OOC: Filling in for Leonard

IC: Reiki walked out of Magnolia completely and utterly confused. Why exactly it was that Zeno asked him to come help someone from Fairy Tail, he would never know. Though Zeno told him it was a mission, so Reiki could barely complain at all. Reiki was tasked with giving one of the members a B rank exam whilst their guild master was away. Reiki couldn't help but wonder why it was him going, as opposed to someone like Alye who was much more powerful than he was. But again, Zeno ordered it so Reiki couldn't exactly turn down the offer.

Ten minutes later as he walked into the prearranged meeting place, a large clearing in the Eastern Forest of Magnolia, Reiki tried hard to think of a suitable rank up exam for the Fairy mage. Reiki was clueless about rank up exams, seeing as Zeno considered a B rank mage upon his entry to Eclipse Soul.

Before Heero had arrived, Reiki had opened up a container with a large chunk of ice in it. He had already begun nomming upon the ice as Heero stepped out of the bushes and addressed him. "Hello, senior wizard." Reiki turned, the ice hanging out of his mouth as he continued chewing on it as Heero looked at him. An awkward silence occurred between the two, before Heero performed a martial arts bow before speaking to Reiki again. "It's an honor too finally meet someone from my sisters Guild. I hope I show you what Fairy Tail can do."

Sisters guild? Reiki asked with the ice in his mouth, making the question sound distorted. Reiki stared at him for a long time, trying to figure out who this person was related to. .....I don't see a resemblance.... he said, the ice still in his mouth.

ALYE HAS A BROTHER!?! Reiki shouted in shock, dropping the ice from his mouth but catching it in midair. He was surprised, but really couldn't see any resemblance between the two of them. But that was besides the point. Heero was right, it was about him attempting to prove himself as a wizard. Reiki liked his attitude. The two seemed rather similar when he thought about it. Reiki smiled, as he threw the chunk of ice back into his mouth and finished eating it.


He looked at Heero for a few moments before speaking. You can quit it with the senior wizard bull shit. I hate stuff like that. Makes me feel old. Reiki laughed. Anyway, since I know jack about this, just come at me till you're out of breath! Reiki exclaimed, as he slammed his right foot into the ground and pulled it back. He bared his fingers like a wolf's fangs. This was his battle pose. He couldn't think of a better test than just a straight up brawl.

Reiki didn't even bother attempting to block the hook that Heero had thrown at him. Instead he simply grinned as Heero whirled around, kicking Reiki square in the face. He then pummeled his fists into Reiki's stomach, before regaining his footing and delivering quite a powerful uppercut. From the force behind, Reiki could tell that a normal humans neck would have come close to breaking from that. However, Reiki was far from being a normal human.


After the uppercut, Heero aimed to grab Reiki's jacket, which was far from acceptable. Crystalline wings shot forth from a magic circle that appeared on Reiki's back, as a gust of wind from the flap of the wings knocked Reiki away from Heero. As he took to the skys, he watched as Heero pulled out a key and summoned some form of strange creature. The creature launched a large blast of energy towards him in the air. Reiki simply inhaled the air around him, chilling it as he did so. Ice Dragon's... he began chanting, as the blast inched closer and closer. ROAR!! he finished chanting, as he exhaled a large, light blue beam of pure ice magic at the incoming blast. Reiki's Roar was smaller, but the blast from the creature was weaker. The roar tore through the attack and shot straight towards the creature.


I know your jealous of my style but come on, its look don't touch only! Reiki shouted, as he hovered high in the air, awaiting Heero's following onslaught.

Reiki observed as his roar seemed to begin to split around Heero. This was rather strange. As far as Reiki could tell, Heero wasn't a storm mage like his sister; just how was he doing that? Whatever it was, it was really interesting Reiki. Anything pertaining to battle made Reiki look like a genius unlike anything else could. Once the roar had ended, freezing most of the area around Heero, Reiki watched as he pulled out yet another key to summon another odd creature. So he's one of those....uhh.....summoner mages? I think that's what they're called. He hits hard for a summoner type mage... This is getting interesting!Reiki exclaimed.

The being that Heero had summoned began to play notes, as a bunch of feathers began falling around Heero. "Feather Walker!!!" he shouted, before disappearing before Reiki could react. Immediately, Heero's knee was in Reiki's face. Damn the little bastard got quicker! he thought, as Heero continued his assault. Heero zipped down to the ground and back up again, delivering a haymaker to Reiki's face. And the speed sure is helping the strength of his hits! Reiki continued to think, as he was sent flying back by the haymaker.


Heero then zipped around and delivered a kick to Reiki's head, sending him flying down towards the ground as Heero continued to zip around. Reiki watched as Heero came flying towards him, spiraling rapidly to turn his body into a drill. Well it ain't gonna be very fun if I just sit around taking all the hits! Reiki shouted, as he spun around with his wings, pulling back his right arm in the process. Right before Heero reached him, Reiki threw his own punch, colliding with Heero's attempt at another haymaker. The collision sent both flying in the opposite directions, as the wind and dust Heero had whipped up blasted Reiki even further, pushing him to the edge of the massive clearing.


Reiki spun in the air, flapping his wings in the opposite direction of his present travel to regain control. A summoner full of surprises... who would have thought? Reiki chuckled, as he turned to meet three punches, two kicks, and yet another haymaker to send him flying through several trees. As trees fell on top of him, Reiki jumped up, throwing off all the trees but one of them. The last one he held in the air with one arm like it weighed nothing. Not bad, but you're a long ways off from hitting like the Iron Dragon I have to deal with on a daily basis! Reiki laughed, as he began tossing the tree up and down. You've really peaked my interest though! Since you're Alye's brother, I wont beat on ya too much! Reiki shouted to Heero, as his Rainbow Beasts roared at Reiki. He REALLY didn't want Alye mad at him. Just the thought sent quite a chill down his entire spine.

Reiki then pulled the tree back, aiming it straight for Heero. He threw the tree as hard as he could at Heero, using his spinning momentum from the throw to continue launching all the trees Heero sent him through towards the Rainbow Beasts, Heero's key summon, and Heero himself. There were ten trees in total, including the one Reiki first threw. Reiki kept the last one, picking it up and charging towards Heero with it in hand. As his wings boosted his momentum, Reiki swung the tree high overhead before bringing it down on top of Heero's head. His aim was more for Heero's summon, knowing he would want to protect it in order to retain his present speed boost.

Reiki observed as Heero pulled out another key, though this was different. It was bright gold, and summoned forth two very small, bizarre creatures. Heero ordered the creatures to transform into someone named Shuhei, replacing them both with a singular man standing back to back with Heero. Reiki was rather amused by this. He had no idea how the hell any of it worked, but he was still amused by it.

The two then split up as Reiki stood atop the tree had just smashed into the ground. He watched as the being Heero called Shuhei launched an attack of light beams towards Reiki. Reiki simply stood and took the attack as it exploded around him. He noticed something quite different about this attack compared to the hits he had been receiving from Heero. Is this... Dragon Slayer magic? Reiki silently asked himself aloud, slightly cringing at the attack. He wasn't expecting an attack from Dragon Slayer magic. The attack had much more of an impact on Reiki than anything Heero had done; feeling very different from normal magic. Having fought Aian's magic several times, Reiki had learned the difference between a hit from normal and Dragon Slayer type magic.


As Reiki was wondering this, his ears perked up as he heard footsteps charging at him. The explosion of light around him was slightly blinding, but he had far more than just his eye sight. Reiki threw a backhand towards Heero as he attempted to go for yet another uppercut. "Now!" Heero shouted, as Reiki began to assault on Heero. He heard an odd differentiation of noise in the air; something flying at him from the air. Reiki smirked, thinking he had a brilliant plan. He grabbed Heero by his jacket, spinning around and tossing him into the air towards the noise he heard. His plan was successful, to a degree, as Heero collided with "Shuhei." What he didn't expect however, was that "Shuhei's" momentum wouldn't be hindered by this, as Reiki was now colliding with the two of them, creating a small-medium sized crater in the ground.

As the dust whipped up from the crater, the two jumped out of it and stood at the edge, awaiting Reiki's response. What they got were a series of various noises. The first was the shattering of ice, which was Reiki's wings breaking into thousands of tiny shards. The second, was the furious roar of a dragon. This was something Reiki had been practicing doing a lot; being able to imitate the ferocious roaring sound of an angry dragon. It was quite useful for scarring away lesser foes. It also helped with instilling even a slight amount of fear in anyone who heard it, battle hardened or not.


The next sound heard was that of shotguns being loaded and pumped. Then, Reiki leaped out of the crater, both of his hands coated with a raging, phantasmal like flame. This however wasn't a flame at all. It was simply a raging aura of ice, containing a burning cold within it. Reiki was headed straight for the one Heero called Shuhei, slamming his right fist directly at Shuhei's stomach. Then the sound of a shotgun firing off ripped through the forest around them, as 9 icicles shot forth from Reiki's fist, either point blank or at a dodging Shuhei.

Without waiting a moment, Reiki kicked off the ground towards the other side of the crater, aiming his left fist at Heero's face. As he threw the punch, the same sound was repeated, but something was different. The icicles shot forth from Reiki's left elbow instead, shooting off into the complete opposite direction; regardless of whether his fist landed into Heero or not. Damn, still can't use both for an attack yet... Reiki sighed disappointingly as he landed on the ground, shaking his left arm around. Reiki was beginning to forget this was a simple examination. He was beginning to treat this as if it were a real battle.


As he stared at his left arm, he noticed his skin was a little darker and it slightly burned. The attack from Shuhei earlier had apparently given Reiki a slight bit of a tan. Huh.... well that's different...

Heero leaped away, somehow unintentionally ending up in the path of the icicles that had shot out of Reiki's elbow. He then began building up energy around him. Looks like he's wearing down. He's breathing heavily and trying to use a big attack for a finisher. Reiki thought, as he ignored Shuhei charging at him. Reiki ducked, as Shuhei proceeded to fly over top of him. He then grabbed onto Shuhei's leg and tossed him over next towards Heero. Ya know, you're lasting a lot longer than those other summons he brought out. You're annoying the crap out of me... Reiki muttered, as Shuhei began to inhale deeply.


He then exhaled a large laser into the sky like an artillery strike. Reiki wasted no time, rushing down Shuhei as soon as he exhaled it into the air. Reiki leaped forward, grabbing Shuhei's head with his right hand as he did. Using this momentum, he slammed Shuhei down into the ground as hard as he could. The laser launched was blocked by his hand, which now had minor first degree burns on it. Reiki simply focused his magic into his right hand, cooling it down and easing the pain. Well that deals with that. Should be fine by tonight. Now then... Reiki muttered, turning his attention to Heero.


At this point, Heero was glowing gold, continuing to build up a massive amount of energy. Reiki simply smirked at the sign of this. He told Heero to come at him until he was out of breath; seemed like this would probably be it. Alright then, let's see what this does shall we? Reiki exclaimed, as he dug his feet into the ground hard. He then threw his hands above his head, forming a crystal blue magic circle above him. He then threw his arms down, as the magic circle shot down over his body. After it did, what stood before Heero didn't even look like Reiki any more. He was coated in a solid armor of ice, designed in a way to make him look like his father who had raised him. Reiki now looked like a humanoid dragon, as he stared down Heero from the eyes of a dragon. Alright, lets see how ya do against this!!!!

Reiki stomped his way forward out of the explosion, his armor cracked in several places but still intact. As he made his way closer to the now weak Heero, he had quite the smirk plastered upon his face. Damn that was something! Keep practicing that you might be able to break my armor some day! Reiki exclaimed, as he approached Heero. He knelt down, placing his arm on Heero's shoulder. Welcome to the world of B rank mages. You better not let me done on this! he smiled. Before Heero could even respond, Reiki turned what was a cheerful gesture into the final blow. He slammed his hand into the side of Heero's neck, knocking him out completely.

As he threw Heero over his shoulders, he cringed a bit from the pain on his right hand. He was super cooling it, but grabbing a laser beam still fricken hurt. This kid was a pain in the ass just at C rank..... Can't wait for a rematch once he's stronger. Reiki laughed, as he slowly carried his fellow mage back to Fairy Tail; completely ignoring the destruction they had both caused to the surrounding area. Heero had earned the title of B rank in Reiki's eyes, he just hoped Heero wouldn't disappoint his decision.
