    Shadow Fox Demon Slayer

    Secondary Magic:

    Lost Magic

    Description:
    More commonly known as Hell Demon Slayer, this is a lost magic which can only be learned by implementing a specific lacrima into one’s body, or being taught directly by the Demons. In this case, Eris encountered a Shadow Fox Demon which was more than willing to share the secrets of the Slayer arts in exchange for cooperation. As the name suggests, the magic itself is designed to slay demons, as it is imbued with a holy element that caused most, if not every, spells to have a white shining aura and sometimes even color the shadows themselves white. However, the magic is still perfectly capable of destroying anyone and anything in the mage’s way, no matter their race or origin.

    Strengths:

    • Unlike regular Slayer magic, the Shadow Fox Demon Slayer behaves like a holder magic with most of its spell, making the magic itself more unique and less predictable for those who already have knowledge of how Slayer magic behaves
    • Shadows infused with a holy attribute cannot be devoured by dragon, nor god slayers no matter how hard they try
    • Has increased effectiveness against darkness, demon, and undead type non-human beings

    Weaknesses:

    • Due to the usually selfish nature of Slayer magic, even the Hell Demon Slayer has very little to offer in terms of support for allies or bystanders
    • Despite the infusion of holy element within the magic itself, light is still the greatest enemy of shadows and spells of that element will always win a struggle against spells of this magic, provided they are of equal or greater rank
    • While the magic allows Eris to consume spells of Shadow Dragon Slayers, she cannot do so against her God Slayer counterpart, nor consume her own spells
    • Eris can have a lot of difficulties fighting opponents of higher rank than her, as most unique abilities of this magic can only affect those of equal or lower rank than she is


    Lineage:



    Slayer Perks

    • 10% Buff to physical stats (strength, speed etc)
    • 10% Buff to senses (hearing, smell etc)
    • The ability to enter force after consuming enough of the element
    • The ability to consume their element to regain MP

    A resistance to their element shown by the following chart:

    • 2 ranks above: 0%
    • 1 rank above: 10%
    • Same rank: 25%
    • 1 rank below: 30%
    • 2 ranks below: 50%


    ~Demon Force~
    A Slayer must consume at least 70% magical energy from his respective element in order to achieve Force, however, their total magical energy must equal to 150% or higher. In other words, the Slayer can still use magic, but if it does not equal to at least 150% magical energy after consuming 70% magical energy, they must consume an appropriate amount to reach it. If the Slayer can achieve this within the next 5 posts, Force is activated. If they cannot, the magical energy is rapidly consumed by the Slayer's body, causing any magical energy that was above their maximum to go down to the max. The Slayer can then try to do this again if the opportunity is there.
    Demon Force highly increases the power of the Demon Slayer's magic, physical endurance, speed, and strength by 30% rather than 10%.
    The spell power of each rank is increased to 150%.
    In Demon Force, the Slayer gains an aura of their element that engulfs their body. Physical attacks deal status effects from their respective element. (Frostbite, Burn, Poison, etc.)
    During Demon Force the Slayer does not lose any mp from casting spells, but after it wears off is left with 5% mp.
    Lasts for 7 posts



    Unique Abilities

    Shadow Phantom
    ~terror hidden in the dark~
    Core ability of Eris’ fighting style. Under normal circumstances, the girl’s Slayer magic is completely sealed within her body as measures to directly control the magical pressure that may be put on those around her in day to day life.

    However, the moment she enters proper combat, the seal is broken and Eris enters Shadow Phantom mode. While in this state, her body is constantly enveloped by shadows that creep up her blades and perfectly coat them. This makes whatever weapon she is wielding into an extension of her very self, allowing her to cast her magic through the weapon itself similar to holder magic. But this does not mean she receives perks of actual holder magic, as the Slayer powers are still very much in her body and her weapons can break at any point. On the other hand, the shadow coating her blades also add to their effectiveness, boosting her melee damage by 50%.

    Curse of a Divine Demon
    ~Heaven and Hell~
    Holy shadows constantly creep up Eris' body and weapons in the combat. This effect may seem purely aesthetical at first glance, but that is far from the truth. For whenever she manages to hit someone, by it with a melee strike or one of her spells, she will place a physical curse onto the target. This generates one curse stack for the victim and one blessing stack on Eris herself. These will always be inflicted unless the opponent is of higher rank than the one who inflicts them. They cannot be removed by any magical means and the only way to have them fade away is to get more than 100 meters away from the demon slayer. This will initiate a single post duration where Eris can try to get the enemy into the range again. If she fails, all present stacks, both curse, and blessing ones will disappear, as one cannot exist without the another. As long as these stacks are present, the victim will also be drained of 5% HP every post.

    Decay of Flesh
    ~Curse of vulnerability~
    An ability that utilizes the curse stacks placed on the enemy. Not only will those affected by curse start to lose their selves, their bodies will also start to slowly wither away, their defenses crumble. For every curse stack placed on the enemy, they will lose 10% of their damage resistance, if they have any. This caps off at five stacks.

    Faltering Resolve

    An ability that utilizes the curse stacks placed on the enemy. Not only will those affected by curse start to lose their selves, their bodies will also start to slowly wither away, their strength fading.     Ascendance of a Demon
    ~Superior Existence~
    Eris has reached heights of power that many can only dream of. Joining ranks of the strongest creatures alive, her very existence entered a new state, one that is above regular mortals. Just like mere two-dimensional beings cannot ever hope to interact with a three-dimensional one, those who are of lower rank that Eris become unable to feel her magical presence at all. To them, she will appear as a regular person who possesses no magic what so ever, unless she deliberately lowers or completely cancels the effects of this trait of hers. The same is also applied to her presence within the material world, as she almost simply "floats" through it. In response to this, her movements and actions outside of casting spells do not produce any sounds whatsoever.

    Demon of Speed
    ~Moving like Shadows~
    After some time, Eris became part of her own shadow and those that are present in Earthland. With something like that, the woman's base speed changed in accordance to her very magic. In other words, her speed will be equal to the speed of single target spell of her own rank. While this can give Eris a considerable boost in speed, it also means that she cannot accept any other speed increases from anyone, not ever herself and her own magic or items. Due to this unfortunate fact, it also makes the girl very vulnerable to speed decreasing abilities, as even the weaker ones will take a considerable amount of speed from her. (Works only in non-pvp situations.)


    Vivid Dreaming
    ~The one who Dreams~

    Whenever Eris falls asleep, she will remain fully aware throughout her dreaming as though if she was fully awake. This allows her to travel through dreamland and communicate with spirits or other people who are dreaming, though they may dismiss the dream when they wake. (Obtained by completely Defender of Dreamland job)

    ~Curse of disability~
    An ability that utilizes the curse stacks placed on the enemy. A curse is something that eats away on being's very existence, forcing the universe to slowly forget them as they fall to the ground, unable to even lift a single finger. The further this curse goes and eats away at them, the weaker they will become, the more they will lose until the curse is finally cured.
    Once at least two curse stacks are placed onto an enemy, they will lose the ability to run teleport or transport away in any way, preventing them from running.
    Once at least four curse stacks are placed onto an enemy, they will lose the ability to be healed in any way known and unknown, preventing them to safe themselves.
    Once at least six curse stacks are placed onto an enemy, they will lose their sense of sight, smell and hearing completely, left with very little that could even tell them what is going on.
    Once at least eight curse stacks are placed onto an enemy, they will receive spell damage based on Eris' rank, slowly finishing them off. This will happen every two stacks above the eight one.

    ~Blessing of whirlwind~
    An ability that utilizes the blessing stacks placed on Eris when she inflicts curse on others. As her enemies slowly fall apart, she instead grows stronger, for the blessing caused by a magic meant to slay demons is as rotten as a light magic wielded by a mass murderer. For every blessing stack placed on herself, she gains extra 10mph to her speed. This caps off at ten stacks.

    White Lotus
    ~Blessing of indominance~
    An ability that utilizes the blessing stacks placed on Eris when she inflicts curse on others. As her enemies slowly fall apart, she instead grows stronger, for the blessing caused by a magic meant to slay demons is as rotten as a light magic wielded by a mass murderer. For every three new blessing stacks, Eris will gain a full body shield made out of white shadows that are capable of blocking H-ranked damage. However, these do not stack and if the shield is not broken before Eris gains enough new blessing stacks, nothing will happen. This shield can also only protect Eris and no one else.

    ~Curse of disability~
    An ability that utilizes the curse stacks placed on the enemy. A curse is something that eats away on being's very existence, forcing the universe to slowly forget them as they fall to the ground, unable to even lift a single finger. The further this curse goes and eats away at them, the weaker they will become, the more they will lose until the curse is finally cured.
    Once at least two curse stacks are placed onto an enemy, they will lose the ability to run teleport or transport away in any way, preventing them from running.
    Once at least four curse stacks are placed onto an enemy, they will lose the ability to be healed in any way known and unknown, preventing them from saving themselves.
    Once at least six curse stacks are placed onto an enemy, they will lose their sense of sight, smell and hearing completely, left with very little that could even tell them what is going on.
    Once at least eight curse stacks are placed onto an enemy, they will receive spell damage based on Eris' rank, slowly finishing them off. This will happen every two stacks above the eighth one.

    Decay of Flesh

Not only will those affected by curse start to lose their selves, their bodies will also start to slowly wither away, their defenses crumble. For every curse stack placed on the enemy, they will lose 10% of their damage resistance, if they have any. This caps off at five stacks.

    An ability that utilizes the curse stacks placed on the enemy. Not only will those affected by curse start to lose their selves, their bodies will also start to slowly wither away, their strength fading. For every curse stack placed on the enemy, they will lose 10% of their attack damage after every single one of their buffs is calculated. This caps off at five stacks.

    ~Superior Existence~
    Eris has reached heights of power that many can only dream of. Joining ranks of the strongest creatures alive, her very existence entered a new state, one that is above regular mortals. Just like mere two-dimensional beings cannot ever hope to interact with a three-dimensional one, those who are of lower rank that Eris become unable to feel her magical presence at all. To them, she will appear as a regular person who possesses no magic what so ever, unless she deliberately lowers or completely cancels the effects of this trait of hers. The same is also applied to her presence within the material world, as she almost simply "floats" through it. In response to this, her movements and actions outside of casting spells do not produce any sounds whatsoever.

    Demon of Speed
    ~Moving like Shadows~
    After some time, Eris became part of her own shadow and those that are present in Earthland. With something like that, the woman's base speed changed in accordance to her very magic. In other words, her speed will be equal to the speed of single target spell of her own rank. While this can give Eris a considerable boost in speed, it also means that she cannot accept any other speed increases from anyone, not ever herself and her own magic or items. Due to this unfortunate fact, it also makes the girl very vulnerable to speed decreasing abilities, as even the weaker ones will take a considerable amount of speed from her.


    Vivid Dreaming
    ~The one who Dreams~

    Whenever Eris falls asleep, she will remain fully aware throughout her dreaming as though if she was fully awake. This allows her to travel through dreamland and communicate with spirits or other people who are dreaming, though they may dismiss the dream when they wake.     Shadow Phantom: Can you take out the 50% for weapon damage? It's a given for melee damage, so the damage that your weapon would inflict is increased by 50% melee damage as that is a melee strike.

    Curse of a Divine Demon: I know this, I use this myself, so the drain of both MP and HP per turn is a bit much. I ask you decrease this to either MP or HP. The stacks are definitely a good effect alongside this, which is why I ask for this edit.

    Fox Demon's Dominance: All right, the whole stacking effects thing has been done with, so I ask you choose one of these effects and stack requirements. If it's the last one, I ask you clarify that you don't inflict additional damage if for example, Elyx goes from 9 stacks back to 8. If it's the teleport/run lock, I suggest removing the running part. People aren't meant to be so hopeless, teleportation is already a huge punishment.

    Decay of Flesh: No problem here!

    Faltering Resolve: Same here

    Ascendance of a Demon: Approved

    Demon of Speed: Have this only target your own spells. Otherwise, you can easily dodge every single spell attack from your opponent by targeting their stuff.

    Description:
    More commonly known as Hell Demon Slayer, this is a lost magic which can only be learned by implementing a specific lacrima into one’s body, or being taught directly by the Demons. In this case, Eris encountered a Shadow Fox Demon which was more than willing to share the secrets of the Slayer arts in exchange for cooperation. As the name suggests, the magic itself is designed to slay demons, as it is imbued with a holy element that caused most, if not every, spells to have a white shining aura and sometimes even color the shadows themselves white. However, the magic is still perfectly capable of destroying anyone and anything in the mage’s way, no matter their race or origin.

    Strengths:

    • Unlike regular Slayer magic, the Shadow Fox Demon Slayer behaves like a holder magic with most of its spell, making the magic itself more unique and less predictable for those who already have knowledge of how Slayer magic behaves
    • Shadows infused with a holy attribute cannot be devoured by dragon, nor god slayers no matter how hard they try
    • Has increased effectiveness against darkness, demon, and undead type non-human beings

    Weaknesses:

    • Due to the usually selfish nature of Slayer magic, even the Hell Demon Slayer has very little to offer in terms of support for allies or bystanders
    • Despite the infusion of holy element within the magic itself, light is still the greatest enemy of shadows and spells of that element will always win a struggle against spells of this magic, provided they are of equal or greater rank
    • While the magic allows Eris to consume spells of Shadow Dragon Slayers, she cannot do so against her God Slayer counterpart, nor consume her own spells
    • Eris can have a lot of difficulties fighting opponents of higher rank than her, as most unique abilities of this magic can only affect those of equal or lower rank than she is


    Lineage:



    Slayer Perks

    • 10% Buff to physical stats (strength, speed etc)
    • 10% Buff to senses (hearing, smell etc)
    • The ability to enter force after consuming enough of the element
    • The ability to consume their element to regain MP

    A resistance to their element shown by the following chart:

    • 2 ranks above: 0%
    • 1 rank above: 10%
    • Same rank: 25%
    • 1 rank below: 30%
    • 2 ranks below: 50%


    ~Demon Force~
    A Slayer must consume at least 70% magical energy from his respective element in order to achieve Force, however, their total magical energy must equal to 150% or higher. In other words, the Slayer can still use magic, but if it does not equal to at least 150% magical energy after consuming 70% magical energy, they must consume an appropriate amount to reach it. If the Slayer can achieve this within the next 5 posts, Force is activated. If they cannot, the magical energy is rapidly consumed by the Slayer's body, causing any magical energy that was above their maximum to go down to the max. The Slayer can then try to do this again if the opportunity is there.
    Demon Force highly increases the power of the Demon Slayer's magic, physical endurance, speed, and strength by 30% rather than 10%.
    The spell power of each rank is increased to 150%.
    In Demon Force, the Slayer gains an aura of their element that engulfs their body. Physical attacks deal status effects from their respective element. (Frostbite, Burn, Poison, etc.)
    During Demon Force the Slayer does not lose any mp from casting spells, but after it wears off is left with 5% mp.

    Unique Abilities

    Shadow Phantom
    ~terror hidden in the dark~
    Core ability of Eris’ fighting style. Under normal circumstances, the girl’s Slayer magic is completely sealed within her body as measures to directly control the magical pressure that may be put on those around her in day to day life.

    However, the moment she enters proper combat, the seal is broken and Eris enters Shadow Phantom mode. While in this state, her body is constantly enveloped by shadows that creep up her blades and perfectly coat them. This makes whatever weapon she is wielding into an extension of her very self, allowing her to cast her magic through the weapon itself similar to holder magic. But this does not mean she receives perks of actual holder magic, as the Slayer powers are still very much in her body and her weapons can break at any point. On the other hand, the shadow coating her blades also add to their effectiveness, boosting her melee damage by 50%.

    Curse of a Divine Demon
    ~Heaven and Hell~
    Holy shadows constantly creep up Eris' body and weapons in the combat. This effect may seem purely aesthetical at first glance, but that is far from the truth. For whenever she manages to hit someone, by it with a melee strike or one of her spells, she will place a physical curse onto the target. This generates one curse stack for the victim and one blessing stack on Eris herself. These will always be inflicted unless the opponent is of higher rank than the one who inflicts them. They cannot be removed by any magical means and the only way to have them fade away is to get more than 100 meters away from the demon slayer. This will initiate a single post duration where Eris can try to get the enemy into the range again. If she fails, all present stacks, both curse, and blessing ones will disappear, as one cannot exist without the another. As long as these stacks are present, the victim will also be drained of 5% HP every post.
