MERMAID PRINCESS HP:200||MP:55% WORDS COUNT: 436 TOTAL WORD COUNT: 5029/6000 UNIQUE ABILITIES: SPELLS: Aquatic Roar (-15) NOTES: | This new type of Charlotte was beginning to piss her off, especially when she said the words “Save it for Charlotte.” … Wait a minute, save it for Charlotte?? That wasn’t right… Charlotte was standing right in front of mermaid princess, just how could someone take over the body of her cute little Charlotte… She guessed she just had to go with it for the time being, especially since she didn’t know what else to do. In Charlotte’s defence, there were a couple of things that Aerwyna had to learn, she guessed that this was going to be one of the few things added to the list, so now she not only had to learn how to speak better, english and other basic compulsory stuff, but she also had to learn how to deal with Charlotte’s edgy antics whenever she died too… fun… “Pfft, only because I transform too…” Aerwyna snarkily replied, she wanted Charlotte back. She didn’t want someone who appeared to know everything, oh wait. They don’t… They don’t appear to know by the fact that Aerwyna can transform too, or they simply don’t care. All Aerwyna knew right now was that this different Charlotte wasn’t the Charlotte that she really liked or enjoyed speaking to. At all. She wanted the normal Charlotte back right now, but of course, that probably wasn’t going to happen anytime soon because of logic. Suddenly, a cannonball was aimed right for the new Charlotte, but managed to save herself in time as she formed a strange black thing before splitting the whole thing in two. It was indeed a strange thing to see, but there was nothing that the mermaid princess could do now but to help, maybe it would help bring back the normal Charlotte?? Oh that was how she hoped it would be. Inhaling a lot of air like all dragonslayers usually would, she then spotted the pirate leader with a strange mustache… it almost seemed to be too italian for a pirates, before releasing a strange noise like a dolphin and then pumped out a lot of water straight at the italian looking pirate! All in the name of Charlotte too. The moment Aerwyna finished that majestic piece of spellage, the pirate looked to the two whilst she was breathing heavily, that was indeed a lot of water to project for the mermaid princess and she hoped it would be more than enough to help with the cause. “Alright! Your move!” Aerwyna shouted to the person she believed that isn’t Charlotte. “It is time to kick butt and take some names back home with us!” |

Re: Child's first treasure
Aerwyna still had a lot to learn indeed. The one standing next to her was still Charlotte, but she was sleeping now. Seth was a mysterious god-like being who had no physical presence in the world of Earthland, or even this strange new island. He was but a concept realized, capable of pulling strings to his wishes, suppress the young white witch's mind into an endless darkness. So yes, the child in front of her was still the good old Charlotte. But her mind was asleep and her body remotely controlled by another, their strange magic of darkness adorning her body in form of sharp crystals. Those now golden eyes still reflected the innocence of this world, yet they were filled with merciless plans. Or rather, perhaps there were no emotions at all. An immortal creature living in completely separate dimension, could they even come close to understanding how mortals of Earthland could feel? Was that maybe why he treated the girl as nothing more than their puppet? With no concrete evidence, one could merely speculate and try to guess. And there was no one to confirm if that guess was correct or wrong.
The black crystal blade on her arm was cracked from making contact with something as heavy and fast as a cannon ball, but it was still very much usable. And the smile did not disappear from Charlotte's face either. This would be the last enemy they had to face in this isolated world, they were nothing more than moments away from victorious moment and ability to end their journey here, move on forward to tackle more important and interesting matters than finding some buried chest which would not even contain anything of proper value. Seth already knew what the reward would be, but they did not care in the slightest. After all, this was for the sake of Charlotte and no one else. Yes, the mermaid princess was here as well, but this would only contribute to her experience. It was the white witch who transported them into this strange world, her power finally unlocked from the clutches of mortal restrictions.
And as the mermaid's attack would finish, Charlotte assumed a predatory position on all four and with incredible speed started running towards the captain who tried to fire another cannonball, but to no avail. The water from Aerwyna's breath was enough to get all the gunpowder wet, which made him panic quite a bit. Pirate who sails the seven seas, and yet his greatest weakness is the water that surrounds him from all directions. How pathetic truly. With that uncanny smile of hers, The girl would start jumping around in almost dance-like manner, one slash after another directed at the enemy. And several of them managed to hit, forming red cavities across the man's skin, soon to let his blood out. But many were also blocked by the cannons he was capable of summoning, showing that he was not all that powerless even if he could not fire them. Extending the tail made out of black crystals, Charlotte would attempt to stop the floating cannon's movement, as well as the pirate's for a moment, opening yet another chance for the mermaid princess who surely had at least some energy left in her to send the midget pirate flying!

Re: Child's first treasure
Seth could only have Charlotte distance herself as Aerwyna started her own assault, given the chance that was provided and successfully landing her attacks. The golden eyed puppet would only stand some distance away, making sure to not be hit by anything dangerous as she observed the situation. Though the puppeteer obviously already knew how this little struggle would end. After all, they were drawing closer to the end with each moment, it was close now. But it could be at least argued that this mermaid princess could have chosen a little bit more elegant or power striking ability to finish the pirate leader off. Or maybe it was one of those situations where you would apply a spell fitting of the enemy's height. He was basically just a dwarf, so it would be perfectly natural to use only the smallest of spells. Seth chuckled on the thought, even if that could not be observed by any means known to men. What mattered was that the fighting was over and Aerwyna who readily fingered the pirate's garments found a map to their final destination on these shores.
It was strange, but she was still acting rather friendly towards her 'new' companion as she even made a comment that they were rather close. But the puppet wouldn't really reply to her by any means, not even lifting one of her fingers or performing other gestures that could fall into the body language category. Yes, she merely followed the mermaid as some ghost that did not need to say a single world, for she would be invisible to all. Not that it was actually the case, Seth was just not bothered with making the young girl's mouth flap again. Not for now. It was more amusing than anything to watch the inexperienced princess start digging in the snow white sugar, not even questioning if the treasure would be in this specific world. While this dimension did mirror Earthland to a great degree, there were obviously several differences to be had. And soon, she would find her answer to that question as the hole grew deeper and deeper, but nothing was found. Finally, the puppeteer would made their puppet sigh and cross her hands across her chest.
"Very well. I believe my duty is now over, as no other hostile forces remain in this place. You and Charlotte shall find the treasure and leave this island, getting closer to your ultimate end. I bid thee farewell, and next time, try to be a little bit faster Aerwyna Salvatore. Some heavenly forces do not like being kept waiting."
With those words, the world suddenly started shifting as the skies started painting themselves from the dreadful gray back to clear blue. And almost like a curtain or a mist being lifted from the island, all was back to normal. Sand instead of sugar, normal dirt instead of iron and crystal clear water instead of liquid meat. And the mermaid would find herself in a small dug up pit with a rather fancy looking chest right in front of her. She did find it, only in the wrong world. But now that they were back, it was right there. And so was Charlotte who stood above the hole, her eyes back to pure white and smile no longer that of a creepy unknown entity.
"Waah! That's amazing, Miss Aerwyna! I spaced out for a moment and you already managed to find the treasure, you're the best!"
