Grasping the edges of the chilly stone walls that resided within the depths of the Errings Rising castle in the form of a gentle graze of her fingertips, the second generation earth dragon slayer would let out a small yawn as she would descend down steep steps toward the main corridor of the fortress- it would seem as if there was a small stain from a drink of sorts on her oversized sweatshirt of golden color which spanned all the way down to the top of her thighs, but that was something only a sober individual could notice. Though she had not had much to drink since she had awoken about an hour ago other than a daiquiri, the feelings of being tipsy rushed through her veins; her stomach craved more of the liquor almost as much as it craved something to eat, but it would only be polite for her to wait to run into any of her fellow guildmates to open up her stash.  "Anastasia, can you go fetch me some food ♡? I'm soososoo hungry~" the golden girl would gently speak to one of the two maids that would walk behind her in flowy white dresses, adjusting the lustrous purse that would dangle upon her shoulder, "get a shit ton!!". The maid would run back up the stairs to get food that Cordelia had stored prior to her slumber the night before. It was mainly a few family-sized bags of Doritos, being the spicy nacho flavor; there were also a few cheese curds and some egg rolls, but they were mostly eaten by the red panda that ran at her feet. ✺

✺ The other maid that looked nearly identical to the one that proceeded to retrieve the sustenance followed behind their new master, holding one of the two red pandas within the folds of the draping sleeves that cascaded down from the top of her dress- they had become assistants to the golden girl and in her endeavors only days prior to this bright morning, having completed their travels to the settlements of Mt. Hakobe. Having been liberated in the execution of their previous Madame Myrcella Avenenuex within Cordelia's raid on governmental officials of Shirotsume within one of their bars, which has since crumbled into pieces of rubble and ruin, they had been given the choice of freedom or a better life under the control of the dark mage, in which they both took into their hearts. Just as beautiful of a decision as it was conflicting, they would proceed to seek out the one that killed their master that night to give their service in the castle that she would now consider a second home. ✺

✺ Nearing closer and closer to a dim-lit bulletin that hung on the side of the decadent stones that made up the royal walls, the violet optics of the slayer would light up as she would see a piece of paper that would describe yet another terrible quest that would occur in the city that she had visited recently- the crashing of a wedding within Shirotsume before they can tie the knot with lethal force, which just so happened to begin in a few hours. "Oh, look at this~!" she would exclaim in a high pitch, echoing her verbiage through the quiet halls of the castle, "I'm making Shirotsume my bitch, you guys see this! We gotta tear up this wedding, those jewels are a lot of spicy chicken sandwiches from the sandwich shop~! ♡ God, I bet they haven't even got my boulders out of the bar yet, haha!" Looking toward her surroundings the alcoholic would not witness much other than her maid walking toward her with the bundle of snacks tucked neatly within a large, wooden basket; the traveling cart that held all of her precious alcohols sat in its keychain on her purse's side, wavering at the world. As the town of the wealthy was not far from the chilled fortress of coming snowstorms on rock-board, it would most likely be a bit before she was to go tear up this procession of love; taking a seat on the floor near the job-board as she would read more on what resided within the details of the quest as she would tear into one of the bags of chips, she would read the information over and over again in a faint whisper, chewing away. ✺

There had been a fair amount of good news lately and as Medeia and her loyal maid made their way through the long corridors of the castle, a noticeable smile could be seen across the angel’s face. Most of her time since defeating the dragon and stealing its precious loot had been spent experimenting on the ore that she had recovered. An enthralling task and one that had aided the witch greatly with her research, not to mention giving her a new source of materials to create new devices and curses with. Of course, Armina had been the test subject for such experiments as always but the purple haired woman never complained, knowing full well that Medeia would never put her in any true danger. In fact, the dirty minded maid had thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

“So, when will you be ready to try out the new bindings?” Armina perked up, chuckling as the pair walked. She was dressed in her usual maid outfit although how much work she actually did was questionable. A maid in name only.

“I would have thought that after the last time you would want a little time to recover, my dear.” The raven haired angel replied. “That obsidian did a superb job of robbing you of your strength. I do not remember seeing you weary before and that is saying something.”

“You know full well that it was not the obsidian that was tiring me out.” The maid laughed, her crimson gaze turning to meet Medeia’s. “Still, it was very restrictive and I cannot wait to see what else you will be able to use it for.”

“You will not have to wait too long. I have almost finished with my latest project, one that I am sure you will love. For now, try and keep your mind out of the gutter for five minutes.” The ace answered, before adding. “Not that there is much of a chance of that. I have been hearing rumours of your telling the other maids of our habits and I must say that you have made quite an impression.”

“They were hanging on my every word. I can assure you of that.” The axe wielder quipped.

“It was not just words though, was it? You decided to give a demonstration too.” Medeia cackled in response.

The two did occasionally catch a glimpse of those they walked past, some who seemed rather embarrassed by what they were hearing, not that the two holy beings cared. In all honesty, they both quite enjoyed making others feel uncomfortable, even when it was done without any malice. If the fodder of the guild did not like it, then they could take a tumble off of the mountain or something. Medeia only had time for those who caught her interest, everyone else was little more than a cockroach, lucky to not be squashed.

As they entered the guild hall and towards the job board, a loud and high pitched screech would reach the angel’s enhanced hearing. At first, she thought it might have been someone in pain but after a few moments or so, a familiar figure came into view, sitting on the steps beside the board. A figure that Medeia herself had only recently accepted into the guild  Both angels smiled as they approached the bubbly second gen slayer, curious as to what had managed to capture the alcoholic’s attention so strongly.

“Hello Goldie.” Medeia uttered, admiring the purple eyed girl. “Making yourself at home?”

“What was all the screaming about?” Armina jokingly asked. “Have you run out of booze or something?
