Primary Magic: Tsuchi no Metsuaku Maho

Description: Tsuchi no Metsuaku Maho is a Slayer type magic that is tailored to the slaying of demons, using the element of Earth. As is the case with Slayer magics, the user also boasts of enhanced physical abilities and senses. Being a demon slayer type of magic, the earth produced or utilized always has a 'holy' aura to it, demonstrated by a soft white glow. The most common form of this magic manifests as a sturdy crystalline form, although other forms of earth such as mud, sand and dust can be easily generated.
There is something dramatically different about the Earth Demon Slayer magic, when compared with other earth magics. Instead of relying directly on the earth to produce their spells, mages utilizing this magic can use their magic to create a strange energy that instantly solidifies into the crystalline form of their magic, which can then be used as any mage would use Earth based magic. This energy, being basically earth in nature, can merge with already existing structures made of earth, allowing the user to modify them as they see fit. The user of the Tsuchi no Metsuaku Maho tends to be a balanced sort, able to take advantage of the strength of the earth to produce hard, stable structures, which can serve as protective devices, or supportive items such as weapons. They can manipulate the earth beneath their foes to turn to quicksand, conjure up razor sharp crystals, reduce visibility via dust storms, immediately pulverize large rocks to dust, and even create semi-sentient constructs, or "golems" that may assist the user in battle. They can manipulate earthquakes to break up the ground or damage whatever is buried beneath, or even cause dust particles to vibrate intensely and cause "earthquake" damage to enemies above ground, and are capable of hiding and moving about in the ground (and other structures made mostly from the earth) freely. Users are also able to sense vibrations in the earth, and the position of earth materials around them. The earth is the basic source of life, from which plants grow and in which the dead are buried. Users of this magic have studied these attributes to creating restorative and binding/sealing techniques (basically buffs and debuffs) as a result.
Merits
- This is a very versatile magic, capable of offering offense, defense and support.
- Earth is not difficult to come by, granting the user an easy source of replenishment.
Demerits
- Demon Slayers are unable to eat Earth God Slayer magic.

Magic Consumption: Slayers can consume their own element(s) and this allows them to recover magic power. If a spell has 20MP within it and they eat it, the slayer gains 20MP, etc. If the magic is any higher than they are they consume MP equal to a quarter of a spell of their own rank, but they take full damage from the spell. Resistances do not affect this damage taken in any way.
Naturally Occurring Elements: Naturally occurring sources of the element can only restore MP equal to a quarter spell of the users rank per post when eaten, no matter how much of it you eat.
Additional notes: Slayers cannot consume their own spells whether this is from their magic, a weapon, a summons/Take Over's spell. Slayers can’t eat their pet’s spells, or their pets if they are made of an elemental magic.
- Unique Abilities:
- Chigyo (Earth Fish): This ability allows Cara to "absorb" herself into any material made of earth, and pass through it at her current moving speed. She can travel through such earthen matter, irrespective of its size compared to hers (for example, she can phase into a rock pole that is just ten inches thick, and resurface at its other end which is ten meters away). She is aware of things going on around her, as though she were not buried in the earth (sight, hearing and smell are unaffected). This implies that she can pass into brick, cement and concrete walls (as they are all made of earth). However, other materials used for making walls such as wood, iron, plastic, etc, will prohibit her entry completely. This technique is useful for concealment and other espionage tactics. Earth structures made via magic means will offer resistance though, and Cara will move at half her speed in earth structures a rank above her level. She will be unable to absorb herself into earth structures that are two ranks higher than her current rank. Constructs and spells of earth cast by player characters must have permission obtained before Cara can absorb herself into them.

Description: A wall of glowing crystal grows up out of the ground, or forms in the air in front of Cara before slamming into the earth. It may have various artworks etched into its surface, based on Cara’s humor, but nothing too intricate.

Description: The earth suddenly loses its rigidity around Cara, who is unaffected by it. A pool of quicksand is rapidly formed, and anyone caught in it will slowly sink into it. The quicksand tries to pull those trapped within it and bury them beneath its surface. After one post, however, the victims are usually able to find their footing and come back out.

Description: From a single point, a writhing mass of crystalline chains bursts out of the ground and the chains aim to wrap themselves around the limbs of Cara’s adversaries. Once the chains have fully incapacitated a target, the target remains bound for a post, but will be released in the next post. If the duration of the spell is not expended, the chains seek out the next mobile target. This differentiates friends from foes, and only enemies are targeted.

Description: A plethora of wicked spikes burst out from beneath Cara and impale anyone foolish enough to linger there. They rise up at angles, and can grow to a height of 10 meters. As a result, Cara can use the spikes defensively, by using them as cover.

Description: Cara inhales deeply, then forcefully exhales a powerful burst of energy, which instantly transforms to dust vibrating at hypersonic speeds. This causes the target caught within to be engulfed by a concussive explosion that deals earth damage. Targets are usually thrown forcefully away by the blast.
