Shaking her head in disgust and holstering her pistol, Nicolette would broadcast another message to all troops under her command. "All units, be careful of traitors in your midst! I have eliminated their rebellious leader, but they are scattered among you. Caution at all times, and do not fear retreat. Do so if you must, live to fight another day. But do not let them break your spirit!" After this message went through she would make a few hand motions to those around her, the ones watching knowing exactly what she meant and preparing to fight off any kind of assassin that might try to make a move.
After that, pointing at the girl she seemed to take a liking to now, she would give one more order. "You seem like you could do something useful, do what you can to make this end quickly. I'll get a message to the other hired mages as well!" With that said she would relay a message to the man that had dropped the map inside of her head. She simply wanted him to tell the other mages to make their moves now before the Rune Knights enveloped them and it became a sad rout that they would have to try and escape.
Off in the distance, a crew of would-be reporters would find that the debris and explosions, mixed with the mechanical workings nearby them, kept them from getting a clear picture of anything in this battle. What a shame that was after the exceedingly dangerous trip they must have taken to get to the battlefield and manage to set up a functioning camera system.
Navrick soldiers died left and right, and if it kept up she would have no choice but to call them back. She could not let the entire army of the country die in vain. At worst they would fall back and let the land fall while the magic item this war was about was moved to a more secure location; if it was even still there after all this chaos.
- notes:
RIP that NPC. Should have listened to orders after the warning she was given. Also, she seemed to teleport between spots, and THERE ARE NO ARCHIVE MAGES NOR A COMMAND CENTER OFF THE BATTLEFIELD.
Dust and debris, as well as the large amount of electrical output from Navrick machinery on the battlefield, will not let any broadcasts through no matter their strength.
Navrick soldier's, being unused to fighting against mages and magical beings, are at half their effective count from the beginning of the topic.
All mages in the fight have been asked to try and end this battle quick. Either take out that Leader, or remove enough opposing mages to make them retreat.
