yuki vs takumi(duel)

Takumi was waiting, ready for his opponent. He grinned, always happy to have a little duel. This one he had to win. Takumi stood waiting, shifting his weight, pet at his side in human form.

The location was the arena and the opponent was none other than a ice mage, Yuki feeling kinship to fellow casters of ice and chill, however this one in particular interested her so it was doubly important that she met this fellow mage of a legal guild - that last part was truly a shame as they would likely clash over the factor of GUILDS while she only wanted to become friendly. It was truly a shame that it came to this. Regardless, the figure did not relent. She stepped forwards through the other exit of the arena, the indirect sunlight cast upon the hood of her cloak as she stepped from shadow. At one side of her was the buckler and the other was the cavalry rifle, loaded and ready to go.

Takumi let his own cloak flutter to the ground, blue eyes sparkling. He cracked his knuckles and opened up with a favorite move of his- ice make sword. Takumi slid towards her cautiously, testing her defense and looking for an opening. Meanwhile, his pet had dissapeared.

Her cloak did not drop but rather maintained around her shoulder with a smile, hand spinning with a flick of the wrist ad it yanked up at the same time to cause the carbine to snap up into her grasp - the mahogany body glinting in sunlight as she moved her eye to the iron-sights and released the metal jackets off towards the fore of Takumi. Her cheshire grin had already been replaced by a look of icy dispassion, as she burst into action - well, not literally. black circles were weaved forth as the right arm was placed within the nexus, midnight runes now crossing along the expanse of the arm. In an instant, as the dark energy convalesced upon the arm, the colour seemed to drain from it as the fingernails lengthened and formed into talons. Next, the moisture itself seemed to freeze over as the ripples of dark energy growed and turned to frost, then finally the icy blade slid out as if emerging from another dimension. finally sparkling snowflakes blew over her as wings of ice formed at her back and stretched outwards.

Spells: Ice Queen's Majesty, Vampire Soul (Arm)

Takumi began slowly circling, waiting for an opening. He knew ice make floor was pointless now, so he instead whistled. His pet ran up in direwolf form, and takumi climbed onto his pet's back, ready to go on the offensive.

Yuki quickly releases another three shots at his direction before loosing the carbine and allowing it to fall on the sling. She then broke into a dash directly towards Takumi, taking to the air before slamming down at him with two swords moving in tandem. The first came from the Kriegsmesser, bringing the sword down to his crown, while simultaneously bringing Majesty to rake across his torso.

Takumi dodged, lightning quick, though not before her sword cut his chest, a shallow but bloody cut. The ice image winced, but kept moving. He wasn't letting a little cut stop him. Ever.

The shallow cut was more than enough for Majesty to do it's dirty deed and Leo would find himself frozen in place rather than moving about like he had planned. She would swing both swords at him again, taking advantage of the unique facet of her magic which kept him frozen in place before taking to a backwards leap and began to form a black ritual symbol at her feet,

Damage to Takumi Calculation:

Takumi noticed he was slowing down. "Shit!" Bush then he smiled. He had resistance to things like this, and probably wouldn't entirely be stopped. But just to be sure, he used something that might keep her busy for awhile- ice make dragon.

The dragon was a surprise of it's own and caused her to backpedal a distance by raising her ice wings and hovering back until she was sure this thing was not going to hit her.  Moving her hand up and angling it at an arc to up at the black dragon, Yuki slammed her foot into a nearby puddle and released a series of objects into the air which would quickly hurl themselves at the ice dragon - three spears of blackened ice. The first was thrown to where the dragon was at that moment, while the other two would approach from the dragon's right and left.

Mana: 65%

The ice image laughed. "Did you really think that that spell could stop me, who has natural resistance to ice magic?" Takumi was nearly ready... perfect. His pet came shooting out of the sky in his falcon form at his whistle. The shapeshifter flew in yuki's face, aiming for those eyes of hers. The falcon raked his talons across her face, leaving bloody scratches.

Fortunately for her, the three ice spikes had merely been a diversion, as the shapeshifter came directly down at her in the form of a falcon, she presented to have taken more of an effect from it as normal, tumbling to the side to reveal the long lance of ice which then launched itself into a lunge towards the bird at nearly point-blank range. The tumbled turned into a sideways roll, which quickly brought herself to her knees as one hand touched the ground gingerly.

The bird managed to just barely duck, losing some feathers. It turned into a human boy with glasses, who threw himself at yuki with a cry. Takumi, meanwhile, snuck up behind yuki and aimed a strike at her pressure points, that if landed would disable her arm.

Unfortunately for both, this was, in-fact, a Ruse to draw them both into Yuki which could only serve to help her rather than harm her as the two attempted. As the two attacked in tandem, a smile formed on Yuki's lips. As both were mere feet away, she finally raised her right hand as ice released all around her into a massive area of effect which flash-froze the environs and brought all that ice down into the center of effect. Boh would feel the pain as they were frozen solid as they WERE. The ice would shatter, as well as Yuki's requip as her demonic arm returned to normal/ Finally, she raised an ice spike cascading into the both of them.

Takumi was breathing hard, his clothes now partially in rags. The ice image knew what he had to do. He activated his ua, creating an ice storm swirling out from him. (Does 75% rank damage +25% over next 3 turns)

The storm was created without any form of resistance by the woman, she was already preparing for another attack before then, and it was still lingering in the air. As the ice storm began to pick up, this only fueled her spell as Eighteen spears of black ice then rained down upon from literally all angles except from beneath him - four to the fore and back, three to the left and right, and four from above in a rain of black hue. No matter which hit him, they would explode with concussive force. Regardless, she quickly hopped back and cleared fifty feet away from him.

Takumi looked around. And decided to use icemake: sword. He charged yuki, using the storm as cover. He swiped the ice sword at her arm, trying to disable her. His sword only nicked her, but it was enough, for now. Takumi knew blood loss will eventually slow a person as it had slowed him.

Black lines curved outwards in every which way as a series of lines enfolded into twin circles that stretched around the form of Yuki at the eaves of her feet - black taint awash around her entire body in streaks of pale hue. Around her right arm now, which lie outstretched to perpendicular of her body, black energy manifested into a pair of crimson lines which formed circles that now enmeshed the arm. Now, as he charged her the black lines and crimson line encircled each other as the ritual was complete and a Draugr stepped into the space in-front of Yuki to take the attack on his shield. Yuki herself bound over the Draugr and attacked from behind with the Kriegsmesser on her shoulder (Does 8 Dam) and down into the back of Leo if he didn't turn around The both of them jumped into a co-operative attack!

Takumi whipped around, deadly fast, like a snake. His blue eyes narrowed, and he raised the ice sword, determined to block her. She wasn't going to hit him again! Meanwhile, Wist had crept up on the Draugr in his wolf form, attacking it from behind.

Shge was simply faster than he was and her blade managed to bite into him - though only partially (We'll say 4 Dmg), as she tore up into the sky with a strong leap and fired down a homing black of ice at him using Frost bolt (15 Ice Damage w/ your Resistance) before diving down and landing on Wist with her Kriegsmesser. This would free the skeleton to attack Takumi from the front as intended as the two of them switched gears.

Takumi roared, a sound like a lion's. The ice mage drew his sword, Cometfall. "Void beast: flaming charge!" He yelled. several wolves made of fire erupted from the weapon to charge at both yuki and her draugr. Takumi intended to defy her the entire way. He would go down fighting if he was going down.

There was a reason which Yuki ignored the wolves as she brought her sword through the side of Wist and raking around to cause severe damage to the pet. As the Draugr brought his axe down upon Leo, the wolves came in however strangely enough most of them hadn't even reachd the shambling skeleton as three were ripped out of the sky and tossed aside as the ice phoenix Lapella come downwards and through them. Any wolf caught within her claws would also have D-rank spell damage of ice done to them before they were release to fall to the ground. Takumi could deal with the Draugr easily enough but now he had the ice phoenix Lapella to contend with.

"Wist!" called Takumi. His pet appeared again, in falcon form, diving at 200km/h at the ice phoenix. Takumi, meanwhile, struck out at Yuki with cometfall, which was giving off large amounts of sweltering heat and almost blinding light.

"This sucks. It looks like we're gonna be here forever, and even then, the outcome won't be all too pretty. I suppose it's time to run some interference."

A man stood from his position, safely hidden away from general sight. This was one of these times where he just wanted to be alone and watch something, but he felt that he wouldn't be having that luxury today. He didn't know why, but he felt that he had to do something to make things a bit more interesting, or just opt to get his guildmate the hell out of there before he got himself killed.

Ultra was wearing a rather common wardrobe of his: A pair of cargo pants, combat boots, and a black sweater with a weaving of a horse on it. It wasn't the most combat-ready costume, but it was better than being butt-naked.

He would walk forwards, so that he was standing on the ledge leading into the battlefield. Some wolves. A skeleton or two. Takumi. Some chick. And a bird.

I could work with this, Ultra thought. He would then jump down into the stadium itself, two identical pistols materializing in his left and right hands. They were custom in design: Red handle, silver nozzle.

He would not hesitate in firing a shot from the gun in his right hand to the Skeleton, as soon as he got within punching range. If he happened to be lucky, it'd die in a single hit. If not, well it is what it is.

"Looks like you're having a hell of a time getting your ass whooped," Ultra would say to start the mood.

As Wist attempted to free itself from Yuki, it would have been thrown to the ground with force as the Phoenix Lapella quickly brought herself into the eagle with force. It had not seen that Yuki was attacking it and for that the bird would pay. As for Leo, who now faced off with the woman, it seemed he had some help from among the stands as Yuki now faced the two of them. As from the bullets from Magnus, they had found themselves frozen in place. Now, the both of them would experienced this woman's unabridged force as she had been holding back until now. In a flash, Yuki had changed from her usual delf into a black-haired vampire woman with two large, crimson wings. Majesty formed in her hand as she released a bolt of ice towards Leo with her free hand. This spell was almost invisible to the eye and hard to avoid, and when it hit Leo, an ouroboros hex would form on his neck. Now, she brought her sword down on an unsuspecting Leo (Does B-Rank Damage) and released a blast of her Polar Ray at him (Does C-Rank Ice Damage). Lapella could keep Wist busy.
