Description: Shadow Dragon Slayer is a magic specifically designed to hunt down and slay dragons that embody the element of shadows, giving their wielders the ability to mimic and take on the physiology to that of a shadow dragon. Due to Aethers lack of flesh, Aether is unable to implant the lacrima into his body to obtain powers, nor is he capable of absorbing it into his bones as it would contradict his abilities as a Bone Demon Slayer. So by his creative thinking, he used the a similar process to what he did with the Bone God Demon Slayer lacrima, melting it down and melding it into special clothing that he had made from his Kakuhou tendrils, replacing their ability to manipulate space with all the abilities of a Shadow Dragon Slayer.
But unbeknownst to Aether when he was bonding the lacrima to the clothes, there existed the remains of the memories of the Shadow Dragon that the lacrima took its power from, with one key detail missing, the dragons name. Aether’s clothing, now bonded with the lacrima, houses the memories of the nameless shadow dragon to which Aether has given it a temporary nickname, Nox.

Shadow Coat: As Aether’s clothes are imbued with the abilities and memories of a Shadow Dragon, they are capable of taking on a shadow form, making it so that lower ranked magical attacks and melee attacks phase right through his body for a 2.5% MP cost. Doesn’t affect light spells.
Shadow Movement: Once every 3 posts, for the cost of 5% mana, Aether is capable of instantly teleporting by turning into shadows and reappearing in a shadow of his choice within his line of sight, moving 20 meters (+15 meters for every rank above D)
Shadow Overpowered (S-Rank unlock): For 5% more mana, the next shadow spell that Aether casts overpowers any and all same-ranked light spells.

Strengths:
- As a Shadow Dragon Slayer, Aether is 50% faster when in dark areas and during the times of dusk till dawn, even capable of seeing through the darkness as though it was still bright out.
- Allows Aether to access a small shadow plain where he can store and retrieve weapons and items
Weaknesses:
- Near-useless in places with intense light
- Only capable of consuming pure shadows, making him incapable of consuming Shadow variants of Demon and God Slayers
- Light-based spells overpower spells of equal rank

Description: Aether manipulates his own shadow to take the form of a circle beneath him before casting it to move outwards quickly in a 20 meter radius at a rate of 20m/s. All those who are caught by the shadow find themselves unable to use any movement-based abilities and a 25% debuff to their speed.
Strengths:- Prevents many movement options. (eg: teleportation, dashes, quick step, sudden movement, blink, speed buffs, etc…)
Weaknesses:- Only effects those in range
- Doesn’t affect those who are not touching the ground

Description: Aether generates 5 spikes of shadow which he uses to pin a targeted shadow in place, affecting the target directly where they will be unable to actually feel the pins but they will be unable to move their body for a short duration, leaving them incapable of using spells that require specific movements in order to cast. Only works on targeted shadows within a 10 meter radius.
Strengths:- Effects anything with a shadow, including shadow-based spells.
Weaknesses:- Only effects those in range

Description: Aether generates a vast amount of shadow and pools it into the shape of an orb, hovering in the mid-air before it separates itself into three smaller orbs which expand out as they continue to absorb more shadow, eventually taking on the form of a small pack of wolves, their forms shrouded by thick, wispy shadow, the only implication of their heads being a singular white eye, mouths that seem to be connected by strands of shadow and constantly grinning, and a white nose. Each wolf has 75% of the health of a B-Rank regular summon.- Spoiler:

- Shadow Body: Each wolf is incapable of being staggered or knocked back by any spells/abilities, taking 75% of the damage from the attack as it passes straight through their bodies.
- active:
- Cry of the Wolf: Similar to a dragon’s roar, the wolves build up shadows within their mouths before launching a 5x5 meter cylindrical vortex of shadow towards a target at a speed of 35m/s with a range of 50m. If launched side-by-side the vortexes merge to become one and become a 15x15 cylindrical vortex with a speed of 50m/s and a range of 50 meters. Each individual vortex deals 0.5 B-Rank damage, the combined vortex deals 1.5 B-Rank damage.
- Good for overpowering a target with numbers or for clearing out a large number of weak enemies
Weaknesses:- Light based spells deal double damage to each wolf

Description: Aether pools a large amount of shadows around his arm and hand, pulling his arm back before throwing a straight punch, twisting his hand as he manipulates the shadow to shoot forward from his fist as he swings, causing it to spiral and penetrate through defences of equal or lower rank, reaching up to 80 meters at a speed of 60m/s before branching out along its path with numerous spikes of shadow, piercing anyone and anything in a 5 meter radius around the original shadow thrust.
Strengths:- Branching spikes make for a good surprise attack for those who barely dodge the initial strike
Weaknesses:- Being so long, the spikes that protrude from the initial strike only deal 75% A-Rank damage if they come into contact compared to the full amount on the initial strike. If caught by the initial strike they are unable to be caught by the branching shadows.
- Predictable attack that can be avoided easily due to the indication of shadows forming around the arm and the need to pull the arm back before striking.
- Branching spikes make for a good surprise attack for those who barely dodge the initial strike

Description: Aether generates and pools all surrounding shadows in a 100m radius, even shadow-based spells are not spared from his manipulation as they are rendered null-and-void in his presence. As he pools the shadow his clothes seemingly absorb it to fuel the spell before suddenly cutting off the shadow supply as the upper back area of his suit seems to expand and pulse before releasing a large pulse of shadow dealing 50% S-Rank damage in a 50 meter area. From the area on his back, the shadows pool back to it and begin to take the form of a large, dragon-like creature seemingly made from liquid shadow. Two large spikes protrude from each shoulder, large wings each spanning 20 meters easily begin to encircle Aether as the creature continues to form itself, two large muscular arms sprout from beneath its wings with white gloves, an ultra-greatsword wielded in both hands with great ease. Finally before it brings its wings apart suddenly to reveal Aether and itself the shadow dragon’s neck grows to an elongated length, its muscular features across its body becoming more toned before finally spreading apart suddenly and releasing a large gust of wind that knocks away any sort of incoming projectiles and scattering rubble. With its large wings, it is capable of carrying Aether away from harm.- Spoiler:

- Swift Shadow: Due to its large size and strength it might seem like a slow moving creature, however its speed is unmatched despite wielding two ultra-greatswords, further increasing its damage when striking with these weapons by 50% due to its high strength and speed.
- In exchange for entirely relying on Aether moving around, the shadow puppet can take an extra 50% more damage than others of its rank.
Weaknesses:- Due to balancing, the Shadow Puppet lacks an active ability.
- Whilst large, strong, and fast, it can only follow the commands of Aether and is incapable of making its own decisions. Thereby making it near-useless when defending Aether’s back as Aether cannot see behind him at all times, prompting him to be on the defensive more often.
