they are returned to the earth. Deals 300 HP of spell damage upon being first hit, and as targets continue to rot, they will receive the same damage at the beginning of every post thereafter for an additional 4 posts. Should targets die from this ability, they dry out and crumble as they are rotted to the very core. Any living that dies through the use of this ability cannot be revived under any circumstances. This ability cannot be copied, negated, redirected, or reflected. Damage incurred via this ability cannot be healed as long as the ability remains active.

Description: Derevina flexes the remains of her rotting black wings, a copious amount of black rot and sludge begins to form on them for this technique. She then flaps her wings, unleashing a powerful gust of air infused with the rot that was once on her wings visibly flying in the air. Those in the area struck by this wave of black sludge will instantly feel themselves begin to burn from the rot, along with being dealt the damage above they will also suffer a 5% HP burn per post and a spell debuff (what's a spell debuff kek) of 115% for the duration of this technique. Organic objects coated by this substance will also noticeably rot and decay at a alarming rate, leaving nothing but a black sludge that given time will be absorbed by the ground producing rich soil(OOC permission required for player owned characters, NPC's and event owned NPC's organic belongings to be affected in the same manner).

The goddess can once per post teleport within this spell's range to intercept a incoming spell, appearing a meter away from it. The spell is considered negated if it is this spell's rank or lower, stopped in place as colonies of molds, fungus, and worms seem to sprout and cover it before turning to dust with the actual spell itself(once per post) (Following all negation rules).
