Let's get Ready to Rumble (Chelvaric and Naraku) [B rank Mission]

Fluffy watched Chelvaric as he attempted to take down these mages. He wasn't doing as well as he had been doing in the beginning. The smell of fatigue stained his body. Yes, Chelvaric was tiring. That had to be the reason. He was not yet doing badly enough for Fluffy to want to step in. Yes, he would wait to see if Chelvaric could handle it. He'd only step in if he saw Chelvaric about to die.

Naraku meanwhile had recovered enough energy to do exactly what she planned. Strength flowed through her body once moree as she activated her demonic strength. She tossed the head up into the air and then front flipped kicking it with the back of her foot straight at the blind mage. "Head's Up." she roared out with delight. The mage was blind and did not managed to block the object hurtling at him so it hit him in the face. The force of the blow was so great it caused the two heads to explode in a spray of blood, brain and bone. It was such a delicious way to kill the mage. This also succeeded in stopping him launching any attacks at her. It was perfect attack and suited her so much.

The other mage focused and summoned up a beast made of wind to attack her with a powerful flurry of four blows. Two of them struck her pushing her back, but it seemd in his haste to destroy her the mage had not strengthed his beast enough and she blasted straight through it with a powerful clawed palm strike. The mage erected a barrier of wind to try and stop Naraku, but her attacks were too powerful. The first two blows shattered the barrier, causing him damage in the process and the next blow winded him. She had winded the wind mage, which caused her to chuckle. That brief pause allowed him to erect another barrier, but it was not strong enough and her fist struck killing him. All five mages had fallen.

With the exception of the ones she could smell near Chelvaric's location it seemed that the remaining rioters had been subdued by the rumours of two powerful mages and a giant wolf killing off the leaders. She stared at the bodies for a moment. Not much she could do about them. She would eat an eye or something to gross out opponents and she'd drink blood, but she was not a complete cannibal.

She rose into the air and flew to a rooftop near Chelvaric's location. Around him lay three bodies, two more mages remained. Fluffy had not yet stepped in, which she was glad of. Chelvaric was doing quite well by himself. He had definitely improved. He still relied too much on his pet and his spear for her liking, but oh well. It was not up to her to improve him. Merely encourage him to improve himself.

As she planned not to intervene herself she allowed the claws to fade and deactivated her hell demon's strength earlier than she normally would of. There was no need for it now. No, now all she would do is watch and with a movement of her hand she grabbed some shadows and began to eat them like popcorn. "Dinner and a show. I am lucky."

Sheria jumped between the mages and jumped back a bit to have room for her spell. She flanged her sword around again and pierced it in the ground. The shadow pierced toward the mages and one of them got caught in the shadow. The other mage quickly crawled away from it as he was afraid of it. “you wont get me!”, the mage shouted as he started to get his body covered in water. The spears jumped out of the shadow and most were blocked by the water. One was about to hit but it flew pass it. two of them however hit the mage through the legs. He was screaming it out of pain as he was immobilized. The other mage made some wind attacks and attacked chelvaric. He was wounded and hadn’t the time to block and two of them hit him. Tough the damage was minimal as it was air that hit him. “youle need more then a little bit of wind to take me out”, chelvaric shouted to the mages. He was feeling exhausted and had to grab to his last resort to take these two out. “my heart is like a warior unstoppable.”, chelvaric shouted and he felt the energy coming back the fear to be defeated was gone he gained a big smile on his face. “now youre dead has arrived.”, he shouted and he slashed his tai lto te enemy for the last time. it was blocked and the tail disappeared from his body.

Chelvaric put his sword away as he wanted to fight bare fist for this last one. He ran on a speed higher then he was just walking and appeared in front of the mage who was hurt. His left arm hurt but with this new power he dind’t mind. He grabbed both arms of the mage and putted his foot on the mage chest. Eh pulled at the arms and pushed the mage away at the same time. the mage was screaming it out as the flesh on his shoulders started to rip open. He pulled them off and the body got thrown away by the force of the release right in the wall. That mage was dead. Miu in the meantime was fighting the other mage and landed a hit on his leg.

Naraku and Fluffy had both risen to their feet as the exhaustion of the battles finally seemed to have affected Chelvaric enough to bring him down. However, a smile came to both of their faces as he used a power they had never seen him use. A power that seemed to magically erase his fatigue and increase his confidence. A useful technique and he had used it at just the right time, when not using it would of ended him. It seemed that between him and his pet he would be able to win this fight.

What impressed them further was that he decided to go at the final mages unarmed. He was going to use his body as his final weapon, like all demon slayers should. With it he managed to take down one of the mages and his pet was doing very well against the other. There was little the two had to do and so they relaxed and watched Chelvaric. "Fluffy if he fails to bring them down in his next barrage of attacks end it." Naraku commented. The storage demon nodded. He understood her words. If he couldn't defeat this mage with the aid of his pet and without any fatigue on his body then he was not worthy of taking this life. He would of disappointed Naraku. Naraku watched the battle with interest for now, but her interest was fading. Chelvaric needed to do something more interesting than just fighting in order to keep her interest peaked.

"Show them fear. Show them pain, but most importantly show them the Wrath of the Lost Demons." she said loudly. Loud enough for him to hear. Her comment to Fluffy had also been loud enough, but this one was meant expressively for Chelvaric. "Do not disappoint me." These were words he should heed wisely if he wanted to remain in allegiance with her. D'Nalsta had temporarily cast her away when she had disappointed him and so she would do the same for Chelvaric. This was his last and only chance.

Chelvaric was still flourishing with the energy he had and he was ready to strike the mage. He still had the arms of the mage in his hands and he slowly walked to the mage. “well you still want to fight mage as far as I know you’re the last one here. And I killed all of your friends. It’s not like you can stop me with that wind of yours.”, chelvaric said as he was making moves with the two arms he was holding. He used the left arm to scratch his chin while he was waiting for an answer. “I-i-I am not afraid of you monster.” the mage said as he was walking back wards slowly and fear started to take over his face. Chelvaric dropped the arms and jumped on his hands and legs like a cat. “like a cat hunts a mouse I’ll hunt you little man.”, chelvaric said and the mage started to run.

Chelvaric started to run behind him and jumped from wall to wall. The mage shot of some spels to him. The frist one chelvaric just ate and he jumped to the mage. The mage blocked it and ran further. “don’t kill me I ill do anything you want.”, the mage shouted as he stumbled around. Chelvaric jumped to the wall nect to the mage and then leaped to him again. he bit In the mage his arm while flying past and ripped it off. “aarrg”, the mage shouted and ran further. After a little bit of time chelvaric jumped again. the mage hit him with a spell but chelvaric wasn’t stopping and he bit the other arm off. The mage was still running away. As he left a trail of water due to wetting himself. Chelvaric made his scimitar and blasted a slice off. It sliced both of his legs off and he was laying helpless down. tough trough some concidense he had made a wind barrier. That blocked the right scimitar and the two claws before it broke. “well mage that was youre end I think.”, chelvaric said as he picked him up. Now feel the pain of being thorn in pieces. As he threw the man to miu. She catches the man on her spear and then jumped on him and started to eat it. well miu always said she wanted to eat everything in this world. The man died a slowly dead felling to her teeth. “I hope I have done a good job mistress”, chelvaric said o the darkness.

She watched with interest, particularly at him using the arm's of one of the other mages to perform gestures like a chin scratch. Very entertaining to her mind. He had gone all out to try and impress her, which in a way was his mistake. The only person he should truly be trying to impress was himself. Of course, she wasn't one to talk as she seeked to impress D'Nalsta the man to give her the first kiss of her life. Still, he had had impressed her. His style had changed since working with her and he had become a lot stronger, as had she. However, neither of them was ready to defeat their ultimate opponents yet, of that she was certain. She wondered if his style change was meant to mimic hers as it had become a lot more vicious and animalistic. However, his style seemed more like a wild cat whilst hers was that of a psychopath. Still, there were some similarties there that was for certain. A wild cat was vicious after all. Eventually, she might upgrade her thoughts on him to a demon cat, but he hadn't reached that level yet. Fluffy showed more viciousness, but then again he was a demon.

"Well enough." she commented leaping down from the rooftops. That was her comment. It hadn't made her think of him as a great warrior on par with her, but it had impressed her enough that she would allow him to stand by her side. It was rather interesting. Both of them had fought five mages for their last battle, which was coincidence in itself, but she had killed her opponents faster. That proved her strength or perhaps just her skill. Then again it could just be her magic was more suited to killing groups. It was not an obvious answer. There were far too many variables.

"Let's go collect our reward." she said and with that the companions strode off to go and find the contractor so they could get their reward. It had been a long day and both of them needed their rest. Of course, without a guild they had to take what they could get, but that did not matter too much to her. She had been raised in Hell. A night sleeping rough on the streets was luxury in itself compared to that, though she did miss her giant skull.

Whew, a very long read and I like your consistency throughout this very long fight. It's probably been an exhausting battle, you guys deserve your approval.
