Crystal Dust [Private/Izayuki]

Elyx and Ignite were standing, new found Crystal found back when exploring the Dungeon with Riley, after testing them out, the boy was able to get the jewels into his bloodstream. Now like a Castor, he can summon them for a specific contest that he wanted to try it out on a student of his. A student, and a pain in the ass, though she is lovable like a little sister, she also is out to get him with pranks and competitions. Whenever he gets the chance to outdo her in something, he takes with a violent grip. Ignite yawned at the challenge, her bird-shaped crystals were all above her head, just sort of hanging around right now. Despite this, she was not going to be a part of this contest, this was just going to be a contest between him and his student, Izayuki. As usual, he sent her a letter with a challenge, which he knew she could not refuse. Not for any reason that she could not, but she would not rather, she was a perky and competitive girl, it was just simply in her nature according to what Elyx knew. Besides, he had three Diamond shaped jewels for her to keep for her own, the boy might have created his own sport at with these jewels. A smile came onto his face, this might have been something that Fiore would love, maybe in the Grand Magic Games next year. Oh boy, what a fun game and competition that would be. Now all he had to do was wait for Izayuki herself, so that he could destroy play against her.

From there, his magic sense began to trigger as there was a magic... Somewhere in the air? The boy looked up and his light brown eyes opened up with shock. There she was, up in the air flying. Great, now about half the mages could fly but him. Walking on air was the most he had for them, which just about did the same thing, but it was not a legitimate flight. Not according to definition. Regardless, she was now standing on his head, her balance seemed nice as well. He was able to keep her on top of his head, it didn't bother him, it felt more like a gentle tap, like if someone wanted to address him. Ignite however seemed to take it a different way. Yo! Get off of him! Trying to kill him now are ya!? Ignite exclaimed before shooting a fireball towards them, a rather big one at that. Elyx jumped forward, stumbling in the process, and eventually falling onto the floor. Ow... Ignite, she's Izayuki... She's supposed to be here. The boy explained before placing his face on the ground for a moment to rest. He then placed his head up once again before stumbling up onto his feet, it was not graceful, but it was the best he got. After brushing himself off, he continued by answering Izayuki's question. I have a little game. The boy started off before shoving his right hand into his pocket, a diamond jewel inside. With that, he tossed it over to the young mage, provided she caught it, she should have it enter her bloodstream. Then when she opens her hands, three versions of that should appear above her head. These are easy to destroy, and I have three of my own music note shaped ones. The game is simple, destroy all of your opponents crystals at all costs. The winner is the one who gets rid of all of their opponents jewels. Think you're up for it?

Elyx smiled when the girl accepted his challenge with fire in her tone as usual. It was such a pleasure to have her as someone in his life, she was so perky, even perkier than he could be at times. The last time he could even be compared to the amount of happiness that she showed was when he was with Itori, who was able to entertain him with such amazing meadows. Once she exclaimed her acceptance, she put up a bit of distance between the both of them, nice move right there. Oh? No holding back? Elyx asked with a sheepish grin on his face now. He shifted both of his blades, Knight Iris and Mystic Knight Iris. You got it boss! The boy exclaimed before looking over to the right side, a tree... In the Rose Garden. Not surprising, now he had a chance to gain control. He jumped over to the right side and slashed at the rough bark, sparks flying as his blades sliced through the tree. It took a lot of his strength in order to get the job done, but the tree was soon being cut to the center, past the center, at the edge, annnnnnnd, TIMBER! This was supposed to serve as a distraction, so instead of slicing at at Izayuki, he sliced his blade to push the tree down right next to her. Hopefully she would be distracted with that. Meanwhile, the boy would make an attempt to zip right to the other side, ready to strike her Crystals from behind.

A clean miss, it was not too far off though. His speed was going to overpower hers soon if he had something like this being executed. The boy then noticed that the ground was completely covered in ice, a bad thing for one who had no grace. Luckilly for him, there was plenty of it in him, due to the fact that he was able to dance. Skating or running may not be options, but dancing and making his body light was certainly one. Being a Violinist, it would only seem natural for him to do such a thing. The boy hit the ground on one leg, spinning in the process to face Iza, a smile on his face as his body slid back. Was that really the most she was able to do? There was a reason why he was an Ace, and now he was going to prove it. With the right aiming, he might just shatter all of her diamonds in one move.

Lightly stepping, he continued to move in a graceful movement, spinning delicately, but with average speed away from Iza's attack. Using the ice to his advantage, he pushed himself towards the girl and played his Violin, another boost added in his step, Wind Lerale: Chidoris Keep. His light brown eyes became light green, aand his body began to blur due to his high speeds. Once he got to Iza, he would jump into the air, throwing his Violin into the air. With that, he would use the effect of his blade, Shattered Iris Release, sending a circle of light magic to destroy the crystals, and everything within over 100 feet of his body. If Iza wanted to escape the wave of light, it would have to be now, otherwise, those crystals might just end up being dust.

The boy locked his light green eyes downwards to watch the scene, his body floating, slowly moving down in the process. It was something that was interesting, Iza didn't seem to be making a run for it while she still could. Did she have some sort of plan? Regardless, to recover from his attack would be a rough thing to do, at her current rank, it would take all of her power to take out the light attack he did. If she were able to do that, she would most certainly have his attention. Someone like him as a C rank mage, taking on things that were way out of his league, and maybe in this case, if she worked hard enough, might be able to beat him. His light blue music notes glowed as Elyx chuckled at the thought. This was training after all, it was not like they were evenly matched. Otherwise, the probably wouldn't have fought at all unless one were to ambush another. Now it was time to enjoy the show.

The Violinist watched carefully, and his ears caught a shot of a familiar chant... One that he never thought he would expect to hear. But it was there all right, a Howl attack. Was Iza a... Slayer? An ice slayer at that, just like Riley. Such a coincidence couldn't be ignored, he was going to have to talk to the little fireball that is Iza after this battle. The wave of light just barely, but still did get cut off by the Howl. Elyx was prepared for her however, his Wind magic can't be manipulated by freeze, or anything for that matter. The Violin was played once again, the boy spinning in a dancing sort of form as he did so. The song was rather fast this time, so that he could cast out this spell before the remaining of the weakened Howl attack would come to him. Two waves of Wind then shot from behind Elyx, standing at 20 meters tall, and coming down from behind Elyx and behind Iza, ready to engulf them both in an explosion of Wind. The boy was immune to this, this being his magic and all. But Izayuki, would she be so lucky?

One crystal taken down, putting the Violinist at an advantage. The amount of air pressure must have crushed the gem, science seemed to be on his side for this one. He put a fist into the air and had his eyes closed to celebrate the victory, just for that moment he felt so great. The game wasn't over however, Iza still had her two other diamonds. After opening his eyes however, he was awakened by quite the unexpected turn of events.Multiple amounts of needles were headed for him, they were all moving at a predictable pace though. With his speed and awareness, the Violinist was fairly confident in his ability to dodge the needles. Even if not, the goal was that he took the damage so his treble crystals wouldn’t shatter. It was a fun battle, even at the current rank that Iza was at, the fact that she was able to keep up for so long was more than just impressive. Not many of her skill have been able to put up a fight as decent as this one. Other than the fact that he full-well knew that it annoyed her, this was one of the main reasons why he claims her to be his student. Young, graceful, and full of potential in Fiore. She might someday become one of the Wizard Saints if she trained hard enough, and he was willing to support her every step of the way.

Iza seemed to have another trick up her sleeve, because one of his items forced itself to activate. The Devastation treasure, it seemed she would have been able to sweep him from below if he let her. According to the magic item, the only thing she would have done was that leg sweep. Time to avoid that, it would have been a huge game changer. The needles have yet to arrive, that was something to heavily consider while dodging. The magic item finally deactivated, and sure enough, his opponent almost caught him with the leg sweep. The best hope he had for dodging the attack and jumping backwards like a slow coin flip, his palm hitting the ice. This threw him off, not realizing how cold the ice was. His mind was focused on Iza, sure. But now he forgot about the needles, and just like that, two of his crystals were shattered, the ones on the sides were out of the fray. Iza was way stronger than he expected, was holding back really such a good idea now? After all, she was winning by one crystal. The boy regained his sight on the battle, put his hand downwards before pushing out once again to flip onto his feet. Blue rock was powered on the ice, taunting him of how he held back against the one capable of turning the whole arena into a Winter Wonderland.

A smile was placed on his face though, Iza had so much more to learn in her magic, yet she was able to knock out two of his gems. “I must say Iza, you have me quite impressed with the amount of power you have shown me. But you still haven’t one yet, and now I’m not going to hold back!” The boy exclaimed before putting out both of his swords, the Wind Chidoris Keep spell still being active at the current moment, now all he had to do was activate it. The boys eyes were light brown before, but once he pulled out both of his swords and let the spell release, they shifted into a bright green color. Just as he had promised, he was not going to hold back. His bloodstream spun violently, causing his whole body to vibrate. Yet, he was so light, so agile, he barely even had to step on the ice anymore. With both of his swords extended, he blurred instantly, activating all of his possible speed boosts once again. This time, the ice was not even slowing him down any further. The goal was to overwhelm her in melee combat to the point in which she would end up feeling energy being drained from her. Basically, he was taking advantage of the fact that he had much endurance in combat. He would raise his right blade upwards as he jumps into the air, slicing it towards her hip to stun her. Regardless of the results, due to his speed and lack of friction, he would have to turn around as he hit the ice and zip towards her again

Success! The blade was able to slash across her hip, the goal being to weaken her. With as much power as she had now, she wouldn't have enough energy to keep up with him, but knowing her, she will most certainly try to beat him. That is exactly what he hoped she would do, waste and drain out her energy on him, making her attacks futile. From this point, this game is abut winning. The rush, it's just too much to ignore, how about we make this battle one to remember. This game, is after all, a competition. The Guild Ace explained before turning his body over, a smile on his face, looking towards Iza. It was fun to be playing a game with his student, especially when they were getting heated up, she even gave him the motivation to play a little bit dirty. Knowing his student, he knew she would do the same to him as well, and that may or may not have been part of his plan. This was supposed to be interesting, and sometimes, the regular rules of a game just become way too boring. Huh!? The boy exclaimed as he heard a crystal shattering, but nothing was occurring. At least, nothing he did caused any shards to be destroyed. Was there an attack that he didn't sense coming? No, that was impossible, he was able to read Iza's magic easily due to the difference in power, and even if they had the same amount of power, his heavy amounts of awareness AND his wind sensing should be able to back him up as well. Add that with his heavily enhanced speed and you have an almost-impossible to hit person. Then again, the reason why his other two crystals bit the dust was due to the fact that he caught himself off guard. These thoughts were doing the same thing, and to check, he decided to turn his head around.

And at that moment, his awareness was heavily increased all of a sudden, his gazer not being active anymore. There was a heavy amount of magic showing in his area, and due to his distraction, he ended up clumsily moving to the sides in blurs, each of them being quick hops as the ice spears were all arriving from the ground. Ah! Elyx let out a yelp as one of them got his arm, then the second got the sole of his boot, causing him to unbalance. The third caused him to fly into the air, though it didn't do much damage, it was certainly enough to causing to fly with his lack of balance already to consider. He ended up recovering from the attack with his wind, spinning his boy into the air, now airborne. He had a chance to recover, his jewel wasn't struck, though he didn't know how close any of the spears were. Now he had a chance, if he took it now, he might knock the second crystal from Iza. While she thinks he is still in the air, all he had to do was zip, So that was what he did, by simply putting his speed to the test, he blurred in the air once again at his fastest speed, aiming his blade to cut directly into the middle crystal that Iza own. The impact with his feet and the ground would cause the earth to shake due to the heavy speed put onto this, and Elyx would land on both of his feet, legs spread apart, his arms extended out with both blades in his hands, like a clock.

Success! A Crystal had been hit, and the boy hit the ground, and due to the high amount of speed he hit the ground with, he caused the earth to crackle under him, and the surrounding earth actually shook for a little bit before coming to a halt. The intention of his full speed was successful, now the both of them were tied. Elyx could feel some sort of weird presence, it pricked sort of like a needle, nothing too bad. The Wind flow was beginning to feel a little bit weird as the boy looked upwards, and just like he sensed, he was able to catch Izayuki using Wind magic. That was a new sort of magic that he had never seen, but sadly, it was nothing too special. Being given flight was a nice technique, but knowing her magic power, eventually, she would either stop due to needing more magic to conserve, or sadly, use too much of it and end up falling to the ground and losing that much energy. One reason for it being sad is due to the fact that Izayuki would probably be hurt, low on energy and suddenly taking a fall, though Elyx didn't have to go through that while he had as much power as she did, he knew that if he took such an impact, he would have probably been sent to a remedy tent. Such a sad place to be during these times, when medicine supply was a bit short. The boy then felt magic energy surrounding him all of a sudden, the same technique being used again, but this time, he had a method for avoiding the attack. All he simply had to do... Was run off the ground. This was a garden full of trees after all.

The boy ran towards a tree as quickly as he could, once again blurring away from sight. The soles of his feet pressed against the tree, happily making contact with the bark. Both of his swords were still outstretched, ready to jump off. His light brown eyes locked onto his target, Izayuki in the air. Hopefully she wouldn't see him coming. Being in the air, seeing a blur would probably be easier. But could she actually do something about it in time is the question. And... Now! Elyx exclaimed before jumping from the top of the tree, forgetting the ice needles that flew up from the ground, and the boy then began to spin clumsily to avoid the needles. He was lucky, none of them hit him or the crystal, in fact, he pressed his foot against one and pushed away, causing him to jump over to Izayuki. A chance, he wanted to attack her crystal with a downwards slice, finishing this game if he hit. There was also a chance he might accidentally hit her only, slamming her to the ground. Or maybe she saw him coming and would completely dodge him, causing him to spin frontwards and hit the ground with a mighty thud once again.

The attack had missed, she was able to use her ice evasion to slip under the attack, causing him to land on the ground. He was not designed to use air combos, so he would not be able to slice in the air any further. And... Sadly, he had not learned out to fly yet. Nimpha promised him that he would learn how to walk on air however when he was S ranked, which might have been better since flight required magic, walking on the air was just something that you must be strong enough to do. The boy landed on the ground, then looked up to see quite a site... Izayuki suddenly... Turned into an animal? She was able to entertain him in combat, but now she was giving him a lot to investigate about her, he abilities were certainly interesting. But, her physical abilities compared to his was not able to do as she intended. Being above him, choosing a slow heavy animal to transform into? That meant she was trying to use all of this weight to her advantage. Elyx saw a chance to wipe out her last crystal, due to her being too slow to move around with all of that weight. But instead, he just placed his blades in their sheathes and looked upwards, a smile on his face. When the bear was down onto him, he placed his hand up into the air, catching Izayuki in the process, though admittedly, with one hand, he had to bend it a little bit first, but it wasn't shaking at his put his hand straight once again. Sheesh, why are you so loud Iza? I mean, as a bear or human, you certainly make a lot of noise. The Violinist said with taunt before putting his hand forward quickly to launch the bear forward, if he did it right, spinning the bear.

Now he saw a chance, he put his hand out and behind his back, gripping the Violin bow in it, and the pieces of light in his left hand formed his Violin. He placed the instrument on the side of his jaw and the bow onto the string, and with a simple slice of the bow, he brought out five pillars of wind down onto his opponent while they were in the air. The goal was to hit the crystal, but if not, Elyx hoped that they would hit the bear due to the huge size. It was his favorite B rank spell in his magic, and all five of them should at least get close to what he wants. Still though... This was Izayuki, and she has been able to pull off miracles in this battle based on what he sees.

The boy watched it all, his arms crossed the whole time. A small snicker emitted onto his face as he expected the student to probably be surprised by his strength. Admittedly, he never thought that there would be a day in which he would be able to perform such a stunt such as that one. But alas, it was so, and due to the amounts of hard work he did in the recent jobs that he had taken part of. Ignite was the one to blame for that one, but if the She Phoenix were not around, he probably would not even have the title of Guild Ace. He had no regrets when picking her up from her nest and taking care of her instead of letting her die. Now here he was, able to hold up a polar bear with ease. The next thing that Iza turned into was a penguin to slide, it seemed that the animals of ice were on her side. She was very adaptable in combat, but that didn't mean that she didn't have anything to learn. Still, once again, she was able to impress him with her current knowledge of magic with just the amount of it that she had. Maybe he would be able to conduct her B rank exam in the near future.

The boy stretched as he watched her returning back to him as another beat, one designed to be fast, a cheetah based on what he could see. Only one feline ran that fast, other than him in his Neko form, the cheetah could move that insanely fast. Little did the boy know that there was another attacker coming for him until his Wind-Make awakened sense noticed something wrong with the wind flow from the side. To put an end to that thing, the boy put out both palms, pink light forming in front of them. This summon was probably the only caster magic in his set that he could actually use. On front of him was an outline of the Guild pet, a giant white robot, Cassie. Being one of the few to actually summon it into the world outside of the Neutral Grounds. The boy smiled as it was formed so quickly in front of him, and the command he needed to have made as simple. Cassie, the target is Izayuki. Aim for her crystal, priority emergen- The boy said before being cut off by the ice beast that Izayuki summoned, it trying to violently struggle with him. As a C rank mage, he was as good as dead against it, but now his physical abilities were just way too much for the feline to handle, and wrestling it to the ground was not too hard. His hand met it's paw as they pushed forward, the boy having the most strength. He finally flipped the both of them over, pinning it to the ground, watching it struggle vainly under his weight. And that was when it happened... Blindsided... Izayuki was behind him, and though his awareness was high, he was busy with the beast... He forgot her. Fortunately for him however, it seemed his command was enough, Cassie fired a bullet from behind Izayuki, perfect shot towards her crystal. The boy knew he would lose his music note, but if Cassie made her shot successfully, both of the crystals shatter to nothing but Crystal Dust.
