Personality: After his father was disappointed in his abilities as a mage, he was thrown out on the streets. Although lost and afraid at first, he learned to live a nomadic life style, finding or stealing food and resting under rock faces or large trees. He eventually decides to better himself as a person by joining a guild. He tries to keep a stony face when near allies so that his personality remains a mystery, but can let out small bursts of excitement at times. Cyrus often can be seen looking to the sky in thought. The mage has no opinions about social and political class, as he lived his life as a nomad, and often will scold those who think of themselves as superior to others. Kuma is always trying to better himself and others as mages, so he will not hesitate to accept challenges from his allies, albeit with some small exceptions (such as a lack of energy or an inappropriate time/area). He has taken a vow of truth and servitude, meaning that he sill obey his superiors and never deceive anyone. He's a firm believer that the human body and soul combined can overcome any obstacle by itself, and it's only a matter of trying hard and believing. Because of this belief, he has no faith in luck or fate, and will dismiss any idea that those concepts caused any event at hand. He has minor issues with authoritative figures due to his bad relationship with his father and is often dejected and fearful when a higher up scorns him. His desire to help and please allow him to be easily deceived, and his cold nature can lead to strangers being initially deterred from him. In general Cyrus has no knowledge of history or other mages.

As a fighter, Cyrus is average. Despite having a strong looking build, his physical strength is not something to marvel at, due to his small size. He also lacks the resolve to take charge of anyone, and if put in a position of power, tells everyone to come up with their own plan. As a follower however, his desire to fulfill his leaders wishes shines through. He is able to execute other's plans without a hitch most of the time due to the extreme wish not to fail them, even putting himself in harms way to make sure nothing goes awry. It is because of this that he tends to make friends. His fighting style is primarily based on stealth wanting to avoid direct confrontation and instead take out the threat quickly and efficiently. If it comes down to fighting, Cyrus tends to rely on his surroundings rather than his strength. Despite having difficulty telling others what to do, he can come up with surprisingly intuitive plans for himself to execute, relying on things such as dislodging rocks in a mountainous area or striking from the water in a swamp. He learned such ways of fighting due to his nomadic life. Also because of his former traveling ways he has learned to dispose of and scare off wild animals. When all else fails, Cyrus uses his limited knowledge of pressure points that his father taught him. He is by no means a master of this technique, but can use it as a last ditch effort to subdue opponents.
