    Primary Magic: Soul of Belial
    Caster or Holder: Caster
Description: A devil's soul is his greatest weapon and utilizing it is how they fight. Hiro is no exception. Igniting his soul and using the scorching flames is how he fights. The flames have an incredible destructive power and are pale blue in color making them hotter than usual flames. Spells are categorized into two categories: Regular spells, and black techs:

    • Regular spells: Just as they say, their regular spells using the fire element.

    • Black Techs: Incredibly powerful techniques utilizing an unfathomable amount of destructive power. Black techs tap directly into Hiro's devil blood and mixes that dark power(darkness magic) with his burning soul creating a dual colored black and blue flame that is more powerful than regular spells in that it better resists it's primary holy/light weakness. Black techs

These techs directly influence Hiro more than releasing the seals in becoming a full fledged devil and using them to much or improper usage will cause Hiro to become a full-fledged devil.

Black techs are spells that can't be lower than A-rank and incorporate the darkness element, requiring 1.5x more magic than regular spells of the same rank.

    Strengths:
-Unlike regular fire, Hiro's flames can't be put out with regular water. This disregard of the typical water weakness is replaced by an extreme weakness towards holy magic which also does increased physical damage(read weaknesses).

-Black techs can better resist light/holy magic which will only do 1.5x more damage/power when connecting with a black tech.

-Hiro can learn his  magic far more efficiently than others because of his devil blood. Why? Because it is innate and has been like a part of his body since his birth. It's not learning to Hiro but developing so studying his magic is unnecessary it will become more proficient through use and simple training. The soul of Belial's flames are just like an extension of his body rather than something he needs to study and learn.

-Hiro's flames can't be digested by dragon slayers due to it's fuel source being Hiro's own soul, making the flames unnatural and abnormal.

    Weaknesses:
-Holy Magic, holy water, or any holy relic is a severely power against Hiro's magic and even Hiro himself. Contact with any holy object or magic can cause his skin to burn just like a regular human would burn if he's on fire. Damage against against holy magic spells is increased 2x.

-Devils don't learn magic, they're born with it. Despite Hiro being a half-breed he follows that same rule. Despite having a passive ability towards his magic it extremely limits him when learning other types of magic. Therefore learning a second magic is extremely difficult and will always carry strong similarities towards Soul of Belial.

Not only are his options limited to things involving demons, fire, or darkness, he is 100% incapable of learning a second magic until he is at least B-rank.

-Hiro does not have access to his magic unless he triggers his devil form. If Hiro is outside his devil form he can't use his magic. Hiro is simply a human with pointy ears, teeth, and a tail when not in a devil form.

-While Hiro's vision is not impaired, per say, he easily suffers from glare more easily than humans do and is more easily 'blinded by light'. An example would be like using solar flare in dbz to escape. A move like that would be much more effective against Hiro, preventing him from attacking on his next post.

    Abilities/Powers:

-Devil form: Hiro releases his power and can now utilize his magic. A majority of Hiro's spells require him to use this. Hiro's body is cloaked in blue flame which will passively deal D-rank damage each time physical contact is made for a prolonged time. This means someone needs to grab him or vice versa or something akin to that and just punching or kicking him will not take damage. This damage does not increase with rank and stays the same perpetually. This form is required for Hiro to use his magic and uses a percentage of his magic via rank each turn:

    D-rank: 4%
    C-rank: 4%
B-rank: 3% (upon reaching B-rank, Hiro can use D-rank spells outside of his devil form)
A-rank: 3% (upon Reaching A-rank, Hiro can use C-rank spells outside of his devil form)
S-rank: 2% (upon reaching S-rank, Hiro can use B-rank spells outside of his devil form)
    SS-rank: 1%
    H-rank: 1%

-Devil Senses: Hiro has slightly heightened hearing and scent, but can also see souls. Hiro is also capable of eating souls although it's not something he makes a habit of doing. Hiro prefers souls that have been tainted black with sin if given an option as pure souls taste bitter and just plain awful. The souls of Rapists and Mass murders are Hiro's personal favorites. Demon and Devil souls also taste delicious to Hiro.

Hiro is incapable of devouring the soul of a living being. Any being must be dead and the soul must be independent from any particular being. Souls don't really serve any major purpose or strengthening ability however the threat of not only killing a person but eating their soul and eternally erasing their existence is much more terrifying. Souls can typically be found wandering the world for whatever reason assuming they aren't inside a living however they are rare, only including the souls that have been unable to pass on and souls that have escaped from hell.

demon language: Hiro can communicate with demons who do not speak human language(such as hellhounds(demon dogs) or cait sith(cat like demons). This does not apply to demons which can't communicate by any means or are to stupid/unintelligent to understand or comprehend conversation.

-Night Vision: Hiro can see in the dark incredibly well.

You did good PMing me for your review and I apologize upon behalf of the staff for the lack of reviews.

You might noticed your app looks a little different. I just added a spoiler and removed the large spaces to make it more readable, so you don't need to do anything for that.

    General Description:
Strengths: I need one more strength. It can be almost anything, just don't make it seem too tacked on to fill up space.

Abilities: Remove night vision, because here in our RP world, our devils don't govern the moonlight and only dedicated darkness or light mages can see in the dark exceptionally well.

    Spells:
Overall, all spells must have viable strengths and weaknesses, with three points each for each spell. It does not have to be "hit this weak point for massive damage"  in the spell, just things like the Devil's Strike being only effective in direct close-combat and elemental weaknesses like magical water of equal rank dousing your fire. I'll let you deal with all of your spells with this issue. Furthermore, we have no non-cooldown spells, so your Devil's Strike cannot have no cooldown. You can expand it into a series of strikes or a punch powerful enough to break a barrier, but we don't have "simple" spells. Furthermore, all D-rank spells should have a minimum of 3 posts cool-down.

These issues are pretty big on their own, so I will leave it at that and let you fix them. Good luck.

    strengths: done

abilities: Left night vision although revised, although it's considered passive and automatic here it should still be in the list of abilities for formalities sake and some people may not count it.

    spells: fixed.

Black techs tap directly into Hiro's devil blood and mixes that dark power with his burning soul creating a dual colored black and blue flame. These techs directly influence Hiro more than releasing the seals in becoming a full fledged demon and using them to much or improper usage will cause Hiro to become a full-fledged devil. <-- Becoming a full-fledged demon is not a valid drawback in the sense that you do not explain how becoming a demon is even a bad thing. If you are to create techniques that are more powerful than they should be, you'd need a pretty severe drawback, more so than just stating that you become a demon without explaining how it's even bad.

    Strengths:
    -High destructive power.
-Higher level spells can mix in a second element through black techs.
-Unlike regular fire, Hiro's flames can't be put out with regular water. This disregard of the typical water weakness is replaced by an extreme weakness towards holy magic which also does increased physical damage. <-- How much more physical damage? Please clarify.

    Weaknesses:
-Holy Magic, holy water, or any holy relic is a severely power against Hiro's magic and even Hiro himself. Contact with any holy object or magic can cause his skin to burn just like a regular human would burn if he's on fire. <--- For how long will he burn? Can you give a damage value per post spent burning, like for example "1 D-ranked damage per post" ?
-Excessive usage without proper control can easily turn Hiro into a full fledged devil rather than being a half devil. <-- As stated before, this is too vague. Please elaborate.

Hiro's body is cloaked in blue flame which will passively deal D-rank damage each time physical contact is made for a prolonged time. This means someone needs to grab him or vice versa or something akin to that and just punching or kicking him will not take damage. <-- Please state that keeping this active drains 1 D-ranked spell's worth of magical energy every 2 posts. If you keep it active for just one post it won't drain anything. Also give this power a cool-down. I'd suggest maybe 3 posts.

Demon and Devil souls also taste delicious to Heero. <-- So this means he can just walk up to someone and devour their soul? That's a tad ridiculous if you ask me. You should explain both what the benefit from eating a soul is and you should explain when he can do it. If we are to assume that things can't live without their souls, which is how things usually work, being able to randomly eat someone's soul whenever is too much.

-Night Vision: Hiro can see in the dark incredibly well.
    Devil's strike
    Rank: D
    Type: Fire
    Prerequisites: N/A
Description: Hiro coats his fist or foot in fire and punches or kicks the person. This attack can be used consecutively without rest because of it's blatant simplicity. It's a fire coated punch or kick.
Strengths: Can be used repetitively in one post for the cost of one spell.
Weaknesses: range is as far as Hiro can make physical contact.
Duration: Instant <-- State that the duration is 1 post and add a maximum number of punches/kicks you can do with this spell during that post. I'd say 3 is a decent count.
    Cooldown: 3 posts.

    Ignite
    Rank: D
Pre-requisites: Physical contact and devil form active
Description:Hiro grabs onto his opponent and coats them with blue flames. Objects can also be coated with flames to increase their damage. Deals first degree burns each turn the target is on fire.
Flamable objects ignited are destroyed after 5 turns (excluding PC's).
    Strengths: Continuing damage
Weaknesses: requires close quarters contact to work.
    duration: 3 posts
    Cooldown: 5 posts

    ~Unnamed fireball spell~
    Rank: D
    Pre-requisites: devil form active
Description: Heero Concentrates a small amount of flames into the palm of his hand and fires a pale blue fire ball. The fire ball has a small 3 inch stream behind it and deals 1st degree burns under normal circumstances. <-- This spell is far too vague. I want you to state its range, the width of the fireball and its flying speed.
    Strengths: range.
Weaknesses: low damage <-- Too vague, I want to know exactly how much damage it deals when compared to a normal D-ranked spell.
Duration: 1 post. <-- How does this have a duration? It's just a single use projectile.
    Cooldown: 3 posts

    Moonlight Healing
    Rank: D
    Type: Fire
    Pre-requisites: N/A
Description: Heero uses a weak flame to heat up a wound and force the blood to coagulate and seal the wound shut. This can be used without utilizing his devil form.
This spell can only stop bleeding and can't prevent infection to a wound nor does it get rid of the wound so larger wounds tend to reopen. Although it can deal with more Moderate wounds it does not get rid of the wound and this technique is not useful in combat. All it does is stop bleeding.
    Strengths: it stops bleeding?
    Weaknesses: It doesn't actually heal.
    Duration: Instant
Cooldown: 3 posts <--Reduce the cooldown to 1 post.
All remarks are stated in Blue. Please tend to them and bump the thread once ready.

    edits made.

early argument for fireball spell: 35 mph is not fast. I could throw a baseball that fast as a 12 year old. Assuming magic is meant to be stronger than a normal ability then having this at a minimum speed should be acceptable.

Additionally, "Black Techs" would essential have higher cooldowns and perhaps even cost more if they are really that "unfathomable" (which is kind of just saying that you are going to make really powered spells)

    Strengths:
    -High Destructive power

-Higher level spells can mix in a second element through black techs. <<< What element(s) are we talking about?

-Unlike regular fire, Hiro's flames can't be put out with regular water. This disregard of the typical water weakness is replaced by an extreme weakness towards holy magic which also does increased physical damage. <<< Teh mentioned specifying the increased physical damage. Does D Rank damage act as C Rank damage?

<<< My comment on your strengths: Your strengths are rather basic porperties that a lot of magics have. Most elements have high desctructive power, that doesn't mean it's a good idea to put as a strength. Strengths are more descriptions of exactly WHEN, WHERE and exactly HOW your magic is strong. I can only suggest adding elemental strengths.

    Weaknesses:
-Holy Magic, holy water, or any holy relic is a severely power against Hiro's magic and even Hiro himself. Contact with any holy object or magic can cause his skin to burn just like a regular human would burn if he's on fire. Damage against against holy magic spells is increased 2.5x. Doing 200% seems appropriate enough for me. Meaning double damage. You can lower it to that imo.

-Excessive usage without proper control can easily turn Hiro into a full fledged devil rather than being a half devil, In which case his carnal instincts as a devil are fully realized and insuppressible. Most likely Hiro will become a rampaging monster and lose his ability to be sentient making him nothing more than a mindless monster that destroys everything in sight. <<< Specify "excessive usage". It's an iffy weakness because it seems all to convenient for you. As of now it seems as if you want the ability to turn into a devil when you think it fits, or just never turn into a devil if the situation doesn't call for it. Passing that off as a weakness is also rather fragile... I see this rather as an ability and not a weakness. Unless you can explain what exactly makes you weak and susceptible to certain ways of fighting, I want you to put this into abilities.

<<< This weakness is already somewhat closer to being a regular weakness, but it still isn't making you weak enough. I like the concept though. But what exactly does "more difficult" mean?

<<< You need a fourth weakness as well. Including me advising you to change your second one, you need to also come up with a fourth.

My idea: Hiro must activate and stay in his demon state to utilize his real magic. As a human he does not have any above average magical abilities (hence, you having to activate Devil's Form. That would be your biggest drawback and I can see that being the major attack point of this magic.)

<<< Add that this uses 3% of your magic power every post and that you can't use magic when not in this state. If you want the passive flame damage to grow with you in ranks, then I must remind you that the drain on your magic power will be comparatively high.

<<< Where exactly do you find these souls? Do they just float around everywhere and you can go through a city and just swoop them up like spaghetti?

Hiro is incapable of devouring the soul of a living being. Any being must be dead and the soul must be independent from any particular being. Souls don't really serve any major purpose or strengthening ability however the threat of not only killing a person but eating their soul and eternally erasing their existence is much more terrifying.

-Night Vision: Hiro can see in the dark incredibly well.

I could see this magic being strong against Wood, Ice and either being hotter or having more force than regular flames (especially because of your grand weakness of needing to enter devil form). Also, this seems like a mixed flame. Dragon Slayers can't digest any forms of mixed fire :c A plus for you.

    Weaknesses:
-Holy Magic, holy water, or any holy relic is a severely power against Hiro's magic and even Hiro himself. Contact with any holy object or magic can cause his skin to burn just like a regular human would burn if he's on fire. Damage against against holy magic spells is increased 2x.

D-rank: 5% <<< You're generous giving yourself such a big weakness o.o You can lower it to 4% imo
    C-rank: 4%
B-rank: 3% (upon reaching B-rank, Hiro can use D-rank spells outside of his devil form)
    A-rank: 3%
S-rank: 2% (upon reaching S-rank, Hiro can use C-rank spells outside of his devil form) <<< You can make it so he can use up to B Rank spells out of devil form at S Rank
    SS-rank: 1%

Two comments. One at the very bottom on your last spell.

Hiro Villenn wrote:Primary Magic: Soul of Belial

-Hiro's flames can't be digested by slayers due to it's fuel source being Hiro's own soul, making the flames unnatural and abnormal. The exception to this rule is demon slayers. <<< We have a quirky set of rules regarding slayers =w= Essentially, God Slayers are the ones with the darkness infused magic. Additionally, while Fire Dragon Slayers couldn't eat your flames and Fire God Slayers could eat them just fine, it would be simply harder to digest for Demon Slayers because they are similiar to the flames of a god slayer. But as you're not a God Slayer, I can't allow your flames to have complete immunity against the eating of a Fire Demon Slayer :c
