Fairy Tail Story Event!

Primo had just finished working and then pulled out a book as he thought to himself,"I wonder whats inside Lumen Histoire." Judging by it's name Primo thought it held the secrets and history of Fairy Tail also with the magic sample of all the guild masters in a diagram of their power. Primo thought about the guild masters and only thought of Ebony because he didn't know elder guild masters but then clenched his hand.


Primo knew of only one thing that he thought would be in Lumen Histoire: Fairy Law. Primo wasn't sure but he thought if it holds the history of Fairy Tail it hold spells also.Primo then thought there would be dragons pets weapons and more down in there. Primo imagined that he would get a chance to go there but then let his imagination roam free and then He pressed his Fairy Tail mark as a sword appeared and then Primo stuck it in the ground thinking maybe it from Lumen Histore and then Primo said,"I think I'll call it the Illumination of History." And Primo walked inside the guild hall ready for another day at Fairy Tail.

Lance sat at a table talking to Lea about something different that day. "Hey Dad, have you heard of something called Lumen Histoire?" Lea asked as she absentmindedly twirled her hair. Lance nodded and smiled "Yes I have..." He replied as he stared at Lea with a smirk. "What is in it?" Lea stopped twirling her hair and got excited so she listened to Lance closely. Lance shrugged and kept talking "I don't know..." He said as he went into a day dream of what it looked like and what was inside.

A dark library filled his mind and books lined the shelves. The books talked about the history of world and all of the events and people alive in it. Each book was about a person and what their history was, what kind of magic they used, and relationships they had. The library was guarded by a powerful spell that only let certain people go in and look in it.

Lance snapped out of his daydream and told Lea what he thought was in there and what made it so that not just anyone could look in it. "I think the library was formed by guild masters a long time ago to protect the history of the world to keep in from getting into the wrong hands." Lance added as Lea nodded "That is very interesting..." she muttered as she looked up and smiled at Lance "Thanks dad for putting some of your smarts into me!"

Rita found herself boredly dangling from the railing of the second floor in the guild hall. She had slung herself over the railing looking down at her guild mates feeling a bit curious. The freshly recruited mage took some time and let her eyes stalk around the hall. She hadn't been around Fairy Tail long enough to understand or get to know anyone all that great. Rita wondered if there was something she didn't know maybe some big secret.

As if on cue the words prickled her ears "Lumen Histoire." Someone among the fairies below her had drawn her attention in with that strange phrase. Rita looked around trying to find who's words they were so she could eavesdrop a little bit. She looked about at everyone buzzing around the guild hall below, she was only able to pick up a few other words from the same voice among all the caring on "Debatable, Fairy Tail's  true darkness or light?" Rita sonared around leaning over the railing  more to catch the rest of the words.  "The guilds greatest secret..."

After that she had lost track of the conversation among the sound of shattering beer mugs and cheering. Rita let out an exhausted sigh slumping down against the banister beside the steps. She couldn't stop thinking about that conversation. "What could this Lumen Histore be?" Rita wondered to herself. She drew out a notebook flipping to a page and headed the page with the words 'Lumen Histore'. Curious, Rita chewed on her pencil as she re-listened to the conversation in her head. "Darkness or light...A big secret..." she mumbled as she tried to write something on the page, But to no avail.
Rita scanned the words that headed her page over and over she thought if she could dissect their meaning hoping she would get a step closer. "Lumen...Lumen...Light" Rita was able to translate from Latin "Histore...Histore? H-History." She mumbled decoding the phrase. "Light History?"

Rita finding herself wound up in the subject burst out the doors letting them slam behind her. She ran herself to The library as quick as she could urgent and curious to solve this mystery. After her trip through town she reached magnolia's library rushing inside. Lacking hesitation the fairy began dragging volumes away from there spots on the shelf tossing them onto an empty table. She slid out a seat at the table piled up with the books.

Rita hastenetly flipped through her notebook finding her page where she had learned that Lumen meant 'Light' In Latin. Where as Histore translated to'History'. She  dusted off a textbook on Latin origins. Next the shadow wizard flipped through the pages until she found the information she was searing for regarding 'Light' the information was brief but it said that in Latin history the known bearer and/or representation of light was a dynasty named 'Lucifer.' She didn't bother questioning the facts before she flipped through the text more until she found another page. This page wore 'Lucifer' headed in bold an top of the page. She intently read away at the text. Due to the facts Lucifer was known as the devil himself according to parts of the text at least. Rita  became confused as she buried herself further into the words Lucifer began to be refereed to 'The morning star.' or 'the light bringer.' But is all light good is light power? Is power necessarily a good thing?

Rita began to take notes filling the pages in her notebook one after the next. She had always thought of light as holy,good, and positive. This began to make her think if a light was not always something positive. Light could symbolize power...but, in some instances power isnt pure.  'Light History' What if this light or power was in a way; Similar in a way that Lucifer was refereed to by a bringer of good and great evil in separate parts of Latin history.

This is where Rita began to take her final notes on this little investigation of hers. She pressed her pencil down on the sheet and let her words pour out onto the parchment.



Rita wrote down before shutting her notebook closed.

Lumen Histore sure seemed to be the word of the hour Simon had heard it whispered among guild members and watched Lance try to explain his ideas of what it was to Lea and just a few moments later Heero had made a big scene confronting Rita about it. He watched from above in his nest thinking about the word. Now Simon was a simple guy and he was far from a philosopher but his demon father had told him a story once and every time he heard the words Lumen Histore he couldn't help but think of that story. Simon scratched his head the memory was old and distant and he had to struggle to think about it and the more he reached for the memory the farther it seemed to slip from him. He shrugged it off and slipped into sleep where by complete accident he was dragged into the very memory he had been searching for earlier, yet it was oddly vivid.

He was 7 years old curled up in a pile of wolf pelts watching the metallic demon Kaminantium work his massive forged, the ancient giant spoke slowly and softly. "Child I know you are tired and these words likely will go in your ear, through your head and out the other but there is something you must know." The 7 year old Simon blinked and fought to remain awake to hear his father's words suddenly intrigued, but he was young and it was late and he could already feel himself dozing off. "There is a force in this world, a force of balance. It is an ancient power that always was and always will be. It is known as the power of the future and the power of the past." Young Simon was confused by this, how could something be a power of the future and the past? Even he knew those were opposites. "I tell you this while you are on the brink of sleep so that some day while you are once again in such a sleep you will awake to remember this knowledge for you shall need it.

Need was a word his father used very rarely. He always believed with a strong enough steel and a powerful drill a person could always break through their destiny and never really "needed" anything, that there was always a way around or through a problem. To say "need" was like screaming "THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT THING YOU WILL EVER HEAR" in Simon's ear. While he had been previously dozing off he was shocked back into focus as he heard this, but even then he drowsiness was already creeping back. Regardless the metal demon continued on "Light and dark will always conflict, until the end of days that is. Without that conflict reality would collapse and everything would blur into sameness. A dull black or white reality depending on which prevails. This force, of future and past maintains that conflict and ensures it forever continues to keep the world alive. Now this may seem inherently good but there is a dark side to this force, since light is positive and dark is the lack to keep the balance the force must be a source of light. This source of light will brighten and dim to keep the two forces of dark and light in balance as history plays out. So that means the force embodies light in order to maintain balance, this is where the dark side comes in, while it keeps balance it gives light a physical body. If it had a physical body: it can be destroyed. There will come a day when the force falters and the light in the world will become so great that all darkness and demon kind will be turned into nothingness and soon all reality will also turn to nothingness. For without dark there cannot be light, and without either there is nothing." Simon didn't like the sound of this, he liked demons, his father was a demon and the dark was nice, it was cool and calming. But at the same time he was beginning to feel his father was speaking nonsense after all, how can light have a body? "On this day, a day unlike any other, your destiny will become clear. To save all demon kind and to maintain the balance, you must destroy the force, destroy the light so that there can be darkness. That is why I have given you your power, your drill will pierce the light of...."

Simon woke up in a cold sweat, he wasn't sure how much time had passed but it felt like it had been hours. His skin was white and the world seemed to be spinning and his heart was racing. He didn't know what to think, the words his demon father had spoken so long ago now echo'd clearly in his head. Destroying light to save the world? It seemed like nonsense and what did this have to do with Lumen Histore? But then it became painfully obvious, Lumen: a measurement of light, histore: a record, history, a scale. It fit the description Kaminantium had given the balancing force perfectly. Simon clenched his fist the thought that he was expected to destroy Fairy Tails greatest secret and treasure was too much. He had to be wrong, he just had to be. He stared at the ceiling for a long time hoping and praying he was wrong. He needed to be wrong, he NEEDED to be wrong. But something nagged at the back of his mind telling him he was right. Simon really hated that something.

"Life, a fragile thing held in balance by two primal forces. The light that shines bright and delivers hope and love and then darkness that deliver our fears and strength to over come them. This is what secret Lumen Historia holds. Fairy Tail's ancient secret hidden in the basement. It's power is what delivers the strength to members of this guild in times of need. Two sides are needed to form the power delivered to the members.

Locked away in the Guild basement, Ebony hopes to keep it's secret safe. Without Lumen Historia, Fairy Tail would surely fall. It is Fairytail's light, and Fairytail's darkness. It is Fairytail's life. "

Raina watched Leapy descend into the basement and magically seal the door behind her. She was worried for her friend, even if she was the Guild master. Raina could feel the strong, breath taking magically energy emitting from the doorway, and was worried Leapy had gotten herself into trouble. She waited until Leapy reemerged from the stair way and confronted her. "Leap, please tell me you are not in some kind of trouble? I can feel the magic surging through there and it worries me. Whatever you are doing just be careful." She watched as Leapy tried to reassure her and walked away before turning back to the door. "Whatever is in there, if you cause harm to my family, I will not hesitate to extinguish you." She said before walking back into the guild hall.
