Let's get Ready to Rumble (Chelvaric and Naraku) [B rank Mission]

chelvaric looked at the huge attack from naraku. It would have whipped them all out if those merchant’s weren’t so lucky. Chelvaric watched as the reequip mage got a rocket launcher out and shot a rocket to naraku. The rocket flew right over chelvaric’s head and he heard an explosion behind him. He attacked the musketeer again with his tail as he fell on his hand and feet. The tail whipped to the mage but he just hit over him. “you surely aren’t the greatest aimer with that animal tail of yours.”, michel said. And he shot his gun a couple of times to chelvaric. He dodged the first attack. But the second one hit his shoulder. it didn’t too much damage. But it tempered his movement’s a bit. He jumped up and spined around to land on his feet. In the meantime he pulled out a gun.

He aimed for the hearts of the merchants and shot his gun to them. Some of the bullets rioted of the armor and they were pushed back a bit. He killed one of them with a clean shot In the neck. His partnered backed off when he got drenched in blood. And so chelvarics shot missed. His disgust from blood had saved his life. Oh the irony. “what are you doing no hero backs off attack him!”, Michel shouted to the merchants. They attacked chelvaric and he had ot dodge the attacks again. they were like a swarm of flies. Irritating but no real treat. A broom hit his head but it broke to. The attack from the shovel would have hit him but it missed right over his head. “leave my boss alone!”, miu shouted and jumped in. she pierced trough the neck of one of the merchants. They all turned as one man and looked at her. she based her shield in the crotch of one of the merchants who tried to attack her. he felt on the ground bleeding to dead. Her next attack was blocked by a trashcan shield. It seemed the trashcan’s were pretty decent made in this town. She made a clean kill on the next target as she hit him through the hearth. She tried to bash her shield again but she bashed on a broom.

With the merchants successfully routed to some degree there was enough of an opening for Naraku to exploit. She decided that this time she would sacrifice some speed in order to him a lot harder. "Hell Demon's Strength." her muscles bulged slightly as they filled with dark energy. It was a 40% strength increase in exchange for 20% speed. It was a risky strategy, but one she felt worthy. Besides, her aerial movements were not dictated by her bodies actual speed so with that she flew at him. Not touching the ground at all. Seeing her come at him he tried to drive her off with a rapid burst of pistol fire, six shots in all. Of these six only one of them was successful in doing any damage to her, and she managed to get in close.

"Die wench." the man shouted changing his weapon to a shotgun and using that to block all, but one of her attacks, which busted his lip a bit. As she went to leap back to fly in once more he launched another attack, with his shot gun, straight at her. Naraku quickly pulled out her scythe and spun it once blocking the assault, but it was a close run thing. The force of the blow still hurt her and sent her sliding backwards a bit, but it wasn't crippling like it would of been if she'd taken that head on. "You're a requip user as well?" the man questioned seeing how she had produced the scythe as if from nothing. She shook her head causing the man to look confused. Naraku would not explain herself to a dead man. She slid the scythe beneath the cloak and it vanished again. She did not plan to rely on her weapons today.

Fluffy having seen how Naraku was ignoring the trash around her lunged in and with two sweeps of his claws cleaved two of the merchants in two. He did launch five strikes, including one bite, but the merchant's armor was tougher than he had expected. In retaliation the remaining man struck at Fluffy with his broom striking him on the nose, but that did nothing really except piss Fluffy off.

chelvaric saw how naraku fianly landed the first hits on the musketeer Michel. This would mean the fight was about to turn around. The flies were nearly down and they got a lot of their spells still to kill him. Chelvaric looked around as fluffy came as a demon and ripped most merchant’s in bits. Chelvaric started to let the air flow around his arms. it started to build up around his hand’s till it was formed into 2 claws. Chelvaric started to run towards Michel. This was a big spell so he could take him out in a quick fashion. He jumped over the last merchant and started to attack him with his claws. The first he catches on his pistol. Chelvaric had broken the pistol but he switched guns again. by this action chelvaric missed his attack and was wide open for a shotgun attack. “now I got you demon.”, Michel said as he pulled the trigger. Chelvaric was wide open and got hit in his stomach. He felt his ribs being pierced.

He flew back a couple of yards against the wall and felt on the ground. Michel shot another two times but it went over his head right into the wall as chelvaric fell on the ground. He coughed a bit of blood up. Chelvaric pushed himself up as his ribs felt painful. If he hadn’t wear any armor it would have broken his ribs. Now they were just very bruised. He had lost his breath a bit and was trying to get it back. Michel was reloading his shotgun. Chelvaric was lucky he couldn’t attack again. he got his weapon from the ground and ran toward Michel. He shut out the pain like he did when he meditated In the past. Chelvaric jumped to him with his spear and tried to slash him. But Michel had just stepped aside and chelvaric missed. He tried to attack with his spear again but the bruise made him less accurate and Michel had caught the attacks fairly easy.

Miu had jumped in and attacked the last merchant she tried to knock him out with her shield. But the guy was covered in cusses and didn’t receive any damage of it. she then did something strange. She hugged the target. “wha- wha- hey girl we better hire a room for this”, the merchant bavvled said. But then she pierced her neko teeth in his neck and ripped it open. Blood splattered out and he felt dead with a frightend expression on his face.

Chelvaric had taken a powerful blow to the stomach. If he wasn't a slayer he'd probably be out of the fight. He wouldn't be able to take much more. Not unless he healed himself. His attacks since the wound had shown that. "Fluffy, Chelvaric pull back. I'll deal with the this bozo." she ordered with a slight smile on her face. The image of Miu's hug kill was truly entertaining. Plus, now she would get this opponent all to herself. "Chel, go heal your wounds." The wolf nodded and ran. He knew why she'd ordered this. Fluffy was a massive target and Chelvaric had been hit hard. There merchant however seemed to laugh.

"You think you're the hero girl?" the merchant leader said and Naraku shook her head.

"No i'm no hero, but whoever said the hero had to win?" with that she lunged forward dark energy coating her hands once more. The man would fire off six shots from his revolver again. IT was almost a repeat of their last set of attacks, but this time Naraku was going to hit even harder. A shot of his clipped her shoulder causing her some pain, but she charged in. It seemed she was not to be lucky with this barrage as he managed to use his shotgun, which appeared once more, to block her assault. She spun round just in time to leap back as the shotgun hit her full on the back. However, her robe was enough to withstand it, just.

The reason she had turned was to distract him from her second attack. As she leapt she launched off stabber and it flew at him. He was highly skilled though and managed to block most of the strikes. However, one of them hit him and now he had a blade buried in him. He'd have to yank it out, but that would just increase the damage. She kept it inside him for now. It was a link between them. "You can't run and neither can I. Let's play Mr.hero." she said darkly as she turned to face him. She walked towards him slowly her hands by her sides forming claw shapes and pulsing with dark energy. She wanted to end this man.

chelvaric ran back as he was ordered to. He didn’t think it was to much of a wound. Yeah it hurt it like bad. But he could still fight. Tough he respected her order’s so he walked back with fluffy. He looked from afar what she was doing. It looked like she was going on full power and it wasn’t an easy fight. Chelvaric opened his mouth and started to suck in air. His cheeks started to swallow up more and more. Till they looked like they were gone explode. He swallowed the air and his body started to heal. It takes a lot of energy to heal him. But he was lucky. As in the last fight he got to eat a lot of spells. He felt great again. and looked as miu started her attack on the big guy.

Miu jumped up behind the guy an tried to hit him from behind but he was to quick and blocked it with his weapon. She fell down on the ground and then tried to hit him again but he jumped back and she missed. She threw her shield at hime and jumped at the same time to surprise him. But he was to quick and blocked the shield. She missed her spear as she was surprised he had missed. Michel aimed his hun at her chest as she was just a inch away from it and shot. But miu had grabbed the gun and jumped over it. the bullets flew in to nothing. She spinned around and jumped behind him. He turned and shot 2 times again. she summond her shield again and blocked the both shot’s. chelvaric was rested again in the meantime and slashed for the last time his tail. The wind cut flew right toward migel. But he just caught it in his hand like it was nothing. Chelvaric gathered air again in to his hand a bullet formed again of 15 inches. He shot the bullet. “sky demon bullet”. The bullet flew right at Michel. He just blocked it with his gun and started laupghing. “wounded demons should just lay down and die.”, Michel said. “the heero always prevails.”

"The hero always prevails? Didn't I just tell you that wasn't the case." Naraku said tugging the cable that was attached to him slightly causing him to wince. "I'm afraid if you don't listen you will have to be punished. Shocky." A wave of dark energy pulsed down the blade and if he did not pull it out of him he would be hit. However, this would also cause him damage. He had to choose which to pick. However, he would have to think fast because Naraku was coming straight at him with her claws ready to slice him to pieces. She aimed to end it with this set of attacks.

The man was foolish enough to take the shock, thinking that the shock was meant to force him to remove the blade. No, he had made the wrong mistake and his screams rent the air as his body began to shake uncontrollably and his entire body went numb. Naraku used this moment to charge in and aim to strike, but he also managed to, much to her amazement, launch off a shot with his shot gun that struck her in the stomach. It was quite close range and she knew she was heavily wounded, but that pushed her over the edge. "Fall to the Glory of the Slayer" she roared and her muscles expanded slightly more, her claws became sharper and she just became a whole lot more badass.

As her claws struck him they seemed to grow more powerful with each drop of blood spilled. Of the four strikes she launched in her fury only two were successful in hitting, one missed entirely and the other he blocked with his shotgun damaging it. Not enough to break it, but enough to damage it. Her strikes were lethal. Of course, she was in intense pain and bleeding quite heavily from the damage, but still she was lethal. "What are you?" the man said trying to back away. The blade had been removed after the shock so he could now back away. He hadn't felt the blows due to the numbing of his body, but he saw the damage.

"I'm your worst nightmare."

chelvaric looked at naraku as she unleashed in a frenzy. She gave it her all and really hit. As he was bleeding from many wounds in his body. Naraku had unleashed a power that really looked like a demon force. As her power had risen dramatically. Chelvaric could feel her magic power from the place he was standing. As he prepared himself again to charge in he was looking at her rampage. He started to run to target that now was wobbling on his legs and was scared as hell. He was so scared that the first shotgun shot was missing like a drunk person walking down the street In a straight line. The mage reequipped to his rocket launcher and started to aim. After a little bit he shot the missile toward him. Chelvaric ran toward it and on the last moment jumped over it. miu was behind him and attacked the reequip mage. She tried to strike him in the collar bone but he got lucky as it was blocked by his rocket launcher when he turned around. Miu then jumped to left and fell on her knees to strike him from below. But it got blocked by a metal plating on the pants. The next two hits were also blocked by the rocket launcher.

But this had given chelvaric the time to close in and finish the kill. “this is your dead hero. And its called chelvaric”, chelvaric shouted as he pierced trough the rocket launcher. He jumped around and stabbed the man trough his stomach. He pulled out his blade and stabbed it in the knee piercing him in the ground. He pulled out his gun and shot the man right through the eye finishing him off. It was a harsh fight and they both didn’t came out unscathed. Chelvaric walked to naraku. “stay still for a moment mistress I gona heal you.”, chelvaric said as he started to swallow the air in around him. Till his cheeks were stuffed again. he blew it out and it flowed to naraku. It was his biggest heal he got and it should lapp her up pretty good. After the heal he was pretty exhausted and started to eat as they were no enemies around.

As the man fell to the onslaught of attacks from Naraku her rage faded into nothing and all of her magical enhancements dwindled. Despite the healing from Chelvaric she was still injured a bit and the strain from her lineage caused her to cough up blood. "Looks like I can't be glorious again today." she said to herself with a chuckle. She looked at Chelvaric and nodded to him. "We've taken out the leader from the merchant's side...however, the wizards who lost the lacrima will still be on a rampage as will the merchants who don't know they have lost their leader." She walked over to a wall and sat down.

"You did well Chelvaric." she said and lifted up some shadow as if it was tangible before eating it. "We will rest up here for a little bit, eat and recover. Then we'll go wreck some angry mages." Naraku was a bloodthirsty psychopath, but she was no fool. She had left D'Nalsta's side to develop herself further. In terms of skill and intelligence she had definitely gone up, but she still wasn't strong enough. "That merchant took more out of us then he should of. We will need to improve." She whistled and Fluffy walked over. He had shrunk to his smaller form as he suspected Naraku would take a rest once these enemies were killed. He did not walk to her side, but to the merchant leader and began to devour him. "Leave the head Fluffy. We can use it to scare off the trash." The wolf nodded and Naraku just grinned. Fluffy would even eat bones. He was a demon and was the perfect way to clean up after a messy affair like this.

Resting was the wise thing to do. In the state the pair were in they were not ready to fight another strong opponent. Sure if all that was left was trash like those merchants they might survive well enough, but if they met another one was powerful as the requip user or stronger? They'd likely both die unless luck was on their side and recently it seemed it definitely wasn't. They always seemed to be facing odds they shouldn't. "We will become stronger Chel and then we'll come back to this town in the future and show them why we should be feared."

Chelvaric stopped eating for a moment and walked over to the place where naraku said against the wall. It seemed she coughed up blood. He had done his best to heal her. but it seemed it wasn’t good enough. He felt better now that his wounds didn’t felt so hurt anymore. He pulled up his shirt and saw that a big bruise was covering his belly. He touched it and it did felt some pain. Tough he could move around like the attack did not happen. Well not completely but it wasn’t painful enough to hinder him in any coming battle. He dropped down next to naraku as he was breathing heavenly. Even with the eating the two heals had tired him a lot. He wasn’t so strong yet that he could just go heal and fight further without trouble. He started to clean himself a bit. As miu dropped next to him to and she started to clean her leps abit as it was still covered in blood from the bite. “good move miu I never expeted that from you.”, chelvaric said to her. “well he attacked you and nobody attacks my boss!”, she said as she made a angry face. “haha its okay miu.”,chelvaric said. Yeah it is true its not because she’s a guardian angel that she won’t kill. He then looked at naraku as she wondered a bit that she couldn’t be glorious today. “without you I would never have defeated him.”, chelvaric said. He got a compliment from her but he didn’t really think he deserved one. Yeah he made the kill but she beat him up so hard. without her help it wouldn’t have worked out. he wasn’t strong enough yet. Fluffy then walked past them and started to eat on the corpse. Man that demon had a big hunger. Naraku then said they would come back as they were stronger to show there power. “then I swear on my pride and life I will serve you to death. So use my power like a weapon. Command and I will serve.”, chelvaric said as he got up and kneeled before naraku.

It seemed her partner had changed to become more like Fluffy, a servant to her whims. Of course, it was only to advance their own goals, but still it was a proof she was becoming stronger if people were now bowing before her. However, she wasn't yet strong enough. A requip mage with only three option should not have beaten her down this hard. She should not have activated the power of her bloodline. It was not the first time she had been forced to rely on it to survive. Reliance on any particular part of her was not good. She needed to be able to win using any single part of her at any time whether it be her bloodline, her magic or her physical strength. "We may not have won without eachothers' help, but that is the problem." Naraku said rising to her feet. She was not in peak physical condition, even after the healing from Chel and from eating, but she was strong enough to keep fighting. "If I rely on you or Fluffy or you on me for victory than we are not strong enough. Without me you would of failed, without you I would of failed. That opponent shouldn't of been so difficult."

"D'Nalsta would of killed him in a single shot. We must be his equal or as near as possible or neither of our goals will be accomplished" she walked over to the body of the merchant leader and lifted up what was left, his head. She took the hat the man had worn and placed it on her own head. "Chelvaric, I will stand in your shadow and remain hidden. Walk as if you own the place." Fluffy, his white fur stained with blood walked over and stood next to Chelvaric. It looked impressive. In terms of general appearence the less of the two Wrath's looked the fiercer. Naraku could of changed her appearence, but she did not want to waste it. She had an idea. "Find them and then we will end this."

Her plan was simple, but she would not reveal it yet. It might not work and she did not want to get Chelvaric's hopes up. It might cause him to slack off, which would not be good.

chelvaric nodded as he understood why they were both too weak if they couldn’t handle this alone. And he wouldn’t be able to kill his arch enemy the dark dog demon king. He should be at least as strong as his demon mistress. He taught as he stood up. Fluffy stood next to him. His fur was covered in blood and his look was one of wrath. Chelvaric felt great. They were maybe not to strong yet but at least he had found people he could feel comfortable with. Hmm this would be a good live road to follow even if he would have killed his demon enemy. Naraku explained the plan and took the head from fluffy. She hide in chelvaric’s shadow and it was now up to fluffy and him to make some chaos around.

Chelvaric and fluffy and miu were walking down the docks all gangster style. But at start they couldn’t find any people. It was like they all vanished from the scene. “strange I thought it was a protesting here.”, chelvaric said. He took a stone from the ground and bashed a window in. “hai stupid merchants come out I want my lacrima’s.”,chelvaric shouted so that he could lure an angry merchant mob. He then took another stone from the ground and walked around waiting to see something. It didn’t take too long before a group of merchants came from around the corner. “HAI THAT WAS MY HOUSE!”, one of the merchants shouted. “GET AWAY FROM HERE MAGE.”, another merchant screamed as he threw a stone to them. It missed very hard so chelvaric didn’t really minded it. it was not that these were much of a challenge. He just walked to them and started to shout a bit. “if you would give our lacrimas this wouldn’t happen. So now this place is mine. Non mage people should just run away.”, he teased the merchants. And then a door opened from behind the merchants. A man in a swimming shorts came out and looked around. Chelvaric could feel something different to this man. “hey you merchant’s my boys are waiting for their lacrimas already for days!”, the man in the swimming brook said. And looked annoyed at the merchants. “hey you there you were no mage of my team what are you saying youre lacrima.”, the mage shouted.

Damn. The mage's leader had appeared. She hadn't been expecting that and had hoped it wouldn't happen. Particularly for a mage as strong as this to be leading them. He was stronger than the requip mage which had taken the power boosts of her magic and her bloodline to beat combined with Chelvaric magic. It would take both of them to take him down, probably. However, for a moment she would see how Chelvaric handled this situation and stepped from his shadow and into one of the buildings. She was still nearly invisible. In truth, she wanted to see what Chelvaric was capable of fighting solo, but she also wanted to rest as long as possible to make sure she could fight at her optimu. As Naraku hadn't emerged to confront these opponents Fluffy too stepped back.

"Naraku wants you to show what you're made of kid." the wolf said as he did so. "If she has to save your hide she'll be pissed, but she'll step in when she feels it necessary. I'll join in when I can transform again" Naraku smiled at this. Fluffy knew exactly what she was intending. He was good like that. He always knew what she wanted. A very useful ally, but one she would have to not rely on as much. Yes, for her next mission she would leave Fluffy behind. She nodded to herself as she felt her dark energy flow back allowing the use of her claws. It would still be a short while before she was truly ready to begin battling, but...it would be soon enough. The wolf leapt onto the rooftops and waited. "I kinda want to see what he's capable of too." the wolf said to himself. He hadn't really seen the full application of Chelvaric's power in a solo fight yet. Naraku just grinned more broadly as she heard these words. Yes, they needed to know exactly what their new partner was capable of when he fought alone.

The two waited and watched eager to see Chelvaric when he fought alone. Of course, he had his summons, but it would still be interesting to see him fight. Not just to see his power, but to see how brutal and bloodthirsty he had become by working with them.

Chelvaric stepped toward them as the demon started to speak. You have to prove yourself and naraku won’t help you. Well that was the general thing. If he would Immoral usage of context. up she would Immoral usage of context. him up afterwards. Well better not to disappoint her then. He looked at the ten mercenaries and the one mage. He couldn’t take them all alone on so he would try to get some of the mercenaries on the mage. And miu on the other five. The mages and merchants were heated up so they don’t really see that the sailors were on the wrong and not the mages. “hey mage those mercenaries never gave you your lacrima’s wouldn’t you take revenge.”, chelvaric said to make them fight each other. “what no it was those freaking sailors who made this mess.”, the mage said. Immoral usage of context. they wouldn’t fall for it then he had to use some more drastic measures. Well the absolute topper for this fight was ernia with her spikes he could thin out the merchants and she would be good against the water. He pushed his spear in to the ground and it started to light up. The ground froze around and ernia jumped out. here hood was over her head again and she was ready to fight. “who is my target boss.”, ernia said and she slashed her sword to get the feel of it again. “take those merchants with miu I will take the big guy out.”, chelvaric said as he started on casting his own spell.

Ernia looked at the team of mercenaries as they were all covered in armor. Of diverse items. Ernia started to cover his sword in ice spikes and slashed it out. the ice spikes flew toward the mercenaries. Miu jumped towards them and started to stab. The armor’s were again harder then they looked and most of the spears were stuck in them. 3 of the mercenaries were killed by the spears. Miu had only taken out one of them and she jumped back. The mercenaries were to busy pulling out the spears so they didn’t attack yet. Chelvaric saw a couple of water attacks coming towards them. He bloked most of them and a lot of them missed chelvaric to but one hit him full on the leg. It felt strained but he wouldn’t be stopped by one attack.

Chelvaric had made air scimitars on his underarms again. “sky demon slasher.”, he called out and ran toward the mage. He hit the mage with a deep cut in his upper leg. The other one was blocked with a melee attack. Chelvaric pulled out his weapon and slashed a lot of hit towards the mage. He only hit him once but it was good tick on the shoulder.

Four merchants killed in a single combination of attacks. It seemed Chelvaric's summoning skills were quite versatile. He had also attempted, much to her surprise, to do the clever thing and get the opponents fighting eachother. Soon she would be able to go back at full strength and help him. Until then though she would see if a bit of intelligence would work. She walked out of the shadows holding up the head of the merchant leader.

"Hey sales people. I have the head of your boss Michael. If we could take him out don't you think we can take you down?" Naraku said standing to the side and showing the street as open. Then she indicated "You can see my buddy here is covered in blood. That's blood from twenty merchants we've had to kill to stop them wrecking the place." The mage's were beginning to look nervous, particularly after she chucked the head to them, she was still holding his hat. With the other hand she slipped a needle of shadow into her cleavage waiting for a response.

Two of the merchants stared at the head and bolted. The other four seemed angered and charged at her. She sighed and slipped the hat onto her head at a jaunty angle and then spoke the words. "Fools. I offered you a chance at life. Hell demon's Tendrils." It was not normally in her nature to offer people a chance to run, but considering the strength of the mage she did not want to have to waste time on these merchants.

As the four charged her a tendril of shadow erupted from her cleavage from which emerged nine others. The ten tendrils struck out at the approaching mages and successfully slammed three into the wall knocking them unconcious. The forth managed to fight his way through and a land a blow on her with a frying pan, but that was the least of her worries. Whilst she had been focusing on the merchants the mage had launched an attack at her. A geyser erupted beneath her sending her flying into the air where she was struck at by three blades. The tendrils were enough to defend her from one, but the other three cut into her deeply and she fell to the ground. It was minor damage, but it was enough to piss her off. She had thought Chelvaric had been keeping the mage busy. It seemed she was wrong.

chelvaric looked as naraku gave the mercenaries the change to run away. That was unlike her. but some of the mercenaries didn’t run and run towards naraku. But she shot out some spells from her euh breast area. And killed some of them but then she got hit hard by the mage. Dam didn’t he got the attention of that mage. “finish that last mercenary ernia.”, chelvaric shouted as he prepared to get blasted by the mage. While ernia jumped on the last merchant. She missed her first attacks as the last merchant fell over his own feet. She slashed to him another time but he blocked with his dye roller. It was slashed In to two pieces. She stood above the merchant while he was whimpering in fear. She spined her blade around for a bit and then pushed it down. the blade hit his neck and pierced him. The blood splattered over her fur but she didn’t really care.

On that time the water mage made 4 swords out of water and aimed it at chelvaric. Chelvaric sliced his swords. As the blades came to him. His slashes didn’t hit anything on the mage and just were blocked with water. Chelvaric stopped most of the blades but then got hit in his shoulder. It sliced his shoulder open and chelvaric felt pain searing trough his arm. Dam it was a weak hit but it hit a nerf good. A good amount of pain had mastered his arm for a couple of seconds and miu took the wizard from him. She jumped to him and tried to hit him with her spear. She missed a couple of hits and one got blocked. But she hit trough the watter and hit his neck. It scratches him a little and he was bleeding. Chelvaric jumped to him and tried to hit him but the water was realy irritating him. “god why do you use watter I hate water arg I wane so kill you!”, chelvaric said. Chelvaric tried to hit trough th water but it was pretty hard to not touch the water. He eventually got one hit on the mages leg.
