After taking into consideration the opinions of the members on site, stats are now an optional for magic.
However if you do use them you will still be graded accordingly to the current stat rules! ❤  

• Additional spell slots have been altered so rather than having to purchase five for each of your magics, you can now purchase all fifteen to distribute as you please. For example, if I were to only have one magic and purchased all fifteen of my available spell slots then I'd be able to distribute all those spell slots into my primary magic alone etc.
• Normal spell rank limits have been increased to accommodate the change. This is because the limits as they allowed for an unfair advantage in those who had three magics' favour I.E. someone who had three magics would still be able to have more S-Rank spell slots than those who had only one magic because the maximum is three per magic. With the new idea for spell slots, those who want to focus only on one magic can do so in a much more equal environment (because they won't exceed their maximums without being able to even use their slots). The new maximums have all been increased by three (except for H-Rank spells) and are as follows.
— D-Rank: 0-23
— C-Rank: 0-18
— B-Rank: 0-13
— A-Rank: 0-8
— S-Rank: 0-6
— H-Rank: 1 (unchanged).
• The Magic Shop has updated it's prices to reflect the old system whereby each spell slot now costs a different amount rather than a fixed cost (for any slot at 40k) due to the increased number of spell slots one can by for any magic that they choose (this change won't affect anyone whom has already purchased spell slots). The new prices are as follows:
— D Rank Spell Slots: 15,000 Jewels.
— C Rank Spell Slots: 30,000 Jewels.
— B Rank Spell Slots: 60,000 Jewels.
— A Rank Spell Slots: 100,000 Jewels.
— S Rank Spell Slots: 200,000 Jewels.
• With the popular majority going in favour of returning the scoreboard, staff are working on retrieving and revitalizing the system and will have it up at the end of the month on the 30th! The delay is to promote continuity and have scoreboards operate within a month's cycle (rather than having it start right away).
 

• Secondary and Tertiary Magic Approval Thread has been archived.
• Primary Magic Approval Thread has been changed to "Magic Approval Thread" for all magics to be placed in since no one seems to use the other thread anyways. Especially since all magics are considered full magics now and there's no real difference between a primary and secondary.
• Please proceed to place any magics you have for review in the Magic Approval Thread.
 

• Going forward, all jobs will follow the requirements and rewards listed in the job and experience table. If the job you're currently doing does not go by these rules and you notice this mistake then please remember that you're only asked to abide by the rules we've laid out (which I've linked). I'll get round to editing the jobs eventually but understand, there's a lot of them and (though it may be a surprise), I have a smol life.
 

• The Lacrima Net has been added! This is where you may carry out the social media threads you guys have been longing for, let's finally put these iLacs to good use!
• Please defer all questions you might have to the rules and guidelines we've provided here.
 

• Additional information has been added on the concept of benefit levels and how to use them in your magic. You can find the additional information here under "types of magic." Credit to Johann for the superb explanation.
 

• Additional clarification has been added regarding Takeover melee damage and can be found here under "melee damage (clarification)".
• Base character speeds have been converted to metric units (mps) as opposed to mph. You can find this change here in the Character Stats table.
• Unique Abilities have acquired additional information clarifying that the abilities your character possesses will eventually cap at S-Rank meaning they can rank up no further from that point. This has been added here under unique abilities and titled as "additional information".
• More information on how "statless" magic (which is optional) will be added to the rules soon!
