True and genuine sorrow was not an emotion she was used to feeling churn within the confines of her existence. Yet, the emotion was nearly drowning her now as she walked forward along the road that led into the place known as Era, the capital of Fiore, a place currently rumored to be under attack by monsters. When she first decided to head out and get involved in whatever was taking place in the capital? Nyx had not realized how much it would cause sorrow to rise up within her, it wasn't until she realized this monster attack was connected to the last two that the sickening emotion took its claw within her. On average, she was not one to be saddened by much of anything, but the remembrance that she had been with Chaoris the last two times was enough to conjure up the rare downtrodden emotion from her. Walking straight on this path was just another reminder she had not seen him in what now felt like forever! The high priestess of Savage Skull had never gotten around to 'reuniting' with her god after she had regained her ability to venture in and interact with the physical world in her ghostly state, following the actions that had been committed by Fluffy when that thing had control of what had once been her body.

Nyx knew very well the reason for her sadness was the fact she missed Chaoris and worried over what he now thought of her, maybe even feared the latter a bit. "Mortal emotions are such a hassle." Of course, she also knew that the emotions and ideas attached to them happened to be entirely pointless. Chaoris was a god, she didn't need to see him in order to be near him, everytime she killed in his name she was close to him! Secondly, if he blamed her for the cowardly things Fluffy had done, believed it had been her, the god would have already taken care of her existence. Thus the sadness that she felt inside only served to annoy the ghost because she knew everything she was feeling in connection was part of ridiculous mortal notions. Even if she was beyond the realm of normal mortals now? Nyx couldn't change the fact she had been born human and that was where all her emotions came from, it was infuriating. "Hopefully my feelings will stop this nonsense once I get blood on my hands again." that always seemed to make her feel better, worshipping in spite of the mortal emotions that said she may not even be considered a follower anymore. Once she let herself go like that? The only thing she could feel was the fight, and she couldn't wait for that again.

Anyway, ignoring the feelings gripping her stomach as she had done many times before now the ghost pushed forward reminding herself that once she got her hands soaked again it wouldn't feel like this. "Myth!" a black haired woman shortly up the path from her caught her attention, only breaths being required to realize it was Mythica, someone she had massacred alongside before. "I suppose we're both heading to Era from the direction you're heading, if you don't have anything against it, I'll walk with you until we get there and start fighting." she already knew the other girl, well aware there was no way Mythica would pass up a perfectly good opportunity to murder someone or thing. After making her comment, the ghost simply kept moving forward clearly not in the mood for a conversation today, expression clearly betraying how badly she just wanted to get her hands on someone and rip them apart.

It felt like her ability to breathe abandon her completely even though she was already dead, incorporeal heart clenching and skipping a few beats against her own will. "Chaoris." the god's name slipped from her transparent lips a smile spreading. Mere minutes from the fight she had been eagerly making her way towards, he stood tall as if not even a single day had passed. Oh, why hadn't she brought one of the many skulls she had cleaned from recent fights! Words wouldn't come past the mortal emotions she was trying to reign in, as the hope of fighting by his side once more exploded away the feelings from before.

What a perfect opportunity. The sun was setting on the still countryside as the still wind blew through the trees along the wooded path within the small forest leading towards the city of Era. Mythica stood atop one of the many trees, her feet firmly balanced on a large branch as she stared ahead, an unusual lack of expression from the girl. Normally she'd be found smirking, always thinking up some devious plan or scheme, but for now all she could do was stare at the path without emotion. Her yellow clock eye ticking slowly. What had she been doing here? Watching, waiting... Someone in particular was supposed to be coming this way, along this very path. She needed to be here for when they arrived. This was the only chance she would get to receive the element of surprise. Mythica was on the hunt. Ever since the first red star appeared in the sky with the death of Markus, the rest of the Remedy had been wary. Careful. There wasn't anything Mythica could have done about that. She didn't exactly have any spells that would hide the stars in the sky from everyone in the world. And even if she did, the Remedy would still sense that a member of their order had been assassinated. This was the exact reason Mythica chose to hide herself from the views of the public, never leaving any witnesses. Her plans were finally coming to a close. Careful steps were needed now more than ever before. There were only 6 wizards left she had to find and kill... And then finally Mythica would be able to find him...

Her thoughts were cut short however, when Mythica sensed movement. She braced for a battle, getting into her stance, ready to ambush her target. However, when Mythica used her precognition spell to determine if he was alone or not, she was surprised. Instead of seeing the tall, white bearded, black cloaked wizard she had been expecting, she saw someone else entirely. Not a stranger, though... Mythica couldn't help but grimace in disappointment. It was Nyx, who was not her prey. Sighing, she relaxed a bit. Mythica hadn't seen the ghost woman in a while, but last time they had met, the two girls went on a massacre. Good times. However, despite Mythica's personal opinion on the woman, she was still let down when she saw her. If Nyx was at this specific place, at this specific time... It was entirely possible she could've scared off Mythica's target. She knew who he was, and she knew he was very careful. Sighing, Mythica stood up straight, and then stepped off the tree branch. She landed in a crouch farther up the path from Nyx. It was at that moment the woman had spotted her. Mythica stood up straight again and gave her a playful wink accompanied by a smile.

"Wasn't heading towards the city so much as I was waiting for someone to come out." She said truthfully. It was true, Mythica was still aware of the current events taking place within Era. She had isolated herself from civilization the past few days to keep herself hidden from the many eyes that were now looking for someone like her. So of course, Mythica was confused as to what Nyx had been speaking of when she said fight. Mythica did enjoy killing, but did this woman intend to march right into the city and start killing random monsters left and right? While it did sound entertaining, Mythica wasn't sure they were really needed. Era was home to many of the world's strongest wizards, Mythica did not have confidence the monsters stood much of a chance.

It wasn't long after that Mythica and Nyx encountered yet another familiar face. Chaoris. As Nyx put it into words, she looked over at the girl and noticed her admiration for this man. She had her own experience with this self proclaimed god of war, the two destroyed an entire town together not too long ago. Clearly this woman and man had some personal history together. Based on what Nyx had told the clock eyed wizard about him when they first met. She seemed to be awestruck in his presence. Mythica couldn't really understand why, but figured it was just part of who she was. Mythica just retained her regular smirk and winked at Chaoris, but didn't say anything.

Finally, a war in Era. He had heard the mages in the capital of Fiore claiming it for a little bit now. Why was he not already in there? He had felt the presence of Nyx coming this way and he felt she would fight more adamantly if she was able to join him from the start, rather than clean up what was left over after he went in on his own. Not that the God of Blood would tell her that directly, her own mind would fill itself with whatever belief she needed to allow her to be happy about the situation. Another presence would be with Fluffy, another one he had felt before back when he had assaulted Peace Village. It was the crazy woman, almost too crazy for her own good, that said she went by the name of Mythica. Chaoris had invited him to join the guild some of his followers had created, which was basically shrugged off at the time, but maybe one of his long-running worshipers would be able to pull her in today. If not there were other days, and if she did not join she was still helping him with all the killing she was doing already.

The God would be found by them while he stood a few minutes out from the city, just far enough to hear the fighting and panic going on from within. It would be a glorious fight, one where he held allegiance to neither side. Those with him would only be fighting for themselves, and all of it would feed him and his realm to have an even more powerful presence wherever they went. Mythica would simply smirk and wink at him, though it did not bother him at all for her to do so. It was clear she did not quite believe what he was, but it did nothing to his ego for her to be skeptical. One in his service thought of him as a Realm Guardian rather than a god, and others thought him a demon of chaos. All of them were fine with him, so long as they fought and shed blood alongside the other concepts he was over.

The armored warrior looked over to them, his booming voice resounding from the helmet as he readied both of his weapons. "The fighting is already raging on. We have no allies in this city, slay all that cross your path and relish in the flames of war." The God would turn towards Era and begin a calm walk there. He wished to to see how the battle was going before he dove right in, to see the most populated spots to fight in and which would allow for the most fun in combat. Soon they would all bloody themselves for the fight, and soon they would hear nothing but the chaos of war.

    {rolling so some wasps can show up one way or another}

As the torrent of mortal emotion, she had been unable to control slowly ebbed away into simple waves, her ability to control her own being also returned once more. The way simply seeing him could return peace of mind to her, so many would think that it was absolute insanity. Of course, many would consider even the simple fact she believed his ideas, a form of insanity in itself. Funny enough, she had never felt saner than when she walked alongside him onto the battlefield. Nyx realized easily that he had not been standing in the middle of the road for no reason, this was not random for he was a god, spontaneity without reason was for mortals, he was above them. "Thank you." she didn't have to say what she was thanking him for, or even why she felt thankful for it; Speaking that much? Would get in the way of the fight they had to engage in shortly. If not for the height or her emotions, the woman wouldn't have even mentioned a single word, but it felt too good to realize that even if she didn't care to understand why, Chaoris had waited for her. Not that she would mention that out loud, it was too big for words, only how much blood she shed in his name would accurately show what it meant.

Flames of war, as he mentioned that the teenage appearing ghost looked down at her hand. Ever since being freed, the girl had not truly cast a single one of her flame spells, the strain of using that much magic on top of maintaining the between, it was just too much. Even strong as she was, Nyx still had her limits and it took nearly all her magic to sustain Savage Skull, making her even more thankful to follow the blood god as she had long since learned to never rely on that magic due to the cowardly nature of burning someone alive. Even if she was walking into the fight handicapped in a way? Nyx didn't feel worried for a second as she walked alongside the tall man with a smile on her mouth. "Well, it looks like your going in anyway's. Just like last time?" it was actually rather pleasant fighting on the same as Mythica, if one asked a 'normal' third party than the two of them were equally insane. What did that mean in terms of fighting? Mythica could understand the strategy without being told what to do, the time wizard made a good mid-long range partner.

Upon arriving in Era the battlefield was clear to see, flame monsters crawling over objects igniting things to burn. Off to one side some goblins were milling and she decided to leave them alone as they were strongest on first glance, Chaoris may want them, if he didn't take them than she would go after them later. For the moment? Nyx went right for the large rats without waiting a single moment, her foot quickly kicking one of them into a wall ending it. Normally going after something small would be a cowards move, but in this case, being outnumbered canceled that out to provide somewhat of a challenge. Finally, she was fighting again, and it felt amazing to fling the rodents off her and fend them off, fight against the crowd of them, just the warm up she needed for the moment.  Hopefully she would find something stronger soon, but she had to start fighting the second she got there, waiting just didn't feel right.

Event;; Chaoris/Mythica/Nyx Empty Re: Event;; Chaoris/Mythica/Nyx

Post by Mythica 1st June 2018, 1:44 pm

Well this was exciting, wasn't it? Mythica did not speak, nor did she really need too. It seemed all three of them knew exactly what was happening, and what was about to go down. Judging by the only sentence that escaped the three of their mouths was from Chaoris, confirming Mythica's earlier thoughts about how they intended to handle this. How fortunate for the people of Fiore that the three of these sinners decided to step in and lend a hand in destroying the threat that currently lay siege to their beloved city of Era. How sad the government must be to allow something like this to happen, and not only that, but now the dark wizards of the country are the ones who will end up saving them from their otherwise ultimate demise. Pitiful. Mythica did not say a single word after the three had met up, she just silently walked behind the two wizards. It was annoyingly obvious that the ghost girl had strong feelings towards the tall armored man who named himself a god, but Mythica didn't really bother. To her, they were both just a means to an end. That end being the only thing in this world she really cared about... That and a particular young fairy tail wizard... Mythica wondered what he would say if he saw her now. She couldn't help but giggle while her sinister thoughts brought up more possibilities. What would happen if he was at their destination, responding to the same threat?

It wouldn't take long for the trio to reach their destination, which could have been seen for miles in all directions judging by the large clouds of smoke that fumed from the coming destruction. The air itself grew strangely still as they approached the city limits, and the only sound that could be heard was the faint sounds of battle. It was true, Mythica, Fluffy, and Chaoris were not the only wizards drawn to the city. But she could deduct they were all here for a very different reason. Mythica summoned her weapons from the air as they trekked along the path. Her rifle resting steadily on her shoulder as she simply carried her pistol facing the ground. Her precognition didn't alert her to any immediate threats, but it was better to be ready. She still had no idea how strong these beasts they were going to be fighting were exactly. It was obvious to Mythica they must've been pretty strong if they were able to overpower the magic council, plus the multitude of wizards situated in Era when she assumed the attacks began. Not that she was worried, just excited.

When they arrived, it was pretty much what Mythica had expected. The city in ruins as monsters made of fire scuttled about, goblins picked through the wreckage, and to top it off, massive swarms of rats ran all around the area. Strange. Mythica would've very much liked to meet the cause of whatever these recent attacks were. She knew Era was not an isolated incident. Before there had been multiple events like this, but it wasn't until now that the girl decided to intervene herself. Unluckily for the creatures that were before her. With a sinister grin, Mythica got both her weapons ready. The rats seemed to be the first of the monsters to notice the three, and quickly made their way towards them. Nyx was able to fend off a few, but the swarm was much larger than anyone could've guessed. Without saying anything, Mythica held both her weapons forwards and let out a flurry of yellow shots. The rodents exploding on hit, splattering blood and broken bones across the already destroyed landscape. "As much as I like playing pest control, I think I'm going to find some more 'exciting' prey." Mythica giggled at the two. With a playful wink, she turned and teleported out of view in a yellow flash.

Post by Khorne 1st June 2018, 11:55 pm

Some would find it ominous that Chaoris Orneis never did a full charge into Era at the beginning, even letting Fluffy and Mythica run in well before him and into the fight before he even swung his weapon at any creature. For the calm walk, he simply relished in the carnage, the bloodshed, the chaos that was going on for him. It was like incense of the sweetest savor for his nose. It was like the flesh of a finely cooked beast for his tongue. This was what he existed for, what empowered him, and as long as even one person partook in events like this he would exist forever and continue to grow in power. At some point, he would not even need anyone to worship him, knowingly or otherwise, as he would grow strong enough to keep his realm and himself in existence on his own. Era was burning, fire elementals crawled across anything they could find as they tried to start fires and cause as much destruction as they could possibly do before their lives were snuffed out by the fingers of mages. Large rats, that were the size of dogs and gave off the obvious stench of filth and disease, chewed on living and unliving alike as they spread their ilk across anything they could. On one side a hoard of mini goblins trolled around the place, attacking anything in a wave of yelling as they used the smaller weapons they had smithed for themselves from wherever they had come from, and from somewhere else he could hear the buzzing of some type on bug swarm that was likely some kind of biting or stinging type if it was his choice to bring them about. Scorpions would be his choice, but he could see others using some kind of hellish wasp to release upon their foes.

Once he began to get into the thick of things, only killing the few rats that leaped at him, he would see Fluffy begin to tear apart the creatures even as Mythica stated she was finding bigger game after shooting through a group of them. It was true, even more so for Chaoris, that they needed to find a better challenge. For now, he would go for the goblins, the creatures crying out and slashing little swords at people as if they were the most terrifying presence in this city right now. Oh, how they were wrong. Goblins would find themselves being picked off, a single bullet tearing out swathes of them as the bullets exploded on impact to leave gore filled mini-craters that would make the paved roads look like they went through years of winter without repair. The hoard would turn on him, trying to stop their numbers from being thinned too much, only to find out too late that he was simply baiting all of them to him in the first place. Blood Fang would let loose an explosion that would go a hundred meters all around him, piercing through all of the goblins that had charged him, before the attack poured back into Chaoris to feed him all of the blood he had shed with the attack. The rush of strength and speed would cause him to finally charge, chasing after the goblins that had finally begun to realize he was not something to try and kill. The god of blood was something that would kill all of them until at least the mages came out to try and steal the show. A few mages, battered and injured, would try to cover the escape of the goblins only to find out that the creatures were more afraid of the armored god and simply used them as a human shield from his wrath.

The first mage never knew what hit them, their head being split in half with a single swing of Blood Fang in longsword form. The other two would land a few hits on Chaoris as he charged them, the god simply releasing a bellowing roar as the hits simply granted even more power behind the swing of his sword. The shots from the bloody lance echoed their bass as the explosive bullets tore large chunks out of the farther of the remaining two mages before his sword would clash with a magic shield that would quickly sputter out. The gasp of surprise at his shield failing with one strike would be cut short when the chainsaw of the bloody lance met his throat. The only noise at that point was the sound of grinding flesh and bone even as he began to swing at a few fire elementals that had tried to attack him at the same time. Little flames would sprout up from his sword as the blood-based weapon burned and the blood turned black, though the blood still remained none-the-less, even as the elementals found themselves dying quite easily to the weapon. Even though they had no blood he was still able to kill them with as little effort as possible. Maybe this would not be quite so fun after all, it was too easy. Something needed to change, and quickly, or he would simply find a way to bring more to the table for him to fight.

There was one odd thing about the current situation. Where were the Rune Knights? Had they been so scattered to all the cities, towns, and villages that they had not had enough to defend their own capital? The Magic Council should be ashamed of itself if that was how they were running the show. The poor strategy led to the earliest of demises, and surely a group that ran the entirety of the mages in Fiore would have a bit more of a solid mind when it came to thinking out properly troop deployment. Maybe he would find some of them here, if he was lucky, and slaughter them to leave a message to the Magic Council that they needed to show wisdom in their planning unless they wanted to find their worst nightmare standing at their front door. Chaoris's plans for today had nothing to do with sacking the city, lucky for them, and had more to do with enjoying the war that was going on here and in a plethora of other places as well. He could feel every drop of bloodshed, every life end, and every war cry that rang out in each place that had this same situation going on. It was glorious, and he wished it would never end! He knew that would not be possible, and thus he would simply continue on in his fighting until he began to hear the buzzing of bugs. The fire elemental numbers were thinned out plenty, and the goblins that had been in Era had long since ceased to exist at this point, when he began to see the wasps that were coming from above. This would be interesting. Would Mythica and Fluffy be all right? Would he have to keep an eye on them to make sure they did not get themselves killed? Neither were linked just yet to the pools of blood under the guild hall of Nightmare, which meant neither could be resurrected almost immediately in the safety of that great monument of a building to him. If they got killed here he would have to save their soul and put it into a new body. Hopefully, they would not mind if it came down to that, as it would mean they would have an entirely new body of his own design and not the original one that had fallen and caused him to have to do such an act in the first place. Time would tell, and he certainly had plenty of time for himself.

Dealing with the rats that she had initially targeted to get into fighting quickly as she possibly could, felt good. However, those beasts were not enough to keep her for long especially considering all of Era was a war zone, primarily against those creatures. If she kept just fighting the rodents? The battle would end swifter and that didn't sound any bit in alignment to the objective whatsoever! Nyx had quickly chosen to leave the rats largely alone, she fought them to keep busy, but some days she would fight anything simply because it was what she did more and more frequently. At this point? The rats were simply a time saver until she could find another fight here, one that would get her blood running hotter, a fight that would make her 'lose her mind' all over again, until nothing besides that fight existed. Whenever she managed to get into that space? Those fights were the best of them all.

Eventually, Nyx found the more difficult fight she was searching for in the form of a few spiritual wizards who had come to help fight off the monsters. Considering he had stated they had no alliance in this battle? There had been no choice in attacking them when she saw they had taken out several hoards of monsters in a relatively short time, it both proved their strength and proved them a threat to this battle being ongoing on the large scale it currently functioned on. If she had any onlookers, some of them may believe the ghost insane as she grabbed the first of the group by his neck ending his life swiftly and simply letting him drop. Her chosen opponents targeted souls with their magic and she was no longer living, they had a natural advantage against her! Of course, that was why she chose to fight them, it was more challenging, even one hit from them could end her, it meant she had to fight perfectly in order to win.

The wasps arrived while she was in the midst of the battle, honestly, the only time she took serious note of them was when the insects occasionally got in the way of her intended targets. Even if she was no longer feline? In a sense, she was still a hunter, maybe an even better one than when she had been a cat because back than it had been predatory behavior, now it was nearly compulsive instead. Nyx only took note of the bugs when she killed two of them simply because they got in the way, yanking out the stinger of one and using it to kill the other, barely even knowing she had done it due to her focus on the mages. In spite of the rush? She still had some idea of which mage out of the group represented the largest threat to her existence, her first move upon reaching the gathering of spiritual fighters was to stab her hand through the chest of that mage and then kick them to the side strongly enough to wind that mortal until the wound could kill them. With the main threat taken care of, Nyx easily fought her remaining opponents, utilizing a good deal of duck and attack to avoid being struck by blows that could quickly prove fatal to her, managing to bring them all down.

As result of her not noticing the wasps and thus being entirely ignorant of their abilities? Nyx didn't even know to watch for what happened next. Within the same moments, she took down the last of the group she targeted? One of the wasps crawled into the corpse of the first mage she had taken down. It happened before she could even turn around, in time with her most recent kill hitting the ground, a low blow to the back, so quick she didn't even know what happened right away, heck in the heat of battle it was doubtful anyone realized what happened right away. An incredibly bright flash of white light filled the battlefield and the sound of something metallic impacting the ground echoed. Within the short silence that followed? Nyx was able to look down and realize that metallic object was a black rod with seemingly translucent blood dripping from it onto the ground. She barely had the time to realize, it was her blood and that the pole had gone through her ghostly form right beneath her heart when the second part began. Lightning crackled through the air and a brief scream was ripped from the spirit as the energy seemed to tear at her incorporeal form.

Even if she had been ignorant of the wasps? Nyx knew exactly what was going on now, she was dying, her mind desperately trying to figure out how long she had as her head turned slightly. If she was going down? Whatever coward had shot her in the back was going down with her! However, the idea running in her head, it meant nothing because the static sparks across her ghostly flesh had done their job and restrained her until she was no longer able to materialize, so when she did take her punch at the wasp, she was literally incapable of hitting it. With her strength fading? All she could do was glare as she didn't even have the energy left to activate her magic. Of course, even without the energy, she didn't stop trying to hit the stupid thing, even as her ghostly form started visibly fading. If she couldn't avoid it this time? She could at least keep trying to take the stupid bug with her until it was over.

Event;; Chaoris/Mythica/Nyx Empty Re: Event;; Chaoris/Mythica/Nyx

Post by Mythica 8th June 2018, 1:54 pm

Through fire, smoke, and blood, Mythica could see it all. The destruction of the once prominent city in the kingdom of Fiore. Before today it stood tall as a beacon for wizards everywhere, as this was once the place where the magic council convened. Now, though, it was nothing but a battlefield. What it was meant to be. Finally a place where all wizards could be free to do as they pleased, and Mythica was going to abuse this advantage as much as she could. Even if her actions meant the place would one day return to normal. She did not care. The more she fought, the less she felt she was in control. Her already broken mind continued to split as she had gotten lost in the haze of conflict. Around her the bodies of monsters began to pile up as she charged her way straight through the ruined streets and destroyed buildings. They continued to answer her challenge as every single creature that stood before her fell to her feet.

Breathing heavily, the girl stood atop a mound of ruin as the fires surrounded her, and the monsters closed in. She held her weapons at her sides, both of them leaving trails of smoke from their barrels and her golden eye glowed brightly as the clock hands began to spin faster than anyone could keep track of. Through it she saw it all. Her moment of rest however was interrupted by another enemy as a goblin broke through the flames and leaped upwards, his long weapon ready to slash her in half. Breathing in, Mythica quickly gripped her weapons tighter and stepped to the side! Wood splinters and stone broke from the ground she stood only a few seconds ago, and she then spun around to fire. The goblin's head exploded with brilliant light, and he fell to the ground. But he did not act alone. All around the girl, the monsters gathered. It was obvious them by now that Mythica was going to be a problem. Moreso than many of the other wizards currently located in the city trying to stave them off. This was due to a very simple reason. Mythica had no purpose.

While all the other wizards seeked only to quell this uprising, Mythica's mind was shattered, and gone. It told her one thing. To kill. She had no concern for anything or anyone else, her only goal was to destroy these creatures. It may have been a shared goal with the others, but not for the same reasons. She had no need to defend anything other than her body. She was not attached to anyone or anything. Mythica's ambitions lied elsewhere completely. And these creatures soon began to realize this. She was insane and wanted nothing more than to fight them. And so she would, as the creatures accepted her challenge. With a smirk, she held up both of her guns and unloaded on a charging group of creatures. One by one they began to fall, but her bullets wouldn't be enough for all of them. They began to get too close for her ranged weapons, so Mythica had to adapt, she flipped her musket over like a long wooden club, and braced herself.

Duck, swing, spin, it was a dance Mythica seemed to be familiar with. The goblins surrounded her with their swords, but her agility far outmatched theirs. She leaned back as a sword swing flew inches from her nose, before spinning behind the creature's back, slamming her rifle into its body and firing. It's torso exploded just as Mythica sidestepped another blow! She quickly stabbed her weapon into the ground and used it to propel her feet into the creature's face as it toppled down the hill. She turned just in time to hold up her rifle and block a sword strike, her pistol than manifested in her other hand, and she released several bolts into the monster's abdomen. Once he fell, another came from behind him, charging her with a long spear. She sidestepped the strike, grabbing hold of the weapon's wooden shaft and shoving it upwards so the back of the spear slammed against his chin! The creature's grip loosened enough for Mythica to jab the wooden bunt of the spear into his chest, causing him to let go completely and fall off. With a spear in hand, Mythica spun around to slice the neck of a charging goblin, and shoot another straight in the head with her pistol. It was now her time to go mobile. With a smile, Mythica charged forwards, spear and pistol in hand! She ran up a pile of broken rubble and landed directly on top of a goblin, the spear sinking deep within his chest just as she rolled under a sword strike, standing up behind the monster and grabbing his arm. Shooting him twice in the rip cage before catching the weapon as it fell from his hands and spinning around to throw it directly into another monster! Mythica continued to fight as hard as she could, using her agility to outmaneuver the monsters surrounding her, but it seemed like they never stopped coming... Her mind was locked in the state of endless battle and she could not escape it. Not until every single creature was dead. Although something did happen to briefly shatter the state of mind.

Mythica perked up slightly and her insane grin and heavy breathing faded as she heard the scream of Nyx rip through the air. She knew that voice, and she knew she had to have been in trouble. Mythica looked around her quickly, but only saw the army of goblins surrounding her, and the fires of their destruction. While Mythica wasn't fond of letting Nyx die, she couldn't exactly do much in her current state. She was surrounded, and had no idea where her ally was. Hopefully Chaoris could rescue Nyx while Mythica was forced to finish off the army of goblins. She had already used too much magical energy, so teleporting wasn't an option any longer...

Post by Khorne 10th June 2018, 12:39 am

Even as Chaoris continued making a trail of blood in his wake, whether of mage or monster it did not matter, the god paid close attention to what was going on around him in the city. The wasps that had begun to swarm quickly found out that he cared not for their stings as they hit him. They simply added fuel to the fire as the god seemed to grow more and more powerful than he had been when he had first charged into the town. Even as a swarm of the flying insects swarmed him he would use his sword to create a massive burst of blood that would take them all out before coming back to reenter his current physical body. The sudden influx of strength and speed would make it hard for the flying creatures to keep up with him, let alone dodge any physical attack he aimed their way, and before long he was simply clearing out swathes of the city of bug, pyre, and goblin even as he killed the people that got in his way. Era, the Magic Council, and the whole of Fiore would not soon forget what happened here this day. After hitting the edge of town he decided to turn back and begin working his way around the edges where people were trying to turn tail and run. This had gone well until he heard a particular scream that sounded like a death cry that actually caused him to change his course he had set. The scream was definitely one from Fluffy, and that meant she had been hit by something she could not deal with. More and more of the trash that got in his way found themselves simply popping as he just manipulated the blood, or what was considered their blood in some cases, as he used the power of his own domain to speed up his quick travel to where one of his most loyal worshipers could be seen struggling for her life.

Struggling was one way to put it, the ghost form she was in was unable to physically deal with the group of enemies around her that had caused her current situation. Everything around Fluffy was not an ally of them, and thus would be slain with due diligence before he turned his focus to the quite angry ghost that was beginning to fade from this existence. "Cease your outrage, you are not going to die here and now. Let me show you one of the things I can do for those that have found my favor." With that said the god would begin manipulating the blood that filled the area and drew it all into the spot that Nyx was in. The blood would ebb and flow around her exact spot, literally drowning her in it had she been a living and breathing person, as he began one of the things he had not done much before this time. The god would begin crafting with the blood, manipulating a body that the soul of the woman would inhabit once he was done. Once the process was started she would begin to feel the power flow through her, and the body would take the form of any hidden power that she had due to the process bringing out as much potential from the one chosen at the same time. A proper name for the procedure would be something like a 'blessing of true form' if one was to try and name it on their own, but he had no intention of putting a permanent name on something that was best left to the imagination of those it happened to and those that got to watch it happen. The process only took a few minutes, anything that tried to get into the area finding out he was clearly able to still pop them from the inside out with their own blood at the same time, and after he was done the woman would find herself put into a new physical body that he doubted she would be against the look of. It did use her own thoughts and feelings to create it, plus a bit of genetics and anything hidden within her that she might or might not know about herself. "Now go forth and conquer Fluffy. You have received a great blessing, show me your faith and help slaughter the rest of these hordes with Mythica and me." The god would use Blood Fang to point in the direction he could feel Mythica in, knowing she would be fine on her own if she was still standing after this much time in the city before he would begin to go off and fight those that were still standing in the large area.

Off in the distance, a small battalion of Rune Knights could be seen rushing to try and 'save' the population of the city. Any of the group could fight them if they wished, and it was likely that after they did a bit more and took out all the Rune Knight that Chaoris would simply leave the area. There was not a whole lot left to fight at this point, he had covered nearly a quarter of the city himself, and soon there would be no point but to add insult to injury by staying on this particular battleground.

    WC complete.

She was numb even though no physical body existed to feel that, the ghost of her was just growing number as it faded away from existence slowly. The last thing she saw before cold blackness took over was Chaoris and she was lucky her vision had held out that long, his voice was just static as he spoke. Blood washed to the area, by the view of many it would be for no reason since she had faded from normal sight, but the god had gotten to the ghost in time that even though far gone she was still within his grasp. Only? Nyx had no idea, even as the blood rose up to take the form that was being molded by the god's gift, she had no clue. While everyone else was marveling at the blood taking humanoid form, all she could perceive was absolutely nothing. Of course, death was not the reason for this, instead, Nyx was unable to even know she was still alive because her soul was focusing everything on latching onto the gift granted by Chaoris and repairing itself enough to inhabit that gift.

Then it happened, a distant memory of something like ocean waves, even in that blackness she felt something surrounding and enveloping her. In spite of logic saying she should have been dead? When her vision returned she found herself 'floating' beneath an expanse of blood, the coppery taste in her mouth aligning with her unshakable faith served as more than enough for the girl to make sense of it. Chaoris had reached her before she could fade completely, and now she knew it. Time passed her slowly even though it likely went swiftly for everyone else as the burning flame within her caught up to things and blazed like an inferno back to life, rising from within while the blood pressed against her flooding in from the outside and joining the consuming flame in the dangerously devastating dance. Prior to now? She had always been the bright sort, a burning flame, but now the heat she always carried returned like never before and it was churning for somewhere to escape.

A sound much like that emitted by large birds of prey broke the air, only it was muffled as if the cry was being emitted from under water. Only a single heartbeat remained from that noise until the blood fell revealing the new form that the former ghost had taken. Pale gore covered skin moved slightly, chest heaving for the first breath of new life as golden optics flew open getting to see the world for the first time. Blood dripped slowly to the ground from the pointed horns that wrapped around to the front of her head, clearly an effect of the body coming from her god, one that she would appreciate when she got to actually see it later. The next thing of note? Was clearly an effect from something his power had drawn out of her, a few black feathers fluttering to the ground as large black wings opened from her lower back for the first time. "Uh-huh." there was a slight limp nod as she proved she had heard her gods words, clearly needing a few moments to remember how to move within a body.

Once Fluffy got the hold of a body once more? Well, that was it for anything that stood in the resurrected girls way. The new body, was a perfect match for the close combat adoring female, claws adorning her hands and feet in the place of nails, the wings shockingly sharp and solid almost as if the feathers could be used as weapons or something. Although it seemed for the moment her wings couldn't get the female off the ground, it would remain to be seen if this was due to the blood still drying from them, how new they were, or if they were just not meant for that. Not too surprisingly? Even though she performed well in the rest of the fight, Nyx could not remember very much of it over the recall of how much she'd been driven to attack anything unaligned with them.

Upon the fighting ending, on the way out of the city, she would stop to look into one of the few windows not broken during the fighting, looking at her new body. "My, the important thing is how well this new body works, but-" she walked forward touching one clawed hand to its reflection. "It's nice to feel like I know who I'm looking at again. Really didn't feel like me without claws." she had learned to kill largely in the body of a feline, so it wasn't shocking her new body took on some aspects of them like claws and her eyes being that striking golden shade. "I'll have to get some armor or something made later to match this new body." she almost purred the comment, clearly happy with the upgrade from her wings 'flapping' much like a dog would wag its tail. "I should likely cover up with something else in the meantime though." was it wrong to have such a rush over the lovely state of this new body and how capable of killing it was? Either way, she didn't care much simply wandering a few steps behind the others for a little until she managed to piece together something like a makeshift dress, it wasn't the most conservative, but it did cover what was important and that was what mattered! After-all walking around naked for no reason would likely be praise to some sort of perverted god.

Post by Mythica 13th June 2018, 12:30 pm

    Harder. Faster. Stronger.

Mythica's body whipped around the battlefield at speeds far faster than any mere human could ever pull off, felling monsters whenever she stopped. The ground below was now red with their lifeblood as one by one, the goblins fell to the ground with their own weapons stuck inside their bodies. The clock eyed wizard was simply trying to by time at this point. She had used up a ton of her own magical energy at this point, which is why she had resorted to melee attacks instead of expelling more magical energy to use her guns. Mythica instead used them as clubs, and that as well as combining her foe's weapons agains them, she could get by no problem. These creatures didn't appear to be very smart. If they were, they probably would've adjusted their strategy by now. Of course that didn't happen though, and they much preferred to try and defeat the clock eyed girl with overwhelming force. Shame they didn't realize it was Mythica who was overwhelming.

Duck, swing, dodge, roll, Mythica danced around the battle. It was a dance she was all too familiar with by this point, and hr skills far outmatched anyone in the vicinity. She continued to breath heavily, but keep her wide smile as she fought. Blood stained her skin and dress as she showed no mercy to one unlucky goblin. Jamming his own spear deep within the monster's mouth. All around her they still surrounded... It seemed endless. She straightened her back and took a moment to gaze around. Breathing endlessly, Mythica swallowed and looked at her hand. Finally, it felt strong again. While Mythica may have been pushing herself to her limits as far as her physical body was concerned, her magical body was finally ready to be unleashed again. Mythica smiled and looked towards the smoke covered sky that fell over the city. She extended a hand and pointed her musket straight towards the heavens! With one powerful shot, a bright yellow light flew up towards the darkened smoke. All the monsters in the area halted their actions and took a look at the distracting beam of light. It soon faded into the smaug above, but the spell was far more than a light show.

Suddenly, a large yellow flash could be seen inside the clouds, and the ground soon began to glow. Beneath Mythica a MASSIVE golden magic seal appeared! The edges had numbers on them, ranging from 1 to 12. It looked like a massive clock. Before the creatures surrounding the clock eyed mage could even react, the seal lit up in a blinding flash! When the light faded... Everything had gone quiet. The sounds of fire and falling rubble had ceased, and the howls and screeches of monsters vanished as well. All around Mythica... Everything had stopped completely. The monsters and fire stood frozen in the air... All as if time had completely stopped. She grinned widely and Mythica got her weapons ready to fire. She pointed both pistol and musket back towards the sky and let out a flurry of yellow magical bolts! The streamed through the air, splitting off in random directions and spiraled towards her targets. As soon as the effects of the time seal began to wear off, the monsters gaining some feeling once again... it was far too late. Mythica turned and began to walk away with her rifle hoisted over her shoulder. The monsters behind and in front would suddenly drop dead as a yellow beam of magical energy shot through each and every one from the sky above. Now it was time to finish the fight... Mythica had sensed a stronger foe ever since she had heard Nyx's scream. After all, none of these pathetic creatures would've been able to down her... At least Mythica hoped so.

Sure enough, the girl came face to face with a swarm of angry wasps. Only these ones were giant. They seemed distracted though. Mythica could see the effects of Chaoris as he made his way towards their fallen ally. At least Mythica didn't need to play doctor, she wasn't sure she'd be very good at it. With a well aimed shot, one of the flying pests fell to the ground, smoke trailing from a hole in its head. This got the attention of the others and they all turned to face the girl. She giggled and winked at them as they angrily buzzed towards the woman. They were quick, Mythica could give them that, some of her shots not hitting them, but they didn't seem overly dangerous. Not anymore anyways. With their numbers thinned by both Nyx and Chaoris, they seemed distracted, and clumsy. Something Mythica was sure to take full advantage of.

Once that mess had been cleaned up, it appeared as if the fighting was over. Before Mythica lied nothing but the landscape of death.. And it was strangely quiet. Aside from the sound of the faint wind and a few fires... It was silent. She took a deep breath in through the nose, and exhaled through the mouth. Now would be the time to reconvene with her allies she supposed. See if Nyx was alright, or needed to be put out of her misery. Mythica turned and walked towards where she could sense their presence. Finally arriving on the scene with her gun on her shoulder, Mythica was surprised to see someone not Nyx at all, but a new girl. She cocked her eyebrow up in confusion, but then turned to Chaoris. He seemed completely relaxed around this newcomer. Mythica did not utter a word, but simply stared at both of them and awaited an explanation.

The Rune Knights, upon reaching the city, would, unfortunately, decide to relocate and go off to wherever the Magic Council or refugees had gone off to. The city of Era was in shambles, the noise of the place gone silent as nothing but the three of them were in the area. They had slaughtered so much today, and he was proud of the two that were at his side fighting today. Mythica had done well, and Nyx was now blessed with a new and more powerful body. With nothing more to fight Chaoris Would begin to stand beside Fluffy as the clock mage made their way to them as well. The crazy, clock-eyed, woman seemed confused by the 'newcomer' that was the new form he had given to his loyal follower before the female had completely been removed from existence. "Do not worry, Mythica, she is a friend you know. The Nyx you knew is still here but her body is new. The old failed, and thus she has been blessed with one made by me and her hidden potential. Should either of you choose to join the guild that follows me you will not have to worry about needing such a blessing, now or ever, as those with the mark I give can simply come back to life endlessly without worry." The god of blood would give the quick explanation followed by another invitation to the two of them to join the ever growing guild he had going for him. He did not exactly need a guild, but it made things a lot easier to control those within the planet of Earthland because of how the magical beings of this world worked.

"I suggest you both leave the city before the Magic Council sends in a full army. The work I wished to do here is complete, and I am going to take my leave. Fight brave, shed blood, and continue on with the goals the two of you have set with honor." With that said, Chaoris would open a portal up that led to the realm of brass and blood that he held dominion over and stepped inside. It was a mission complete for him, he had had his fun and could now focus on what he needed to do next.
