… Ehhhhh, things were getting comedic now. Apparently, his throne-like role and behavior with the tanuki had now given him the title ‘Iza’s Throne’, specifically given to him by the pranking shapeshifter. Then again, she got a point if you would look at how he functioned as a literal throne for the tanuki right now, and it wasn’t as if he minded at all. Based on his views on Jiyu’s attempts on mimicking the fluffy hat, she couldn’t really make fun of the scene, could she? With that in mind, he chuckled a little by her comment and took another bite of the velvet cake. It was, clearly, under very strange circumstances that he met the tanuki Guildmaster for the first time, and thus, strange things followed up afterwards. And he had a feeling that even stranger things would approach him in the future.

Hikari had joined him, greeting the shaman ever so gently. He smiled back at his previous kouhai and replied: “Hey, Hikari. Enjoying the snacks, I hope?” She appeared to have been doing fine since last time that he met her, so worries aside, it was great to see her again. Jiyu, a moment after, had instantly assumed that Mythica was closer to Mura than just a nice, relatable comrade whom he had shared a fair couple of missions’ splendid adventures with, in which he began blushing softly. “…” He did realize that it was, perhaps, just a joke, and that commenting it wouldn’t really make any change or effect, in which he decided to ignore the joke; especially since she already got him before. However, his facial expression said it all; the vein combined with the heat that travelled across his face was a clear and easy-to-read code. He was convinced that Jiyu was quite the playful, perhaps childish type given by her actions, but it brought joy to him. It wasn’t disliked at all. “Yeah… fluff…” he mumbled whilst taking bites from the cake. It had a very cooling, fruity touch to the tongue, it brought not a bomb of aromas to his sense of taste, but rather soothed his troubles and nerves for a brief moment. “It has one, very good spice. You should try some,” the shaman suggested to her, even gesturing an untouched piece of his own cake if she was that eager to try.

Some more people began to enter the hall, one being his freaking idol. His eyes widened once again, just like back at the previous party, looking over at Ardere as he entered. “Ardere..!” he spoke up as he waved over at the Midian God Slayer, “Hey there, bro! Remember me? We-We kind of met a while earlier..!” his eyes began shining like stars by the very sight of this legend, his entire face screaming ‘I just met my goddamn role model’…

Post by Jiyu Kazehime 15th October 2017, 1:18 pm

If Izayuki noticed it, then it was no longer an attempt Jiyu had accomplished her goal of being her game loving rash self and livening up part of the party. Kazehime quirked an eyebrow at the first appearance of the glowing blue summons, arms held out towards either side of her, one leg bent backward slightly, her head cocking to the side as her tail made a near question mark symbol with its bend. The female couldn't wait to see what was going to happen, of course, she also had the sinking feeling it would be at her expense, but when one considered the species currently present here it was nothing shocking at all. Plus she did already know her Guild Master's reputation, while she respected the silver-furred female as an alpha, Jiyu knew that hers was much less serious and rigid than most, it was another thing that made being part of the guild so much fun.

Laughter was instant and honestly, it didn't even seem as if she tried to dodge or get away from them, it was all in fun, she may as well take her portion of it like the partial trickster she was as a vengeance spirit. "Oh, now it's just getting started you little fluff ball!" it was a roar of laughter her words came out in as she lifted her hand feebly instructing the wind to go after her Guild Master, to attempt tickling the wizard saint in rebuke for the tickling she was receiving. Which one of them would bulk and cry uncle first?! Kazehime had no intention of being the one to say the tickle torture was too much for her, she would outlast the higher ranked mage, somehow, plus the sound of laughter in the hall was likely lighting the whole mood of everything up which was far better than super formal things.

She couldn't see her, but the scent that drifted in was one that she knew so to speak, even if it had changed slightly, Leila still had habits like melon eating that tipped Jiyu off, her mind short-circuiting when the tickling hit her rib cage. The Inugami was literally rolling in the air, the blue floating animals relentless in their attack. Then she went back to the melon eating girl, she was stretching on a limb, but to her anyone who went for melons instead of pumpkin at an event like this, had to be the eden goddess. "Leila?!" it was high pitched, almost a squeal, her body flipping over again as she refused to admit her guild master summon assault was too much, looking a wreck as her short white dress rode up with her movement making it look more skimpy than it had as the start of the event. Her cruel and unusual punishment would not break her, she had endured far worse! "Leila, Come On, Where Are You, Only You Would Go For Melons At An Event Like This, I Damn Well Know You're Somewhere In This Room, Do I Have To Track You Down?" once more her laughter broke the sentence several times and every word was a little more animal than the voice she normally used to speak considering less of her mind was put towards hiding the fact she was a dog.

When mura offered her food? She took a small piece of it, of course, she couldn't bother with silverware, she never had and it was something many friends scolded her on. "Mm, which one is this? I think this won't kill me." she chuckled slightly, giggling in little fits as she had yet to swat away her tickling buddies, she would be damned if she seemed weak through the bodily sap it was having on her was beginning to become evident, a normal person would just laugh but it looked like this was an intense work out for the wind user, which it was considering it made her entire weakened body shake. "Oh hey, I remember you." she couldn't finish having to laugh again and flip once but not move away from the little blue glowing thingies. "We were both there when that village was attacked. I never got to formally introduce myself back then, I'm Jiyu." and she seemingly could not stop laughing now.

Post by Ruvel 15th October 2017, 1:34 pm

Ruvel got startled as he heard a voice behind him calling out a person's name it was louder than the music and he was standing right by the instruments. "What the hell?" he muttered his eyes looking around trying to find what exactly was going on "Ardere?" he whispered to himself unsure who it was but they seemed to be some sort of big deal 'Shindara, do you have any information?' he sent to his summon who had looked around the room 'He would be the one that is dressed a little like yourself our summoner. He is a highly revered warrior and the guild master to a prominent legal guild named infinity Hydra.' Shindara sent to Ruvel, where it was true the summon could see everything with no way to turn it off he never shared such information, the information he had shared is what he had learned while they where travelling or within the guild itself. Hearing the information made the youth nod as he took it in 'I would hazzard a guess that he knows teacher.' he added Ruvel's hand went to his head as he rubbed the back of head a little "Would stand to reason, they're both guild masters and likely came up in the ranks together." he said with a slight smile as he headed over trying to be confident and interact with people.

He stopped looking at the male who looked like he had met some sort of divine being and waved his hand in front of his face, it wasn't to be rude or anything but more to snap him back into reality. "Um... are you alright?" he asked the black haired male, he really was hoping that he was okay but with the group that was there at current and who knew what kind of drinks it was hard to say for certain. "Where are my manners..." he placed his left hand to his chest and bowed forward slightly it wasn't quite the bow he was raised with but he refused to truly bow to anyone so this was a happy medium where he could still show respect while not showing full submission. "My name is Ruvel, I work for West Fiore Trading Company." he said finally introducing himself to the others.

He found himself wondering about the star struck younger male and what the elder male had done that was so note worthy. "I.. I'm not meaning to be rude or anything but..." he seemed nervous as he looked between them both "What has you so starstruck?" he asked his face and eyes showed true innocence in the matter as he looked to the elder male unsure what to make of him, he could only sense one of four kinds of magic and the warrior had none of them but still he could feel the strength emanating from him making him wonder where it came from, it was either that or he was getting stronger in his sensory but he doubted it was that.

A solemn moment of peace and drinking was quickly interrupted by the somewhat annoyingly loud and pitched voice that seemed to echo through this place more than it should have, even forcing the girl's animal ears to twitch a number of times in discomfort. Furthermore, there was a good moment when she was just simply staring into the crowd with a dumbfounded expression as she saw Jiyu being tickled by another being? Well... she certainly was social, wasn't she? So much was to be expected from a role model like her. With a sight and after wiping the theoretical sweat drop over her head, she once again indulged herself in the drink, only to blink and see something a little bit unpleasant on the other end of her table. It probably wasn't really noticed by anyone, but blue ethernano that could be barely sensed started gathering over one of the free chairs and soon took on a very familiar shape of the true Eden's goddess called Aurora. The girl that spoke in Leila's head not too long ago was not thusly sitting comfortably on the other end of the table with one leg over the other, her left hand supporting her face as she leaned to the side with a wicked smile. It was a little annoying, but there was a good number of summons in Leila's possession that were powerful enough to force open their gates and enter this realm on their own accord and sometimes even against the summoner's wishes. Among them was Lisette, Yuki, Libra and finally Aurora, who was arguably stronger than Leila herself. At least when it came down to the pure amount of magical power in one's body and the fact that she was the person who created Gardens of Eden.

"Don't you hear? She's calling you. Are you sure you shouldn't go greet her, maybe pull her down onto the ground and tear that awful dress from her? If I recall from your memories, she never wore more than-"

"It's fine. A little bit more, and the stench will stick to me for the rest of the evening. She hates it."

Interrupting her goddess, Leila would answer as she looked down at the glass of whiskey in her hand, tilting it to the side and back few times to force the liquid from its static state before drinking another dose of it. From the point of an outsider, she probably appeared as an alcoholic to a degree, considering she already finished one glass before. There were many feelings inside of the girl that she still had no hold of. Feelings that made her unsure of her own path. And there was a good chance she would never really figure them out, as emotions were extremely complex things that often had no concrete solution. Whether that would drag her to the bottom forever more yet had to be decided.

"Not when the smell is on a certain wild animal, apparently. You've still not figured out what happened to him, have you?"

"No. And frankly, I don't quite care. Dead or just running away, the matter of the fact is that not many seem to even remember him at this point. My connection to Eden might have been restored, but I'm still far away from having enough power to face something strong enough to cause that."

The smile she carried not long ago quickly transformed into an annoyed sigh as the goddess started looking around and quickly grabbed for a plate that held a chocolate cake on top of it. It looked like even a being that could be compared to a celestial spirit had an appetite when it came down to delicious looking meals. Well, that much was quite obvious, considering Leila was eating on regular basis and their origin was exactly the same. Though as she was moving it toward her, she noticed something different that captured her attention even more. What she moved right in front of her was a chocolate pizza. A sight that made the Eden's caretaker move her plate of finished melon slices to the side, as she was probably done eating for at least a little while.

"Earthland is quite strange, isn't it..."

So you can throw me to the wolves
    Tomorrow I will come back
    Leader of the whole pack
    Beat me black and blue
    Every wound will shape me
Every scar will build my throne

Letting some of the cool punch run down his throat, Ardere noted they had thrown quite the hodge podge of flavored alcohol into it. He was no expert on the matter, but it was still pretty tasty nonetheless. After sharing a quick conversation with his phoenix companion, it was now that he noticed the arrival of a mildly familiar Fairy Tail mage introducing himself. The fire mage was generally good at recognizing people, but this was the first to step forward tonight. Oh hey. Nice to see you. Seems they even invited Fairy Tail out here. He seemed to have the habit of meeting other guild mages at parties, but perhaps that was not a bad thing. It was always nice to see an aspiring wizard, especially one with a good energy. So many mages here. Who hadn't been invited? He was half expecting all of the mages in Fiore to show up. Not that it would be a bad thing though. The guild master hadn't taken the time to socialize and let loose at an event in quite some time. The stress physically and mentally had taken its toll. Fighting demons and dragon kings warranted some relaxation every once in a while.

Another familiar presence arrived, one he remembered from a chaotic time. Nice to formally meet you Jiyu. Fortunately we have the pleasure of meeting on more peaceful circumstances this time. The Fire King was no stranger to rushing to the rescue of those in danger, but he was not alone in this endeavor. Jiyu was a mage in his daughter's guild, one he did not know very well, but still recognized to an extent. The other man introducing himself had a familiar scent, but it was not one he really recognized. The man would then reveal to be a member of the West Fiore Trading Company, which would explain the familiarity. Nice to meet you Ruvel, I'm Ardere. Guild master of Infinity Hydra. I know your master fairly well. It's a pleasure. Cirven and Ardere were both members of the secret group known as the Paragons, both of which being prominent mages in the country. This Ruvel had quite the unique presence about him, one that made him wonder.

Hmm. So far no one suspicious had made their presence known yet, and the party was a success. Ardere stayed reserved, conserving his energy in case he needed it later. For now, he was enjoying himself. Sipping some more punch, he was getting a bit of a buzz, but the heavyweight was far from drunk. Stretching a bit, he let his muscles relax. The tension had been relieved, and for the first time in a while he got to talk to mages he barely knew. Meeting new people was one of his hobbies after all. So is everyone enjoying themselves so far? Perhaps we should get some dancing going. Arching a brow curiously, the samurai was no stranger to dancing. Fiore was a very social country, one that possessed a variety of cultures, meaning the dance and music of the country was quite diverse. This diversity was one of the reasons he moved in the first place.

Post by Sol 15th October 2017, 2:32 pm

Sol was rather surprised at the amount of people that were appearing and also just how outnumbered he was even if he was in a way safe tonight. As Izayuki asked him for him name and who he was the dragon knew that this was most likely when some people would know who he was since he was rather well known in Fiore for the evil acts he performed almost regularly. He took a hit of his Kiseru before he breathed out and avoided both getting Izayuki or Jiyu with the toxic smoke.”I am Sol Terumi the Dragon King a pleasure to make you’re acquaintance “ he said to both Mura and Izayuki as he glanced at both of them hoping that a fight wouldn’t break out. As the Tanuki changed into an exceed as well Nu blinked and Sol smirked slightly.” hmm perhaps I was to hasty to punish you Nu it seems you were right” he chuckled as he took another hit of the tobacco and nightshade and sighed in content.

it seems that quite a few people are now arriving I guess this will be quite a party” he observed as he saw members of saber tooth and even infinity Hydra appearing left and right and to be honest it was suprising Sol a bit that so many were showing up, he then caught sight of a mage that he had heard of but had never seen Ardere Kasai and while he knew a bit about him from his spies he didn’t want to risk angering him since he had heard rumors that the man was a god slayer. Seeing Jiyu sniff the air out of the corner of his eye he binked before he did the same to catch and record the different scents of people that were around him.” your scents not human what are you miss if you don’t mind me asking” he asked Jiyu hoping not to overstep his bounds. There was also a holy mage by the name of Hikari near them but he just mentally shrugged off her appearance since holy mages didn’t really bother him as much as they used to.

Nu just hung out on Sols shoulder before he finished his cup of punch and handed the empty plastic cup to the exceed.” Nu be a dear and get me another cup “ he said as the dark furred cat just nodded and flew off to get him another cup of alcohol.he saw someone enter the building but he couldn’t tell who he was or what guild he was from so the dragon just shrugged him off. It was then that another scent hit the slayers nose and he glanced around to find the source of it. It was a scent of a creature of the night and one that he had a few of in his castle, a cursory glance and another sniff made Sol believe that the man in the red duster was the source of the scent and he made a mental to note to talk to the man at some point tonight if he got the chance.

"That is respectable, ma'am. It is important to focus on other things from time to time, and being such a powerful mage must mean that you would be in and out of your own guild." she told her guild master, following in a bow to show respect. "As for being welcomed, I was welcomed by some very lovely women which all seemed to be very powerful as they were charming. Our guild is full of very lovely people, as I presume you are!" Desirée exclaimed to Izayuki, as her eyes glanced toward the table which was now covered in food of all shapes, sizes, colors, and tastes. "I hope we can speak again." she told her guild master finally, before turning her head and walking toward the same place where Kiwi had grabbed her alcohol.

The table was beautifully decorated, as each individual decoration radiated energy and themes of a candy corn. From bowls of what they were representing to different fall types of food, Desirée was super excited to get her hands on this food as she was excited that fall was coming. Recently she had been rocking more revealing and skimpy clothing which suited summer and spring, and she was excited to finally break out the sweaters and other slightly heavy clothing for the season in-between summer and winter. However, Desirée's favorite season had to be winter due to the cool temperatures and snow. Slipping into a hot-tub or hot-spring outside during snowfall was such a relaxing setting of hers, to the point that she could feel it tingle on her bones at any given time. She loved the mix of cold and hot, as it made your body feel as though a million tiny hands were giving massages to each individual skin cell on her smooth skin.

As she picked up a beautifully decorated glass plate which was white with gorgeous designs of candy-corn interlacing with fall leaves and threaded designs on the exterior, she cut herself a piece of pumpkin-bread with a candy-corn shaped cake-cutter and took a rather generous slice out of it. She also took a few candy-corn shaped cookies, which looked to be freshly frosted with appropriate icing colors, as well as pumpkin spice flavored truffles considering her skin was a very pale white and she did not want to disappoint Izayuki considering Desirée was a basic bitch. When she picked up the beautiful and delicate utensils, she refilled her glass with pumpkin spice flavored vodka and proceeded to look for a table to sit down at to quickly eat her food before socializing.

Whenever she sat and bit into the pumpkin bread, her mind fluttered at the taste of each individual spice inside of it before basically punching her in the throat due to all the flavor present in this one slice of bread. "Whoever made this is a miracle chef!" Adventurine and Kiwi both exclaimed, as they both sunk their tiny forks into the bread and proceeded to gush at the beautiful taste. All of the food that they were eating almost tasted too good to be true, as if it were magically enhanced for taste. The pumpkin spice truffles tasted just as white-girl-ish as she had thought they would, but with an addition of sweetness that no normal pumpkin-spice could ever achieve. Desirée, being the basic white girl that she was, proceeded to hog all of her truffles from the two green companions that she had went there with, making sure that her white girl mouth would be able to savor each individual truffle as if it was its last. The cookies were also lovely, as if each different color which sharply divided itself from the rest tasted a bit different in regards to sugar amount and savory flavor. Desirée was always a fan of sweet and sugary foods, as each of them made her heart beat faster and faster mixing with the effects of the alcohol that she was drinking.

Perhaps she was getting a bit more tipsy, she did not know, but she did know that she was having a very good time at this event mixed with the other mages of Fiore. She had hoped to meet other people here, perhaps new allies to be exact. For now she did not know who she would meet, and especially where they had come from. She did not feel as though many dark mages would come to this event, considering that it housed many different wizards in the good alignment as well as neutral. After all, messing with the Goddess of Ishval and her guild members would not be a good idea in regards to a planned attack. Desirée had noticed that there was a very large abundance of her fellow guild members in the area of this event, and she did not mind that in the slightest. She knew that the more Black Rose filled this place the more entertainment would come with it, and perhaps she would feel the need to perform and show her skills to everyone in the area. Being social was one of her rather useful skills, and she knew that she was extremely capable of making new friends whether they may live close or far.

As Desirée's eyes scanned across the area and through the crowds of mages, it had seemed as though her eyes struck a man in a black suit and red tie along with a sword around his waist. "What a noble-looking man, perhaps I have met him before?" she asked her two green companions, as she looked at him in a bit more detail. Desirée had felt as though she had seen him before, but she was not sure as to how or where it would have happened. Perhaps he was just a well known mage, she did not know, but she did feel as though he held good intentions. Desirée did not like to mix with those of bad alignments, as they scared her dearly. She could not understand why someone would want to reek havoc upon the world, which is why she fought with her legal guild to defend the world from corruption. With that came her fame, as almost anyone that had ever met Desirée would hold a good title with her presence. She is an extremely trustworthy idol, and despite being a person of such a social status, she would not share a secret of yours even if you were nothing but a fly.

"Go talk to him!" Adventurine exclaimed, as Desirée stood and picked up her two companions to this event and approached the boy which appeared to be standing with a suit and tie. When she slowly grazed the floor with her feet, she had heard him speak to himself in the means that he wanted to get a dance going. As she met his gaze, she noticed that he was a bit older than Desirée, but she did not mind making acquaintances with people that seemed to be older or younger than she was. "It is a pleasure to meet you, I am Desirée Blooms, an idol and mage of the Black Rose guild. I would not mind dancing, I think that is a fantastic way to get to know someone." she told him with a smile to respond to his statement, as she pet her summon's flower and her pet's squishy head.

(the man is ard lmao, she dun know this)

Ruvel listened and watched the others 'Seems you where right Shindara.' he sent to his hidden summon and heard a sigh in reply 'I'm always right our summoner, so is Amuul it comes with our gifts unfortunate as it is.' he sent back to Ruvel, the youth wished he could help the twins but he knew that was far from his power to do no matter how much he wished it. 'Do not worry our summoner, we use our abilities to guide you.' Amuul finally spoke his dual coloured eyes going to his shadow as he felt the younger twins presence 'Is everything alright Amuul?' it was uncommon for them to be with each other on this plain of existence unless he called for them that way. 'Should there be our summoner?' he sent back making the youth shake his head instinctively 'No, it's just that it's...' he tried to explain but Shindara would take it upon himself 'Usually only one of us keep watch over him at a time brother.'

'I know this, my training is over so I thought I would come too brother' Amuul sent back 'It wouldn't hurt to have two swords instead of one after all' he continued 'You are right brother, forgive me.' The elder sent back he was getting use to the formality of the two and swore if it wasn't for them he may even lose some of his own but he was glad they kept it. "You know my mentor? It stands to reason, I'll have to let him know I seen you here." he said with a smile, he would be sure that Cirven would be happy that the normal introverted and anti-social Ruvel was trying to put his best foot forward in for the good of their guild, if nothing else it meant he was slowly making bonds with other mages that could potentially become allies to him in the future. "I've learned in a culture like your own Ardere they drink alcohol made of fermented rice." he was curious if the rumour he heard was true, if it was the cause he would have to remember to take some as a present if he ever visited the Infinity Hydra guild on an errand or even went to the culture for whatever reason.

He knew from the twins own culture that some cultures seemed to be that way and seemed to have it in his own head that the warrior who stood in front of him may have the same kind. 'You really should visit us at home again summoner.' Amuul suggested to Ruvel 'Maybe...' in honest he had stumbled into their realm by accident when he had first escaped, it was the twins who nursed him back to health and it was due to the education of their people had shaped what he wore on a day to day basis though it was less formal than their own. "I wouldn't know if enjoying is the best way to put it." he said scratching his cheek nervously "This is my first real social occasion" he admitted though something behind his eyes showed sorrow and pain though he wore a smile.

"D-Dancing..." he shook his head to the mere concept of doing such a thing, he hated dancing with a passion. It was nothing against the art itself, he had done it for as long as he could remember just ever damn time he done it he released massive amounts of light in the form of seals and though they seemingly done nothing they had an adverse reaction on the youth 'You are not to dance kid, you two make sure he doesn't got it!' the warrior summon boomed making Ruvel flinch a little'There's no need to do that with them you idiot, they are more than capable of looking after him.' Ruvel heard the voice that spoke those words and his eyes opened wide as if hearing a ghost "D.. Demi.." he whispered trying to prevent himself from crying but managed to keep it together. 'As our cousin has stated lord warrior.' Shindara spoke calmly 'We are aware of the outcome if he does certain acts and will prevent it.' Amuul continued 'As is the task we have been given by teacher.' Shindara ended making Ruvel sigh he hated when they fought.

Post by Irina Naginata 15th October 2017, 6:23 pm

Irina always had a lack of presence at casual events, or did she, people often note that she seems to show up when she pleases and today seemed to be the day that she pleased to show up. Staring at the building before her she looked rather unimpressed for no apparent reason, or maybe she was just bored or something. The invitation seemed to have demanded formal attired but of course Irina being Irina just wore the same old style of clothing as she normally wore though with one exception, she replaced her trademarked coat for a new one more reminiscent of Midi than Fiore. Of course she also brought with her a sword though it wasn't Massa Phantasma as many would suspect being her most powerful weapon, instead she also had a sword mostly reminiscent of Midi, the sword and its hilt was well decorated and seemed most befitting of an emperor. Entering the building she of course was very aware of her surroundings giving her a good estimate of how many people were present and what type of people were present, and of course she stuck out like a sore thumb cause she wore attire that many would say wasn't befitting of the title formal attire.

Irina of course got many looks because of her attire but she got more looks because of how a table full of food seemly got cleaned off complete as soon as she approached it. People suspected that either she somehow managed to hide all the food or the food was an illusion to begin with but none suspected that she actually ate the entire display of food in an instant. Of course she started moving towards the drink table afterwards and people were half expecting the same thing to happen which of course didn't. Staring at the glasses of punch before her she attempted to differentiate what was different from the two different selections as she chose one of each only to get the same taste. "Why separate the punches if they are both the same?" She was so unbelievably puzzled that she started to sweat a bit as her brain ran on overdrive trying to figure out why they separated the punch. Her staring only intensified as time progressed and the party continued without her even taking note of it going on around her until she heard the solution form someone nearby. Of course half the punch had alcohol and half the punch didn't why didn't she think of that. Her response to her own revelation was not expected as silver flames licked off her until she had a miniature explosion. "GOSH DANGIT ALCOHOL WHY DO YOU HAVE TO HIDE FROM ME!" She screamed as she had a miniature tantrum, Irina being the goddess of purification couldn't tell the difference between and alcoholic drink and a non-alcoholic drink due to her simply purifying the alcohol as soon as it touched her lips. Her tantrum also caused much of her power to emanate around her making her light up as a goddess beacon, though it probably didn't matter much to anyone besides her just looking crazy. Then came the reflection, of course being in an enclosed space caused the magic to sort of bounce back acting like it was echolocation, only it probably wouldn't return much information just make Irina realize that she was going a little too wild. That was until she detected something else, her magic unexpectedly reacted with something that opposed it which changed it magic signature abnormally. The only explanation to her was that it was a god-slayer of sorts, of course Izayuki was there but it shouldn't have reacted with her magic signature at all due to them basically being polar opposites. This magic would have to have been of the same element as Irina's currently active element meaning that a fire god slayer was present. Irina found herself slightly shaken, god slayers naturally found themselves closer to equal to that of gods when fighting gods but for Irina she had been in a weakened state for quite some time, meaning that if she were to encounter a god slayer perfectly suited to handling her type of magic, she would be at an insurmountable disadvantage.

Scanning the room for what could be her worst nightmare she couldn't quite pick apart the crowd, being able to discern how many people were there didn't help her at all when she needed to figure out who she was looking for outside of the few that she could recognize from a mile away like her own guild master. Taking into account where the magic signature came from she started wandering cautiously over in that direction, this of course was a puzzling move considering that walking into your worst enemy might every well result in your death, except she felt confident that at this Gala use of violence wouldn't be tolerated which would mean she was safe for the time being. Eventually her caution worked against her as she ended up running into a wall... or rather a person. "ACK I'M SORRY MISTER PERSON!" She was once again coming off as just a crazy person who was now stumbling over her words as she managed to walk into someone who appeared to be a samurai of sorts, which also might add to her impending doom cause she had acquired Midian national treasures albeit through means outside of stealing, but she certainly looked like a relic thief at the current moment. She found herself even more all over the place interacting with her new unfortunate acquaintance whom she finally recognized as the Guild Master of Infinity Hydra which made her fall over onto the floor, just her luck today would put her into this kind of awkward situation and of course this was because her luck seemed to make a one eighty whenever it was around Halloween.

CANDY CORN GALA • sitewide social gathering - Page 2 AppaET2
    CANDY CORN GALA

The light from the candles would begin to flicker, at first, subtly, but as the minute passed by, more and more. Finally on the stage of the floating instruments, at the base, a giant inextinguishable and inedible fireball would begin to generate; at first it was the size of someone's head, before it continued to grow until it was at least ten feet in diameter. The orange blazing ball of heat suddenly whiffed itself out, as quickly as it came, as if it were no more than one of the candles on the chandelier.

In its place was a large entity with the head of a jack o lantern, a dark fur cloak held together by a skeletal charm, and two long brown vines for arms, with scythes at the tips of them. The being floated in midair, and smiled wickedly at the onlooking crowd. "Ladies and gentlemen, I apologize for the delay. Your host, our lady, the Regent of the Night, will make her appearance before too long. However, right now I welcome you to the Candy Corn Gala. I am Sir Yaqtin, the Lord of the Pumpkins, and a servant to our lady."

The pumpkin entity paused for a beat, and gazed at the crowd with his blazing yellow eyes. "If you haven't already, please get yourself something to eat and drink. The food here was specially prepared by our finest cooks, just for you all. Also, I should mention that the doors and windows have been shut, and locked. The land out beyond this ballroom is dangerous; nothing should get in. For your own safety, we ask you not leave. Any attempts at teleportation will be met with a nasty side effect, thanks to our mystical barriers."

No way in; no way out. That was the gist of what the overgrown gourd was saying. Should one try to teleport or manipulate space to leave, they would fall unconscious, at least for a while or until the night was over. If one tried to blast or force their way out by destroying the building, the power would simply be absorbed, as if nothing happened. The setting could not be changed.

Should one peer out of one of the windows, they would find an abyss of black skies and gloomy fog, no longer the capital city of Crocus. The glass could not be broken, though one could see sinister shapes lurking in the mists, on the prowl.

"The Regent of the Night will be here to greet you shortly. You were all gathered for a reason. But for now, enjoy yourselves. It is not a party without some merriment and laughter~" Yaqtin explained, chuckling deeply.

The news would not excite many of the wizards. However, if one tried to attack him they would hit an invisible forcefield that would not break; and he would simply laugh in their face.

The party did not start until the real fun began.

OOC: If you have not posted already, feel free to do so! You have to have posted in this thread to continue on to Part 2.
However, nobody should be entering the ballroom after this post; roleplay as if you have been here since the first post if you are just now joining the thread.
From now on, everyone is ICly trapped. Another NPC post will be here in a few days to REALLY get the event going. Have fun, everybody~

Post by Jiyu Kazehime 15th October 2017, 8:42 pm

Elfin ears twitched, listening to everything including the mutterings of someone she did not know, one of the newer entries to the room, but since she knew little and had not much interest in his words she ignored most of anything that went into her hypersensitive ears. "Eh who can claim to be alright, you have to be at least a little bit nuts to be a mage for a living." of which it appeared everyone in the room was in some sort of way, everyone had the magical energy for the most part with a few exceptions. "Ard is something of a fiery powerhouse." Luckily since she had been in battle with Ard before the male likely knew not to start showing off fire spells to display this fact. Even with so much danger back in that village? Seeing his flames had made her pass out for at least a little bit, and the fear from those moments clouded most of her memory of the event.

"Well Hello, Ruvel, I'm Jiyu." and she had no idea why she had come to this again, with the tickle torture the wind had slowly started to slice away some of the fabric of her white sundress, though not a noticeable amount yet. Considering the wind's actions on her clothing? Kazehime considered the possibility she may have to leave the party early or risk being rendered nude during it. The female's gaze fell when she slightly heard leila's verbal comment about the liquor stench, and the eden mage wasn't wrong. Once the scent of alcohol took over someone enough? Jiyu just couldn't do it anymore, it reminded her too much of the past she had run away from. At times the female would mentally fight through her distaste, but Leila was seemingly doing it to drive her off if one person knew the extent of her fear it was clearly the other female. Though everything else she overheard? Confused her, as she had no recollection of the person being mentioned.

"I certainly appreciate it being peaceful this time, I always seem to find trouble but it's not like I enjoy it.... "
she trailed off, recalling all the times she ended up rushing into something anyone else could have guessed would be trouble in mere moments. "that much." hey, she couldn't help how rash she was! It was simply entertaining near trouble! "Oh yeah, Cirven, is he going to show up tonight? It's been a bit since I've seen him." the last time he saw her they had actually found out they were something of cousins, oh and he saved her life, not that she was always a damsel in distress anymore. That day? Had been something of an expectation.

Dancing, that made her sweat a bit more than the tickle torture. Unless she managed to get another girl every time? She would be unable to partake and her fear of men would become obvious when she flipped out upon their attempt to take her hand to dance with her! "is dancing really required?" it was a weird statement, considering her magic sometimes even could seem like dancing, but she didn't know what else to do. "Oh I'm a canine demon." she lied easily to Sol, show casing her fluffy tail, because she lied about it easily to everyone by now, the only two currently in the room who knew she was an Inugami were Leila and Izayuki, Kazehime liked it that way, considering she didn't quite understand her goddess position herself yet.

"IRINA STOP MAKING US SOUND LIKE ALCOHOLICS! geez shouting about where the booze is could just ask me I can smell where. It's the third one to the right, in the middle there." while she hated the liquid she did used to bartend, so enabling was one thing she managed sometimes, and a sense of smell like hers was super helpful for finding something like what her guildmate was searching for. Of course, she also had to give the red-haired girl a hard time about shouting in the ballroom.

The wind user became distracted, her vision catching a slight flickering in the middle of the stage. So far? She had managed to fight to stay here, to stay awake and engaged in spite of the flames burning around the room, if the ballroom had been any smaller she would have been incapable, it was another reason she avoided formal events. The existence fire? Was the bane of her own existence, ever since the element had been used to torture her for three years straight. Kazehime tended to do her best to avoid any flames that could potentially cause her to react badly, which was most of them, making the world a fairly hostile place for her. This new forming ball of flickering flame certainly became a concern as it grew and far suppressed her ability to deal with flame in the same room as her.

Around the same time, everyone else would clearly be able to notice the fireball? Her body would be trembling, dull aches spreading outward from where she had once carried scars from her torment before her ascent to her canid state. Luckily everyone was likely too focused on the jack-o-lantern that appeared to realize she had passed out from the knowledge of the flame ball. A few feet away from the main crowd? She was for once not in the air floating above everyone but instead, her back was pressed 'against' the wall and her body was slumped, eyes shut as if she was sleeping. If someone was to pester her, they would gain no response, heck it looked as if she was standing on the ground, having been unable to sit or lay before she lost to her fear, she would have been on the floor if not for the support of the wall.

Jiyu would wake, this one wasn't too bad, but the fact she was now trapped unable to teleport away if she wanted, could be a bit more of a trying thing once that part caught up to her.

Takumi wasn't sure why exactly he was here, but he shivered as he did. He was wearing a rather formal kimono, and was in his Kitsune form, as was the instructions on the invitation, a formal dress code. It was cold and he didn't like it, nor did he like the fact that his 3 companions had gone missing. The man placed one hand on his belly as he arrived, having arrived moments before everything was locked up. Nothing about this seemed good to the sun god, but he was determined to show none of his fears as he waddled to a corner, where he would sit down heavily. He chose not to eat or drink anything, instead opting to eat candy from a bag he had brought with him. His sky blue eyes were nervous as he looked around, fox ears laid flat against his head. He recognized some faces, but chose not to say hi to anybody.

When the pumpkin lord arrived and began talking, his eyes had narrowed, a sense of triumph at being right overtaking him until he realized he was trapped. At that point, panic set in. At least, until he felt a warm hand on his shoulder and turned to see his 3 pets. Takumi didnt hesitate to pull Wist down beside him and climb into his lap, while greeting both his exceed and his newest companion. "Where were you? You scared me a little, guys, vanishing on me like that." He said, leaning on Wist.   He was a lot calmer now that his companions were with him. He was reassured to have them all nearby. After all, each had saved his butt too many times for him to keep track.

Sol blinked as most of the lights went out and a jack o lantern with scythes for hands and vines for arms appeared and greeted them and introduced itself as the lord of the pumpkins and a servent of the regent of the night, its wicked grin may have unnerved some of the guests but it made Sol grin as he knew things would get interesting along with the fact that they were now locked in here with no way in or out or any way to teleport,”Huh dunno if this is a set up or not but its sure to spice up our little party that’s for sure now weither this party stays peaceful or gets violent is now up to question, I guess we will find out soon enough.” he stated as he glanced around and looked for someone to interact with and enjoy himself since the messanger told them that the lady of the evening would be here soon enough and The dragon could only hope it wouldn’t take forever since he hated waiting most of the time with a passion. Glancing around he noticed that Jiyu had seemed to either vanished or she had backed away and he quickly sniffed the air to find the inugami.

He found jiyu huddled against a wall and he approached in an attempt to try and help her, he may have been an evil man eating dragon but to inhumans such as himself and Izayuki and Jiyu he could be civil and even helpful provided it didn’t come back to bite him in the butt.”Oi you ok uh Jiyu was it” he asked as he knelled to get down to her level, he however was met with no answer and he sighed before he glanced back to Izayuki.”Hey Iza I think your guild mate here needs some help she is shutting everything out including myself” he explained as he stood up and walked away from the Inugami and towards some mages that he had never met before including the one that seemed to be demanding alcohol which made the slayer chuckle as his exceed nu brought back two cups of alcohol while she balanced another pumpkin latte on her head.

Here Sol take these this latte is hot but I didn’t have the hands to carry it” she explained as the dragon took the cups of alcohol and approached Irina while Nu took the coffee cup off of her head and took a drink of the coffee while sighing in content. The dragon king held out the cup of alcohol to Irina. "Here though its not very strong its better then nothing” he said as he took a drink of his own cup. Sol then relized that his kiseru was empty and he put some more nightshade and tobacco into the pipe before he took a match and breathed in the toxic smoke with a look of content on his face. He glanced at Irina for a moment before he spoke.”I would offer you a hit of my Kiseru but it would most likely be bad for your health” he said as he took another hit of the substance.

Despite the strangeness of it all, Aurora would still try to enjoy the chocolate meal as Leila watched her with clear uninterest in her eyes, but had lack of better stimuli that she could turn her attention to. Despite this being a very social event that many mages went to, no one had actually tried to approach the snow white girl. Which was also something that she had honestly anticipated. After all, that was the nature of not only humans, but all creatures holding some intelligence and living in a society similar to the one found in this world. People would be in groups, divided. That was because everyone was simply far too different from one another. Those that were too different could never truly agree even on the most basic of levels, thus creating conflicts. As a result, groups of people that were alike would be formed. People that were capable of harmonically interacting with one another rather than barking at each other all day long. People like Leila were exempt from these groups. An eternal wanderer with no true home, she was capable of interacting with almost anyone who was not outright evil and trying to take away her life, but at the same time never remained long enough to truly grow and create any meaningful bonds with others. Of course, there were also exceptions to this, as there were to absolutely everything else. Few rare individuals that managed to stick around just long enough to make her feel anything warm inside at all. A good number of people had someone like that, as could be easily confirmed when the girl glanced to the side, spotting a newly arrived mage resting in a lap of another being. They were bonds much stronger than your average friendship.

Finishing the second glass, Leila would sight and rub her temple a little bit. While she expected that no one would really try to interact with her, she also didn't expect this party to be so stale for her. After all, it was themed like this and delivered in the most suspicious of ways. It all screamed... well... not boring. She had almost given up the anticipation of anything at all happening as she prepared to stand up and head for the main entrance when she noticed a slight change in the lighting of the room. Now that she became an avatar of the wild, boasting a number of animal traits, she also became much keener and sensitive to even the most subtle changes around her. The flames above and everywhere else started flickering and dancing much more feverishly than before. And yet, there was no true wind that would cause this, despite the presence of at least one fairly powerful wind witch in the room. It was a first sign of many that actually convinced the female to sigh once again and remain in place as she reached for another slice of the orange melon to bite into, continuing to watch her goddess across the table who was rather struggling to keep all that chocolate in her mouth and atop the food rather than on her clothes. There was something rather charming about a seemingly omnipotent being, at least to some extent, who wasn't quite able to grasp even the most basic concepts of the world due to her lack of interaction with the world itself. In that sense, she was almost like a child who was just learning the basics of staying alive and continuing to exists in this realm of reality. It almost made the white-haired witch chuckle, though she restrained herself for the sake of not agitating Aurora. The last thing she needed to happen was a scene and fight between them breaking out.

Though she did not have to entertain herself with these thoughts for all that much longer. The flickering was consistently growing stronger until it all finally peaked. And what she assumed to be the twist of the evening finally started happening, as she started to focus her gaze at the sparks forming on the stage for everyone to see, a grand performance to set terror into the faint hearts of meek mages. Even the Eden's goddess noticed it, trying to lay the rest of her unconventional meal back at the plate and turn around as she wiped chocolate from her lips with a napkin. What started to follow was a scene not all that impressive, as both of the females had seen much more grand performance than this one. At least until Leila realized something, standing up so quickly that the chair she was sitting at until now was flung back and toppled over. A stage that was large and positions so that anyone and everyone could see it, no matter where they were. Not to mention the effect of it all in itself, the flames were probably enough to draw anyone's attention, even the most absorbed mages here. Quickly scanning the air with her emerald green orbs, the girl had confirmed her worry as her hands placed on the table tensed up, her nails leaving almost claw-like marks on the wooden furniture due to the force applied by her. Everyone had their own weakness, though not everyone was affected equally by their shortcomings. Someone like herself would take measures against their own weakness and not be affected by it as much. However, she knew someone who was quite the opposite, unable to even bear the sight of flames even more than the smell of alcohol. Knowing that and not being able to see her right away set the panic mode into active.

"And now you're interested. Are you sure you're not little too kind to be the Guardian of Eden? Not to mention the number of people here. Stick to your plan, someone else will help her soon enough."

Not replying to the goddess, Leila would walk straight forward, easily walking through the table of organic material as if it was not even there the same way she arrived at this party, heading into the crowd. Her summon spoke the truth, even if she did nothing, most people here were kind and even if they were not, they would not dare to do anything to a passed out person in such a public area. Someone would help her sooner or later. And perhaps someone already had done so and the girl herself was late due to her hesitation. But she just couldn't shake that feeling in the back of her head. As seemed to be the theme of tonight, she sighed and closed her eyes while continuing to walk. Smells, sounds, magical signatures. She could sense it all. And knowing all three that she would make, it was no hard task to pin point the exact location where Jiyu was. It did not take long at all to finally have the other girl in her vision, though at that moment, Leila froze completely. There was someone else, a boy that seemed to be examining her. A multitude of different thoughts ran through her mind in an instant, theorizing who he was and what exactly did he want to do. Of course, all of that dissipated into nothingness the moment he walked away as if nothing was wrong. He noticed but didn't try to help her at all? Gritting her teeth, the Eden's caretaker would regain her composure and simply walk over to the passed out girl, looking around and making sure everyone's attention was still turned elsewhere as the crowd surely started talking, and probably mildly panicking, about the fact that they were all locked in here and no type of magic would seemingly be able to help them get out of here. Though that was secondary at the moment.

Leaning down, Leila would pick up her friend, placing one hand beneath her knees and one on her back. If there was one perk to the Inugami being about as big as a child, it was that she was all the easier to carry even for someone like this white-haired maiden. Not wasting any time, she would turn around and start walking back with her to the place where she was sitting before as inconspicuously as she possibly could in this situation, not exactly having any desire to appear as the person who made her be like this or had ill intentions. Putting her unconscious body onto one of the chairs while sitting next to her, she sighed in relief. All of this would be probably quite the surprise to the tiny mage once she actually wakes up. In fact, that was something Leila decided to try and help with. Rolling her right sleeve back a little bit, she would grow out a small purple flower out of her hand, one that had special properties. Its smell was capable of waking up people even from the most deep of sleep. Though if it would work on a being such as Jiyu, that she did not know. Still, she tried to place the flower into the black-haired girl's hair and leave it to do what it was meant to do. In the meantime, Aurora watched it all and chuckled as the sweet moments unfolded right in front of her.

"Aren't you a doting friend, rescuing the damsel in distress. Really, how can someone like her be working as a mage? She even ran away back while we were searching for the Heaven's forge just because I took over your body and said few mean things to her~"

Leila decided to ignore the goddess' words and instead just moved the bottle of whiskey from before to the side. She probably had enough drinking for tonight due to this happening. Which was a little frustrating as the stress of them being trapped in this place with no way out and a passed out friend right next to her only made her want to drink all the more. If the option was there, she would have probably downed the entire damn bottle right this moment without even caring if she was seen as a heavy drinker by others that were possibly looking at her during that moment. But... she had to hold her mind pure and focus.

Mura’s eyes shone even more as Ardere had spoken back to him in a friendly manner, finally at the pinnacle of nirvana for having started a conversation with this Midian legend. Even more surprising, and yet seemingly not given by the position of his guild crest, the taller samurai recognized the shamanistic samurai as a wizard of Fairy Tail, which couldn’t let him stay quiet for too long: “Y-Yep, my name’s Mura. Mura Kensho..!” His eyes began fixing on Ardere’s choice of weapon that he had taken along with him, reminding the shaman that he too had brought Harusame with him. Another thing that they had in common, and the fatherland-loving spirits began to overheat within his normally silent face. It would have been easy for the tanuki above his head to feel the fanboyish aura warm up his hair, but who could blame him? He had known of this fire mage for a very long time, read and heard of his stories and achievements for as long as he could remember, all the way from back when he still lived in Midi and knew jack poo about magic until this very day. If Mura’s father was present, he would have fainted at the very spot…

“Woah… I can’t believe I’ve finally met him in person..!”
Mura proclaimed to the fluffy guildmaster atop his head, even picking her onto his hands and swinging her around gently as he was overjoyed by the experience. Honestly, it looked rather childish for someone like him to react this way, but even he had his right to simply dance in happiness. After putting her back on the throne that his head had proudly embodied, he turned his eyes around - the tanuki could have gotten quite the stomach aches if he turned his head around too much, or so he felt - and among those new people that he spotted was also his guildmate, Takumi. It appeared that Kazehime was right, after all, as Mura smiled. I should go ask him about that…, he thought, remembering the time earlier when the sun mage had invited both him, Sorano and Hana to tell them rather shocking news. However, the entire atmosphere changed when the stage emitted a huge, orange fire that slowly expanded in size. It was a pretty dangerous sight to behold, but for now, nothing seemed to have been getting hostile towards the wizards… or well, until the shaman heard from Sol that perhaps her guildmate had some trouble. Throwing a glance up at Izayuki, Mura began approaching the now fainted girl, taking a look at her rather restful face. “Darn… hey, what did he-“ the shaman was about to ask whilst turning his gaze towards the stage. Did the pumpkin being hurt her? It didn’t sound reasonable at all; given by the speech, yes, they were apparently locked in this hall. Maybe the floating being had evil intentions, but it also explained the dangers outside as a reason to have taken such measures. Then again, why had Jiyu fainted? It was just before Mura would have picked her up himself, but his eyes slowly rose up at the next person who had arrived to help the little girl up herself. His eyes were locked onto this particular lady who had appeared, remembering that Jiyu had asked out for a specific mage’s presence back then. “… Leila?” he asked surprisingly, deciding to move over to where she had sat, “Hey, is… is that you? You sure changed a lot since last time.”

The girl took a good bit of care while transporting her unconscious friend, but it appeared that someone noticed after all. Well, it was to be expected with so many mages present in the hall. She would have needed an actual cloak of invisibility if she hoped to silently transport Jiyu from one place to another like that. It was not exactly the best of situations Leila could have found herself in, but she was ready to improvise at least a little bit. Though, on top of the fact that someone approached her, it was actually someone she knew from the distant past. Very distant in fact. She had barely recognized the boy, but soon recalled her first trip to the Divide Island. Back then, she was going on a hunt for a famed pirate treasure. She had thought that she was gonna be alone for the entire time until three other people joined, this boy was one of them. If she recalled correctly, his name was Mura Kensho, a swordsman of kinds. At the time, it also seemed that he was communicating with spirits that were either part of him as whole or part of his magic. Now it made senses why he approached her asking the question he did rather than questioning the fact that she carried another guest who was seemingly sleeping over to here. If he had the power to commute with souls of the deceased or had the ability to see souls in general, then he would have recognized the Eden's guardian even when her appearance, smell, and magical energy completely changed. In a sense, that was quite a terrific ability he had there. One that would make it nearly completely impossible for anyone to hide from his leering gaze.

"Greetings. Long time no see, Mura Kensho. You don't have to be alarmed, I have things with miss Kazehime fully under control. There are quite a bit of people in here, the humid air probably got to her. I assure you that she'll be fine in no time at all."

Saying that the girl would run her hand through the snow-white hair again, a pleasant scent of vanilla wafting through the air as she did so. It became the natural smell of her hair ever since the appearance change. Or maybe it was just the fact she usually bathed in the sea of stars present in the Gardens of Eden. The water there had plenty of unusual traits that even she had to yet discover. On the other end of the table, it seemed that Aurora became quite amused by the swordsman's arrival, eyeing him thoroughly.

"Mura Kensho was it? It's quite the pleasure to meet you, sir. I hear that you're one of the first people that worked with Leila over here as she started her career of being a mage. To think I would meet such a legend here, it's quite the bliss~"

It seemed that the goddess started becoming bored again and decided to tease the poor youth. To the Eden's caretaker, it was obvious that the goddess couldn't care any less who worked with her other half as long as they would not hold her back. So the chance that she would suddenly start being interested in such things out of nowhere was pretty much non-existent. Still, it was probably good that his attention would be removed from Jiyu until she would wake up and handle the situation herself, if she would even be capable of something like that right now.

It seems the lord himself arrived, one to rival him, eh? Elyx crossed his arms as he watched the scenery go by. Unfortunately, he won't be able to escape based on what the Verisi eyes scanned when analyzing the locked doors. As for magic potential, he would rather not test the theory of trying to teleport his way out of there. So he dared to so what no one should do when held under the mercy of a stronger being. The brunette took a few calm steps towards the king, his hands in his pockets and his head raised up while his eyes were half-closed. "Do you intend to release us once that reason has been fulfilled? Or should we resist our purpose to them while we're at it? He asked, keeping his magic concealed when doing so to make it seem like the average mage was speaking. If they were going to have to deal with a being, they better not hold all these mages as prisoners. Elyx was unsure about how powerful the fellow mages were, but surely they could overcome whatever being was playing with their lives like pawns on a chess board.

Shima in the meantime proceeded to move towards the tables, grabbing a whole vine of grapes for her to snack on. She didn't seem to care about how her life was in danger currently, their free will being stripped away. The spirit continued to munch happily like a glutton, next snacking on the bowl of candy corn. The sweet candy was so bliss and lightly slid on her tongue, despite the drier texture of the sweet corn syrup induced treat. It's best if the spirit had been left alone with her new lower, a bowl of candy corn.

    Mythica
they promised all of your dreams
Would come true However They forgot to mention
    yournightmares were
    Dreams too
Well, it seemed as fast a Myth found people to interact with, it took an equal amount of time for them all to spread out into different directions. And just like she had been during the start of the gala, she was once again alone. Sol had ended up wandering off after Izayuki morphed into an exceed, which Myth could admit she had no idea the wizard was capable of. She had always assumed exceeds were more mysterious creatures than the regular magical beings that inhabited their world, and the worlds beyond. However, apparently not. For all the marvellous power and elegance this guild master may have displayed with her acts... One in particular didn't sit well with Mythica. She couldn't really figure out what it was... As she had never experienced this feeling before... But she felt a strong annoyance in seeing just how close Izayuki and Mura were. Sure it was evident that they had known each other for quite some time, but the way they interacted with one another seemed to go along so smoothly... She could see and sense how calm and relaxed he was when talking to her... And how uptight and nervous he had gotten when Mythica joined the equation... Did this tank wizard have something that Mythica did not? What could Mura possibly see in this girl that would warrant such a stable and friendly relationship with? And why could Mythica not replicate it? A question that continued to burn a hole in the back of her mind as she tried to find an answer in her silence as her eye watched them carefully.. Not realizing she was even staring. However, that was all shattered when another woman came in and distracted Izayuki and Mura from each other, even for a brief moment.

A fair skinned white haired girl joined the little get together Mythica had inadvertently started near the table of food. Apparently she was part of Izayuki's guild and had introduced herself as Desiree... A name Myth had already known. Even though she didn't even realize it, Mythica had been peering into the personal info of every other girl in this room who came near her... Or more specifically Mura. She struggled to remain quiet as they spoke, as it was obvious Desiree was speaking specifically to Izayuki, and not her "throne". To help with her challenge of remaining quiet, Myth took her cup from the table and continued to drink from it, hoping to mask any feeling she may have been showing on the outside. However, that's when yet ANOTHER woman approached the group... Someone she hadn't met before, but she obviously knew who Mura was. And the first thing Mythica heard was this girl known as Jiyu reference Myth herself as Mura's girlfriend.

She would admit to herself that's not at all what she thought she was... But Mura's response surprised her a little. He didn't even deny it... He just remained quiet and silent. Mythica's face had a expression of inquiry on it before turning into a friendly smile. "Oh! I didn't even realize THAT's what this was!" She said giving Jiyu a dark grin as she quickly wrapped her arms around Mura's. "Is it?" She whispered into Mura's ear, obviously not caring now if her sudden approach made him feel uncomfortable, as she was used to that kind of response from many people. However, whatever happened next, it wouldn't take long for the samurai's attention to shift suddenly to another person. A newer arrival it seemed. As he left, Myth was now alone at the table, seeing as everyone now had spread out to their own get togethers. And she watched him leave her there completely and utterly alone, dragging along that... Tanuki with him... Still sitting on his head like she owned him... Myth didn't even notice that she had been clenching the napkin in her hand so hard that little trickles of red liquid creased from her sweaty palms onto it...

However, before Myth could fall farther into this unknown and strange feeling, something happened... Something that completely caught her off guard. The lights flickered, but she didn't snap out of her trance until a new voice spoke in the air. Looking up she saw him. The Pumpkin Lord. Standing tall above everyone floating above the party addressing the crowd. He went on to tell them that his mistress would arrive soon, and until then they should continue enjoying themselves... But there appeared to have been a catch. All the doors were locked, and Mythica could feel the field of magic around the building grow stronger. It seemed as if they were now all trapped here. To confirm her suspicions, Mythica wandered over to the nearest window and peered out of it to notice that they were indeed no longer situated within the capital city of Crocus in Fiore... But what looked like some sort of alien dimension. All feelings of irritation and jealously she had felt earlier washed away... And a more sinister one took their place. As a dark grin formed on her lip. This was indeed about to get VERY interesting. Many different thoughts would rile up inside Mythica's head as she tried to grasp the situation in its entirety. Her magic began to work relentlessly to figure out the properties of the magic barrier around the building, but her time magic could only tell her when it got strong enough to block out all outside contact. She had also tried to peer into the so called "Pumpkin Lord"'s past to figure out where exactly he came from, and maybe grab a glimpse of his mistress, the Regent of the Night. However, strangely enough her efforts did not bear any fruit. She could not determine anything about this mystical being, and it was probably the barrier's fault. Not only did it prevent people from escaping, but it also dulled the magical effects within the building as well. That was a minor annoyance, but Mythica wouldn't let it bother her too much, she was, after all, very excited to see how this event would end up. And her magic was prone to giving her spoilers about such things. Not tonight it would seem, because with the barrier, and the unseen abilities of the pumpkin lord and his mistress, NO ONE would be able to find a loophole in their system. Not even the most powerful wizards here like Elyx and Izayuki. They were all stuck on the same boat, and Mythica sensed it may take a considerable amount of effort and time before any of them could earn their freedom again. She couldn't;t help but wonder what everyone else was thinking now. They had their most useful tools taken from them. Magic. And seeing as most of these people were legal mages, they must've been pissed about the situation, as they all must've been able to sense the dark forces at work within the gala. Sam couldn't be said for the dark mages though. She could see Sol from across the room snickering to himself, so it was obvious that he found this whole situation just as entertaining as Mythica did. At least they shared that similarity. As the pumpkin lord faded, she found herself wanting to meet this regent more and more, because she this person defiantly had the brains and the know how to pull off something like this... She would love to have that power for herself... And she would find a way to do it, even if it meant slaughtering this regent by her own hands. For you see, Mythica had no fear of what the night had in store. She was confident she would remain unscathed, and fairly entertained.... For the night was dark and full of terrors.

The Pumpkin Lord warned everyone not to attempt to escape as it would be met with dangerous side effects. Not that Mythica wanted too anyways. Unlike most of the people here, she was very interested to see where this night would take them. She needed to see this 'Regent of the Night' and determine her plans for the large group of wizards she had so cleverly riled up. It couldn't have been anything good. But Mythica didn't care, she was excited to see how this night would turn out with this unexpected plot twist. With that thought in mind, her attention soon shifted over to her dear friend Mura, who appeared to be assisting the woman who had bestowed Mythica the title of Girlfriend. She was now on the floor, seemingly unconscious. Mythica didn't care though, not in the slightest. She had a different thought in mind. Without warning she approached Mura who had just conversed with another girl she did not recognize, but apparently he knew her too. Wow, this dude got all the ladies... Not for long though.

Intentionally trying to take him by surprise, Mythica grabbed his shoulders from behind and wrapped her arms around his chest, leaning in. "Looks like you're stuck with your girlfriend for the night.." She chuckled sinisterly... And he could now feel a much darker aura around the woman as she got more excited.

Sol was the first one to notice something wrong transpiring, and that likely was not actually a good thing, one of the Dark Mages being the first to notice a Legal Mage in distress, luckily it did seem the male intended on being 'normal' tonight instead of any evil he may normally do. Kazehime was entirely helpless right now, her mind unable to pull itself out of the intense blackness that it had fallen into upon the giant fireball having become something she knew of. In spite of it now being gone? That didn't change the fact candles lined the room and she had to fight up from an unconscious state back to being able to fight her eyes open. Right now? The young woman's brain was just trying to escape the black vortex it had fallen into, attempting to climb back towards any source of light but finding nothing she could grasp unto in order to hoist herself out of the inferno of darkness.

Leila was right to go into panic mode because Jiyu was entirely unable to drag her brain out of the inky consumption of her own fear, at least at the moment. As Leila's plan of avoiding Kazehime went to dust? The female's body slid further down the wall, considering she would only be able to be supported by it for so long considering her lack of any conscious state. Falling to the ground would be an exceptionally bad result for someone fragile enough to break bones by being pushed lightly. The wind witch got lucky enough, the Eden user's arms embracing her bridal style before she could fall to the ground in her passed out state, before serious harm could end up coming to her due to how weak her physical form was.

Most people would cause harm to the delicate little canine by moving her, but Leila had experience in manipulating the child-sized girl without harming her considering how many missions they had been on together. Given the privilege of being moved to somewhere safer during her time of weakness, the Inugami clearly could focus a considerable due more towards waking up. Even though her brain didn't go and say 'Oh Leila's right there' the female subconsciously knew that her friend had moved her to a safer location. The flower was twined gently into her dark ebony locks, it's scent wafting down to her noise and forming something that helped her in ignoring the smell of smoke from the numerous candles. Eventually, she managed to reach a place where she was not awake, but also not entirely out of it within blackness anymore.

The voice of Aurora was what finally woke up the wind user, the female was quick to jolt up slightly, her claws 'digging' into the wood of the chair, but not really since her body was incapable of exerting that much physical force. "You're a bitch Aurora that's how." the female grumbled as she rubbed her eyes, curling up into herself slightly as her levitation resumed slowly, only floating about an inch above the chair. Now that she was able to open her eyes? The female could smell the flower in her hair, clawed finger tracing the small flower momentarily, with a small smile. "Thanks, Leila." the female mumbled it slightly, her dress fluttering as her wind entirely enveloped her once more, tugging her hair in all directions it possibly could. "Miss Kazehime? Aaw, that makes it sound like you don't know me." the female chuckled slightly, her pale hand going to take one strand of Leila's white hair within her small hand, giggling softly, twirling the strand of hair if she had obtained it.

"As she said though mura, I'm quite alright, my constitution just isn't the best sometimes, the tickling became too much." it was quite the lie, an entire excuse considering both girls sitting there knew it was because of her fear towards fire. "See, I'm perfectly back to normal." although it was weird that she didn't seem to make another jab, joke or otherwise lighten the mode. Normally? The wind user would be doing something entertaining by now, it was weird she hadn't done anything by now.

Well, this was quite unusual. Jiyu actually awoke just in time and even started badmouthing Aurora. Or perhaps that was not such a surprise. The black-haired wind with was always kinda like this. It wasn't quite as apparent the first time they had met in the Cursed village while hunting down Lilith, but even as the girl tried to push Leila into safety back then, her language was completely unrestrained. It was quite the contract when compared to the Eden's caretaker who seemingly never even cursed once in her life. The nameless golem that adopted her on his travels did a good job teaching her proper manners that would help the girl reach the place in life she was happy with one day. Honestly, those words forced yet another sigh out of the white-haired maiden's mouth. Aurora herself, on the other hand, chuckled at it all. The difference between before and right now was just that amusing. She knew that it would be much easier for the girl to react this way when the goddess was in her own form rather than possessing her summoner and speaking in her voice. So instead of retaliating like a child, she would move a glass of orange colored champagne and move her finger on top of it before taking a more firm hold and actually drinking. It was rare for her to be able to indulge herself in the delights of Earthland, so she planned on fully taking advantage of all this for as long as she possibly could. Leila, on the other hand, did not react much more than she already did. At least until the moment that her hair started being played with by the wind witch. Something that she replied to by grabbing Jiyu's hand instead and pulling her back down onto the chair as gently as she possibly could in their situation.

"You're not going any further than five feet away from me until I make absolutely certain that you're fine, like it or not. That and in case you decide to tear apart your own clothes any more than this."

Of course, she had noticed the damage that her own wind did to the white dress. Her eyes were far keener than ever before after all. And with her magic, she was capable of even creating new clothes on the spot, though they would all be nature themed no matter her effort to create anything else. Such was a magic that allowed her the control of growth. While flexible, the theme was most definitely fixed in place. And it would be better than walking around naked anyway, that much the other girl would surely agree with.

"And while I have the both of you here at once, I'll have you apologize to one another. The past is nothing more than that, the past."

To that, Aurora would sight herself and affix her gaze at Jiyu for few moments before smiling. And for once, it actually wasn't a sinister smile either, but a genuine one instead. Leila spoke the truth and as much conflict as they had in the past, things somehow managed to work out in their favor. Revived and free from the demon's clutch, the goddess had no real reason to harbor any real hate toward her summoner, nor those who surrounded her.

"Please, do accept my apologies, Jiyu Kazehime. I have no plans to stop teasing you, but I can at least promise that I won't try to stab you in the back~"

And with that, the snow-white maiden would look at her friend, silently demanding the same. At the end of the day, she and Aurora were one at the same being. If the two girls wanted to ever work together again, or do anything together for that matter, a peace must have been declared even if there were still some bitter feelings. But surely the two goddesses could find some common ground. Honestly, it was Leila who felt little out of it in this situation. So she simply just looked away, her face somewhat saddened as she started pondering what they should even try to do next. There was still the problem of their entrapment... and there was a good chance that Jiyu herself did not even know that fact yet due to her passing out before. Leila knew the girl's weaknesses well, so if she truly did not know, then she should make sure she would not find out if not absolutely necessary. Unnecessary panic was about the last thing they needed. And the girl that suddenly appeared behind Mura and started clinging to him definitely wasn't helping that either, considering the fact she had a reasonably dark aura around her. The Eden's guardian worked with plenty of people who had dark or cursed magic, as one of those people was sitting right next to her at this very moment, but the way she was broadcasting it screamed danger to the princess white. After all, there was absolutely no guarantee that only legal or guildless mages were invited to this event. Any manner of individuals could have been present and plotting anything. Or worse, it was entirely possible that there were individuals that worked with the pumpkin lord himself. She didn't want to think about it but had to. Her body would tense up, start shaking even as she gritted her teeth, frustrated.

    MAKE YOUR TRUE CRYSTALS RADIATE.

"I'm sorry, it appears as if an announcer has interrupted our chance to know each-other~!" Desirée told the suited boy which happened to be the Infinity Hydra guild master, before turning around and witnessing a giant ball of fire levitating upon the stage of floating instruments which were playing an array of different songs as the time went by. It grew from the size of a watermelon all the way to almost the size of a car, suddenly turning into a grotesque being with a jack-o-lantern as a head and what appeared to be vines and bones encasing the rest of the body to make it look more monstrous then if it just had a pumpkin as its entire being. What it was Desirée had not known, but she sure knew that it was one of the more interesting looking beings that had attended the party. Desirée, Kiwi, and Adventurine began to walk towards the pumpkin-esque being at a slow pace, considering she did not know what this man was or where he was from.

The pumpkin introduced himself as Sir Yaqtin, the lord of pumpkins. "How interesting..." Desirée thought to herself at this, bewildered as he mentioned the hosts name. It definitely had a bit of a spooky connotation, but she did not think twice of it considering this was a Halloween event after all. However, the statement that he had said after certainly startled Desirée's party. He had stated that the doors and all means of escape were locked, and that any means of trying to escape would be met with some side effects. He did use a negative connotation when saying this, and he sounded sort of sinister. This startled Desirée, as she ran toward one of the nearest windows with Adventurine and Kiwi and gasped at the sight.

When they looked out the window, it had appeared that the town of Crocus had been switched into something extremely disturbing. It was now a black void, with glowing eyes of sinister creatures lurking in the shadows around them. The sky looked nearly black as well, with hints of grey clouds. "Desirée, we are trapped! I'm scared!" Adventurine screamed, as she began to cry while popping off her flower which was on-top of her head. "Take this, pumpkin jerk-face wannabe plant life nerdy boy!" she screamed while running toward the pumpkin, throwing the flower toward him with extreme power and speed. When it met his pumpkin skin, it simply deflected and game flying back at the green-haired girl. The pumpkin laughed at her attempt to injure him in a sinister way, causing her to cry even more. "Adventurine, we will handle this in a peaceful way." she told her summon, as she attached the flower back to her head and proceeded to shoot a floral beam out of her hands. "I'm leaving, I need my mommy! Waaa!" she screamed, as the light developed in a small hole that only she would be able to fit through. This hole boasted with roses on the exterior, and at the bottom could be seen a cloudy sky with a faint sight of cities under it. This was in one of the larger towns of Chrysalis, which Desirée had never been to but was certainly looking forward to in the future. Adventurine quickly dived face-first in the hole, causing it close behind her as if it were never there in the first place.

"Aw, I wish this didn't have to happen... I hope this didn't upset her too much." she told Kiwi, as she gripped him just as she gripped Adventurine in her arms as she walked. She knew it was best that now she should not summon any more of her Crystals, considering that any forms of teleportation out would be met with certain consequences. She was sure that her summons going from their realm to where she was now would not be an issue, but she did not want to risk anything that could put her magic at danger. She also did not want to drink her issues away, considering a mere party just turned into a situation of hostages. Many people around Desirée did not seem to take much from this as if they had not even payed attention to his message, but Desirée and Kiwi certainly did and trembled in fear. Desirée told herself at that moment that she would not summon any of her Crystals unless absolutely necessary, and would now look around the area to try and find somewhere where she could talk to someone about what was going on at the present moment.

As her eyes scanned across the room once more, they struck upon her mentor once again; Jiyu. Sure, she had already talked to her once again, but she knew that she was able to trust her the most out of everyone at this event. She knew that Jiyu would be able to comfort her, as she was feeling fear at the given moment. Desirée quickly jogged across the floor and met with Jiyu once again, which appeared to be speaking with two women that looked as powerful as they were stunning. "Ji... Jiyu, did you hear what the pumpkin said? I'm a bit nervous.." she told her mentor, as she turned toward the two women which she appeared to have possibly interrupted. "I'm sorry if I butted into a private conversation... I am Desirée Blooms, a member of Black Rose. I am also Jiyu's mentee." she told them, as she wiped away a single tear from her eye and bowed. Kiwi floated above Desirée, but did not say a word as he seemed to get quiet in times like this.

So you can throw me to the wolves
    Tomorrow I will come back
    Leader of the whole pack
    Beat me black and blue
    Every wound will shape me
Every scar will build my throne

Offering a slight bow and nod to the young woman approaching him, he was fond of the idea of dancing with another, but it had been far too long since he had the pleasure. She was kind and very elegant looking, and from Black Rose no less. It appeared he could not escape the clutches of such a guild. Nice to meet you Desiree, I'm Ardere. And yes Ruvel that would be called sake, a fairly common drink from my homeland. I've always been a fan. The question was not one he expected to be asked, almost strange even, but he did not mind being asked. It appeared that many mages were making introductions, and the fire mage was standing in the center of all of this.

Attempting to introduce himself to everyone was tiring, but he managed. This was until a strange explosion occurred and a rather interesting woman bumped into him. He could sense the fire magic from a mile away. His entire focus as a mage was on the element of flames, not to mention his keen slayer senses. But the woman before him was different. Who was she? No worries friend, are you alright? The woman was an attractive red head with a unique magical signature, her scent being one he could peg quite easily. Had a deity of sorts just bumped into him? Regardless, the guild master would help her regain her balance. Just be careful. No need to stress about it. What's your name?

Turning back to Desiree to engage in the aforementioned dancing, they were interrupted by what appeared to be an agent of their host. It seems we have other matters to worry about. Damn. He was interested in getting to know all of the mages at the party, but he had not forgotten the mysterious circumstances of his arrival. Appearing from flame and amidst the creepy decor, the pumpkin man was not out of place, but it was an odd appearance. For now, they were trapped. The Fire King could not help but wonder what the Regent's true goal was, but for now all he could do was socialize and figure it out. Chuckling at the comments of the others, he rubbed the back of his neck. Letting a slight sigh escape his pale lips, the air in the room had an odd feel to it. Halloween was quite the magical holiday.

Sol glanced over at Ardere after a few moments and he decided to get some information that he needed updated.”excuse me your Ardere Kasai from Infinity Hydra right? I believe my younger sister LeeAnn is in your guild as for what rank I don’t know” he said honestly not caring much about her rank since last he had seen of his sister she was friends or a bed warmer for some average joe and his kid and her power was sorely lacking to the point that he honestly saw her as no better then a simple civilian.”do you happen to know how she has been doing its been a long time since I’ve seen her much less talked to her for reasons I’d rather not bring into the light” he said with a small cough at the end. The dragon was no fool and knew that his reputation was well known in the legal guilds for his vicious and brutal methods for dealing with enemys and what he often did afterwards to feed himself. To be fare The slayer didn’t really care about his sisters well being , she along with most of his Family had turned their back on him and personaly he was fine with this since he saw them as do gooders and fools anyway.

Taking a small sniff Sol could tell just from  the scent of fire and smoke on Ardere that the element this man used was fire and he felt almost like an embodiment of said element just as he was the embodiment of shadows and poison, he knew that if Ardere was a slayer he most likely would smell the scent of poisons on him most likely the smell of nightshade and foxglove a floral yet sweet combination with the bitter tinge of toxin at the end of it. As the dragon brought his Kiseru back up to his lips he breathed only to find that his pipe had gone out and he sighed before  refilling the pipe once again with nightshade seeped tobacco and he reached for his matches before finding out that the box was empty. “Great just great and that was my only box on me” he grumbled before he sighed again and  lightly held out his pipe towards Ardere “Can you please give me a light I’m all out of matches” he asked politely. He may be a dark mage but Sol did know how to be civil and get along and considering that they were now all trapped in the same building they might as well get along. Even if the god slayer didn’t light his pipe Sol was sure he would get by somehow, at this point the just wanted to have a good time despite being surrounded by legal mages and  locked in for who knows how long but in his mind he was sure to over hear something that could be useful down the line at some point right at least that’s what he hoped.

Post by Irina Naginata 17th October 2017, 1:37 am

Irina found herself stabilized by the man whom she had just bumped into and in an awkward way that made her face go red. Ardere might have noticed that the goddesses hands were oven hot and only seemed to get hotter with her blush. "I...I..." Her mind spiraled in the situation of awkwardness, she had no idea what she was supposed to do in these kinds of situations. Continuing to stammer over her words she found herself taking a bow, her very stance was awkward and very unbecoming of a deity. "I-I-I'm so sorry for disturbing you mister Ardere sir, I-I-I'm Irina Naginata at y-y-your service." She found herself acting somewhat shy before him. Her eyes darted around the room as commotion began, she hadn't noticed some pumpkin creature appearing out of nowhere and then the announcement started. Of course the natural reaction of anyone suddenly trapped in a building a bunch of mages and supposedly crazy monsters outside was that of panic, Irina however did the natural thing that she would do in this situation. "Hmm, do you think those things outside would taste good fried with spices and noodles?" No one would even think that some kind of thing that could potentially murder you as some sort of delicacy, but to Irina everything was a curiosity to her and fear meant nothing, unless it were a god slayer. "Ah don't mind my ramblings, w-would you like a drink or something?" She once again ended up yammering towards Ardere remembering the situation she was in completely ignoring the other people who happened to have gathered around the man.

The show had begun, or rather the hype man had appeared. Frowning deeply Ryo glanced back at his partner shaking his head “I don’t like this Regent of the night. If she is another Vampire she’ll be able to sniff me out in a heartbeat. Not to mention this ‘Candy Corn Gala’ is almost as creepy as Pumpkin head over there.”

Gora smirked at his owner nodding his head “Yes, ‘Card King’ has such a nicer ring to it. Such a pity that ‘Lord of Pumpkins’ doesn’t flow as well.”

Ryo knew this was a slight against him still, he waved it away patting the great wolf on the head “You are rude. Even still, I don’t like being locked in a cage, no matter how nice of a cage that may be. However, I suppose we are properly in it now and don’t have any real options to get out. If this person is as confident as she thinks then she or the Pumpkin’s magic is likely to keep us all in here and hurt us if we try to leave.” He finished simply. There was nothing to do now but wait, so he decided to try and mingle with a few people and see what became of it.

Ryo looked around and he saw that Adere seemed to be the center of attention. He had met the guild master of Infinity Hydra before on a few occasions. Fighting to save Ace of Spades against the mighty metal and fire dragon that sought to bring it down, and later when he along with Frederick joined a large group to set some disaster to rights. With a groan and seeing the fact that Ardere was acting like the fire he could command and pulling so many moths to him. With a smirk and gave a great big shrug and moved along towards the cluster filling up his improvised goblet before he did. Gora looked at him in question only to have the red wearing mage shrug pulling a pin from his pocket. It was a broach that he had discovered quite by accident. Still, it was something that he decided he needed. Clipping it to the collar of his coat anyone who recognized it could tell that it was the emblem of the Wizard Saints.

Ryo barely cared that he had become a wizard saint, and had mostly accepted the honor in the name of Sabertooth and his guild master Kite. Now he broke into the group just in time to hear Sol ask for a light. Pulling forth one element card he flushed it full of his power setting the card ablaze and holding it out for Sol “I think I can save both you and Master Ardere some time.” He said clearly offering the light to the dragon slayer. When the Dragon Slayer had lit his pipe, he would slip the card into his sleeve with the flick of his wrist making it look like he made the card vanish. Presently he offered the same hand out to the Poison dragon “A pleasure. I am Ryo Knetegawa, Saint of Fate, and Sabertooth’s Card King.” He said as his typical introduction. The brilliant white of Gora’s fur was hard to hide around here and the head that was almost on level with Ryo’s own appeared to his golden eyes seeming to glow of their own accord. With a flick of his eyes Ryo took in the sight and smiled “This is Gora, my partner and son; after a fashion. Don’t mind him, he doesn’t like most people.” He explained waving the wolf down with his left hand to no real reaction from the great white lupine.

After that he would look to Ardere and decided to wait until the fire slayer engaged him in conversation. He was fairly popular and aside from this slayer he decided to engage it seemed that everyone else wanted to dance, or speak to Ardere as well. It helped that most of them were of the “Fairer” sex, so he didn’t feel that bad for taking the attention of this one interesting individual away from the Fire King.
