Viguul
Grade:
Ethereal (+)
Species:
Corrupted Monstrosity
Type:
Combat Pet
Proof of purchase:
Here are the Melty Boi's adoption papers and proof of being a Bond Pet
Description:
Viguul is as enigmatic as they come and perhaps just as violent, too. The stories surrounding his creation or development range from the plausible to the wildly outlandish. There is the story about how he was once a leprechaun who sought nothing but happiness and the preservation of his gold. But a wicked man named Jacob and his cruel wife and children found the creature and abused it, taunting it and stealing its gold. Legends also speak of a demon that had grown tired of its existence in Hell and had crawled through the earth to escape to its freedom, only to find the world hateful and violent to its existence. Whatever the true origin is, all that is known is that Viguul has been corrupted by forces beyond comprehension, granted a vile and toxic power so that they could engulf in the world in venomous agony.
Abilities:
Name: Sickly Strength
Rank: User Rank Advanced (Up to S+)
Category: Auxiliary
Type: Single Target - Buff, HP Regen
Damage: N/a
Range: Melee
Speed: Melee
Duration: User Rank Advanced Max
Description: Viguul’s own venomous aura seeps off of them and to an ally within melee range. While expectant to become as bilious as the creature itself, the target will instead feel empowered by the aura. Strength is increased by a user rank advanced active buff for the duration of the ability and the target’s HP will slowly regenerate at 5% of their maximum HP every post this ability remains active.
Name: Pestilent Spew
Rank: User Rank Advanced (Up to A+)
Category: Offensive
Type: AoE - Debuff, Drain, Negation
Damage: User Rank Advanced AoE Damage
Range: User Rank Advanced AoE Range
Speed: User Rank Advanced AoE Speed
Duration: User Rank Advanced Max
Description: Viguul reaches deep into its core, making a disgusting and moist hacking noise as it compiles corrupted mucus in the back of its throat. It then releases a vile, noxious spray of venomous liquids that encompass an area within the ability's range. Anyone directly hit by the spew or that accidentally pass through the puddle afterward begin to feel the sickly effects almost immediately. Their movement speed is reduced by 200% as their world begins to waver and shake. Their HP is drained by 5% for each turn of the duration as the poisons seep into their flesh and eat away at their body. Additionally, Viguul can be ordered to use this spew to negate a single spell, ability, or technique within advanced burst range equal to this ability's rank per post by literally melting it to nothingness, as long as the casting price of the original spell or ability is paid. This can only be done on spells, abilities, or techniques equal to this ability and lower in rank.
Name: Markings of Protection
Grade: Artifact
Type: Armor (Combat Pet)
Proof of Acquisition: Using my VIP Item!
Description: The Markings of Protection are an odd thing. Due to Vigull's corrupted nature, most attempts to apply items to the creature that can keep it protected wind up corroding away at a rather rapid rate. However, the same cannot be said for things like it's own body, or the body of that who it is bound to. As a result, Anya teamed up with one of the Abyssal Fleet's resident Runesmiths and created a special dye. Made from a mixture of Vigull's corruptive essence and Anya's own blood, this Dye is able to be applied onto the creature without harming it. This has allowed Anya and her runesmith to create a series of magical markings that radiate outwards from Viguul's chest, glowing the same color as it's corrupted core. These markings act as armor, granting Viguul enhanced durability, as well as providing further benefits to the creature.

Name: Waning Crescent
Grade: Legendary (+)
Type: Weapon
Proof of Acquisition: Here we Are
Description: This finely-made weapon is quite hard to classify. On the one hand, the proportion of blade to handle makes it far too large to be a dagger. On another, the blade is far too short to be a proper sword. On yet another, one could tilt their head and squint and not be blamed for potentially seeing an axe with too short of a handle. In truth, Waning Crescent is more likely to be a very specific type of weapon known as a Shotel.
Judging by the ornamentation and maker's mark, all signs point to this weapon having been made in Pergrande. However, the Maker's Mark does not match any modern smith. In fact, the insignia on this weapon seems to point towards one of the many dark stories told to children. That of a night sky that could blink back at those who stared up at it, and the men and women who were mad enough to wait for the sky to blink back at them. And yet, there is something twisted to it. Any of those who are knowledgeable enough about the history of Pergrande would have no problem tracking down the imagery on the blade itself to a stubborn cult that supposedly, once plagued small villages all throughout Pergrande in the name of giving birth to their 'god'.
Whether there is any truth to these stories is hard to tell. Not that it's current owner cares any for the stories that regard it's supposed history. Discovered at the same time as Viguul--thanks to it being buried in part of the Creature's body at the time--Anya has claimed this weapon for herself. Over time, she has begun to learn about some of the powers this weapon has possessed, and has even managed to tap back into some of them.
Abilities:
Name: A Midnight Sky
Rank: B Rank (Caps at A)
Category: Offensive
Type: Single Target
Damage: User Rank Multi Target Damage (Caps at A)
Range: User Rank Multi Target Range (Caps at A)
Speed: User Rank Multi Target Speed (Caps at A)
Duration: 6 Posts
Downside: The normal Maximum Duration of this ability's Maximum Possible Tier is applied as a cooldown when the duration ends.
Description: Waning Crescent is at it's heart, a medium through which contact with an extraplanar being is made. However, the material form has it's limitations, and unlike a blade made of proper extradimensional materials, the true power it holds can only be activated for so long. This ability can only be activated by swinging the Shotel at an opponent. This act--the act of attempting to rend flesh--alone is enough to activate some of the extradimensional power this blade still carries. When swung, the markings along the blade all begin to glow with what appears to be moonlight as the blade itself darkens to the color of a night sky. For the duration of this ability, Waning Crescent deals User Ranked Multi-Target damage to any target it strikes, as well as gaining the ability to send out blasts of corrupted moonlight to strike within Multi-Target range instead of Melee Range. However, Anya can only strike up to six targets in any one post while this is active.
Name: Touch of The Endless Night
Rank: B+
Category: Offensive
Type: Multi-Target
Damage: 90 HP
Range: 225 Meters
Speed: 165 Meters per Second
Duration: 8 Posts
Downside: N/A
Description: While this weapon can draw upon a suitable amount of energy on its own, it is capable of accessing a far more potent attack than the average swing would otherwise lead one to believe. By rotating the weapon 180 degrees in one's hand and reversing their grip on the weapon--so as to make the curvature of the blade mirror that of a crescent moon--the entire blade becomes covered in an eerie darkness, nearing almost complete pitch blackness before the darkness breaks, leaving behind a blade that has a complete mirrored finish, with specks of stars caught like flies in amber. For the duration of this ability, Waning Crescent can be used to attack up multiple targets simultaneously using razor sharp crescent moons of pure cosmic energy. Specifically, these attacks can strike up to a maximum of eight targets per post. When the duration ends, not only does the mirror shine fade, but the weapon seems to lose all saturation in its colors, marking the beginning of a charge period that can last up to days at a time.

Rank: B
Category: Offensive
Type: Single Target - Debuff
Damage: 80 HP
Range: 200 Meters
Speed: 200 Meters Per Second
Duration: 6 Posts
Downside: N/A
Description: Viguul reaches deep into its core, gathering and concentrating it's vile and toxic power into its throat before releasing an ear splitting roar, releasing the built up, acrid power in the form of a noxious green beam of magical energy. Those who are struck by this are affected almost immediately, as their magical reserves are directly attacked, the corruption aimed not at their vital organs, but at their magical ones. Thanks to the deeply infectious, corruptive nature of Viguul's power the target's spell healing is reduced by 60% for the duration of this ability.
Name: Baleful Power
Rank: B

Type: Single Target - Buff, HP Regen
Damage: N/A

Duration: 6 Posts
Downside: N/A
Description: Drawing upon the power of the corruption that flows through it, Viguul's body begins to release a black and crimson aura that lashes away from itself like tongues of flame moving through slowed time. This aurora of corruption and pestilence empowers the creature, granting it 60% additional Spell Damage for the duration. Due to how baneful this aura is, spells seem to burn away against its body. For the duration of this spell, it regenerates 5% of it's HP per post.
