Player Requirements: 2-4 Dark Mages, C-Ranks or higher.
Job Requirements: 15 Posts per player, 250 words per post min
Job Description: A Major of the Rune Knights is visiting his home town of River Village. I want you to kill him by any means necessary, you don't have to fight him head on. In fact I wouldn't recommend it, but it would be quite impressive if you did, it'd also be a great show of our power. In any case at the end of the day, The Major needs to be dead.
Enemies:
Weak: 50 Civilians - A group of 50 civilians who will see a dark mage and instantly flee. Essentially a dummy roll.
Attack: Flee
Normal:
4 Rune Knights - Each of these takes a B rank hit to bring down
Attacks: Sword Slash - Basic Sword Slash
4 C-Rank Mages - Each of these takes a B rank to bring down. Their spells do C rank damage alone, but they will combine their spells to do B rank damage.
Attacks: Earth, Fire, Wind and Water mages.
Strong: 2 B-Rank Mages - Spells do B rank damage. They take five B ranks to bring down.
Attacks: Light mages who specialise in illusions
Boss: Rune Knight Major - The Major specialises in requipping various weapons, most notable spears and lances, and using powerful fire magic through them to devastate his opponents. He takes a full fifteen B ranks to bring down. He is an A rank mage and does B rank physical damage and A rank magical damage. However, if you sneak attack him then this is reduced to only 5 B ranks
Attacks: Fire/Requip
Reward: 15k per mage
Javel
Savage Skull
The Savage Skull guild was a lone and desolate one, very fitting given its location and reputation. Leaning on one of the many pillars of the grand yet empty hall was the aloof Javel. The pitch black darkness seems to have hid his presence from the outside world, only illuminated by the Lantern in his hand that hung over his other, holding a specific mission slip in it. He was very fixated on the piece of paper as he found himself reading it over and over again. Not once did he look up to observe his surroundings for anyone potentially looking at him.
Javel had an emotionless face as his eyes were locked on the mission slip. But, like many would say, looks can be very deceiving. And indeed it was; Javel was angry, seething with hatred as his blood boiled at the sight of the contents bestowed on the piece of paper. It was almost as if his normally dull blue eyes were glowing from the hatred within. And what, one may ask, would the dark mage feel so upset about? The answer is simple and logical, as any dark mage in his situation would feel the same amount of disgust when presented with any job involving rune knights.
Javel hated the rune knights, his anger towards them only matched by his hate towards the Magic Council itself. His anger was misguided, but justified ever since he came to Fiore only to come under opposition from the nation's government not too soon after smuggling himself in. Things were bad enough before then, and the rune knights only made everything worst for him; the hell and humiliation that he had to endure for, not months, but years as he forced on the run like a dog with its tail between its legs to evade capture. No one never understood or even hope to understand him and as a result, no one could be trusted.
Not one day goes by with Javel dreaming of revenge and to deliver a brutal justice upon the Council that so greatly deserved it, a punishment fitting for involving themselves with a conflict they had no right to be in. And with the discovery of this assassination contract, his vengeance could now become a reality. He would leave at dusk and wreck havoc upon those that wronged him.
