Description:
Even before magic, instruments of music held power over human hearts. They could captivate and awe onlookers for as long as history was penned to paper, and perhaps even before that. The power of music had always been alive for little Clara, and through hard work and study, she brings that life to the foreground with her magic; Requip - The Virtuoso.
Other Requip mages summon forth impressive weapons or don immaculate armors to attack relentlessly or guard against the most fearsome of attacks. Clara belongs to neither camp. Her pocket dimension is reserved exclusively for instruments not of war, but of music. From classical to contemporary, her instruments sing with life and magic in her hands. Each one she plays with confident skill and an apparent lack of fear.
When she summons her instruments in battle, her goal is to aid allies with her songs and magic. As such, her own personal combat efficiency is rather low, though she does have options when cornered or alone. When presented with the option however, fighting alongside someone will always be the first choice.

Strengths:
- Support: through the songs that she plays, she inspires or aids allies, spurring them towards feats of greatness.
- Versatility: with her wide range of instruments, Clara can adapt her song to many different allies and situations, from social to combat.
Weaknesses: - Weaponless/Armorless: Clara summons neither armor nor weapons, Clara relies on the magic of her instruments to defend herself. She does have a few different outfits, but they don't offer any additional protection.
- Separation from Instruments: Most passive abilities only have an effect if the instrument is being played, so if she’s separated from the instrument, she loses both types of magic.
- Soundless: The magic from her instruments are primarily based on their sound, and as such techniques that nullify her sound can cause most spells and abilities to fizzle out.
Lineage:
Aspect of Vulcan
Description: A god of Forge and Fire, Vulcan was a deity who had great potential but chose to have a passive role among the gods. Vulcan's forges are of course legendary, but it's Vulcan's fire that could easily let him rival some of the greater gods. In conjunction with his forges he could easily utilize his craft to give him further edge. The fires of Vulcan touch it's host.
Ability: The Aspect of Vulcan grants it's host an inner fire. Their magic can only be consumed by god slayers. Fire magic costs 5% extra when targeting the host and they are 30% resistant to the element. The host can spend half of the magical energy a fire spell to nullify it(max S-rank).
Gains a user-ranked Fire-based signature spell. (S-rank Max) It must be made in the magic app as normal in addition to spells made.
Usage: Passive, 3 post cooldown on nullification. Can only be done three times per thread.- Legacy Signature:
Name: Scarlet the Guitar

Description:
Scarlet was the one who began it all. Scarlet was the guitar she began to learn on, and the same one that her father would play for her mother in the early days of their relationship. It was the first instrument she laid her hands on, through a thick patina of dust that had gathered in the wake of her mother’s death. That’s when her spark was ignited. A flame for creativity blossomed in her chest and she needed to learn. Scarlet herself appears as a well worn Semi-Hollow Body lacrima guitar. Her body is a bright red in color and the strings gleam in the light.
Without the effects of Fortissimo, it has a dulcet and melodic tone to it, and with the effects of Fortissimo it has a high gain, thrashy quality to the sound it produces.
Passive: Star Power: While Clara is playing Scarlet, others are touched by her flames of creation. Up to four (4) allies within a thirty (30) foot radius gain 10% Fire resistance each but only if they can hear Clara playing.
Ability Facemelter: Clara speeds up her playing to a blistering pace, to the point where flames jump from the fretboard as her fingers move. With a final powerchord the spell is finished. It sends a bolt of fire in the shape of a musical note towards a single target within 25ft(35ft with fortissimo active), dealing one rank’s worth of damage.
Strengths:- Offence - One of Clara’s few offensive Instruments
- En Fuego - Has a fire elemental affinity
Weaknesses:- Loud - Even while on the offence, hiding her location is nearly impossible
- Slow - Scarlet is relatively bulky, and movement speed while summoned is halved.
- Water - Water puts out fire, even hers
- Offence - One of Clara’s few offensive Instruments
- ”Unique Abilities”:
- Fortissimo: When bringing an instrument out from her pocket dimension, she can choose to use its magic as an amplifier. This prevents her from making use of the passive effects, but the increased volume increases the range of the active abilities. This decision has to be made when summoning the instrument, and cannot be undone until the instrument it returned to the pocket dimension.
- Breath Control: Years of playing have taught Clara how to control her breath. Circular breathing allows her to keep playing where she might have stopped. Once per thread she can use an instrument's ability twice in one post, with the following restrictions:
The two casts cannot affect the same target.
The second cast is 50 percent effective
The instrument has its cooldown doubled after returning to the pocket dimension- Conductor’s Baton: A very special ability, Clara brings a Conductor's baton out from her pocket dimension and offers it to an ally. If they accept it offers both parties benefits.
Clara adjusts herself to the Conductor's rhythm, causing her magic to take on aspects of the Conductor's magic*, but all of her spells must target either the conductor or The last person the conductor attacked.
The conductor is always able to hear Clara play, even when they would normally be deafened or Clara would be silenced, and receives 1.5x the normal effect.
choosing a conductor lasts for an entire thread, and while the privilege can be recanted, it can only be offered once per thread.

Name: Kylee the clarinet

Description:
Kylee is a beautiful wood-finish clarinet that joined her repertoire of instruments not long after Scarlet. She took to it as she did to all instruments that she held in her hands, and it sang along with her in earthy, dulcet tones that take the edge off during combat.
Passive ability: woodwind - while Clara is playing Kylee, her nearby allies feel tougher. Allows up to three(3) allies within 20ft to ignore up to ¼ of her current rank points of damage. I.e. since rank d would deal 20 damage, woodwind can potentially block up to 5 damage. This passive ability can only be used once per ally per summon
Active ability: Embouchure - Clara plays a slow, sonorous tune and places a barrier that scales in size with rank anywhere within 25ft(40ft if fortissimo is activated) that blocks one rank worth of damage.
Size scaling:
C rank: 7ft length, 6 ft height
B rank: 10ft length, 8 ft height, can shape the barrier
A rank: 14ft length, 10ft height, can shape
Strengths:- Damage reduction: reducing the damage her allies take is a powerful ability.
- Blocks sight - the barrier appears solid and can't be seen through, hiding her allies from the enemy's sight
Weaknesses:- Can't affect self - while she can place the barrier to protect herself, she cannot reduce damage done to her using the instruments passive
- Blocks sight - while her enemies can't see her allies, neither can her allies see her enemies
- Fragile - being a delicate instrument, kylee has reduced hp before being forced back into the pocket dimension
- Damage reduction: reducing the damage her allies take is a powerful ability.
D-Rank Spells- ”Heart”:
Name Heart the Saxophone

Description:
Heart looks well worn. Not quite the shining upkeep that scarlet receives, nor the gleaming brilliance of Clara’s newer instruments. Heart bears every nick and ding with pride, a sign of love and use. When she plays, with or without fortissimo, his sound is edged and rough, inspired by classic blues.
Passive ability - Rhythm: thanks to the natural rhythm, while Clara is playing heart, up to 3 allies within 25ft can deal 10% bonus Damage on melee strikes, can only be used once per ally per summon, up to a total of three uses.
Targeting C-rank: 5% bonus
Targeting B-rank and up: 0%
Active ability - Blues: Clara plays a blues riff, and with each sting she creates a small orb of magic that begins to hover around an ally within 25ft(40ft with fortissimo)The next time that ally makes physical contact with an enemy the orb explodes, dealing six damage to the enemy. She can have up to three orbs active at once, for a total of eighteen damage per use

Strengths:- Offence boost - Heart aids Clara by boosting her allies offensive capabilities.
- Nimble - the neck strap heart hangs from offers her a greater range of motion than other instruments
weaknesses- Can't affect self - Clara cannot make use of either ability of this instrument for herself
- Close range - the abilities are only useful when an enemy is in melee range
- Loud - Clara cannot hide her position when using this instrument.
- Offence boost - Heart aids Clara by boosting her allies offensive capabilities.

Name: Tone the Trombone

Type support/debuff
Description:
Tone gleams with a shine that only comes from a new instrument, and its ringing sound mirrors that new glow, ringing through the battlefield. Tone sounds with a hearty bass that cuts through the clamor of battle to strike at Clara’s enemies.
Passive ability - Andante: When playing Tone, her melody is slow and purposeful, reducing the speed of up to two enemies within 20ft by half.
C-rank: 75% move speed (25% reduced)
B-rank and up: 100% move speed (0% reduced)
Active ability - Fugue: Clara plays a short piece, and then repeats it while the previous one still echoes in the air. The magically charged dissonance causes one enemy within 15ft (25ft with fortissimo) to deal half damage with their next attack or spell.
C-rank: deals 75% of normal damage
B-rank and up: deal 100% of normal damage

Strengths:- Debuff - directly reduces enemy strength to aid her allies.
weaknesses- Bulky - Tone is an unwieldy instrument and movement speed is halved while she's summoned
- Water - tones gleaming finish can be ruined by rust, and she will return to the pocket dimension if hit by any water attack regardless of damage it would have taken.

- ”Slap”:
Name: Slap the Upright Base
Rank: D
Type: Supportive

Description:
Slap is a double bass that stands almost as tall as Clara herself, bearing a spike driven into the ground, and the back of the fretboard rests against her shoulder while she plays, giving the upright base its name. Every time she plays, it sounds like a solo taken from a larger Jazz piece.
Passive Ability - Jazz: Slap’s upbeat melodies inspire Clara’s allies. Up to two allies within 25ft of Clara have doubled movement speed while she’s playing.
C-rank: 50% bonus move speed
B-rank and up: 0% bonus move speed
Active Ability - Walk: Clara ‘Takes the bass for a walk’ as the saying goes and begins to give her chords a familiar cadence as she plays each note of the chord with equal weight. Up to two allies within 15ft (20ft with Fortissimo) are given a 10HP temporary Endurance buff
Strengths:- Buffing - Grants Speed and HP to allies within range
Weaknesses:- Can’t Affect Self - Clara cannot benefit with either ability of Slap.
- Calluses - Due to the size of the strings, Clara cannot use Slap more than Twice per thread

- ”Forte”:
Name: Forte the Trumpet

Description:
Forte is a silvered trumpet that sits in between the brilliant shine of brand new instrument and the worn glow of a beloved tool of music, and its sound is bright and cheery for the most part, until she kicks into gear and the music takes on aggressive notes.
Passive Ability - March: While playing Forte allies within 25ft who attack the last enemy hit by Forte’s active ability deal 10% increased damage to that target.
C-rank: 5% bonus Damage
B- rank and up: 0% bonus Damage
Active Ability - Crescendo: Clara begins to increase the volume of her playing until she reaches a magic fueled peak, a blast of magic energy is blasted directly in front of her hitting all enemies within 5ft (10ft with Fortissimo active)for 20 damage split as evenly as possible across all targets.
Strengths:- Offensive - One of Clara’s few instruments that can be used to defend herself when she’s alone.
- Focus Fire - Forte’s passive rewards focusing on a single enemy, making it useful for bosses or other single enemies.
Weaknesses:- Loud - Hiding is completely impossible while playing Forte, because of the volume he is played at.
- Close Range - Has limited range, meaning enemies need to already be near her in order to be able to make use of it
- Repetitive - Forte has double the normal cooldown of most spells as a base.
- Offensive - One of Clara’s few instruments that can be used to defend herself when she’s alone.
