✺ Stoneweaving and spindrifting were artforms of movement that the golden girl utilized nearly constantly in her life, skidding across the world as fast as her heart would allow her to flutter- the dark mage found herself traveling across a steep mountain range that was approaching the town of Shirotsume upon her ethereal rock board, her golden optics lustrous within the sunlight that was slowly fading within the high peaks. It was nearing the ultimate happy hour in the bars of the wealthy that resided within the small town of decadent mansions- the rock surfer was approaching with the mission to eliminate governmental officials that were said to be attending that day as well in order to speak of their plans of fortification. Their motives were clear to not be of interest of the dark guilds that resided within Fiore and beings of criminal habits, which could not be tolerated in the eyes of the blizzard-ridden castle that Cordelia found herself part of; it had been nearly a month that she had been marked by the asterisk of Errings Rising upon her tongue, growing tremendously quickly in the magical power that she had retained by taking on underground jobs that one would deem as evil. It made her feel ultimately more independent as she would wander the canyons of the magical world upon her manipulation of terra, knowing the laws of the land could no longer hold her back. ✺
✺ Wavering back and forth upon thick spruce trees that lined the exterior of the large mansions that dotted the rough landscape, the dragon slayer and her companions of fluff would seemingly shoot into the streets of the high-class, which would only consist of a few maids standing near the doors of the nearby houses- just down the street appeared to be a bustling multi-story bar of golden lights that would illuminate its surroundings, which would most likely host the majority of those that called the town their residence and their masters. "Hi loves! ♡ " the golden girl would exclaim following the wave of a few of the maids that were to sit near where she was to emerge from the mountainside, taking a swig from a small flask that would appear almost out of nowhere from her sleeve as she would approach, "can you guys watch my red pandas while I go to the bar super fast? They love pets and bellyrubs~!" A simple request for the maids that looked to be waiting for someone, the two animals would hop down from Cordelia's shoulders and run toward the two, rolling over as they would lean down to give them affection. "Yes, we would love to, ma'am! Our master, Myrcella Avenenuex, is currently in a meeting with the leaders of Shirotsume over there, so we figured we would be waiting for a while." It was perfect. Allowing her rock board to crumble into a pile of rock and dirt in front of the kind maidens, the mischievous alcoholic giggled as she would thank them quickly and run toward the glowing lights that would eliminate from the glass windowpanes of the mansion-turned-bar- it was go-time! ✺
✺ Bursting through the giant door that led into the bustling corridor, the crowd near the doors would silence and peer at the two-tone-haired girl in response to her grand entrance, soon resuming their activities once more. There were loads of commonfolk on the first level of the gathering-place, which made it difficult for the slayer to make her way through them toward the second story; this was commonplace for the big dudes to hang out, or so she had witnessed within her hometown and the black markets. Up the stairwell of glowing gold seemed to reside a bit of a quieter bar of individuals- they donned royal attires alongside sleek suits and dresses of golden colors, which made Cordelia feel a bit more at home. It was as if she was to fit the dress code perfectly just by the golden and purple dress that she would don that night, given to her within the fortress of her guild- talk about lucky! Taking a seat at the end of the bar within earshot of what appeared to be a large table of about seven or eight individuals of high class, the slayer would slowly fluctuate her eyes to listen to what they were to speak about as the bartender would begin to fix her a beverage. They indeed would speak about those that were like the girl that sat alone at the bar- dark mages, her friends. The tone of the officials made it seem like they thought they knew everything about those that were not deemed as the brightest in the eyes of the Magic Council, and how they think they could control them. Tapping her fingers in a bit of frustration, the wandering saleswoman of blonde-brunette hair would sigh as she would look toward the table and spit in their direction in disgust; this would shock the few that would be able to witness this, though it would go unnoticed by most at the special table. ✺
✺ "I believe deploying three to five new squadrons of officers to occupy Shirotsume and its surrounding trails would be a very efficient way to curb the crime that would be attempted within this safe haven for, well, people like us, Lorenzo. This town was made for the higher class, and protecting those wealthy enough to live in these parts is something I feel should be prioritized," a woman that donned a long, black and gold dress with bundled up silver hair would begin to speak, "though there has not been a long history of outward expression of terrible things here any more than there have been elsewhere in Fiore, we need to ensure that people of our caliber of status can live without having to think about there being dark mages sulking in the shadows here! It's disgusting, really!" Fanning herself with a thick black and gold fan that sat in-between her pale fingers, she would begin to laugh as she would conclude her point, which would cause the skin of the dragon slayer to turn a bit warmer as the table would laugh in response. "Y'all don't know shit," she would mumble under her breath as the table would continue to speak, going completely unnoticed once again. "Madame Avenenuex, you are just so wise. I'm glad you share such hatred for scum like those just as we do." another individual would speak at the table, their eyes glancing at the drunken golden girl that seemed to have neared closer to their meeting as the verbiage flowed out from their lips. ✺
✺ "You all don't know shit about dark mages, they don't let the law stop them!~," Cordelia would exclaim in a cutesy, loud voice as she would lean up against the table, the violet optics upon her rosy cheeks appearing as vibrant as ever, "bootlicking fuckers. If anyone is scum, it's you~! ♡" Manifesting what appeared to be a floating array of largely serrated knives made entirely out of rock and dirt behind her as if they were wings as she would move backwards from the table, it would seem as if those sitting comfortably were now attempting to flee in a state of panic, along with the others that resided within the other bar previously upon witnessing this exchange. Raising her hand and moving it downward, she would hurl these spikes of terra toward the woman and the other officials that were attempting to stand from their chairs- these would pierce through four of their bodies and skulls from the top-down one by one, causing them to fall to their misery upon the golden table as their death reaper would run toward the fleeing crowd of the other half of the meeting. "Errings Rising is what you should be scared of~!♡" the slayer would exclaim as she would chase the remaining officials down the stairs into the main party, which would be scattered in an attempt to escape with their lives; causing the ground under the bar to tremble, giant pillars of rock would shoot out from the ground and crush a few unfortunate souls in-between them and the ceiling, stopping the rest of the group in their tracks as they had nowhere else to run. ✺
✺ The rest of the officials happened to meet the same fate as their colleagues upon the sharp edges of the dirt knives, fading into the dust and dirt that would coat the air within the destroyed bar of Shirotsume- it was completely cleared from the inside out, and the rest of the residents of the town that had witnessed the murder-fest happened to find their way down the mountain paths to escape what may have ended up being their last moments as well. Within the billowing clouds of dust and smoke that would flow out of the openings of the golden ruins, it would seem as if the rock surfer wished to do more than call the quest done- manipulating the lifeless bodies that sat upon the rock knives' delicate blades, Cordelia would mount the heads of those that met their doom upon the uneven pillars along with etched designs of her guild mark to convey the message of a threat. A threat to anyone else that would think in the same way as Myrcella Avenenuex and those that respected her- they would fall at the feet of Errings Rising. Laughing in exhilaration as she would chug the rest of what was inside of her flask, it was apparent that there was nothing else that could be done here; twirling a strand of golden hair in-between her fingers, she would exit the disheveled building and drift down the street in the same way that she had come, materializing upon the horizon within the sights of the two maids that still sat within the presence of the red pandas. They both seemed to be asleep in the bundles of their thick dresses- tapping the party of four awake within the dark streets, the golden girl would chuckle as they would jump up from their slumber. ✺
✺ "Thank you for watching my babies~! ♡ I really have to be going back home now," the dragon slayer would exclaim in joy as her companions would hop back upon her shoulders, nuzzling her neck in happiness, "oh, I did kill your master though, but don't be upset! If you both wish to continue being maids, head to Mt. Hakobe's Settlements and I will handle the rest from there! Or be free, byebye~! ♡" Blasting off into the mountains upon the rocks that wavered under her feet before the two could say another word, the two would head back home to notify her guildmates about just how dead the leaders of Shirotsume and their advisors truly were! Though Cordelia would most likely stop somewhere to grab something to eat before making the long trip; strenuous activity, like killing people, was draining after all! Hopefully, the maids would consider making the trek as well up into the snowy mountains; they could become servants of the golden girl, and what better life would one wish for than having not one, but two maids! What a dream! ✺
