labor omnia vincit
Tossing and turning on the king-sized bed with her fluffy sleeping companions, the insomniac redhead failed for the fifteen hundredth time in her attempt to fall back asleep. It was seven on the clock and the faint rays of light seeping through her thick, sanguine drapery shone down on her blanket-covered bottom. Lynn let out a dissatisfied groan before sitting up bolt upright, crimson hair a nest created by an intoxicated bird above her cranium.
"Ughhhhh, fuck mornings," grunted the grumpy redhead as she tore the sheets off her voluptuous frame. "I don't fucking do mornings and sunshine fuck that shit," she continued to complain while shuffling towards the bathroom, snatching her grey towel on the way. She wasn't usually this irritable, but seeing how she had only three hours of sleep after a night of heavy drinking, it made sense. Hangovers weren't something that ever occurred to Lynn. After freshening up and brushing down her cavewoman hair in an attempt to tame it, the fierce Saber got dressed up in her usual clothes, putting more layers than usual as it was quite chilly outside and as soon as she swung her chamber door open, a piece of perfumed paper flew straight in her face from who knows where, and remained stuck to it. A very annoyed expression could be seen as Lynn yanked the paper off her face, almost shredding it to pieces before noticing the words 'job request' on it. A raw nerve popped on her right temple as she quickly skimmed the deets. Stuffing the paper between her breasts with a permanent scowl painted on her face, Lynn paced down the stairs that would lead her to the bar where usually half of the guild was. After the expansion of the guild (a town, can you believe it?) people seemed to have floated elsewhere. Lynn still preferred to go there first before roaming to the expansion area.
The sound of her barbaric guildmates causing a ruckus did not lower the least. Even though Hika (the new guildmaster after Raven) had given them an enormous area of land to go about brawling or whatever, they still managed to make the bar seem like a place for heavy wrestling. Lynn strode through the commotion towards the exit, swiftly moving through the double doors outside where the icy wind bit into her skin at first touch. She almost shivered, but with enough self-control, kept her pace bearing the cold as she entered the vast town that was now within the guild's premises. "I can't believe I have to go all the way to one of those stupid villages again. People there wear leaves for clothes," Lynn muttered to herself, head shaking in disappointment. "I better not be the only one," she yelled, head raised skywards as though shouting at the heavens.
