Just as Neyvahn thought: A whole bunch of psychos and hot headed mages. A little kleptomaniac was even thrown into the mix, and now his blue skull choker was missing... Yeah, maybe he should have listened to his gut and just passed on joining the 'party.'
He grumbled a little bit and watched as the tiny tinker thief ran around, barely out of reach of an obviously angry host. "I shouldn't have come here," Neyvahn thought.
"I could argue against that."
With a groan, Neyvahn stood up and walked away from the fire. He had no idea where his possession was, but someone sure knew... and he suspected the little klepto. After all, the shiny blue skull was probably staring right at her. The silver-haired bakeneko began walking towards the little girl when another dragon slayer spoke up in an attempt to calm the chaos. If Neyvahn remembered correctly, it was the lightning dragon slayer, Tamiki- no wait... Takumi. Yeah, Takumi.
After sitting down with a quick sigh, the lightning dragon slayer spoke out again."Give Frey a break guys. She is still a kid. And if any of you lay a finger on my teammate, you'll face the wrath of the lightning slayer." For a quick second, Neyvahn just scoffed. The white headed mage made a threat to an entire room of other dragon slayers? Please. The kid's aura wasn't exactly bursting at the seams with power, so his 'wrath' probably wasn't very intimidating. To Neyvahn, it was a moron move to make, nothing more than an idle threat. It was something an idiot would do.
But to be honest, Neyvahn did the same thing more than once.
Takumi seemed a little younger than Neyvahn... maybe around 19 or so, and Ney could see a lot of similarities between the two of them. These similarities ran deeper than physical traits. The tough guy act, the serious demeanor, the 'hero of the people'-- or in this case, the 'defender of the klepto'. Neyvahn remembered when he had similar missions and goals.
Nostalgia only visited Neyvahn every once in a while, and today was another time to visit. With a quick chuckle, Neyvahn watched as Takumi was criticized for that very comment by Sol, and no doubt by Hera. Perhaps that was Takumi's lesson on humility, much like Neyvahn's when he first met Miss Hyoujin... devil that dog was. Neyvahn shifted his hood and slid it off the top of his head, revealing a silver pair of cat ears. Hopefully a room of dragon slayers wouldn't find that odd, especially with what looked like a dragon-human hybrid dangling the little rascal of a mage with her tail. Regardless of the reactions / lack of reactions, Neyvahn would walk up to Takumi and stand next to him.
"Tough crowd, huh?" he started, attempting to break the ice. "Not surprising, considering the people in the room..." Neyvahn held his hand out for Takumi to shake. "I'm Neyvahn, White Dragon Slayer. Nice to know there's someone here who... what is that smell?" Cut short by a fishy smell, Neyvahn turned his attention to the source of the stench: another figure he had not heard walking in.
It was a girl in high heels. The woman coughed a little before introducing herself... well, kinda. She didn't exactly say her name, but it could be assumed that she was the last dragon slayer to join the party: The Water Dragon Slayer. Neyvahn didn't say anything, but granted that she looked in his direction, he would nod a silent greeting to her with a subtle smile on his face. Hopefully with all ten dragon slayers present, the chaos would quiet down and they could get down to business. After all, Neyvahn didn't come here to socialize.
