FIRST ANNUAL FAIRY TAIL KAHOOT GAME!! [Event Thread]

Leila had been resting up enjoying the sunshine as she usually did in the courtyard, she had actually grown fond of this place, it was so relaxing. However, her relaxation time was soon cut short as she heard the echoing of their Guild Master’s voice calling all members to join in some game or something. Leila wasn’t exactly sure what was going on, but it had certainly peaked her curiosity, she forced herself up, stretching as she did before strolling towards the main hall, this was surely going to be interesting.

Upon entry into the large hall, she had found it had changed drastically changed, taking her by surprise. She looked around trying to find a familiar face, but it was difficult with so many mages already in the hall, eventually she gave up before deciding to glance over the instructions on the closest screen to her, seemed simple enough, just needed to log in and create a username for now. The neko girl made her way over logging in by punching in the code 376524 where it then asked for her nickname. Leila sighed she was never very creative when it came to things like this, she didn’t want to make it obvious it was her, but she was having issues thinking of something the others wouldn’t guess. In the end she settled for 'Petit Chaton' as her mother had always fondly called her.

Leila glanced at Haru as he came to the screen next to hers, she didn’t say anything, but continued to wait for the members to gather, once they had Sorano began to speak. Leila’s ears twitched listening to every word the guild master said very carefully, so they would be able to use pretty much any means necessary to get the information as long as it was within fifteen minutes, fair enough. She glanced around at the competition, she only recognised a few people she had actually met, most of the faces she’d seen around but not properly spoken to yet. That was fine by her for now anyway.

Leila looked at her screen as the first question popped up ‘Who is Fairy Tail allied with, and who are Fairy Tail enemies of?’ she tilted her head, she had heard people talking around the guild base about the recent destruction of Black Rose’s base, their allies, so she knew that part, but she honestly had no clue as to who their enemy was. Maybe there was some information about it somewhere. She was going to ask Haru first, he might be able to help her, but he seemed to be busy with his own thoughts, almost as if something was really bothering him as he mumbled under his breath. Leila decided it was best to not interrupt him for now, she didn’t know how to deal with people like that. She thought about asking other members of the guild, but there was a chance they would purposely give her false information for their own benefit.

She decided to have a proper look at the answer choices, perhaps there was a  way to come to a conclusion by removing some of the choices. She looked over the four options, well it certainly wasn’t the red triangle or green square, they had Sabertooth as the ally instead of Black Rose, that left only two options. She scanned them both with her yellow eyes, their enemy had to be either ‘The Magical Council’ or ‘Basilisk Fang’ she thought about this carefully. It was true that many people in the guild disliked or held grudges against the magical council, but she was certain that they weren’t classified as enemies, as they still completed jobs for them from time to time. That left only one option, the Neko girl smirked to herself, certain she had found the correct solution as she selected the yellow circle as her answer, Black Rose and Basilisk Fang.

She crossed her arms  and nodded satisfactorily to herself, pleased she’d been able to at least deduct the solution to the first question by herself. She was still concerned about the coming questions however, as Sorano had specifically mentioned that this was an easy one and she had only known half of it. Well, that was to be expected, she was still new to Fairy Tail after all, she wouldn’t know everything, but she would definitely give it her best shot to win the prize. She gave Haru another look, hoping he was going to be alright, she wasn't very good at comforting people, but she would try to if necessary, in the meantime she prepared for the next question.

Fairy Tail has been enemies of Basilisk Fang since the current guild master Famine, formerly known as Rita Stebern of Fairy Tail, had betrayed the guild. On her way out, she left behind the false corpse of Rita Stebern and set fire to the guild hall. Members from the respective guilds have since clashed on multiple occasions.

Fairy Tail first formed alliances with Black Rose when Kanix was the guild master, looking towards the legal guild for help with getting the (at that time) dark guild back into favor with the Magic Council. Although the alliance had fallen since then, the current guild masters have rekindled it due to current mutual issues with the Magic Council.

Leila read over the question again carefully, her yellow eyes, scanning the screen in front of her, ‘What alignments have Fairy Tail been?’. She looked over all the possible answers, well she knew that Fairy Tail was currently independent, but that didn’t help as all the answers had that part. From glancing over everything for a second time, she noticed that it must have previously been a dark guild, as it was in three of the answers, this surprised her somewhat. She was still new to Fiore and while she had heard some terrible things about them, they were usually outweighed by positives. Leila grit her teeth to think some of these people might have been part of a dark guild, how could they? How could they do such terrible things to innocent victims? She would keep her mouth shut for now, but she personally despised those that chose to hurt others for their own amusement or greed.

Leila suddenly realised she was scowling, her ears flicked back and her tail twitching in anger, the Neko girl took a deep breath, calming herself. Now was not the time to pass judgement onto others, while some members may be rotten, she was sure a lot of them were perfectly nice people. Besides she’d joined this guild to find out about dark ones, considering they used to be one themselves that would make it all the easier to find the one responsible for the destruction of her home and the killing of innocent villagers. Her yellow orbs glanced over at Haru, she hoped he wouldn’t end up being one of those rotten people, she didn’t know what she’d do if she found out he was. Leila turned back to the task at hand, well she was fairly certain they had once been a legal guild as well, perhaps they’d had issues with the magical council and when they fought back had been deemed a dark guild? That was always a possibility, while the magic council were supposed to bring peace to the nation, she knew deep down all politics in this country was like any other, usually corrupt and out for their own gain and purpose.

Leila focused back to the screen and the questions asked before her. So far, she had deduced that Fairy Tail at had least at one point or another been Legal, Dark and finally Independent, but that still left a few options on the table. Had it been Independent before it current time now? If so was it before or after it was legal? The Neko could ask Haru for help, but she didn’t really think it would be fair to ask another competitor to give her the answer, instead she decided to go check out the archives within the guild, perhaps they’d have information on their previous work and alignments. She checked the clock before leaving, she had already wasted five minutes of her fifteen on pointless thoughts, she sighed to herself. She’d need to find the information, and quick!

Leila may have been new, but she had already knew where to find most things within this business buildings, it was quite well organised after all, and for that she was grateful. She raced to the location she knew she’d find the information she was looking for, if it existed that was. She pulled out a few files and flipped through them, ensuring to put them back in their rightful spots when she was done, she glanced up at a nearby clock. Only five minutes left! She was running out of time, and quickly. She knew it would take her a minute to get back to her screen, so she only had four left to find the information she required. She pulled file after file, trying relentlessly to find what she needed, but it was futile. However, her yellow eyes noticed something, a particular file was missing from the set she was searching through, her eyes narrowed. Someone must have found it, then taken it, so others couldn’t get to it. Typical. It was a competition after all and she would have done the same thing to ensure her victory. The raven-haired female had two minutes left, she used them to race back to her screen, sweating over which option to pick, she had no clue which was the correct one. She closed her eyes and pushed a button. Hoping it would be the answer they were looking for. The Green Square: “Legal, Dark, Indie”.

On the site, Fairy Tail started out as a legal guild, similar to the anime. It would stay in this alignment for most of site history, with nothing happening to possibly change this until Lucie, a young girl possessed by a sort of demon arrived at the guild. At first, she seemed innocent enough and the family welcomed her with open arms. However, as the demon within her urged her to kill, Lucie became a Coming Storm, drawing the attention of the Magic Council. The guild would hold a vote, and Kanix Laspor, guild master at the time would make the decision that family would always remain together, and that they would stay together to help the possessed girl no matter what.

The guild would then flee to Tetsukazu, hiding from the eyes of the Council, until Lucie as good as disappeared and the guild members grew weary and depressed. Kanix would disappear as well, leading to Sorano Granon being appointed as guild master, being the highest ranking member of the guild at the time, and held a meeting with the guild and Lucie to decide what to do.

The decision was made to expel the girl, leaving her with supplies to last a month outside of the guild, and with the help of Black Rose and legal tasks that the guild did, Fairy Tail eventually became an independent guild, unable to join the Magic Council's side again, but also wanting the freedom to conduct legal business.
