Post by Cirven 23rd January 2018, 5:03 pm

It had been a few days after the attack conducted by the necromancers that suddenly came to Tolgalen with some new allies that were brought into the ranks of the West Fiore Trading Company and the flip side of the mercenary guild, Black Sails. They were deserters of the guild Basilisk Fang and were looking for a new home. Their ability and their want to help the island brought them a ticket into the guild where they were given the chance to be regular members or more if they wanted.

The attack had not only brought new allies but it brought new enemies for the devil that lead the dual sided guild to deal with. A new enemy that the devil could not predict or defeat easily at all. A new enemy that was after the dual-eyed guild master and was barely prevented in taking him during the attack.

A swarm of black electricity ripped through the forest in Tolgalen where it destroyed the trees within a fifty foot vicinity of the center of it which stood the devil himself as he stood in the center of the forest in silence with his eyes closed. Nothing tried to bother him as the electricity would scorch them for getting too close to it. Cirven opened his eyes and put out his hand in front of him where the electricity slowly started to move towards it. It all started to gather into a black ball of electricity but before it could all be collected something went wrong and the ball exploded into magical energy which sent Cirven flying backwards through some trees. Immediately after the explosion of magical power, a serpent dragon flew down through the sky quickly towards where Cirven had ended up. She arrived to where he was only to find it covered with the limbs and trunks of trees as if they were pulled there by some sort of magnetism. "Damn it!" Cirven's voice yelled out and a burst of black electricity erupted from out of the pile of trees which sent them flying out of the pile. Cirven stood up from the bed of trees he was thrown into and looked at Zinnath surprised. "Zinny? Did I worry you? Sorry.." He spoke to his best friend and pet then reached his hand out to pet her. She moved towards his hand but then moved passed it and wrapped herself around him to hug him with her snake-like body which to anyone else would look like he was being constricted by a giant snake. "It has been a awhile, huh? Sorry about that. I should try to be out here more with you than I have been. I bet it gets lonely, huh?" Zinnath gave off a groan to him in response to his talking. "Sorry. There has been a lot going on recently." She let him down lightly after he was finished speaking and he pet her head while she gave a happy moan to him with her tongue slithering out of her mouth over and over again.

The sound of something large moving towards them came through the forest which quickly caused both of them to ready themselves for an attack. The attack came swiftly as a large claw ripped through the brush near both the dragon and dog devil. Zinnath flew into the air and Cirven ducked under the claw before jumping towards where he could see the claw came from and slashing his electrified claw across its chest. The beast let out a loud roar as the pain came over its body but only stumbled backwards and kept its footing. Cirven recognized the creature as one of the carnivorous creatures on the island that had been a local creature called a Sabre Toothed Behemoth. The creatures were known for being huge at around fifteen-twenty feet tall and were around ten-fifteen feet wide. They were similar to a lion or tiger but much larger with horns made of tough skin as well as their claws. Their skin was sought after for the use in making weapons or other hard material for how sturdy it was.

"Zinny, you are going to get a good meal tonight!" He called out to his companion and then took in a deep breath until his cheeks puffed out and black electricity danced out the sides of his mouth. He started to release his spell from out of his mouth but something felt different as he went to do so and the blast did not come out. Cirven had no time to be surprised and was smacked by the claw of the massive beast which sent him into the ground where his spell then decided to be shot off into the sky which would alert anyone on the island of something going on in the forest that was not typical of what usually happened as a blast of black lightning soared up from the forest into the sky.

Post by Sol 26th January 2018, 1:36 am

Sol was traveling across the island and around Tolgalen with his faithful pet Panzer trying to get a better grasp of the landscape, the metal beast caused the ground to shake with every step of its metal paws. On its back was the dragon in human form and he was smoking his trademark Kiseru and the smell of nightshade lingered in the air. Sol yawned and pat the machine beast on the side.”come one Panzer we gotta finish exploring, at least its warmer then our last home” he said with the beast releasing a metallic growl of confirmation .

Seeing a bolt of Black lightning nearby Sol and his pet decided to investigate and soon saw both Cirven their new boss and a serpent dragon along with a giant Behemoth. Sol quickly spang into action and lept off of his beast and high into the sky before he sucked in a large breath and would face the behemoth before unleashing a roar of shadows right at the creatures face. then as he came down would shift into shadows and wrap around the creature with feathery shadows assault the creatures body and hopefully downing it. As he finished Sol reappeared in front of Cirven. “you look like you could use a hand boss” he joked as he offered the man a hand to help him up.

Post by Ruvel 26th January 2018, 5:19 pm

Ruvel had just closed his eyes to get some much needed sleep given everything that had happened of late, his training had intensified since the day that Sol, Yuiisai, Aguya and Aioai had joined the ranks and he still had no idea why. The only thing that made sense to him that the thing with the undead had made his brother far more paranoid, not that he would have blamed him the necromancers had managed to get through security checks that should have been infallible; needless to say people where fired and jailed over the ordeal when bribes where found to have crossed hands. Not once did it cross his mind that it was because of something within him, regardless since that day he had been far more lethargic than normal and the training wasn't helping him feel any more like his normal self. The final thought that had crossed his mind as he started to drift off was 'Why is Cirven acting different not only in my training but his as well?' it was a question he knew he should ask but feared the answer that may come of it.

For around an hour he had slept in his normal light slept aware of every footstep, breeze and twinkling star around him but shot up in a cold sweat as he sensed the lightning spike in the area. To his knowledge Cirven was the only person on the island that primarily used lightning magic "C-Cirven..." his voice panicked running towards the area that seemed to have the most magnetic energy in it, instructing the guards he met along the way to be on alert and protect the headquarters in case this was another attack. He stopped in his tracks as he seen one of the newer members of the company formerly of the dark guild Basilisk Fang standing over his floored brother. He didn't want to think the worst but given Sol's past to the point he was classed as a coming storm and the huge risk they took letting him and his associates in, it could have easily been a ploy to get them to lower their guards which they had on some level. "What's going on? Cirven? Sol?" he finally spoke up walking over to them both stroking the flying serpent who seemed to be more than a little worried about her companion "He'll be fine Zinny... he hunts with you and spars with Barthenz, if neither of those kill him then I doubt whatever happened will." he said warmly in jest to try comfort her but had no idea if it had worked any. "Bennu wants to go flying again with you soon Zinny." he remembered hearing the chirp at the back of his head as he was reminded.

The green haired woman had been busy as of late. Not with anything particularly troubling, but with mastering new spells. For the life of her she could barely read her father's handwriting in the book she had carried with her since her tenth birthday. A book that was supposed to have been passed down to her little brother, something which could never be now that both her father and brother were gone. Still, Yona pursued her magic like a master hunter in the wild seeking his prey. She knew if she just kept reading and trying, the magic within her would blossom and grow. Yona wanted more spells, and more powerful ones, to kick Darius' butt and to impress Johann himself. She wasn't about to let her near-death experience define who she was in Johann's eyes. Yona needed power and a chance to prove herself capable. She bit her lip, squinting her eyes into the book and held her right hand up like a firing weapon of some sort. And just as she began to concentrate, a loud explosion rocked the ground.

Her disturbed concentration had her groaning as she lowered her hand, snapping the book closed and placing it into a bag. She put the bag over her shoulder in a haste, moving it to hand diagonally across her body. Yona wore her usual short brown shorts and long brown coat with a black cropped halter top. It was comfortable wear for a brief interlude in the forest outside of the main guild compound. Yona dashed towards where the explosions had come from, her soft brown boots pressing against the hard ground with haste. A sudden strike of lightning made her mouth fall open, but as it was in the same direction as the explosions, Yona moved onward. "The hell was that?" She exclaimed out loud.

Yona chose to pause then, pressing her hand to the ground, feeling the bodies nearby and identifying them: a very large creature at least fifteen feet wide, another large creature with a strange form- claws and perhaps a heavy tail, and three humanoid two legged forms. She could feel through the roots their presence in the forest and considering the number of people and creatures involved, as well as the lightning, Yona decided to be extra cautious. Recklessness was her signature move, but black lightning meant.. "Cirven," She whispered, placing the magic from memory. The other bodies might be foes or friends, but she would not know until she arrived. Yona partially hoped it was friends out of concern for her guild master, though she also knew just how capable he was. Yona had to assume some sort of enemy was also present.

The green haired woman burst into view of the others then and stopped, back towards the monstrous creature whether alive or dead, her emerald hues trained on Cirven's fallen body and Ruvel's concerned expression. "What's going on? Who are you?" Yona demanded, turning to Sol. She didn't recognize him at all, though to be fair, a few new faces had been rumored to be around. Her right hand flexed, ready to draw out a spell in an instant. As much as she wanted to simply spring roots from beneath the unfamiliar face, with both Ruvel and Cirven here, she didn't dare act so brazenly just in case it was a fellow member.

"That, Yona, is Mr. Terumi. Sol Terumi, one of the newest additions to the ranks of the West Fiore Trading Company" he commented, placing a hand on her shoulder, hoping that would calm her rather nervous right hand before stepping forward and raising his own to his chest and giving all present a respectful and proper bow, standing up straight to give Sol a warm smile. "Mr. Terumi, now that you are part of our prestigious organisation" he folded his hands behind his back, leaning forward a little "you really should consider wearing a uniform to prevent ... accidents from occuring" before turning to the green haired woman beside him, looking at her with his grey right and red left eye, a slightly reproachful look on his face, but still wearing his warm smile.

It had been business as usual on this day for him, and despite the fact that material, people, funds and repairs had to be directed and coordinated the routine slowly found it's way back to Divide Island. Johann had woken up, done his training in the magic training hall, and had his breakfast before moving to his desk, a slightly worried look on his face as his eyes found the large stack of paper that was already there, waiting for him. Johann had, much to his displeasure, found that both Ruvel and Cirven weren't exactly favouring the more administrative side of the company, leaving him with more paperwork than usual as the two were nowhere to be found again and all manners of things needed authorization now that a whole bunch of rebuilding was being done. Still, he couldn't blame them, knowing that they too didn't take the recent events likely and, especially with the CEO, would shift blame around where it shouldn't be done. With that he sat there, signing sheet after sheet, stamping paper after paper until some time had passed, the VP now standing up, the chair he had been sitting on creeking a little as he stood up, unilaterally deciding he needed a break before heading out of the HQ for the refreshing nature of Divide.

He was walking down the road from the HQ to one of the nearby port towns, the soothing ocean breeze hitting him as he wandered, causing him to stop in his tracks and just stand there for a few seconds, enjoying the tropical summer day before a loud boom caused the ground to shake a little, Johann turning to see a large, black lightning erupt skywards from the jungle hinterlands of Tolgalen. This was a more than just rare occurrence indeed, and it left Johann wondering what exactly Cirven was up to again, turning into a stream of wind and air, teleporting the distance to the epicenter of the large explosion, reappearing on a large tree branch before leaning against the enormous tree, staring down at the CEO and the others beneath as they arrived. He smirked a little, knowing that some of them had probably noticed him up there through one way or another, figuring it would be impolite to just stand there before he too shifted into shadow, moving down and appearing behind the others in an instant, the black and red glow slowly retreating from from his left eye, a somewhat peculiar side effect of the rune magic he started using more and more frequently, opening his mouth to speak, answering Yona's question before finishing with a question himself, his eyes moving to the motionless beast nearby. "Is everything in order, or is there a reason for me to worry ?"

Tolgalen's Devil(Black Sails Social, Private) Empty Re: Tolgalen's Devil(Black Sails Social, Private)

Post by Haraka Omaras 5th February 2018, 4:23 pm

It had been three days since the well aged deep sea demon had joined a guild. This was it. After so long, he had finally made a real step on the path to accepting his magic. Maybe one day he could trust himself, or at the least become something a little closer to what he wanted to be when dreams existed in his mind. The last time he had dreams of what to be, he was seven years old. Haraka could remember his young eyes watching a woman with light brown skin and black hair wrap a golden glowing bandage around someones chest. It was a child with a fever, these special bandages started to burn the illness away as soon as it started being wrapped around them. She had been the reason the population was able to survive the terrible fever that had gone around that winter as well as it did. Though she was forgotten by generations and time, there was a magic in his heart within the memory. The want to be able to heal people and treat them, to save lives and make the world better.
Where had those dreams gone? Well, it was something he never stopped wanting to do... but it felt useless for so long. The very idea of him making a positive difference in the world felt laughable at best. If it was so idealistic and unreachable though, he wouldn't be here. Some small part of him still believed that doing good was possible for him, making a positive difference was still possible. A big part of him felt that this was all a big risk, a mistake he had made in researching guilds, a bigger one to actually come to this place and join. What if he does improve his magic, but then becomes corrupted by the want of power? What if he becomes too comfortable with what he was? The last person whom had suggested anything positive about who and what he was that had known his true origins had been gone for a very long time. He had finished putting a glaze on a teapot and getting ready to put it in a kiln with other teapots sitting inside it when something disturbed his thoughts.

Well to be more exact, balls of lightening don't exactly shoot in the sky every day, and he swore that was just what he saw happen outside somewhere. 'What's going on outside?!' His mind raced before abandoning his work, taking off his smog, then running outside. It wasn't like the teapots couldn't wait awhile to be cooked and be made ready for shipment anyway. What was going on? Was anyone hurt? That thought caught him to worry more. He was dressed in his guild uniform, a deep grey dress shirt, a white long dress vest, white trousers he had managed to keep very tidy, the guild pin on his vest, and white dress shoes that were more than likely going to need a good clean later to avoid any staining that running would do to them. Now, where was it shot from, was it this way? He took a guess on the direction, no real certainty within. Even after seeing a small gathering of people, the well aged demon wasn't completely certain it had come from there. Still, this seemed like a good guess? But somehow the situation felt a bi aggressive for him. Maybe he shouldn't really approach yet? Yes, that sounded good to him. Still, a small part of him nagged that it wasn't polite to stare like a weirdo from a slight distance. Also, his constant glow wouldn't exactly let him hide in any kind of situation. At the same time though... he didn't want to really fully approach things yet. "I think I saw something come from this direction go into the sky? Does anyone need medical attention?"

Tolgalen's Devil(Black Sails Social, Private) Empty Re: Tolgalen's Devil(Black Sails Social, Private)

Post by Akeya 8th February 2018, 2:51 pm

Interesting things were occurring. It had turned out that before Akeya had joined Black Sails the guild had suffered an attack, and that there was still a lot of work put into dealing with the aftermath. She didn't know much more than that, unsure how much she could ask without people becoming wary. It wasn't like there was any reason to link the attack to her, but times like these were times where people would be wary and quick to suspect that which they weren't certain of or comfortable with. Nothing that couldn't be resolved, as long as everyone just obeyed the rules of the guild, but still an unnecessary nuisance better left avoided.

As it was Akeya had been spending the short amount of time that she'd been in the guild getting used to the place, memorizing the layout of the main building and moving around in various shapes to also get a lay of the land. Divide Island was a good place to be, with nice weather and a mild climate. On one hand that meant that any form of invasion (like what had just occurred) would primarily be deterred by the sea (which did little for the dedicated attacker) and the guild itself... and what was defended by people could be assaulted and broken by people. Natural hazards were unpleasant to live in, but you couldn't deny their defensive properties against intrusion... But that was Akeya's paranoia talking.

Today she was once again exploring the island, this time flying up in the air as a seagull. On an island like this seagulls were aplenty, so as long as she didn't fly too far from the coast and didn't go too high up in the air there would be no reason for people to be suspicious of yet another seagull... which made it good for scouting the outer layers of the island. Ships, traders, beaches, coasts, trees... There was a lot to be seen, but it looked like all the more intriguing and more important things would be found further inland, where Akeya couldn't go without changing her shape into something less coast-bound.

As she pondered which shape to take to explore the heart of the island she noticed something from the corner of her eye even as she felt a surge of magic power, and she felt the urge to let out a squawk as one might expect from a seagull as something dark and filled with magic energy exploded up in the sky. It was too far away to be a direct threat, but it was still something Akeya had to take note of. She was still new so she couldn't take the task of investigating upon herself, but she highly doubted the rest of the guild would ignore what just happened...

Entering a steady descend Akeya waited until she'd reached the craggy tip of one of the many stone formations that could be found at the edge of the island before she suddenly disappeared, flowing towards the location of the explosion as a shadow which was nothing more than a glimmer under the sun. Once she was under the shade of the trees she moved a lot faster and without having to be worried about being detected, so she sped onwards right up until the point where she felt several sources of magic converging on the same location. Slowing down she stayed at a distance, remaining hidden and suppressing her presence and magic so she could passively observe for now.

There was the strongest source of magic, which she recognized as her new guild master. It matched the sensation of the magic that had been released up into the sky, so that was most likely his doing. However she couldn't figure out why... She'd need more information for that. Amongst the other sources of magic present she only recognized one, the first one to join Cirven. One of the few other dragonkin who was openly known to the world, and one of a more dubious morality than Akeya herself... At least, if the fact that he'd been part of a dark guild in the past was any indication. Although Akeya's main reason for not joining a dark guild was less morality and more that she didn't want to be hunted down whenever she showed her face in public.

The others were all strangers to her, although she thought one or two felt familiar. Encountered in the past, but not actually introduced to or interacted with on any scale beyond minor social interaction. That didn't mean they were unimportant, however: she'd have to learn who they were and memorize their magic so she'd be able to recognize them. Information was one of the most powerful things in the world.

However first of all she'd have to reveal herself, whether she wanted to or not. If she remained hiding like she was now and by some bad luck she happened to be found it'd just make her look suspect, so she'd have to follow through with the plan of acting like the helpful newcomer. Although she didn't want to reveal her own appearance too soon towards anyone aside from the guild master, who already knew it.

Stepping out of the shadows she revealed her magic at a low pitch, hiding the nature to make it appear as something swift and shifty. Resuming her journey towards the centre of the commotion she stepped out onto the small clearing to look at everyone present, eyes shining with curiosity and confusion while taking a relaxed stance.

"Ehm... Excuse me, but is everything all right? I was walking nearby when suddenly there was a surge of magic, so I came to see if anyone was needing help."

    Current Appearance:

Using magic in front of this many people would guarantee that someone unwanted would pick up on it. It was a good thing that her transformations weren't sustained by magic and changed her actual biology, so at least as long as she didn't use magic they wouldn't be able to sense anything off about her. Even her scent wouldn't reveal anything, since a different body produced a different scent. The tricky part was keeping up the deception while still making it clear to Cirven who she was...

"By the way, has anyone seen a very large man who carries around a sword and with lots of scars? He said he'd contact me to show me around but I've yet to hear from him."

...Hopefully that'd do it. Cirven should recognize that description as belonging to Akryn, and if he knew that he could deduce the rest.

Post by Cirven 9th February 2018, 11:28 pm

Cirven's body was sent skidding across the ground from the attack by the giant creature but he managed to roll and catch himself on the side of a tree by his back. The behemoth was large but that did not mean it was slow at all which it shown as it moved quickly towards the devil and brought its claw through the air again, aiming to sever the Guildmaster into two separate pieces. Cirven ducked down below the attack while the claw seemed to give no hesitation as it swiftly went through the tree trunk he had been leaned on. This created an short opening to the beast for Cirven to take advantage of which he tried to gather his magical power into his right arm and attack but nothing happened which left him swinging a regular fist into the creature which dealt little to no damage and the Sabre Toothed Behemoth immediately answered with swinging the back of its paw into Cirven which again sent him into the air but this time into a tree before he could regain his footing. He gasped out in pain as the air was forced out of his lungs from smashing into the tree trunk.

The beast rushed in to attack again but before it could reach a position to attack a assault of shadow magic hit the Behemoth and forced it into submission. After the surprise attack the form of one of the newer and infamous members of the guild, Sol, stood in front of the monster and spoke out about the devil needing help. Cirven chuckled and moved off of the tree trunk. "You might be pretty blind if you think that, dragon. Might want to get your eyes checked." He joked but to the view of those looking at him they would see that his clothes were cut through by large slashes which was the way to see that he had been 'hurt' and healed from it.

More members of the guild showed up in response to the scenario playing out. Most were new members while two of them were the Vice Presidents of the WFTC and the CEO's hands in everything. His two appointed people who were his voice when he wasn't around showed up quickly just like he would have upon hearing or seeing something going on the island, especially after the attack that had recently happened. "Sorry to worry all of you. I was just trying a new spell and it seemed to backfire a bit and my spells are not working right." After he spoke the Behemoth suddenly broke out of the magic surrounding it and roared out angrily towards the group. Cirven chuckled and stepped in front of everyone. "Give me a second to tame this thing." He spoke out and stepped directly in front of the Behemoth that did not move back at all with the devil moving towards it. It instead stared at him giving off a look of the pure angered filled monster that it was. "Sorry about this but you really did not choose the right time to bother me." With his words spoken the beast lunged its head forward with its mouth opened wide in order to take a chunk out of the devil. As its head moved a dark magical power would be felt by those around the devil, including the Behemoth. It would be a familiar dark power to Ruvel from his past being around Cirven when he lost himself to his darker side.

The beast's fangs would stop just before they could snap around Cirven and its head would shift violently to the side and twist until its neck snapped and its neck was twisted completely around multiple times as Cirven's face was covered in a grin that none of those behind him could see. The spectacle did not make any sense at all because Cirven did not move or touch the creature at all but the beast was having its neck rag dolled as if someone was using all of their strength to contort its neck. The beast moved backwards and suddenly its neck was back to normal. "Scared of dying without much explanation, huh? Weird for a creature like you but I showed you just what you feared. Thing you should know is.." Cirven's words ended with him jumping towards the now frightened Behemoth and quickly slashing his hand across the neck of the creature with enough force that multiple trees behind it were cut through. "...Only the top of the food chain get to eat well.." He spoke out as he landed back onto the ground with his clawed hand covered in the Behemoth's blood. The Behemoth took a few seconds to recognize that its neck had been almost removed from its body from the attack and then dropped to the floor while Cirven shook his hand out in front of him in order to get the blood off of it. When he was satisfied by the amount of blood he had removed from his hand he turned around to look at his guild mates showing his eyes were completely orange. "Sorry about that scare. It did surprise me a bit with its attack earlier but now Zinny has a new meal." He looked at his best friend and nodded causing her to slither through the group and by him as she gobbled up the now dead beast.

The CEO closed his eyes for a few seconds and then opened them revealing they were back to their usual duality of color, one red and the other blue. "Thanks for the help guys. We must have gotten some interesting new members in the guild while I was busy, huh?" He pulled off his ripped up shirt and used it to clean the blood on his hand. "One of them smells like a demon of some kind of fish or something. Kind of a gross smell. And this woman..." He smiled towards her as he knew completely who she really was. "Yeah, no worries on meeting your friend. I will show you exactly where he is myself and get us introduced a bit more as we go but before that-" He turned his focus onto the others in the group of showed up. "Nice work on the quick reaction to check out the disruption guys. Looks like that attack has us all on our toes in a good way. Maybe we need a couple more attacks to make sure we just instantly destroy whoever even thinks of attacking us." He smiled showing his shark-like fangs in his mouth showing it was a joke towards everyone in order to get a brighter note of what was going on.

Sol was glad to see Cirven was alright and as he joked at him Sol laughed a little bit.”hey I’m not the one getting Pinballed into trees” he teased before he heard Ruvel approached and seemed rather worried along with Yona approaching as well before she instantly seemed to get cautious of him and was prepped to cast a spell before another member Johann appeared. He instantly dispelled the animosity in the air and Sol bowed to him.”thank you Johann right?.. I’m sorry I figured since it was evening and I was off I was ok to wear casual clothes while Panzer and myself got the lay of the land” he explained with a small smile and rubbed the back of his head sheepishly. He then turned to Yona and bowed to her. "I am Sol Terumi the dragon king it’s a pleasure to meet you“ he said kindly as he metal beast Panzer approached and Sol rubbed the beasts head while it let out a metallic growl of gratitude.

Once Sol felt the dark magic emitting from Cirven he went on guard for a moment untill he saw it was pointed at the behemoth and not himself and he relaxed a bit. Before he watched his guild master rip into the behemoth like it was nothing to him. What put Sol on edge was the blond woman that emerged from the shadows. Despite not knowing the woman her entrance unnerved the dragon king for one good reason in that it instantly reminded him of someone he had recently escaped and knew would want to rip his guts out to decorate her hall. Sol instantly saw an image of Famine before him for a split second and his eyes gain a look of suspicion..”excuse me miss who might you happen to be?” he asked his tone neutral as he spoke.

"Ada... I told you to restock your alcohol before you left... and now look at you! Like a dead fish over the rail of the boat..." A purple exceed groaned at her dragon slayer. The mage in the white and blue trimmed top was just groaning as she was trying to keep her insides where they belonged, not in the ocean. The boat had just docked as it's crew gathered the shipment it was to deliver. While the crew worked, it was taking the mage a while to recover herself when there had been a huge, and black, lightning strike in the air. Adalinda had noticed it, but she was still trying to fight her body off of her weakness. "C'mon Ada... lets get you off the ship... one step at a time..." Tamaria was worried over her. Usually the exceed was worried about her getting in trouble, on occasion starting it. She really hated that she had to be the mage's care giver, which is why she tried to hook her up with someone to help distract her rambunctious friend, just so someone else could keep an eye on her too. When it came to Adalinda's well being, she tried to make sure she was on top of it.

Slowly, the black and blue streak haired mage shuffled off of the boat. The exceed encouraging each step as she stood next to her. Unfortunately, Tamaria had gotten tired and couldn't cary Adalinda all the way across from Fiore to the Divide Islands, and Shellton had been distracted with whatever that he couldn't take Ada himself, thus making the mage face her deadly weakness, with no alcohol. As soon as Adalinda's foot hit the ground, her motion sickness started to let up some. "Yay..." She breathed softly to herself. The cat was staying close and telling her words of encouragement. As she was able to take more steps, the nausea started to drift away into oblivion, and the mage was working on getting into a run, getting farther from the evil contraption that made her feel sick in the first place with Tamaria hanging on her back to keep up with the wild mage. "Let's see what's going on... Hope we're not being attacked already so soon I just joined not too long ago." She had heard about the attack from someone. She didn't remember who anymore. She then grumbles to herself and starts pushing her body harder, feeling herself feel somewhat normal. Or at least as normal as the dragon mage could without any alcohol in her system. She would need to get more soon.

Tamaria was guiding Adalinda better, even though the slayer could smell the area where the lightning seemed to come from. As they got closer, she felt a dark power, and didn't know what to make of it. Still she pushed on. It took her a bit since she was a bit slow while sober, but she made it to where other members of the guild seemed to be at. She paused as she saw the creature near the boss, and blinks. The dark magic she felt earlier was gone, and there was only the guild master near a defeated beast, and the vice presidents, as well as a few other members. She grumbles under her breath about being so late that she didn't get into the action, and cautiously came closer to the rest of the members present. "Sorry... would have come sooner. I was kinda... on a boat. What was that black lightning that had happened?" She questioned anyone who cared to acknowledge her, or answer her. She had an iron kunai in her hand, ready to fight in case there was something that she could join in and help fight along with her guild mates. Tamaria had slipped from Adalinda's back, and stood next to her as she puts her hands on her hips.

Yona relaxed somewhat, observing the others. It was odd for her, considering how social she had seemed to be, but she went quieter. The truth was not that she was social or outgoing, simply that she had such a strong impulsivity that could not be resisted. Yona needed to really work on that. The green haired woman looked at the others with scrutinizing eyes, moving from Sol to each newcomer in turn. There were so many here in so quick a time. Were they really all that concerned for Cirven? What had he done to earn the trust and rampant loyalty that got this kind of response?

The nineteen year old doubted if she would ever illicit such a response from another guild member. Yona lowered her hand and gave a polite head bow in Sol's direction. "Sorry, Mr. Terumi. I have not seen you before. Glad to have all of you around at a moment's notice though." Her voice was lackluster, but her words were obligatorily polite. Yona analyzed the people around her with her green eyes. Who were all the people? She took a few steps back, taking Cirven's word that he was all right. Yona felt wildly out of place here, given that she was no long term member and given that she hadn't worked on much of a relationship with any of the others in the guild itself.

She curled her hands into fists and flexed them back out, noting the crack of her knuckles unbidden. She fidgeted, scratching her head next and then rubbed her arm. Yona sidled closer to Johann, feeling less out of place or awkward besides him. "Well I guess if you're fine, I should just get back to--" Her voice kind of died out. What was she going to tell them the truth? That she was examining a spell book likely protected from being read by someone at her level? That she was planning sweet murderous revenge on someone? Nah, better to just lie and say something better. She finished her comment after the pause, "Back to my walk." Yeah, people walked around, exercised and things. Maybe she should have said training, really made the others believe she was working on important things like that.

Post by Akeya 3rd April 2018, 11:28 am

The woman looked at all the mages present, her visage showing her curiosity and mild awe as it didn't look like she was familiar with a situation like this, surrounded by mages of skill and power. The beast which lay dead on the ground was also new, as most civilians wouldn't dare to hunt something like that. She shot a glance towards the Behemoth even as it was devoured, but quickly her gaze returned to the mages instead, putting her bow back on her back now that it was clear that there was no real threat.

"Oh, I'm no member of the guild, at least not yet. I just happened to be here because my friend invited me. Besides, I doubt I would be of much use against any force which would attack an entire guild." Which wasn't even a complete lie: Akeya wasn't really suited for large scale destruction, so unless a guild was being attacked by a single entity or a few powerful entities it wouldn't really be her cup of tea. As Cirven mentioned that he'd guide her to her friend she smiled gratefully and bowed towards him. "Many thanks sir. I'm glad that everyone here is all right."

When Sol asked about her origins the woman blinked, looking somewhat surprised at the suspicious look in the dragon's eyes. However she rallied herself, smiling and bowing towards him as well. "I am Tya Pulimi. I'm a wandering hunter with some minor magical ability. One of your guild members told me to come and take a look, saying that I should find this island appealing. So far he hasn't been wrong, even if I've been having difficulty finding him." She looked at Sol with curiosity, studying him even if she lacked the suspicious or wary look he was giving her. "Now that you have asked about me and I have answered I'd like to return the question. You look like someone with some fame, but hunters tend to be left out of the loop with who is who in the civilized world." She laughed softly. "Animals don't carry a list of who's who with them."

It definitely felt like they had interrupted something, but enough people were here that it didn't feel rude doing so. The man looked calm while fighting the creature, but it also seemed like he was in total control over the situation. Even when it was angry, furious, the man had total control. It was hard to imagine why else they would seem to so easily speak and think of the group of people popping up and gathering up... while still fighting. It is also why the death of the creature didn't surprise him, though it was certainly brutal. Haraka raised a hand up a bit at the mention of a fish of some kind. He... was probably the closest to a fish of some sort here. At the least, the oceans scent was always there due to the ocean water magic being his base magic, all the other kinds came from elemental spirits. "A large Deep sea mantis shrimp demon, so a crustacean. I'm Haraka Omaras, sir." Might as well avoid being called a fish? Well, his animal wasn't really something to be proud of. Actually, maybe it was better if everyone thought he was a fish demon. That sounds a lot less violent than admitting to be one of the flying massive deep sea monsters that were bad enough as it was without being a demon. What attack had everyone on their toes? Well, something that happened before the young looking demon had joined, likely. Sol seemed to be very at ease with everything, was this not that unusual of an event?

It sounded like someone planned on going somewhere, one of those not yet well known to the demon. Than again, not being well known to a newbie wasn't exactly hard to pull off. Maybe it wasn't to late to sneak back off to finish what he was doing before. Nobody was in danger, nor did anyone actually need medical attention.
