Warlords of Fiore are infamous figures in Earthland. They earned this title through wicked acts that are unspeakable. Whether they are known for assassinations, organized crime, unorganized crime, wars, combat prowess, or just being a scumbag ... these Warlords are the epitome of evil. Nobody in their right mind would want to challenge them as they are known for not only their evil capabilities but also their combat prowess.
To create an incentive for dark mage positions, we have introduced "Warlord Items." These items are a set of unique items and one item can be claimed per Warlord. Warlords cannot have the same item and they are first come first serve.
You must apply for the position that you want, if the staff does not feel you are responsible enough or active enough to uphold the position, your application will not be accepted. If you are inactive for two weeks without notice, you will receive a warning PM to become active or you will lose the position. If you do not do so within a week your position will be stripped and/or handed to someone else. If a PM is not sent on time, you have one week from the time the PM is sent to comply instead. In order to be considered active, it is expected to post at least once every few days. While on inactivity probation it is expected you post at least once every other day over a one week period in order to be considered active again. Long periods of no posting, such as two weeks of inactivity, will result in a warning being given out. Those on hiatus have 3 months before being considered inactive, and their position will automatically be stripped from them should they not post/post sporadically within that time. To hold a Warlord position it is expected that you retain a consistent level of activity.
All positions will have a 24hr wait period from when they first reopen to the next day, and any applications thereafter can be dismissed.
This is reserved for the fallen, and for those who have proven themselves time and time again to the evil side but are no longer capable of being a mage on this list.

- Bow of Shadows - Unclaimed:
Name:
Bow of Shadows
Rank:
Unique Weapon
Type:
Bow
Melee Damage:
30 HP
Durability:
300 HP
Description:
The bow of shadows is an elusive weapon, black as the deepest of nights, seemingly shrouding itself and its user in an aura of darkness that appears to cling to their form, leaving a trail of pure shadow behind with its or its user's every move. It is rumored that this weapon was created personally by a powerful Warlord of an age long gone, a man who had ruled over large parts of Earthland with an iron fist. Some sources even go as far as stating that, under the man's reign, the sun would never shine upon his land, and that the darkness would reign with terror, fear, and death. Still, the bow is tangible, and requires considerable dexterity to wield, only offering its powers to those who shroud their hearts in a darkness that is similar to the nature of this weapon. The Bow of Shadows is able to materialize its projectiles, arrows of a similar hue to the weapon itself, from seemingly thin air and fire them rapidly, able to, despite the nature of the weapon, lay down overwhelming firepower and deal extensive damage utilizing the darkness and shadow controlled by the ancient artifact.

Name: Piercing Darkness
Rank: A+
Type: Single Target, Piercing
Damage: 150 HP
Range: 450 m
Speed: 450 m/s
Duration: 1
Description: The user summons an arrow of pure darkness and notches it, drawing the string back wide before firing the projectile at a single enemy within the spell's range with extreme energy, dealing 150 HP in damage. Type: Multi Target, Paralysis
Damage: User Rank Multi Target Damage
Range: User Rank Multi Target Range
Speed: User Rank Multi Target Speed
Duration: 2
Description: The bow is surrounded in an aura of ink-black, swirling darkness, almost reminiscent of charcoal smoke in appearance, coalescing within the weapon as the user draws back the string of the bow, a flickering arrow of pure darkness appearing, already notched and ready to fire. Upon releasing the arrow, the projectile splits into several strings of darkness that shoot forward, targeting a group of enemies or a single enemy, piercing the targets with corrosive ferocity, dealing user rank multi target damage per hit (A: 75 / S: 90). If struck by this darkness the intense onslaught of energy poisons the affected foe, the veins around the affected tissue bulging out and turning black, intense pain paralyzing the opponent for their next post.
Name: Calling of an Endless Night

Type: Single Target, Burst
Damage: User Rank Damage
Range: User Rank Single Target Range
Speed: User Rank Single Target Speed
Duration: 1

The user needs only notch and fire it at a target or an area within the spell's range, letting go of the projectile before it shoots forward, flying towards the target or target area before finally exploding in a massive burst of dark energy. This burst has User Rank burst range and speed and deals user rank damage (A: 100 / S: 120 / H: 140) to anyone caught within the explosion of corrosive darkness.
- Apocrypha of Obscurity - Unclaimed:
Name:
Apocrypha of Obscurity
Rank:
Unique Weapon
Type:
Tome
Melee Damage:
N/a
Durability:
300 HP
Description:
A book of most intricate binding and design. Not much is known about its contents or where it came from, though one thing is beyond certain: The tome, containing a language that all who try to read it will not understand, is ancient and contains an enigmatic magical power that is sealed behind intricate runes and sigils. It is said that the Apocrypha was written by and once belonged to a powerful archmage who wielded magic like no other before, easily subjugating entire armies with nothing but his overwhelming magical presence, but grew hungry for more and more magical power, going to great lengths to expand his control of the unknown. In the end, it is believed that the archmage was corrupted by his own hunger for more and more power, a lust for dominance that drove him to do unspeakable things in the pursuit of his goal, until eventually, he was consumed by the very power he had sought so desperately. How exactly is unknown, what is certain, however, is that the archmage left behind some of his power in this tome, the one who holds it, by extension, able to wield this immense power, though not without cost. Rumor has it that studying the contents of the Apocrypha will leave those who dare venture this far insane, they, too, consumed by their lust for power.
Abilities:
Name: Biased Judgement
Rank: H++
Type: Single Target, Burst
Damage: 420 HP
Range: 1,600 m
Speed: 1,600 m/s
Duration: 1
Downside: Can only be used by H rank mages and only once per thread
Description: Uttering an incantation, the tome begins to glow with dark energy, lifting itself up in the air before opening, beginning to flick through the pages laced with glowing scripture wildly before finally turning to face an enemy or area within the spell's range. Dark magical energy briefly swirling around the tome, the Apocrypha begins to collect power briefly before firing a beam of the same energy at the target. As soon as this beam of pure energy makes contact, it will release all of its power into a massive explosion, the burst of flame, heat, and pressure destroying everything within 1,000 meters of the explosion's epicenter, traveling out at 800 meters per second, dealing the spell's damage to everyone and everything caught within the burst. Additionally, those caught within this attack, should they survive it, will experience immense trauma, paralyzing them for their next post.
- Darksteel Talons - Unclaimed:
Name:
Darksteel Talons
Rank:
Unique Weapon
Type:
Claws
Melee Damage:
30 HP
Durability:
300 HP
Description:
A weapon better suited for a feral beast than a mage, not lacking in brutality and viciousness. How this weapon functions and how it is used is an enigma to all but the user, who has full control over what is believed to be a curse. Rumor has it that the curse, represented by a small mark on either one or both of the wielder's hands, was placed on the original wielder of the cursed mark, a serial killer who, in fits of psychopathy and derangement, would murder his unprepared victims with the ferocity of a wild animal by one of his victims, a mage who, uttering his last dying breath, sought to punish the murderer for his actions. Through the curse, the man would gradually transform into a beast, shunned by society to be seen as the monster he truly was, until eventually, he would vanish, disappearing from the face of Earthland without a trace. What is left, however, is the curse that allows the one who acquired it to take on some of the beastly properties of the man, gaining incredible strength as well being able to, at will, transform their hands and arms into those of a monster, their fingers shifting into long, sharp claws, harder than any metal and easily able to slice through most materials with relative ease. It is said, however, that those who hold this curse will, too, turn more beastly and ferocious as time goes on, but who can truly know besides the wielder of the curse?
Abilities:
Name: Strength of Twilight
Rank: User Rank Advanced (Up to H+)
Type: Passive
Description: Regardless of whether the curse is activated or not, the user is passively strengthened by the magic that accompanies it, granting them a buff to strength equivalent to a passive advanced buff of their rank (A+: 90% / S+: 95% / H+: 105%).
Name: Claw of the Accursed Hunter
Rank: User Rank Advanced (Up to H+)
Type: Multi Target, Drain
Damage: User Rank Advanced Multi Target Damage + 50%
Range: Melee Range
Speed: Melee Speed
Duration: 10
Downside: Has a cooldown of 5 posts
Description: The bearer of the mark activates the curse placed upon them, one or both of their hands transforming into long, sharp talons, darkness and cursed energy swirling around them. The user can use these claws to strike within melee distance at the character's speed, dealing advanced multi target damage equivalent to the user's rank + 50% with every strike of the cursed weapon (A+: 169 / S+: 202 / H+: 237) in addition to this weapons base damage. This damage is classed as melee damage and is thus affected by melee damage buffs instead of spell damage buffs. Additionally, those struck by the claws will feel their life force siphoned from them for the duration of the spell, losing 5% of their HP every turn. Every time an enemy loses HP this way or is damaged by the claws, the wielder of this weapon is healed by the amount of HP equivalent to the amount of HP lost by enemies.
- Aegis of Purgatory - Claimed by Trinity:
Name:
Aegis of Purgatory
Rank:
Unique Armor
Type:
Armor Set
Damage Reduction:
50 HP
Durability:
500 HP
Description:
An obscure piece of equipment generously decorated with finely crafted ornaments, visually better suited for a ceremonial piece rather than an actual armor. Still, for reasons unknown, the armor is strangely practical, even superior to similar pieces of equipment crafted by regular means. This has led to rumors that this armor, formerly in the possession of a warmongering noble, has been crafted in hell itself, turning the one unfortunate enough to wear it into a demon of bloodshed, fighting without remorse or mercy, even normally fatal wounds not stopping the bearer. It is said that its former owner, a nobleman from Minstrel, made a pact with the devil, selling his soul and receiving the Aegis in return. The man was power-hungry and intelligent, his cunning only surpassed by his prowess on the battlefield, and with his newfound might, he planned to overthrow the king of Minstrel himself to claim the position as his own. The plot, however, was discovered, and the king sent out his armies to defeat the rebellious noble, the two sides clashing on the battlefield. It is rumored that the noble's inferior army was quickly routed and defeated, most of the mercenaries he had hired fleeing the battlefield, though, still, the man would not give up his goal. When everyone else had fled, the only soldier still fighting was the nobleman himself, clad in an armor that made him appear like a ferocious monstrosity, and every time someone struck him, his wounds would heal immediately, the man brutally murdering all who stood on his way. It is said that, in the end, he had killed over 100 knights before he could be wrestled down and restrained, captured alive and brought before the king, who sentenced him to death. Still, the nobleman only laughed, and as much as the followers of the king would try to take off the cursed armor the noble had sold his soul for, removing it seemed impossible. It was this fact that prompted the other nobles of Minstrel to declare that the man, for his crimes and his heresy, would be burned at the stake, still trapped inside the demonic armor. Though it is written that, while the noble was burned under howls of madness and pain, the armor would stay intact, not even so much as scratched by the flames, leaving one to wonder about the true nature of the Aegis.
Abilities:
Name: Infernal Protection
Type: Passive
Description: The Aegis of Purgatory is made from a lightweight, flexible black metal that, contrary to what one might assume when wearing it, extremely durable. The armor grants its wearer a passive 25% buff to both magical and physical damage reduction. The difference to normal increases of similar nature, however, is that this ability, when combined with other sources of damage reduction, can push the bearer of the armor up to a total of 75% for both magical and physical damage reduction respectively.
Name: Demonic Regeneration
Type: Passive
Description: Along with its protective properties, the armor is additionally infused with ancient magic, granting it considerable regenerative capabilities. The one wearing the armor will find that, passively, their wounds will heal quicker and their magical power will be reinforced, granting them a 5% regeneration effect to both MP and HP once every post that functions independently from regular HP and MP regeneration effects and, when combined with other sources of regen, can push the bearer to a total of 20% HP regen and 10% MP regen per post, not counting towards the regular limit.
Name: Vanguard of Hell
Rank: User Rank Advanced (Up to H+)
Type: Single Target, Defensive
Durability: 500 HP
Range: Self
Speed: Self
Duration: 10
Downside: Can only be used once per thread
Description: Activating this ability, the bearer of the Aegis of Purgatory is surrounded by roaring flame bursting from the armor, forming around their form a protective layer of blue hellfire. The hellfire can burn away ethernano and magical power with ease, taking up to 500 HP in damage before breaking. Even if destroyed, the protective layer of hellfire restores itself at the beginning of every turn for the duration of the ability as it is recast, the ability itself not breaking. The shield cannot be pierced by spells and abilities that contain piercing effects.
- Calamitas, Angel of Obliteration - Unclaimed:
Name:
Calamitas, Angel of Obliteration
Rank:
Unique Summoning Key
Type:
Summon
Melee Damage:
75 HP
Summon HP:
600 HP
Duration:
15
Description:
Calamitas is a creature truly fitting the definition of abomination, a creature that should not exist, yet, through mankind's sins and misdeeds, has been given existence, forever cursed to fulfill the purpose of its creation in contradiction to nature and it's laws. Not much is known how this monstrosity came to be, though as legend has it, the "Angel of Obliteration", as it has been dubbed by myths and stories across Earthland, was created by a man driven mad by his hatred for the world. The man, formerly a scientist from Bosco, is said to have been mistreated by fate, his experiments and creations laughed at and ridiculed amongst both the public and scientific community of the technologically adept nation for incorporating magic in his studies, even relying on the somewhat enigmatic resource. His research thus, despite being brilliant, innovative, perhaps even revolutionary, never gained much attention, and so, his frustration, with each passing year, grew stronger and stronger, until one day, he snapped and decided to pay back what he had been given. For months, he focussed all his genius into one eccentric experiment, creating a being of pure magical power, capable of destroying even Bosco's most advanced technological advancements. Still, in the end, the man never got a chance to use his creation, succumbing to his madness and taking his own life, though not before binding the entity he had created to an ominous, black key, which, shortly after his death, vanished mysteriously and without a trace.
Abilities:
Name: Aura of Annihalation

Description: Calamitas not only possesses the capabilties to annihalate matter, but can also destroy energy. Once per post, if a spell is cast within user rank advanced single target range, Calamitas can move to intercept it, raising a hand. The spell seems to disintegrate entirely, turning into dust, regardless of its make up, before vanishing from existence entirely. Only S rank or lower spells can be disintegrated this way, and only if Calamitas' summoner pays MP equal to the amount of MP spent to used to cast the spell being negated this way. Once a spell has been successfully negated, Calamitas' absorbs some of the magic power used to cast the spell, restoring 5% MP to its summoner.
Name: Shards of Destruction
Rank: User Rank Advanced (Up to S+)
Type: Multi Target, Debuff, Counter
Damage: User Rank Advanced Multi Target Damage
Range: User Rank Advanced Multi Target Range
Speed: User Rank Advanced Multi Target Speed
Duration: 10
Downside: Can only be used once per summon. Calamitas must be desummoned before this ability can be used again.
Description: Calamitas channels its powers as the Angel of Obliteration, enabling it to, for the duration of the spell, freely fire beams of pure destructive power within user rank advanced multi target range at user rank advanced multi target speed. These beams explode forcefully when coming into contact with matter, annihilating everything within 5 meters of the epicenter of the impact for user rank advanced multi target spell damage (A+: 113 / S+: 135). Those struck will find themselves suffering from severe injuries as their bodies are partially ripped apart, decreasing the effectiveness of the affected opponents healing spells by 50%, lowering their speed by 50%, and reducing the effectiveness of their regeneration effects by 50% for the duration of this ability.
