Primary Magic: Magen
Secondary Magic:
Caster or Holder: Caster
Description: The user of Magen, a powerful version of standard illusion magic, uses their own hypnotic brain waves to manipulate the senses of his or her opponent. This is done by channeling magic through one's own brain and sending it into the mind of his or her target. This magic allows the user to freely manipulate the senses of sight, touch, smell, taste, and hearing in their opponents, making them dangerous and versatile mages due to the wide range of creativity that can be applied in their spells. The hypnotic wavelengths used are radial, meaning they effect everyone and everything within the set area of the spell (as long as it has a mind of some sort to effect).
The reason this is considered to be a more powerful version of standard illusion magic is that Magen can also moderately control reality. This is done to only to a certain degree, in the sense that illusionary damage is applied as real, physical damage when dealing with physical constructs and creatures. The best part of this ability of the magic is that it is optional -- in other words you could have the illusion do damage to one person but not another. For example, you could have an illusory sword pass through one person (this would, of course, still do illusionary damage to that person, but it's better than actually harming them), and actually slice another person just behind them, although any damage done is only applied as real damage once the illusion is over or has been dispelled.
Strengths:
Weaknesses:
Abilities/Powers: Ability to use hypnotic wavelengths to effect all senses. Ability to turn illusory damage into real, physical damage. It is also a great aid in the use and/or practice of prestidigitation (through the use of none-combative free-form illusions)

Strengths:
- This magic is invisible, and as such is impossible to avoid without some ability to see the hypnotic waves or understand their range.
- Any Illusions, unless stated otherwise by the ability/spell, once they are dispelled and/or have run their course, can do actual, physical damage to specified targets, while not effecting anyone else in the area (technically).
- Controls all five senses of the target creature.
Weaknesses:
- The illusions themselves DO effect all targets within range, including allies.
- Can be seen through by people with some sort of ability to see through illusions, and in such cases any illusion directed towards said person/creature is dispelled before being able to do damage.
- Cannot effect anything without some semblance of a conscious state.
- Magen Illusions that effect the senses cannot effect telepaths of a higher rank than the user of Magen
- Before a Magen spell has been cast, it is possible for mages to feel a sudden surge of magical energy coming from the user, warning them of an impending illusion.
Abilities/Powers: Ability to use hypnotic wavelengths to effect all senses. Ability to turn illusory damage into real, physical damage. It is also a great aid in the use and/or practice of prestidigitation (through the use of none-combative free-form illusions)
- Spells:
- Magen; Nobegame:
- Name: Magen; Nobegame
Rank: D
Type: Illusion
Description: Haschel makes the illusion that he is holding a sword, or there is a sword nearby him that he can easily grasp. He may use this sword as a standard weak sword for damage purposes, and it cannot be broken, since it is not actually there, it just feels like it is. It can only be felt, heard, etc. if the person experiencing it was within range for the initial casting of this spell. Initial illusion effects everyone within a 30 ft. radius of Haschel.
Strengths:- Cannot be broken (without dispelling it)
- Can cut as if a normal sword even though it isn't really there.
- Can be used to block physical attacks.
Weaknesses:- Is an illusion, so can be dispelled.
- Cannot effect targets who weren't hit with the initial spell.
- Cannot effect spells (unless they are summons).
Duration/Cooldowns 5 post duration, 7 post cooldown - Cannot be broken (without dispelling it)
- Magen; Setsunateki:
- Name: Magen; Setsunateki
Rank: D
Type: Illusion
Description: Haschel, having caught his target(s) in his hypnotic brain wavelength, procedes to cast a wide-spread illusion on the direct field, allowing him to manipulate the senses of anyone caught in this illusion at will (up to 2 at a time). This can be useful for tricking, confusing, and distracting his opponents, however anything caused by the spell Setsunateki can not be converted to actual harm. When this spell is cast, a rippling wave of magic/hypnotic clear energy can be seen extending out to 100 ft. around Haschel. This wave then disappears, once it has reached all the way out.
Strengths:- High versatility
- May abruptly switch between senses that he is targeting
- Things created by this illusion, though they cause no harm, cannot be avoided once caught in the illusion
Weaknesses:- Is an illusion, so can be dispelled.
- Cannot effect targets who weren't hit with the initial spell.
- Must remain stationary while using Setsunateki.
- Setsunateki can only effect mages of a lower rank than Haschel, minimum of D rank (meaning at D-rank, Haschel can still hit other D-ranks with it.)
Duration/Cooldowns 5 post duration, 10 post cooldown, range 100ft. - High versatility
- Magen; Toukichien:
- Name: Magen; Toukichien
Rank: D
Type: Illusion - Supplementary
Description: By channeling illusionary magic through his body, Haschel creates the constant (for as long as the spell is active) illusion that all of his movements are actually a full second behind where he actually is. In other words, were he to throw a punch, it would not register visually to the one under the illusion until a full second after it actually happened, giving Haschel 2 attack rolls for every offensive action he takes.
Strengths:- Gives Haschel a second attack roll for each attack
- If the target does not succeed at blocking both attack rolls, the attack succeeds (meaning they roll two block rolls, but if they are not both successful, it is considered a failed block)
- Makes him a very illusive moving target
Weaknesses:- Is an illusion, so can be dispelled.
- Cannot effect targets who weren't hit with the initial spell.
- Any buff magic cast on the person under the effects of this illusion will overwrite the effects of this illusion.
Duration/Cooldowns 4 post duration, 6 post cooldown - Gives Haschel a second attack roll for each attack
- Magen; Kasumi Juusha:
- Name: Magen; Kasumi Juusha
Rank: D
Type: Illusion
Description: Haschel creates the illusion that the area is suddenly thick with fog/mist and there are half a dozen exact copies of himself standing abreast in front of him. These copies proceed to attack specified targets relentlessly, any attacks directed at them merely passing through as if they were ghosts, or made of the mist itself. They continue to wear away at the target(s) repeatedly until the spell is either dispelled or has run it's course. The clones each do damage equivalent to Haschel's rank. This is a very draining technique, and, as such, Haschel can only use it alone when casting it, and is unable to use any other illusions. Also, these illusions are ineffective if Haschel is low on magic power, or has used another spell in the same post.
Strengths:- Creates clones of Haschel to fight for him
- Clones cannot be damaged, as attacks simply pass through them
- Can be used to hide away and make a quick escape
Weaknesses:- Is an illusion, so can be dispelled.
- Cannot effect targets who weren't hit with the initial spell.
- Copies cannot block incoming attacks for Haschel, or anyone else
- While in use, this is the only illusion Haschel can use
Duration/Cooldowns 3 post duration, 5 post cooldown, range 60 ft. - Creates clones of Haschel to fight for him
